"Do you think Marinette will be here soon?" Adrien asked Nino as they waited for school to start. "Missing your girl, man?" Nino grinned. Yeah, Adrien tried not blush. I also miss my warm blanket and scritches, but its not like I can tell Nino that! "Yeah," Adrien said. Okay, a slight blush crept up onto his cheeks. "Don't worry, I miss Alya too. I think she and Marinette were getting there Starbucks before school." Nino put on his headphones and begin to nod his head to the beat.
Adrien sighed, and looked at the clock. Was it his imagination or were the hands moving slower then usual? Arrgh, this was even harder then waiting for Mama Cheng to make dinner. Maybe there was something in his bag that could entertain him?
He opened the bag, and rummaged around. He had a pencil in here somewhere, didn't he? His hands wrapped around something soft and squishy, and he pulled a face. Ugh, what was that? "Paws off the cheese!" Plagg hissed, glaring up at him. "Just hand me the pencil, and no one gets hurt!" Adrien hissed back.
Plagg handed him the pencil, and Adrien slumped down, rolling the pencil back and forth. Hey, this was fun! And Marinette wasn't yelling at him to stop rolling things off the desk.
Adrien was so engrossed with the game, he didn't even notice the girls come in until he heard Alya's voice. "Cat Noir is sooo in love with Ladybug," she was telling Marinette. "Just because Cat and Ladybug flirt with each other, doesn't mean their in love," Marinette replied.
"But look at these pics when Ladybug's back was turned. Look how lovingly Cat is looking at her." "Heh, what if he's looking at her like where's the food or where's the yarn ball?"
Adrien's head jerked up. His Princess had said one of his key words: Yarn ball! "Who has a yarn ball? Oh, cheese and crackers!" Adrien leaped up to retrieve his runaway pencil.
By this time, Marinette had a gone a red color, and Alya had happened to look at him. "Looks like Cat is the only one gazing at you lovingly," she whispered. Marinette slowly turned to see Adrien gazing at her.
She nearly passed out when he gave her the flirty fingers. Thank goodness the bell rang soon after. Adrien's morning may have started out quiet, but it was certainly interesting now!
