Summary at the age of 6 Danielle had caught a severe case of meningitis leaving her optic nerves severely damages leaving her slowly going blind no longer able to cope with it her mother left her with uncle Billy at the age of 7 then disappeared without a trace except for paperwork that was mailed a month later stating her mother was giving up parental rights leaving her devastated and retreating into a shell of her former happy go lucky self slowly she withdrew from everyone except the few relatives she had left the only friend she had left the refused to let her go was her best friend Seth Clearwater now things are slowly changing shes 14 going on 15 and her cousin Jake seemed to be obsessed with bella swan, then he started avoiding her and disappearing and reappearing at random moments that she didn't care about but when seth started doing the same she was far from ok until her apparently looked her in the eyes.

Chapter one the Pass year and gut feelings
I was currently curled up next to my best friend Seth listening to his soft snores in the dark though for me it's always dark. I only knew it was due to my braille watch then I started to think about everything that had happened in the last year. It had kind of been a roller coaster. First, my cousin Jacob had been talking about Bella Swan nonstop when she moved back to forks, I could tell how much he liked her. Now don't get me wrong, it's not that I don't like her, I just got off vibes from her so I tried to avoid her when I could, choosing to hang out with Seth when Uncle Billy visited the swan's flat screen with jake. then one evening me and Seth were having our weekly movie night when his dad harry got a call from uncle Billy stating Bella was missing and there was a search party forming up then he asked if I could stay the night which wasn't uncommon anyways on our movie nights anyways then Bella went into a deep depression and I knew that it worried Jake then around January Bella started coming over bringing of all things dirt bikes for Jake to fix Up but when Jake suddenly came home sick last night after going to see a movie with Bella. I was worried it was bad with the fever he had, and Uncle Billy said he wanted had me stay with Seth and the Clearwater's place for the next week so I wouldn't catch whatever it was. unfortunately I couldn't shake this gut feeling that something big was going to happen and it wasn't going to be pretty. I scooted closer to Seth and closed my eyes and tried to actually sleep.
Seth's Pov.
I groaned for a moment as I woke up to my alarm going off, I heard Dani groaning as well so I reached over her with practiced ease and shut it up with a smack before sitting up and looking at Dani who had bags under her eyes "Let me guess Dani you were up all night worrying about Jake right?" she yawned as she sat up rubbing her eyes before nodding. "You know me I get anxious whenever someone gets sick." I shook my head as she swung her legs off the bed and got up before going into her drawer that I gave her years ago that was in my dresser pulling out her outfit for school before she headed to the bathroom change while I got dressed. When she came back, we headed downstairs where mom was cooking breakfast. "Good morning you two, do you guys have plans after school today?" she asked while setting plates in front of us. "We might head to the beach for a bit then come home and work on our homework, why what's up mom" I questioned "It's nothing you dear Harry told me to remind you guys not to go hiking for a bit till the bears attacks are settled oh and Dani sweetheart, Billy called he told me to let you know that Jacob will be ok, not to worry too much. and that after school Friday it will be fine for you to go home." Dani nodded "thanks mama sue" as we finished our food. My older sister came downstairs angrily making me and Dani wince when she slammed the front door on her way out. We better go mom. We don't want to be late. There's an assembly today during homeroom. She nodded "you two have a good day, I'll be at the clinic if you need anything." we nodded then I put our dishes in the sink, before I met Dani at the door and grabbed our backpacks handing Dani hers. i noticed Danni was usually quiet as we were walking, I looked over to see her frowning and that she Seemed to be lost in thought, so I nudged her carefully "What's on your mind Dani?" She let out a breath Before she responded "I have a feeling in My gut I can't shake that's all" I frowned "Is it about Jake?, Dani I know your gut is usually right but Mom said Jake was going to be fine according to Billy" I watched her nod "I know Seth but it's weird it's not entirely about Jake I just have a feeling something as going to happen I just can't tell if it's a good thing or a bad thing." She stopped walking and I stopped with her. I could see the troubled look on her face, so I put my hand on her shoulder. "Try not to worry Dani, whatever it is I'm sure we will get through it together." I couldn't help but grin when she smiled and rubbed her neck. "Thanks Seth I don't know how but you always know what to say now we should hurry up and get to school before Mrs. Henderson gets started on roll call and gives us mainly you, detention again." I laughed and grabbed her hand and pulled her towards the school building while still making sure she doesn't trip over any rocks on the street keeping the fact how well her hand fit in mine to myself and hoping that would never change to myself.
