*This is ported by Wattpad, feel free to come by as I've focused on making stories there rather here.*
So, back again... These chapters I make take 2-3 days on each chapter to work on. Very simple, if not I get distracted so much with anything. At best 2-3 days per chapter (only when focused) is the best I can do...
Also, I have decided to make a arrangement of the reactions list. I've noticed the list is not varied properly. So expected the arranged list below at the end of the chapter.
And, I am considering making other announcements to my other stories. But if you guys are considering it... I will be announcing my XZJQ series or maybe discuss a spin-off and sequel of RWBY Multiversal.
First off, I'd like to mention some backlash I will be expecting to see...
"I don't like the OCs."
Too bad, still using them, read the prologue to notice that this is literally the Multiverse of anything within RWBY related.
"I want more RWBY characters in the cast or other universes."
No additions within the reaction cast, nor will I find roles within each universe that don't make sense.
"What happens after the reaction list?"
Something new, an actual arc will develop about RWBY itself and the Multiverse, stay tune for that...
Anyways, how do you guys like my Jurassic Park reaction? Thanks for giving it an instant 500 reads and 30 votes, and for finally reaching a record of 400 followers. I would like if you guys go to the links in my previous chapter if you wish to look furthermore of myself and willing to support me on actually continuing this...
Thanks to SHIRO_EX_7 and GUNDAMFAN2020 for lending their RWBY OCs for this reaction, please check them out.
The two jeeps head at the next location; the Visitor's Center, while remaining work in progress due to the workers constructing it. Notable from the big hole in the wall covered by a large tarp. The fellow workers open the large doors with a smile while Stein leads his guest inside, "G'day, g'day, g'day." He greets everyone inside.
They see inside, the center, even seeing a massive dinosaur skeleton and the tag sign: 'Welcome to JURASSIC PARK'. Stein continues to speak, "Now, the most advanced amusement park in the entire world, incorporating all the latest technologies, and I'm not talking just about rides, you know, everybody has rides. But we've made living biological attractions so astounding, that they'll capture the imagination of the entire planet." He explained as he guides them while going upstairs.
Amidst the walk, Zeppelin spoke, "So what are you thinking?" She asked Jaycee.
"I think... We're out of the job." He said with smile.
"You mean extinct?" Xander spoke with neutral expression. As they still gaze the massive skeleton.
"Yeah..." Sun remarked.
"Such skeletons..." Neptune nodded.
"What is that suppose to be?" Coco asked the Entity.
"That... Is a T-Rex skeleton." Mobius stated, reminding the previous scenes.
"A interesting creature..." Yatsuhashi commented on the dinosaur.
Some of the rest agreed, though right now, they are waiting for the 'how' and 'what' of the Jurassic Park came to these dinosaurs being alive.
Next, they are leaded into a self-made theater with seats having protective bars like roller coaster chairs sit in front of a screen.
"Why don't you all sit down? Uh, Donald, sit down, sit down." Stein gestures them as they take their seats. Just as that happens, someone walks up on the screen. It's another Stein? "Here, Here he comes. Well, here I come, yes." He smiled as he goes to the front near the screen.
"Hello, Hello." The 'screen' Stein waves with chuckle.
"Say hello, say hello!" Stein assured, which they do, giving a weakly replies of hellos and smiles as Xander remains the same expression as he simply just did a half-heartedly wave.
"Hello, Viktor!" The 'screen' Stein greeted.
"Oh, yes. I've got lines." He realized, as he takes out his cards.
"Well, fine, fine, I guess... But, uh, how did I get here?" The 'screen' version looks around.
"Uh, well, let me show you. First, I'll need a drop of blood. Your blood." Stein requested.
"Right." The 'digital' nodded, as he extends his finger, the real Stein mimes poking it. "Ooh! Viktor, that hurt!" He exclaimed.
"Relax, Viktor. It's all part of the miracle of cloning!" Stein assured. Just that, a second 'Stein' appear on screen, follow by a third, then they decided to greet each other.
This sentence reveal a lot for the watchers, Samuel first spoke, "Cloned from what? Loy extraction hasn't recreated an intact DNA strand." He noted.
"And not without massive sequence gaps." Mark added.
"Paleo-DNA, from what source? Where do you get a hundred million-year-old dinosaur blood?" Patricia wondered aloud.
"Shhh!" Donald shushes them as the screen continues. An animated swirl appears from the first 'Stein's' finger. A cartoon DNA strand pops up over the shoulder of the opposite the way he's facing, and taps his shoulder, zipping to the other side.
"What? What?" He looks around to see, then finally seeing the DNA Strand. "Oh! Mr. DNA! Where did you come from?" He asked.
"From your blood!" Mr. DNA happily explained. "Just one drop of your blood contains billions of strands of DNA, the building blocks of life."
The screen transits to a blue blueprint background as Mr. DNA enters in. "A DNA strand, like me, is a blueprint for building a living thing. And sometimes animals that went extinct millions of years ago, like dinosaurs, left their blueprints behind for us to find." He explained as he forms up the diagrams of paper and dinosaur.
"We just had to know where to look." Mr. DNA unrolls the bullprint, showing the next transition of the mosquito drinking blood from a Dinosaur. "A hundred million years ago, there were mosquitoes just like today. And just like today, they fed on the blood of animals. Even dinosaurs." Then after sustaining its fill, the insect flies off and landed on the tree. "Sometimes after biting a dinosaur, the mosquito would land on the branch of a tree and get stuck in the sap." As showing footage of the mosquito covered by tree sap. "After a long time, the tree sap would get hard, and become fossilized just like a dinosaur bone, preserving the mosquito inside." Then goes shows the cartoon video of the miners digging up the ground, and finding the amber itself.
Then cut to live footage of scientists drilling into the mosquito amber as Mr. DNA continues to exposit. "This fossilized tree sap, which we call 'amber', waited for millions of years with the mosquito inside! Until Jurassic Park scientists came along, using sophisticated techniques, they extract the preserved blood from the mosquito, and, bingo: Dino DNA! A full DNA strand contains three billion genetic codes."
This got the interests of everyone new witnessing this information.
Now Mr. DNA is standing in front of a screen avoiding with data flying everywhere. "If we looked at screens like these, once a second for eight hours a day, it'd take two years to look at the entire DNA strand. It's that long." He stated. "Since it's so old-" Mr. DNA got interrupted when caught by one of the flying data chunks. He soon reappears back on screen and continues talking. "It's full of holes. Now, that's where our geneticists take over."
Showing the lab footage of the scientists working on the DNA strands as Mr. DNA voiceover. "Thinking machine supercomputers and gene sequencers break down the strand in minutes, and virtual reality displays show our geneticists the gaps in the DNA sequence."
Showing a cartoon of a frog as Mr. DNA explains. "We used the complete DNA of a frog to fill in the... Cold..." The frog turns part of the DNA strand as Mr. DNA brings the code inserted to the rest of the strand. "And complete the... Code! Phew!" He relived. "And now we can make a baby dinosaur."
Then Mr. DNA pulls the rope down, bringing the curtains , transiting the scene of an egg, that now cracks, emerging Mr. DNA who transforms into a Dinosaur and fully grown, walking away from the screen.
Viktor Stein then remarked. "This score is only temporary. It all has very dramatic music, of course. 'Rum pum pum'. A little march or something that hasn't been written yet and then, of course..." He clicks a button on a remote. "The tour moves on..."
Then the bars click into place, and the entire seats begins to move, taking them past the glass through windows... Where all the scientists at work.
The safety bars click into place, and the seats begin to move, carrying them past glass windows, through which they can see scientists hard at work. Then Mr. DNA spoke through the PA, as they watch...
"This is overwhelming, Viktor." Donald remarked with a smile. "Are these characters auto-erotica?" He questioned.
"No, we have no animatronics here. These people are the real miracle workers of Jurassic Park." Stein replied.
While Mr. DNA continues to talk, Samuel observing the work set, as one of the workers set down a dinosaur egg. This intrigues him, "Wait a minute. How do you interrupt the cellular mitosis?" He pointed out loud.
"Can't we see the unfertilized eggs?" Patricia asked.
"Shortly, shortly." Stein assured them. But the ride continues on, as they are getting slightly 'impatient'...
"Can't you stop these things?" Samuel asked as he tries to budge out.
"I'm sorry. It's kind of a ride." Stein replied.
He's not the only one, Zeppelin and Xander decides to help him. All three hold the bars, "One, two, three." They managed to push up the safety bars, and getting out the seats, walking off.
"Uh, you can't do that. Can they do that?" Donald perplexed by this, as Stein scoffed at their behavior and lifts the bar up himself, following them.
Upon seeing the explanation, this got everyone interested.
"DNA Cloning?" Jaune puzzled by this. "All that from tiny blood from ancient dinosaurs..."
"To think the man have made that kind of creation utilizing it to bring back these dinosaurs." Pyrrha replied.
"Hang on, they said that the code is broken and have to fill out the remains with frog." Neptune pointed out. "Doesn't that technically make them not like the dinosaurs?" He assumed.
"A correct observation, Mr. Vasilias." Glynda stated. "This slight DNA gene mix, may produce an entirely new species."
"The way they proceed it... It feels, rushed." Weiss remarked by their process. "I get the process is long as they stated, but to add different genes..."
"Chaos theory perhaps?" Yang suggested, referring Mark Xander in screen.
"Uh... Yeah." Weiss replied.
Then upon seeing the lab and the group's excitement to check out, then later scene...
"Huh, like kids..." Qrow muttered in amusement. "Like the younger days..."
"Can't help upon the very thing they study has come to life." Ozpin smiled.
The group arrived into the genetics lab, seeing the scientists working with technology and equipment as advance they can ever see... Then another voice not of Mr. DNA spoke over the PA, "A reminder; The boat for the mainland will be leaving at nineteen hundred hours. All personnel be at the dock no later than eighteen forty-five. No exceptions."
Then, Stein comes up to one of the scientist, "G'day, Greg." He greeted him, gaining his attention.
Greg who was writing on a clipboard turned by this response, "Good day, sir." He responded the greeting.
"It's turning the eggs." Zeppelin admire the gazing upon the dinosaur eggs, with one of them spin buy a robotic arm. Then Samuel sees that one of the eggs is shaking violently, it is hatching!
"Oh, perfect timing. I was hoping they'd hatch before I had to go to the boat." Dr. Greg smiled.
"Greg, Greg!" Stein happily remarked as he wears the gloves. "Why didn't you tell me? I insist on being here when they're born." He positions himself in front of the shaking egg. Then the shell cracked as a tiny creature pushes its way out. "Come on. Come on, little one. Very good. Push..." He cheered for the little one to break free.
"Oh goodness..." Zeppelin is in awe seeing this moment.
"Push. Come on. Come on. Come on, then." Stein continues on as the baby dinosaur finally pushes out of the shell, revealing its small head coming out, he helps take off theshell on top of the baby dinosaur's head. "There you are. There. They imprint on the first creature they come in contact with. Helps them to trust me. I've been present for the birth of every creature on this island." He smiled upon the dinosaur baby as others gaze closely.
"Expect the ones that bred in the wild." Xander mentioned.
"Actually, they can't breed in the wild. Population control is one of our security precautions. There is no unauthorized breeding in Jurassic Park." Greg explained.
This got Xander's attention, "And how can't they breed?" He asked.
"Well that's because all the animals in Jurassic Park are female. We've engineered them that way." Greg stated.
Meanwhile, Stein helps the baby dinosaur free from its shell. "There you are." He cooed while the baby dinosaur cries out.
"Look at that..." Zeppelin cooed at the baby dinosaur, while Samuel joins in, by carefully pick up the baby dinosaur. "Blood temperature seems like about high eighties, maybe."
"Igor?" Stein asked Greg.
Dr. Igor checks, "Ninety-one." He stated. As Samuel holds the rest of the eggshell, a robot arm came and snatched it away, much to his surprise.
"Homeothermic? It holds that temperature?" Patricia asked.
"Yep." Greg nodded.
As Xander is pondering by the responses of Greg, he asked again, "And what do you mean, engineered them that way?" He questioned.
"We control their chromosomes. It's really not that difficult. All vertebrate embryos are inherently female anyway. They just require an extra hormone given at the right developmental stage to make them male. We simply deny them that." Greg explained.
"Deny them that?" Patricia perked up.
Mark remains troubled, as he speak to Stein, "Viktor, that type of control you're attempting on nature, it's not possible. If there's one thing that the history of evolution has taught us, it's that life will not be contained. Life breaks free. Expands to new places and crashes through barriers. Painfully, perhaps even dangerously." He stated with serious concern while crossing his arms.
Viktor stares with slight confusion same with Greg, "You're implying that a group composed entirely of females will... Breed?" He assumed.
"No." Xander stated. "I am simply saying, that life, finds a way..."
Meanwhile, Jaycee is looking at the baby dinosaur he carries. For some reason, now, he is getting a suspicion of this creature... "What species is this?" He asked.
"It's a velociraptor." Greg stated.
"...You bred raptors?" He asked, with a concerned tone. To which Greg slowly nodded, he simply stare at the baby velociraptor...
"Technology is almost equal to Atlas..." Ironwood sees the modernized look of Remnant technology of one of Mistral's island.
"Huh, it kinda does look cute..." Ruby can't help but to slightly admire the baby dinosaur being born to life. Nora also cooed at the creature as well.
"Heh..." Yang chuckled at the robot hand took the eggshell. But she also hears the talk, "Wait, simply deny them that?"
After hearing Mark's words, Blake speaks up, "That kind of control, can only lead them so far..." She muttered.
"Yeah... With that and the unauthorized breeding..." Neptune replied, but paused as he thinks of something, about the frogs... Sun noticed.
"Bro, you're okay?" He asked.
"No, it's fine... I just hope I am kinda wrong on this..." The blue haired boy murmured.
Meanwhile the adults listen to this conversation, James speak up on this scenario. "I may agree with Dr. Xander." He said.
"That's ironic, coming from the man who brought the army at Vale..." Qrow remarked. "Gaining control of the situation."
"Those are entire different situation." James reminded in a hushed tone.
"Oh sure..." Qrow eye-rolled, but nothing he can refute more, what's done is done.
"Qrow." Glynda glared at him.
"Alright, I'll try be a teammate..." Qrow grunted.
Back at the students, Jaune noticed Jaycee's reaction of what the dinosaur is called, "Velociraptor... That's the same creature he told about the kid how dangerous it is..." He worried.
"So they must've... Breed them." Ren comes up the conclusion. And just as the next scene shows...
Then, the next scene shows a familiar paddock as a loud sheik occurs. Then Jaycee and others are on the walkway, outside of the pen.
"Dr. Jaycee!" Stein calls out to him. "As I was saying, we've laid on lunch for you before you set out into the park, our gourmet chef Alejandro-"
Just then, Samuel gaze up, "What're they doing?" He pointed out, as they joined to see a cow is lowered by a crane into the pen, lowing with fright.
"Oh, feeding them." Stein happily replied. They watch the cow being carried as Stein continues, "Alejandro is preparing a delightful menu for us: Mistral sea bass, I believe. Shall we?"
Just then the cow is dropped into the pen, the group watches as the animal is hidden by the pen's environment. All the sudden, snarling noises occur, followed by cow's fright, horrible noises and the cow squealing in pain and terror. The trees in the pen shake violently. The group simply has mixed reactions of awe and disgust.
"They should all be destroyed." A familiar voice as the blue haired wolf double trait faunus. He spoke in a serious grunt.
"Ah, Simon, this is Simon Directo, my game warden from Vale." Stein introduced the hunter to others. "A bit of an alarmist, I'm afraid, but knows more about raptors than anyone."
With that confirmed, Samuel spoke to him, "What's their metabolism, what's their growth rate?" He asked.
"They're lethal at eight months. And I do mean lethal. I've hunted most things that can hunt you, but the way these things move..." Simon remarked, glancing at the pen.
"Fast for a biped?" Samuel wondered.
"Cheetah speed. 'bout fifty or sixty miles per hour if they ever got out in the open, and they're astonishing jumpers." Simon listed the traits of these creatures.
"Yes, yes, yes, that's why we're taking extreme precautions." Stein assured, then he goes to Patricia. "The ah, viewing area under here..."
"Do they show intelligence?" Samuel questioned.
"They're extremely intelligent. Even problem-solving intelligent. Especially The Big One." Simon stated. "We bred eight originally, but when she came in, she took over the pride and killed all but two of the others. That one, when she looks at you, you can see she's working things out." He looks at the pen again. "That's why we have to feed them like this. She had them all attacking the fences when the feeders came."
"But the fences are electrified though, right?" Zeppelin added.
"That's right, but they never attack the same place twice. They were testing the fences for weaknesses systematically." Simon replied. "They remember..." Then the crane moves, lifts the harness, where the cow is no more, as the remains are destroyed and covered in blood.
"...Yes, well, who's hungry?" Stein asked with a smile.
Blake winced by the loud shrieks from the Raptors. However she came to realize the paddock...
"Those are the same ones..." Ren confirmed the cage.
"They sound nasty..." Jaune winced by that. Then came seeing the cow being feed to the creatures. "Oh..." He gets a funny feeling in the stomach. "Not again..." Pyrrha noticed and soother him, to prevent sickness.
Nearly everyone winced by this, "Dang... Tell me this is Grimm, and I would believe you..." Yang remarked.
"Poor cow..." Ruby felt sorry for the aftermath of the animal. She knows meat eaters gotta eat, but what these creatures done... It's brutal.
"Stein really tries to make this tame..." Fox remarked. "Simon on the other hand..."
"Simon is an expert..." Weiss added while she listens his discussion with Samuel about the Raptors. "Judging by these creatures and his explanations, it might take an expert team of hunters and huntresses to be capable against the Raptors..."
"But they look vulnerable by those skellys." Nora pointed out the last scenes.
"And that makes them fast, agile." Weiss refuted. "It takes actual teamwork to overcome their teamwork and tenacity."
"So what? We can still take em! They aren't that special compare to the Grimm we faced!" Nora smiled. Weiss sighs but only one of member of JNPR isn't confident by her statement... All the while Yang nudged Blake to snap out her thoughts when Stein mentioned fish.
Now inside, they are served with dishes, around them, videos are being shown, displaying future plans, the guests remain silent by this moment, while Stein's voice speaking over, "More adventurous guests, of course, can opt for our jungle river cruise, or for a close up look at our majestic..." Then the real Stein speaks.
"None of these attractions are ready yet, of course, but the park will open with the basic tour that you're about to take, and then other rides will come online six to twelve months after that. Absolutely spectacular designs. Spared no expense." He stated.
Then Donald suggests. "And we can charge anything we want. Two thousand a day, ten thousand a day, and people will pay it. And then there's the merchandising which I personally-"
"Donald, Donald. This park was not built to cater only for the super-rich. Everyone in the world has the right to enjoy these animals." Stein replied.
"Sure. They will. I mean, we'll have a coupon day or something." Donald suggest which Stein slightly laughs, leading him to weakly laugh.
"...The lack of humility really does show up here." Mark remarked, not even eating his food.
Donald spoke to him, "Thank you Dr. Xander, but I think things are a little bit different than both you and I have feared." He assured.
"Yeah, it's worse than I thought." Mark replied.
This left him in bizarre. "Now, wait a second now. We haven't even seen the park yet. There's no reason-"
"Donald, Donald, let him talk. There's no reason." Stein reassured him, "I want to hear every viewpoint. I really do." He said.
"Very well." Mark sighed as he lean straight, letting his arms down while they are crossing. "Viktor, there is danger you inherent. Genetic power is incredible force that unbinds nature, yet you are using it carelessly like a kid who found a gun as its first time."
"It's hardly appropriate to start hurling accusations-" Donald remarks of his words.
"If I may continue..." Mark raised his hand, shushing Donald, "The problem of that scientific power, is that you didn't require any discipline to attain it." He stated. "You read what others had done, and took the next step, not gaining the knowledge yourself, thus you don't gain responsibility... By the time you stood proud of this fast accomplishment, you patented it, packaged it, and selling it. As if it's some food on a lunch box."
Stein chuckled by that statement. "I don't think you're giving us our due credit. Our scientists have done things which nobody has ever done before." He said.
"I know, but your scientists were so preoccupied over whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." Mark explained.
"...Condors. Condors are on the verge of extinction." Stein mentions.
Mark sighed, "No-" He tries to speak.
"No, no! If I was to create a flock of condors on this island, you wouldn't have anything to say." Stein tires to refute the point.
"It's- It's not some species that are wiped by deforestations, or anything by us." Mark added seriously. "Dinosaurs, are wiped out, outside our reach."
"I simply don't understand this kind of Luddite attitude, especially from a scientist! I mean, how can we stand in the light of discovery and not act?" Stein exclaimed by Xander's words.
"Because discovery is nowhere as light as you would think of." Mark stated. "It's simply a violation of the natural world."
Hearing those concerns, Zeppelin spoke up, "Well, the question is, how can you know anything about an extinct ecosystem? And therefore, how could you ever assume that you can control it? You have plants in this building that are poisonous. You picked them because they look good. But these are aggressive living things that have no idea what century they're in and they will defend themselves. Violently, if necessary." She stated.
Stein is surprised by these response, so he only looks at the remaining person... "Dr. Jaycee, if there's one person here, who can appreciate what I'm trying to do..." He tries to convince.
"..." Samuel remains quiet, cupping his hands around his chin, he makes his response, "The world has just changed so radically, and we're all running to catch up... I don't want to jump to any conclusions but look; dinosaurs and man, two species separated by sixty-five million years of evolution, have just been suddenly thrown back into the mix together. How can we possibly have the slightest idea, what to expect?"
Now, Stein is truly exclaimed by this as he chuckled, "I don't believe it! I don't believe it! You're meant to come down here and defend me against these characters, and the only one I've got on my side is the blood-sucking lawyer!" He pointed to Donald who seemed offended.
"Thank you." Donald muttered.
Just then, one of the waiters arrived, and whisper to Stein, then his baffled expresion turns into gleam. "Well. They're here."
Listening this conversation, it is nothing to talk much. But when Mark begins to talk about the issues of this park.
"Violation?" Qrow muttered quietly. He mentally laughs by Mark's words, that is like the natural world's rape. Then he later chuckles at the 'blood-sucking lawyer'.
"Hm... Dr. Xander, has a point..." Pyrrha called out. "The dinosaur species seemed to be remarkable, but to attempt to control them..."
"Yeah..." Jaune agreed. "Dr. Jaycee said these guys are from 65 million years ago?!" He slightly exclaimed by this.
"It's hard to know something that is ancient, or forgotten..." Velvet added. "Trying to co-exist is..."
"Difficult, in the end..." Coco shrugged at the end.
"Is it really worth it bring them?" Ren gives out the question.
Meanwhile Ruby wonders something, "...Um... What are, Condors?" She wondered aloud.
"Those are birds that are extinct by our times." Penny explained with a smile.
"Oh..." Ruby nodded.
"Out of all the questions, Ruby..." Weiss muttered.
"I was just curious!" Ruby reasoned. But then she ponders on the discussion, "Though should the dinosaurs should have a chance?" She wondered, gaining their attention. "I mean, they are still living... They are not Grimm..."
"I mean, yeah, animals have aura like all living beings..." Yang reminded. "They have a soul..."
"Miss Rose has a point." Ozpin remarked. "The idea of creating life should be regarded as high responsibility. I believe Stein should learn that, and perhaps accepting them as part of the ecosystem rather than entertainment should suffice it."
"You are certainly knowledgeable Headmaster Ozpin!" Penny smiled. Ozpin remains silent, as he knows his views on history...
Just then they are curious by who is arriving due to Stein's mood change of happiness.
Then later on, they are walking down the staircase into the front lobby of the visitor center.
"You four will have a spot of the company out in the park, get to spend a little time with our target audience!" Stein said, just then two young kids, a boy whose younger than the girl arrived with smiles.
"Grandpa!" The two gleamed and runs up to him.
"Kids!" He cheered, as they both hug him excitedly, knocking him back. "Oh wait! Careful with the old man!" He smirked.
"We missed you!" The girl said.
"Me, too." The boy added.
As the kids talk to Stein, Zeppelin adored them, glancing at Samuel who is surprised seeing them.
"We loved the presents. They were great." The girl stated.
"Did you enjoy the Bullhead?" Stein asked.
"Yeah, it went down and we all went right up." The girl replied.
Later on, green, yellow colorful cars are arriving at the front of the visitor center where the group are now waiting.
"Now, kids, come away. Not too close to the cars." Stein assured his grandkids to gain distance from the vehicles. Then they stopped as Stein walks up to them. "Aren't they lovely? Aren't they glorious, though? These will be your transports for the afternoon." H
"No drivers?" Donald questioned, seeing the cars has no drivers... The kids enter at the first car.
"No. No drivers." Stein replied. "They're automatic. They run on this gravity dust track in the middle of the roadway here. Totally non-polluting." He pointed the track bellow the vehicle's filled with gravity dust. "Top of the line. Spared no expense."
Then inside the car, the girl found a screen device, "It's an interactive CD-ROM!" She gleefully stated. "You touch the right part of the screen and it talks about whatever you want." She said as she touches the right part, the screen shifts showing the entire map sketch of the island.
"Lex darling, you're all right in there?" Stein asked the girl's name for the first time. She must have nodded as he turns to others who are observing the vehicle function. "Dr. Zeppelin, come with me. Dr. Jaycee, come in the second car." He gestured them.
Xander remains quiet and just goes to follow Zeppelin. Walking pass, Jaycee, who turns to see Stein entering back at the center. Just as he goes to the second car, the boy came up to him at a stop.
"I read your book." The boy remarked.
"That's great." Samuel replied as he walks off, but the boy follows.
"Do you really think dinosaurs turned into birds and that's where they went?" He asked.
"A few species may have evolved along those lines." Samuel responded as he opens the car door and enters the back seat, the boy joins him, sits on the other side. He turns to see him smile.
"Because they sure don't look like birds to me." The boy commented, silence occur, as Samuel shifted back at the left and leaves the car, the boy follows again. "I heard that there was this meteor, hit the earth someplace down in Vacuo, and made this big crater..."
"Listen..." Samuel spoke up, but doesn't know the boy's name...
"Tim." The boy speaks his name.
"...Tim, which car were you planning on?" Samuel asked.
"Whichever one you are." Tim replied. Then, Samuel walks to the front car, as the boy follows and continue speaking. "Then I heard about this thing in Omni about this meteor making all this heat. It made diamond dust and that changed the weather." Then Samuel opens the door of the front car, the boy enters inside. "They died because of the weather. My teacher tells me about this book by a guy named Bakker. He says..."
Sameul closed the door, muffling the boy's talking. Then he goes back to the second car, only to be meeting Lex, the girl, smiling and standing. "She said I should ride with you 'cause it'd be good for you." She said, as he glance at Zeppelin whose smiling at this moment. Much to his slight annoyance...
"Stein's grandchildren." Winter whispered, seeing how the kids liking their grandfather, reminded the time when Nicholas used to be there... Weiss is also reminded by that.
"Kids, he isn't happy to see that." Nora giggled at Samuel's reaction.
"Way different than the last kid." Coco joked.
However, some are interested by Tim's explanation of the dinosaur's extinction event.
"A meteor crashed on Vacuo, altered the weather, thus killing the dinosaur species..." James intrigued by this, he never expected this alternate world has physically encounter a extraterrestrial object. "I am curious of this Bakker person on what he has to say about this." He heard Tim mentioned Bakker, perhaps a rival scientist to Jaycee.
"She really wants him to get close to kids..." Jaune chuckled by Lex's comment.
Somewhere, inside some facility, a PA voiceover, "The boat is now loading. Everyone must be on the dock for the 1900 departure." Then came Simon followed up by Stein...
"National Weather Service is tracking a tropical storm about 75 miles west of us." Simon stated as he pointed out the computer screen, of the upcoming storm.
"Why didn't I build in Patch?..." Stein muttered in irritation.
"I'll keep an eye on it. Maybe it'll swing south like the last one." Simon replied.
Then Stein pats someone's shoulder, "Ray, start the tour program." He stated.
The man with dark skin, Ray goes to another computer, typing down then replied, "Hold onto your butts." He affirms, as he goes back to the other computer, starting the tour... Then the other screen shows a camera of the visitors center, where the voices occur, notably the kids chattering. Stein takes a breath, then a smile, the tour shall start...
Outside, the vehicles move, the kids are excited, while the adults are talking amongst themselves. At the front car, Donald and the kids are there, as the recorded voice spoke, "During your tour, the appropriate information will be automatically selected and displayed for you..."
Then Tim see something, "Look!" As he pointed at the front. While the voice muffled from their ears because what they see... Is remarkable. A large gate with the sign of Jurassic Park is front of them.
"Are we gonna hit that?" Lex worried.
"Welcome to Jurassic Park." The voice concluded, as the large gates opened up, everyone watches as they are past the gate, thus it shuts.
Stein types on the keyboard, as he is wearing a headset mic. Watching the cams monitoring the cars and passengers, he speaks with a different accent, "The voice you're now hearing is Rick Kylie. We spared no expense." He stated.
Outside, they arrive the first paddock with the sign and symbol of the dinosaur called: Dilophosaurus. "If you look to the right, you'll see a herd of the first dinosaurs on our tour, called Dilophosaurus."
"Dilophosaurus!" Saumel goes excited, joined by Zeppelin, they immediately look for the sight of the dinosaur. The kids also wanting to witness this...
Then the voice began to exposit, "One of the earliest carnivores, we now know Dilophosaurus is actually poisonous spitting its venom at its prey, causing blindness and paralysis, allowing the carnivore to eat at its leisure. This makes Dilophosaurus a beautiful but deadly addition to Jurassic Park." But the problem... The lack of dinosaur is showing...
"Uh... Where?" Zeppelin puzzled by the lack of Dilophosaurus.
"...Damn." Samuel grunted as the car move passes the paddock.
Seeing the scenes occur, they have something to say... They are impressed by the Park's structure despite still under developed.
"A Dilophosaurus..." Penny is keeping each animal she learns their names once announced, so far she got Velociraptor, Branchiosaurus, Tyrannosaurus Rex, and now Dilophosaurus...
"Shoots paralyzing venom..." Winter noted. "Hopefully they'll improve the security standards due to its capabilities, I doubt the mere fence can be enough..."
"Sounds dangerous..." Sun winced. "Though... She doesn't like to show up..."
"I'm pretty sure animals with a soul won't be appearing for some attraction." Coco remarked. "This ain't some 'zoo'." She recalled Stein's words.
This tour isn't going well for the group...
Inside the system room, Ray pointed out the screen of the diagram of the car for Stein to see, "Vehicle headlights are on and not responding. Those shouldn't be running off the car's batteries. Item one fifty one on today's glitch list. We have all the problems of a major theme park and a major zoo and the computers aren't even on their feet yet." He said.
Stein in disbelief of the technical difficulties, he turns to someone, "Dennis, our lives are in your hands, and you have butterfingers?" He exclaimed. Then the man behind the messy desk turns revealing a familiar slightly obese man...
Dennis laughs as he turns holding a can of soda, "I am totally unappreciated in my time. You can run this park from this room with minimal staff for up to three days. You think that level of automation is easy?" He takes a sip. "Or cheap? You know anyone who can network eight machines and debug two million lines of code on my salary? If so, I'd love to see them try." He turns back to the desk.
"I'm sorry about your financial problems. I really am. But they are your problems." Stein replied as he walks off.
"You're right, Viktor. You're absolutely right. Everything's my problem." Dennis muttered aloud which caused Stein to come back.
"I will not get drawn into another financial debate with you, Dennis. I really will not." Stein stated.
"There's hardly been any debate at all." Dennis scoffed.
Then Stein glares at Dennis, "I don't blame people for their mistakes. But I do ask that they pay for them." He said.
"Thanks, dad." Dennis quietly mocked him.
"Dennis. The headlights." Ray called out, annoyed.
"Yeah, I'll debug the tour program when they get back, okay?" Silence occurred, "Okay?! It'll eat a lot of computer cycles, we'll lose part of the system for a while." He exclaimed. "There's a finite amount of memory. We can't use it for everything. Are you gonna compile for half an hour-
"Quiet, all of you!" Simon calls out, interrupting them. "They're approaching the Tyrannosaur paddock.
Seeing things are already going worse for the control room.. Then seeing the man behind desk, Dennis...
"That's the guy from at the restaurant!" Ruby recognized. "He really does work here..."
"So that's the reason he is trying to steal Stein's work..." Weiss grunted by this man's attitude. "He really is having a financial trouble..."
"Yeah, but Stein really isn't helping with that situation.." Yang mentioned when Stein rebuked him.
"Yeah, pretty much said its his problems..." Coco shook her head.
"I agree..." Pyrrha nodded. "I do see both the point of views are on the right position, but, Dennis is the one whose doing the wrong."
"Oh boy... They are going to meet the T-Rex..." Jaune mentioned at the end.
"Surely that big fella can't be hard to see..." Sun quipped.
The two Tour Vehicles come to a stop outside the massive electrified fence that serves as the enclosure for the Tyrannosaur Paddock. Everyone is looking at the window in anticipation of seeing this one.
But once again, no sight of the T-Rex itself... "We'll try to tempt the Rex now. Keep watching the fence." Ray's voice speaks over at coms. Just then, a cage raised up, with a goat inside the paddock, tethered to a post as the cage is lowered.
Lex worried seeing this small animal left exposed out in the open. "What's gonna happen to the goat? She's going to eat the goat?!" She exclaimed.
"Excellent." Tim smirked.
"What's the matter, kid? You never had lamb chops?" Donald asked as he watches.
"I happen to be a vegetarian." Lex muttered aloud.
Jaycee sees nothing has changed even when easy prey is standing tethered. He comes a realization, "T-Rex doesn't want to be fed, she wants to hunt. Can't just suppress sixty-five million years of gut instinct." He muttered.
Continue to wait much longer. But the T-Rex is a no-show. They sit back in disappointment as the vehicles move forward again.
At the control room, Mark looks at the camera as the screen shows, "I suppose you don't have your dinosaurs on this dinosaur tour, yes?" He assumed with a sarcastic tone.
Stein watching this from the control room as he has something to say about Mark Xander... "I really hate that man."
Mark leans back at the seat while the car moves. "The Tyrannosaur doesn't obey any set patterns or park schedules. The essence of chaos." He stated.
"I'm still not clear on chaos." Zeppelin commented.
"It's simply deals with unpredictability in complex systems. The shorthand is the Butterfly Effect. A butterfly can flap its wings in Vale, and in Mistral, you get rain instead of sunshine." Mark explained, however, Patricia is just puzzling stare at him, as the point went over her head. He sighed and explain in further detail, "Here. Give me your glass of water..." He requested.
Meanwhile, Samuel's attention gazes outside. He notices something and tries to get a better look. As Mark's demonstration occurs. "Despite the moving car, it should be fine. Put your hand flat like a hieroglyphic." He holds her hand in position as then he dips his finger on the cup, taking small amount of water. "A drop of water falls on your hand. Which way will the drop roll off? Which finger?" He asked.
"Thumb, I'd say." She replied. To which Mark places the drop of water on her hand. It rolls off the back.
"Okay, freeze your hand. Don't move." He advised as she follows. "I'll do the same thing, same place again. Which way now?" He asked.
"The same way." Patricia assumed. And just that, he did it again, but it goes the opposite direction much to her surprise. "How-"
"It's due to the tiny variations. The orientation of the hairs on your hand..." Mark explained.
"Samuel, look at this." She calls out, but Samuel remains focused on what's outside.
"...The amount of blood distending your vessels, thus imperfections in the skin..." Mark stated.
"Imperfections in the skin?" She wondered what he meant.
"Just microscopic that never repeat and vastly effect that outcome. That's..." Mark waited for her answer.
"Unpredictability." Patricia answered as Mark nodded. Just that, Samuel's curiosity rose, and he opens the door of the vehicle and jumps out.
Mark noticed this, "And it seems Dr. Jaycee is doing something this unpredictable action." He remarked, causing Patricia worried by the sudden leave.
"Samuel?" Patricia calls out as she also leaves the moving vehicle.
Meanwhile Mark remains alone, he sighs deeply getting an odd feeling everything is just chaos... "Thus the demonstration of Chaos Theory..." He muttered before he goes out to follow them.
Scene occurs, nothing interesting, even Nora feels bored by this.
"Ugh... Nothing is exciting." Nora groaned.
"Huh, guess you're right..." Sun muttered by Samuel's statement about the T-Rex's absence.
"Yeah, good one Mark..." Yang chuckled at that remark. "No dinosaurs in a dinosaur park."
"I feel bad for Mr. Stein, he really wanted this..." Velvet pondered at the old man.
Then they listen to Mark's detailed explanation of his chaos theory, "Hm, very intriguing..." Penny awe at the explanation. "Though I am interested he use the Butterfly Effect as an example as well."
"Sounds like a scientific explanation of bad luck." Qrow commented. "Just pure randomness with no order, leading bad things."
"Huh, that makes more sense..." Ruby understood that, since she is slightly confused by this until Zeppelin stated to be 'unpredictability'. "But, the Butterfly Effect... Does he know the Multiverse thingy?"
"I'm pretty sure not... We still haven't got the knowledge about that until now." Weiss assured.
Qrow chuckled at the end of Mark being alone in the car, due to the two left by something taht gain their attention.
Seeing this at the control room, Stein demanded the orders, "Stop the program! Stop the program!" He blurted out as the camera shows the other people leaving the cars too.
"I told you how many times we needed locking mechanisms on the vehicle doors!" Simon shouted.
Back to Dennis' desk, on his screen shows the surveillance of the embryo cold storage room, and another showing the ship at the east dock. He breaths slightly, glancing at the familiar barbasol can on his desk.
Cut to outside, everyone are walking across the open field, as the sky is noticeably darker with the approach of a storm.
Tim continues to speak besides Samuel, "Like I said, there's this other book by a guy named Bakker, and he says the dinosaurs died of diseases."
"Where are we going?" Patricia asked, but no response.
"He didn't say they turned into birds..." Tim goes on.
"Anyone else think we shouldn't be out here?" Donald remarked.
"And his book was a lot fatter than yours." He uses his hand to demonstrate. "Like this."
"Really?..." Samuel remains uncaring.
"Yours was fully illustrated." Patricia mentioned.
Just then Lex suddenly stumbles, and Samuel catches her. "You okay?" HE asked as she nodded, they continue walking while he continues to ignore him.
"Look at this. Wait, watch. Come on, watch this!" Tim tries to get his attention, but finally Samuel suddenly stops everyone.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. Everybody stay here." Samuel stated as he walks off a head. A short time after, Tim follows.
"Tim." Patricia calls out.
"Hey, Timmy!" Lex shouts her brother.
Tim kept walking through the tall grass, and emerges out, where Jaycee is standing with someone, and beside them... A dinosaur with two horns, lays on her side, breathing heavily. It's a Triceratops!
"Don't be scared. Come on, it's okay. Directo tranquilized her for me. She's sick." The ranger besides Jaycee assures them.
"Oh, my goodness. Hi baby. Hey baby girl. Hey." Zeppelin chuckles with excitement as she soothes the dinosaur, going closer.
"She was always my favorite when I was a kid, and now I see she's the most beautiful thing I ever saw..." Samuel muttered in awe.
Patricia smiled, then she notices something odd about the dinosaur's tongue. She chekcs closer, touching it, "Microvesicles. That's interesting..." The man hands her his penlight. "Thanks. What are her symptoms?"
"Imbalance, disorientation, labored breathing. It seems to happen every six weeks or so." He explained. While Samuel feels the breathing, as it's lungs extending slightly pushing him. Lex watches him, as she smiles while he smiles.
"Six weeks..." She muttered, as she shines the penlight into the dinosaur's eyes, "These are dilated. Take a look." The Triceratops groaned by the light. "It's okay." She soothed.
"They are?" The man checked, and later impressed by her analysis. "I'll be damned."
"That's pharmacological. From local plant life." Patricia stands up and starts looking around, noticing a purple and green plant she recognizes. "Is this West Vale Lilac?" She pointed out.
"Yes. We know they're toxic, but the animals don't eat them." The ranger replied.
"Are you sure?" Patricia wondered.
"Pretty sure." He nodded.
"There's only one way to be positive. I'll have to see the dinosaur's droppings." Patricia informed, which slightly surprised Mark.
"Dino... Droppings?" Mark repeated her words.
Seeing the next scene of the control room, Cinder gain more attention at Dennis looking for the opportunity... She is curious if this pathetic man can pull this heist off... With the incoming storm and all, he is struggling...
"I bet Dennis guy don't expect the storm." Mercury remarked. "Think he'll do it and mess it up?" He assumed.
"For once, I agree." Emerald shrugged normally.
"Indeed, desperation comes first for people like him..." Cinder whispered.
The rest noticed it the first scene as well, they knew Dennis' expression. No Chaos Theory can prevent this prediction...
Penny noted the information into two categories due to Tim's explanation.
"Do dinosaurs really are from birds?" Ruby asked Penny, as she is listening thoroughly.
"It is plausible." Penny nodded. "Some dinosaur species have skeletons similar to bird anatomy. T-Rex and Velociraptor have their feet and arms are similar to the birds' feet and wings. After all evolution between 65 million years, it could happen."
Qrow hearing this information, he leaned and whispered to Ozpin. "Hey, Oz, about dinosaurs similar to birds..."
"You know I have my reach, plus Dinosaur don't exist in our world." Ozpin whispered back but with slight amusement in his tone.
"Worth a shot." Qrow shrugged as he takes a sip from the flask.
Then witnessing another dinosaur... Nora awed in shock, "Ooo! What is that?!" She exclaimed.
"Triceratops." Mobius answered.
"Remarkable..." Penny noted again.
"She seemed sick..." Velvet commented until, Zeppelin and the ranger confirms this.
"Huh, compare to the Raptors." Yang referred the raptors, "She a plant eater?" She wondered, as Mobius nodded.
"Poor dinosaur..." Sun remarked.
"Those are nasty symptoms..." Neptune winced.
"She'll be okay right?" Ruby wondered, when Zeppelin mentioned the plants. Then she mentions a 'thing' later...
"Dino... Droppings?" Jaune repeated Mark's words in sync...
"...Ewwwww." Weiss winced in disgust.
Back inside, Ray and Stein watch the incoming storm as Simon is in middle on a call from the scroll, "Yeah, I got that." As he holds the phone aside, to speak to Stein, "The storm center hasn't dissipated or changed course. We'll have to cut the tour short. We'll pick up tomorrow where we left off." He stated.
Sadden by this, "Are you sure we have to?" Stein asked.
"It's not worth taking the chance, Viktor." Ray replied.
"Sustained winds at 45 knots." Simon pointed out.
"...Tell them when they get back to the cars." Stein requested.
Then Ray makes an announcement, "Ladies and gentlemen, last shuttle to the dock leaves in approximately five minutes. Drop what you're doing and leave now." He stated.
While Stein is irritated by this... He slammed his hands on the desk. "Damn!"
Back at the sick Triceratops, Mark is witnessing a massive pile of droppings nearly as tall as he is... "That is one big pile of shit." He muttered.
Nearby, Zeppelin is wearing gloves, and digging through another pile of droppings. For a while, she makes her statement, "You're right. There's no trace of lilac berries. That's so odd, though..." She walks off, thinking. "All right, she's suffering from Melia toxicity... Every six weeks..."
Mark and Samuel gazes, Mark spoke out, "She's tenacious." He commented.
"You have no idea..." Samuel replied, with a smile.
"Hm..." Mark hummed. Hopefully she'll wash her hands after this...
Back in the control room, Dennis is frantically typing at his computer. When he finishes, a big button labeled 'Execute' appears on his screen.
Return at the Triceratops, a loud peal of thunderclap is heard. This caused Donald perked up by this, "Doctors, if you please. I have to insist that we get moving." He calls out.
This got their attention, but Zeppelin is insisting to stay. "Oh. You know if it's alright I'd like to stay with Doctor Harding and finish up with the Trike. If you know..." She said.
"Sure, I have my own jeep. I can drop her off at the Visitor's Center before I make the boat with the others." The ranger named Harding assured.
"Great. Then I'll catch up with you if you want to go on." Patricia agreed to stay.
"You sure?" Samuel asked.
Zeppelin nodded, "Yeah, I want to stay with her a little longer." She cared for the dinosaur.
Convinced, he nodded back, "Okay, then." Then ne, Xander, Donald, and the kids head back to the tour vehicles while Zeppelin checks on the triceratops again. Rain begins to pour heavily.
Even waves are shown crashing over the island's storm barriers.
Back in the control room, Dennis is on call with the someone whose waiting with the boat at the east dock as shown in the camera. "There's nothing I can do. If the captain says we gotta go, we gotta go!" He exclaimed.
"No no, listen. You gotta give me some time." Dennis begged. "I did a test run on this thing, and it took me twenty minutes. I think I can push it to eighteen, but you gotta give me at least fifteen minutes. Just give me fifteen minutes." He quickly explained.
"No promises!" The man replied as the call hangs up. Dennis looks nervous, realizing that it's now or never if he's going to pull this off...
"So much for the first day..." Fox commented on Stein's frustration. They understand his perspective, then came the next scene...
"Okay, I am not seeing this." Weiss looks away the moment Mark witness a massive pile of dung... There are most of their expressions being disgusted.
"Indeed, that is one massive pile of shit." Qrow muttered, while dried chucking by this.
"He and his sense of humor..." Glynda and Winter glared at him.
Then their attention is gained when Dennis has begin his first move, guess for him, it's now or never. Nothing much to say, other than they witness how violent the storm is... Back to Dennis calling someone.
"Desperation..." Cinder stated.
"I get the feeling the storm is like Xander's Chaos Theory." Sun reminded. "Something bad will happen..."
"Hm, that does fit..." Pyrrha realized, but she hopes it won't be that drastic... Hey Khaos reading this, ahem... Irony.
The majority of the audience are worried by Dennis' action and impact to the park and the people...
Meanwhile Stein is idly looking at the mosquito-containing amber attached to his cane, looking somber. Ray's voice speaks over, "Visitor vehicles are returning to the garage." He stated.
"So much for our first tour. Two no-shows and one sick Triceratops..." Stein sighed sadly.
"It could have been worse, John... A lot worse." Ray assured him as he takes a cigarette.
"Anybody want a soda or something?" Dennis spoke up, gaining their attention. He tries desperately to sound casual and unassuming. "I'm going up to the machine. I'd thought I'd get somebody something. I've had only sweets and I'm gonna get something salty... Oh! I uh, finished debugging the phones. I was going to, uh, so I did. So I debugged the phones. And I thought maybe I should tell you that the system is going to be, um... Uh..." He checks his watch. "..Compiling for eighteen to twenty minutes. So some of the minor systems, they may go on or off for a while, but it's nothing to worry about, it's just a simple thing." Then he turns to take the mouse, click onto the execute button. A lot of the windows on the screen clear away, and what remains is a one minute countdown. Dennis starts the countdown, grabs the can of shaving cream, then leaves
Back at the tour vehicles, Jaycee and Xander are in a car by themselves. For some reason, Sameul wanted to ask this to Mark... "Do you have any kids?" He wondered.
"...Me?" Mark responded, as Samuel nodded. "Actually, I do, three kids. They are not bad as you know them. Especially if you have a good wife."
"You're married?" Samuel asked.
"Use to..." Mark replied. Silence occurs between the two, "I currently have a girlfriend, she's a wildcard however, best if she isn't here..." He added. Samuel nodded as the car continues to go.
Back at the Center, Dennis is waiting outside the door leading to the embryonic cold storage. He's watching his stopwatch carefully, as a security camera slowly turns to the door. He begins the countdown. "Five... four... three... two... one..."
Just like that, the door clicks open, the security camera turns off just as it faces the door, and Dennis enters. Back in the control room, Arnold is about to light a cigarette, when a buzzing, then rhythmic beeping from his computer gets his attention. He turns towards it. "That's odd..." He muttered.
"What?" Stein comes up.
"Door security systems are shutting down." Ray pointed out.
"Nedry said a few systems might go offline, didn't he?" Stein replied, reminding Dennis' statement.
At the cold storage, Dennis opens up the can of shaving cream, seeing the compartments inside. He opens the two embryo freezers, taking out one of each embryo and sticking it in the can. When he has one of each kind, he puts the can back together, closes the embryo freezers, and leaves.
"Wow... That's so good..." Mercury sarcastically claps his hands by Dennis' lying.
"Okay, that's painful." Emerald cringed by this.
"I agree, how they not notice bewilders me..." Weiss agrees the two 'students'.
Meanwhile they listen to Mark and Samuel's speaking. Ren noticed by Mark's saying that he has a girlfriend as a wildcard, he glanced at Nora who is watching the screen. Back to Dennis' heist...
"No..." Velvet worried by the sudden impacts such as the security shutdowns...
Penny meanwhile worried, but she still analyzed the species embryos Dennis just took and install into the can.
Back in the cars, the interactive screen goes off. Though the men don't notice...
"Why you ask me about kids?" Then Mark realized. "Dr. Zeppelin... Is she...?" He wondered.
"Oh. No, we're not together, together." Samuel shock his head.
"Ah..." Mark nodded. Suddenly the car halted to a stop, surprising them.
"Okay, what'd I touch?" Samuel raised his hands off.
"You didn't touch anything... We stopped." Mark realized.
Back in the control rooms, things are getting really worrisome. Indicators are showing the fences all over the park are turning off. "Oh, what the hell, what the hell, what the hell..." Ray noticed the systems.
"What now?" Stein questioned.
"Fences are failing all over the park." Ray stated.
Perplexed by that, Stein turned to others, "Find Nedry! Check the vending machines!" He demanded.
During that moment, a jeep drives up to the large gates of Jurassic Park. Revealing to be Dennis leaving the car, wearing a raincoat due to the pouring rain. He goes over to the gate at the panel box. Opening it, showing a lever that said 'Manual Override', he flips it to unlock, then gets back in the jeep. Then he uses it to bump the gate open as he leaves.
Back in the Control Room, Ray has made his way over to Dennis' workstation in hopes of fixing the problems. However, the desk is covered in garbage, "Look at this workstation!" He exclaimed in disgust as he sweeps it away with his arm. "What a complete slob!"
"The raptor fences aren't out, are they?" Simon worried.
Ray immediately types on Dennis workstation, and check the Raptor Paddock... "No, no, they're still on." He pointed out.
"...Why the hell would he turn the other ones off?" Stein questioned.
At the park, the reason is revealed. An electricity fence is shown, with a warning sign that it can't be opened while the fence is armed.
Dennis opens it, then continues driving further, however during the drive the windshield is covered by the rain, making it blurry for him to see. Suddenly right in front a fork in the road appears, he slammed his brakes but came crashing into a sign. He quickly gets out, and picks up the sign, showing East Dock direction, but the arrow is loose...
He struggles to think which arrow was pointing... He points it to the left, then to the right, then angrily spins it.
Ray is typing on the computer on Dennis' workstation, "Access main program." He muttered as the computer flashes 'PERMISSION DENIED'. Then he tries another command, "Access main security." 'PERMISSION DENIED', "Access main program grid." 'PERMISSION DENIED', just then, the screen suddenly fills with a repeating message: 'YOU DIDN'T SAY THE MAGIC WORD!' At that moment, an animated image of a cartoony Dennis Nedry appears on the other monitor, wagging his finger.
"Ah ah ah. You didn't say the magic word. Ah ah ah! Ah ah ah!" The digital Nerdy mocks him.
Ray then he slams his hands on the desk. "PLEASE! God damn it! I hate this hacker crap!" He cursed at the screen.
"Call Nedry's people in Vale." Stein recommended, which Ray did, but the problem he notice is that...
"Communications are out, too." Ray replied.
Then worries occur as Stein asked this question... "...Where did the vehicles stop?"
Then the trouble begins... They listen how the scenes plays out...
"There he goes..." Qrow grunted at Dennis leaving through the massive gate.
The scene goes on, "I just notice it..." Weiss grunted, seeing up close of Dennis' workplace as Ray sweeps it off.
"So, that's why he only turns off these fences..." Yatsuhashi replied. It's for him to leave properly as shown.
"Oh he's stuck." Mercury chuckled seeing him trying to figure out where the East Dock is. Desperation comes to quick troubles.
Then came with Ray trying to access the workplace only to show the hacker screen, "Of course, he's a nerd on computers..." Sun groaned.
"Hacker, actually." Neptune reminded.
"Who cares?! They can't access it." Sun pointed out. Then when communication is out... "Oh that's just great!"
The goat is still standing by the rain, bleating. The stopped cars are right next to it, revealing their location being the T-Rex Paddock. Samuel was outside near the first car, he runs back to the second...
"Their radio's out too. Green said to stay put." He referred Donald's surname.
"...Are the kids okay?" Mark asked.
"I didn't ask. Why wouldn't they be?" Samuel wondered by his response.
"Kids get scared." Mark stated.
"What's scary? It's just a little hiccup in the power." Samuel replied.
"...I am getting a bad feeling about this..." Mark muttered.
In the second car, Tim suddenly pops up wearing night vision goggles, startling Lex who grunted by his stunt. Donald noticed this, "Hey. Where did you find those?" He asked.
"In the box under my seat." Tim answered.
"Are they heavy?" He questioned.
"Yeah." Tim replied.
"Then they're expensive. Put 'em back." Donald tells him, discouraging the kid. So Tim ignores him and climbs into the back seat. Lex smacks Tim.
"Don't scare me." Lex grunted. As Tim looks out into the rain through the goggles, enjoying the view.
"Whoa, cool. Night vision." He muttered in awe as he looks around wearing these goggles.
More time passes. Dr. Jaycee reaches out of the car to fill his canteen with rainwater, then takes a drink. More waiting... Meanwhile Tim suddenly becomes aware of something... A thumping sound...
"Do you feel that?" He calls out to his older sister.
She doesn't answer, however Tim gazed at cups of water, each thump, the water ripples. Donald also sensed this, he tries to ease the situation... "Maybe it's the power trying to come back on."
Then the thumping gets louder, Lex noticed as well, "What is that?" She blurted out. Tim still wearing the night visions goggles. He looks at the T-Rex paddock, then he sees the goat is gone, only the chain holding it swinging from the stake. "Where's the goat?" She worried.
A loud sound occur, something landed on the window roof... They see a dismembered leg of the goat. Lex gasps in shock. Tim looks up, with s surprised look and sees the Tyrannosaurus, a giant dinosaur with small arms big legs appears as she devours the goat whole..
"Oh gods... Oh gods!" Donald witnessing this, panics as he open the door of the car, and runs out into the rain.
Lex is freaking out by this. "He left us... He left us!"
Jaycee and Xander saw Donald runs off, as he goes into the concrete bathroom. "Where is he going?" He wondered.
"..." Mark remains silent, getting suspicious by this. Then another sound gets their attention, and they look up, to see the T. rex breaking through the no-longer electrified fence.
"Dr Jaycee?..." Lex stutters in fear as the T-rex finally come out of the enclosure. Then she bellows a loud roar...
The two scientists watch in fear, "...I hate being right all the time." Mark muttered.
"Oh dear..." Pyrrha worried seeing where the vehicles are at...
"Yeah, you should..." Qrow responded to Mark's 'bad feeling' comment.
Seeing the kids, nothing to said, until Tim looks through the night vision. Then the thumping occurs... Something's coming... Then certain gasps when goat is missing... Revealing a severed leg...
Then they finally see it. The apex of dinosaurs, devouring the goat. Then Donald runs away...
"He just left them..." Velvet widen her eyes. "Kids... Alone..."
"Damn it..." Yang grunted at the man's action.
The T-Rex roars so loud through the screen, others covered their ears notably Blake had to cover her cat ears specially.
"That's the Rexy ol girl!" Khaos gleamed. They ignored his excitement since this creature is a danger in this situation...
Then the massive dinosaur slowly approaches the second jeep, nudging it with her snout.
"What do we do?..." Mark in hush, questioned Samuel.
"Okay... She just ate, and is likely exploring the new area in her territory, as long we stay inside the car, and not draw any attention... She'll leave us be..." Samuel whispered and advised.
However at the front Explorer, Lex is tearing through a storage area in the backseat. She pulls out a flashlight, which turns on. The light gets the Rex's attention, and she turns towards the front car.
"Goddamn. Turn the light off. Turn the light off." Samuel muttered, worryingly.
Tim seeing the T-Rex coming, "Turn the light off!" He frantically trying to get the flashlight off. Then seeing the door opened, left by Donald, he quickly shuts the door tightly just as the t-rex noticed. It roared causing the kid's to cover their ears. The t-rex moves the car a bit causing them to scream.
"Hurry! Turn it off!" Tim exclaimed as Lex tries to.
"I'm sorry!" Lex panics.
"You're the one who turned it-" They stopped arguing as nothing happened... Until they look up... The T-rex's head crashes down, slamming the plexiglass roof of the car down onto the now screaming kids. The plexiglass holds, however, it is the only thing protecting the kids from the Rex's teeth. The kids continue to scream in terror.
Not getting them, the T-rex decided to lift up and now rams her head against the car. It tipped at the first strike, but not as it got flipped over by the second. Then the dinosaur stands on top of the car, biting down the bottom its way through. The kids are trapped in the rapidly crushing car, as mud and water are pouring in around them.
At the second car, Jaycee finds a box of flares and grabs one. He gets out, opening the flare, emitting a bright red light. "HEY!" He yells out the T-Rex gaining her attention on the flare.
Letting out a loud roar. Jaycee slowly waves the flare back and forth, as the Rex follows the movement of the flare. Gotten her attention, he flings the flare off to the side, and crouches down hidden by the car door. The T-Rex seeing the light, follows with curiosity.
Then Mark came out with his flare, waving to the dinosaur. "Hey! Hey! Hey!" He calls out.
"Mark, what are you doing!?" Samuel exclaimed.
"Get the kids!" Mark starts to run with the flare, trying to lure the Rex away as worked, too well...
"Get rid of the flare!" Samuel shouts.
"Go get the kids!" Mark yelled.
"Get rid of the damn flare!" Samuel exclaimed. Mark tosses it away, but the T-Rex is not fooled by the flare and is chasing him. Noticing that the T-Rex still follows, Mark runs for his life, heading to the bathroom where Donald hides in.
As that said... Donald mustered in prayers while inside the bathroom, "Oh God of Light, full of grace, the lord be-" Then he sees Mark along the T-Rex coming, screaming as he slams the stall door shut.
The T-Rex crashes into the bathroom building, while Mark is knocked by the T-Rex's snout as he crashed down while the collapsing roof buried him. The rest of the bathroom collapses, leaving Gennaro exposed, seated on the toilet. The T. rex stares at him for a moment, "No! No! AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" He scream as the Dinosaur snaps him up in her jaws, swinging him around.
Back at the wrecked vehicle, Jaycee attempts to help the kids out. He is at the side where there is a concert barrier behind. Glancing seeing the T-Rex ate Donald, it seems the goat wasn't enough... He rushes the rescue.
"Dr. Jaycee!" The muddy Lex begged to be helped as he does, after that he tries to do for Tim...
"I'm stuck! The seat's got my feet!" Tim grunted as he tries to budge.
"I'll get you next." Samuel manages to get Lex out, "You're all right. You're okay." Then he tries to find a way to help Tim. "Tim! Tim!"
But Lex saw the T-Rex is about to turn, she screams, Samuel quickly covers her mouth. "Shush! Don't. Draw. Any. Attention..." He hushed.
The T-Rex stops in front of the car wreckage, luckily they are hiding behind the car, the T-Rex is distracted as she gazes at the car, attempting to find something. Then she shoves the car with her snout, as Samuel and Lex forced to move ahead. She shoves more, and they are being backed towards the concrete barrier with no choice but to climb up.
"Timmy!" Lex hush and huff in worry.
"Tim!" Samuel replied, with no choice he gestured Lex to hold on as she goes on his back, Samuel grabs a wire and beings to rappel down the wall. The Rex continues to push the car closer to the edge. Lex screams and grabs around his neck tightly.
Samuel gagged by that, "Lex! You're choking me!" Seeing the car is coming right down on top of them. He looks around quickly, and spots another wire off to the side out of the way. "Grab the wire!" He tells Lex, as he runs towards it, Lex tries to grab it but comes up short coming back. Attempting again, he lets his momentum swing him back, this time Lex grabs the wire just as the car falls past, barely missing them and landing in a tree below. The T. rex lets out another loud roar...
Nothing spoken for now, until Lex turns on the light...
"Oh no..." Velvet winced seeing the T-Rex's sight gazing on the kids.
"Turn it off!" Ruby exclaimed, scared for the kids. Khaos slightly giggling how she is yelling at the screen... Ruby right now would be perfect for CinemaSins... Hey, why are you writing my thoughts, don't let them see this-
Then gasps occurred when the T-Rex attacked the kids, most of them are worried for them.
"Yes!" Nora relieved seeing Samuel's plan to distract the T-Rex. Until Mark came in with his plan... "Oh..."
"What are you doing?!" Yang exclaimed. Others agreed by her words.
"Get outta here dude!" Sun joined in, seeing the T-Rex chasing Xander.
Then the crash occurred, silence starts, then gasps again when the T-Rex ate Donald who is screaming in pain. Ruby and Velvet covered their eyes, some look away, others watch in dismay. Donald is a coward, but he didn't deserve this...
"What has he done..." Winter muttered from Dennis' action.
"Come on..." Ruby now hoped for Samuel can save Lex and Tim.
Tension for most of the audience seeing them escaped. They sighed but worried for Tim, once the car landed on the tree, while Samuel and Lex managed to avoid the car. Ears covered by another loud deafening roar.
Back in the control room, Zeppelin is also here, worried due to being told of the situation. Ray is still trying to figure out Nedry's sabotage. "The keycheck space o, keychecks off, safety space o. He's turning the safety systems off. He doesn't want anybody to see what he's about to do. Now, look at this next entry, it's the kicker: Whte_ . Whatever it did, it did it all. But with the keychecks off, the computer didn't file the keystrokes. So the only way to find them now is to go through the computer's lines of code, one by one." He explains.
"How many lines of code are there?" Patricia asked.
"About two million." Ray stated.
"Two million?" She worried by the result.
"Yeah." Ray replied.
Stein slowly turns to Simon, "Simon. I wonder if perhaps you would be good enough to take a gas jeep and bring back my grandchildren." He said.
"Sure." Simon nodded as he leaves.
"I'm going with him." Zeppelin stated as she joins.
Stein then gazes at the window, seeing the pouring rain... "Viktor..." Ray's voice spoke up, but he didn't gain attention. "Viktor." Slightly louder, he turns to Ray who has a concern look. "I can't get Jurassic Park back online without Dennis Nedry." He stated.
"Two million codes to decode..." Neptune winced. "At this point, it's pointless."
"They better be careful..." Velvet hoped that Zeppelin and Simon can find them, while avoiding dinosaurs that are on the loose.
Then when Ray stated he can't get Jurassic Park online without Dennis. "Well hate to say it..." Qrow grunted and annoyed by Dennis...
Outside, Dennis is still lost in the rain, is driving toward east dock. "Should've been there by now." Dennis is frustrated by this.
The Jeep splashes through a puddle as Dennis loses concentration of the road as he turns to the car door window. Then seeing sudden a white fence, and Nedry panics, tries desperately to steer the Jeep away. It slides down of the slope, crashes on a fallen tree. Dennis tries gets out of the Wrangler, but realizes the wheels are stuck..
"DAMN!" Dennis yells, but then he sees a sign pointing to the East Dock, which is straight ahead and... "The road!"
Stressed out, he leaves the jeep, going to the front. He grabs a rope and bring it to tie to a tree at the bottom in order. "There's something here... Tight... That thing there and... Pull down this thing to there." He speaks to himself during this.
Then he slips down to the bottom. "My glasses!... I can afford more glasses!" He panics as he tries to adjust. Making his way to a tree to tie a rope around to get his Jeep to the bottom, and he stubs his toe. "Oh, jeez!" He winced the pain.
He quickly checks his watch... "I got time. I got time! You can do this Dennis you can do this."
Suddenly, something passes through the bushes which Dennis noticed. "Hello?" No response, he continues on. Then a dinosaur appears behind the tree Dennis is pulling the rope to. It's not much bigger than Dennis himself.
"Oh that's nice. Gotta go." He remarked as he heads back to the Jeep, but the creature continues following him. This makes him nervous, "Nice boy...NICE DINOSAUR! I have nothing!" He fretted, as he grabs a stick, and starts poking at the dinosaur who chirped in response. "Hey here's a stick. See the stick? STICK STUPID! Fetch the stick!" He tries to tempt the dinosaur and throws the stick, but the creature has no interest in the stick as it continues to look at him.
This annoys him, "No wonder you're extinct... I will run you over when I get back down." He grunted as he climbs up to the jeep. However, he turns back, then sees the dinosaur goes close, then he opens his frill and snarls at him.
Then it shot some slime at his shirt, he grabs it, seeing that it's not being friendly, he tries to up quickly. He reached the car door, looks back in the direction of the dinosaur. Then it shot more of the slime, right into his face.
"GEEAHAHHAAAAAAAAAAAA!" He screams in pain as the slime burns his skin. He tries to reach the door, but his face is covered in slime, not seeing until he hits his head on the car door, and falls down.
Then the Barbasol can falls down at the waterfall. He whimpers and gets up and crawls inside the jeep. Safe... Until he hears snarling inside as he turns to see the dinosaur in the passenger side.
His fate is sealed as he screamed while the dinosaur begins to devour him. Meanwhile the Barbasol can that contains the embryos has buried under a flow of mud...
Seeing Dennis getting stuck, they noticed something stalking him, until they see the dinosaur...
"Huh, a small one..." Jaune tilt his head, "It's kinda cute...?" He assumed.
"I wonder what dinosaur that is..." Coco remarked.
"Whatever she is..." Sun replied, seeing the dinosaur is not following the stick. "She seemed to be interested in him..."
"That's rude." Penny frowned when Dennis insulted the dinosaur, and threatens to run him over if he gets his car back on track.
"Yeah, she didn't do anything to you..." Ruby replied, annoyed by his attitude, not knowing the opposite will happen...
As Dennis climbs up and turns to see the dinosaur, frill opens, and then she spat something at Dennis, Penny realized what this dinosaur may be... Later when he got hit by the same slime in the face as he screams in agonizing pain.
"The dinosaur... It is a Dilophosaurus." She noted.
"Huh?" Yang exclaimed by this when she and others are shocked to see this happening to him.
"These species shoot venom out of its mouth." Penny continued further, as that happens, they now witness Nerdy dropped the barbasol can and later he gets killed by the Dilophosaurus.
"Oh, that's nasty..." Sun winced by this.
"So much for that..." Mercury replied. "All that for nothing... Well, at least we get to see what that one looks like..." He humorously remarked.
Cinder agreed, this man, Dennis Nerdy, is surely a fool and he got a fool's death... Truly pathetic once more.
Now they watch as Nerdy's fate occur, the rest worried for the remaining others at the park, wondering how can they escape this island?
