Hello everyone! Sorry, I haven't uploaded for the past six months. I was having a lot of stress from work. I typed through the past six months when I felt it or on my days off or holiday breaks, but I took some time off and finished the chapter on the 31 of December. I wanted to upload it but needed to check for mistakes first. I hope everyone had an excellent Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year! And thank you to the people who favorite and follow!

I talked to redfang19 in PM, and they gave me ideas for both girls, and I wrote the rest using my imagination.

Yesterday was a lot of fun. Everyone celebrated Luffy's survival by eating two Devil Fruits and partying like crazy. When it was nighttime, everyone headed to sleep. The Red Hair pirates returned to their ship. Makino and her parents cleaned the bar up while Luffy helped. Makino and Luffy took a bath together while her parents went to sleep. Makino was still in awe of Luffy's tail. She couldn't help herself. It was something new, and she was intrigued. Luffy and Makino went to her room and slept peacefully.

The next day, Luffy was sitting on top of a bed while the Doctor did a check-up on him. He was waiting for the Doctor to Finish. The Doctor took some notes. "Okay, Luffy, everything looks good. Nothing seems to be infecting your health. Your tail is fascinating. When you get older, your tail will grow as well. You've grown a little, just two inches. You mention that your smell is better, and you see better in the dark." Luffy nodded.

The Doctor chuckled a little and started to take notes. "You are full of surprises, Luffy." The Doctor wrote down more. When he was done, he looked at Luffy. "I've been around the world and never seen anything like this. Eating the second Devil Fruit was a one-time thing. You and that creature you called Godzilla fused together and became something new. You'll be like this, Luffy, for the rest of your life." The Doctor looked at Luffy, who had a smile.

"I don't mind if I stay like this. I like having a tail now, having a good smell, and seeing better in the dark. I can do a lot of things now." Luffy showed what he could do with his tail. Luffy stretched his tail and grabbed a lollipop from a bowl across the room. His tail retracted back to Luffy. Luffy popped the lollipop in his mouth and gave a big, toothy smile while his tail wiggled left to right.

The Doctor nodded his head at seeing what Luffy could do. "This also brings me to my second point with the other Devil Fruit, the Gum-Gum fruit. You still lost the ability to swim the open seas." That made Luffy's toothy smile go away. He forgot everything that Shanks told him about the Devil Fruits. But remember, he can still be on the ship without touching the seawater. That put a smile on his face. The Doctor looked at the time. "While this is enough for now. I have to do some research about this Titanus Gojira species. I had never heard of a species before. They might have been extinct long ago. I'll have to do some research about that. You can go, Luffy. I'll go by the bar later to talk to Izuku, Ibara, and Shanks about your check-up. Have a nice day." Luffy thanked the Doctor and headed straight to Partys Bar.

Location: Partys Bar.

Luffy entered Partys Bar. The Red Hair Pirates all yelled out Luffy's name. Luffy said hi to everyone at The Red Hair Pirates. Luffy sees everyone having fun as always. He walked toward the counter, noticing that it was new. The broken counter that the bandit did was replaced by a new one. Luffy walked up to the counter. He could smell the freshly cut wood. He liked the smell and started to sniff it. Shanks heard sniffing. He looked down and saw Luffy. "What are you doing, Luffy? You have allergies?" Shanks looked at Luffy's tail. It was still a surprise for him of Luffy's changes. Shanks never thought that things could happen just like that. He thought it was going to be a typical day.

Luffy looked at Shanks and shook his head. "No, I just liked the smell of cut wood." Luffy climbed up a stool chair to sit. When he sat down, he looked around. Luffy felt that he was dreaming. With his new powers and changes, anyone would think they were dreaming. But Luffy knew he wasn't dreaming because the Doctor had taken blood from him, which hurt. Then he smelt one of his many favorite foods, making his stomach grumble.

Shanks head Luffy's stomach grumbles. "Hungry as ever, Luffy. Do you ever get full while eating a lot? Just thinking about you eating a lot is making me full." Shanks grabbed his straw hat and started to fan himself. "You might exactly beat Roux at eating," Shanks said, making Roux turn his head and look at both of them. "Joking, Roux." Roux went back to eating. "I think Makino is making your food, Luffy. She'll be here with your food in just a few minutes." Luffy nodded his head and waited.

In ten minutes, Makino came out with a hamburger plate with fries and a cup of soda. Luffy looked at the food scale, making his stomach growl, mouth water, and tail wiggle around. Makino giggled at Luffy's reaction. "Here you go, Luffy, eat up." She set the plate and the cup of soda in front of Luffy on the counter.

Luffy grabbed the hamburger and took a bite, making his taste buds dance to the taste. Luffy took some fries and shoved them in his mouth. But he was missing something, and then it hit him. He needed ketchup. Luffy swallowed his food and looked at Makino, who was enjoying seeing Luffy eat her cooking. "Makino, can I get ketchup, please," Luffy asked politely.

Makino looked at the counter, noticing she forgot to return everything to the counter. "Oh, sorry, Luffy, I forgot to return everything when they installed the new counter." Makino opened one of the covers and took out the things she forgot to put back. "Here you go, Luffy. Enjoy the food." Makino handed Luffy the ketchup and started to put things back. Luffy added ketchup to the side of his fries and enjoyed his food.

A couple of minutes later, The Doctor entered the bar. He walked toward the counter and sat on a stool. "Good evening, Makino. Can I talk to your parents? It's about Luffy." Makino nodded and went to fetch her parents. The Doctor looked at everyone. "Gentlemen." He greeted The Red Hair Pirates. They also welcomed the Doctor. The Doctor looked at Luffy, who was enjoying his food. "How's your taste, Luffy? Anything changed?" The Doctor asked.

Luffy shook his head. "No, everything is good," Luffy answered The Doctor's question and continued eating.

The Doctor nodded and wrote it down in his notebook. Then Izuku, Ibara, and Makino exited the kitchen and walked behind the counter. Izuku and The Doctor shoock hands. "Doctor, Makino told me that you have news of Luffy?" The Doctor nodded his head and shook Inbura's hand as well. Everyone in the bar was now paying attention to The Doctor.

"Yes, Luffy's health is good. Nothing terrible is happening to him. It was just when he ate that Devil Fruit his body changed. I could gather that Luffy had grown a little; he could regenerate faster than an average human, and his balance is good because of his tail, which he could use to grab things. Luffy also said he could see in the dark and smell better. Just now, I learned Luffy's taste buds are still the same. I will test his blood to see if anything changed inside his body, but Luffy will figure out more about his new abilities and body independently." The Doctor finished his explanation of what he found.

Everyone looked at Luffy, who was eating. Everyone was glad that Luffy was in excellent health and that nothing terrible happened to him with the changes to his body. Luffy sensed that everyone was staring at him. He looked around, seeing that what he felt was right. "What are you guys staring at me? Did I do something wrong?" Luffy looked puzzled.

Everyone shook their heads. Shanks was the first to speak up. "No, Luffy, we're glad that nothing wrong happened to you with the new changes to your body. At first, I thought you ate a Zoan Devil Fruit, but now you're permanently like that." Shanks said he drank some beer and patted Luffy's back. Everyone nodded there in agreement.

Luffy felt good that everyone was worried about him. But Luffy had one question about what a Zoan Devil Fruit was, so he asked Shanks. "What's a Zoan Devil Fruit?" Makino and Ibara also wanted to know about the Zoan Devil Fruit.

Shanks looked at the three of them. He knew only a few people in the East Blue knew about the Devil Fruits. "I'll explain it, but let's start from the beginning." Shanks started to explain the Devil Fruits, and after an hour of explaining, Luffy, Makino, and Ibara understood a little more about their world.

Luffy looked excited learning about this. "So what kinds are there? Is there one that can turn things into meat from anything, make you fly through the sky, or shoot lasers from your eyes!" Luffy jumped on his seat while his tail swayed back and forth, wanting to see other Devil Fruits users.

Shanks looked at Luffy with a smile. "There's a book about all the Devil Fruits. Izuku sir, is there a library or a book store on this island?" Shanks grabbed his cup of beer and gulped it down. When he was done, he handed his cup to Izuku for a refill.

Izuku grabbed the cup and refilled it. "There is, but it is in the Goa Kingdom. Ibara and I are going there tomorrow to get some supplies. We will pass by there and buy you one, Luffy." Izuku handed the refilled cup up to Shanks.

Luffy looked at Izuku with stars in his eyes and a big smile. "Really, you'll buy the book for me?" Izuku nodded his head.

Ibara chimed in. "Of course, Luffy, we consider you as family," Ibara said with a smile. Makino nodded for confirmation.

Hearing this and seeing their reaction made Luffy happy. Luffy didn't have much for a family. The only family member he knows is his grandpa, Monkey D. Garp, but he always did his Marine things. Luffy only gets to see his grandpa when he is on vacation or has free time. The only thing he knows about his grandpa's work is he's famous for something Luffy never cared to pay much attention to his grandpa's work. Luffy jumped on the counter and stretched both his arms. One went to the left side and the other to the right side. Both grabbed Izuku and Ibara's shoulders and brought them together while Makino was in the middle. Now sandwiched, Luffy gave them a big hug. The family smiled at Luffy. Izuku ruffled Luffy's hair, Ibara patted his back, and Makino kissed his cheek.

"This is nice, but I must return to my office for more research." The Doctor got up from his seat.

Luffy let go of them from the group hug. Izuku gave the Doctor a handshake. "Thank you, Doctor, for helping Luffy. If anything happens, I will let you know." Both let go of the handshake.

Shanks also gave the Doctor a handshake. "Thank you as well for helping out, Luffy." They both let go of the handshake.

Hongo and The Doctor looked at each other, shook hands, and said "Doctor" simultaneously. The Doctor exited the bar to do more research.

Shanks looked at Luffy with a toothy grin. "Luffy, show us what you can do with your Gum-Gum Fruit and that awesome tail." Shanks's crew cheered on Luffy to show them. Makino and her parents also wanted to see it. Luffy jumped off his stole and started to show what he could do with his new abilities.

Next Day.

The Red Hair Pirates left the island early in the morning to continue their adventures. It's been a quiet day for Luffy. He wanted to go to the forest and see what else he could do with his abilities, but Izuku said not to go there for some time. His stomach started to rumble. Luffy walked to his fridge and saw that it was empty. Luffy was no cook, but he knew how to do simple things to make himself something to eat. His grandpa taught him how to cook meat, and Makino taught him some things. Luffy grabbed his basket and some money his grandpa had left for food. He walked out of his little house. Luffy's house was a basic one-bedroom, one bathroom, a kitchen, and a living room. Luffy's grandpa bought it for him. It was almost outside of Foosha Village. Luffy took a deep breath of fresh air and looked around him. It was a windy day. The windmills were spinning, grass and leaves dancing with the wind, birds chirping, and cows mooing. Luffy started to run on the dirt road to buy food for the day.

Entering the market section on the village. Luffy headed to UO to buy fish. Luffy walked up to the store and saw the owner and his wife. "How are you, Luffy? How's that tail of yours? Got used to it." Gyoru, the shop owner said while looking at Luffy's tail. Gyoru's wife, Chicken, was also looking at his tail.

Luffy moved his tail before him and showed it to Gyoru and Chicken. "I've been doing good. I've been having a lot of fun with my tail, trying many things. It's like a third arm or something." Luffy said with a smile and a shrug. Gyoru and Chicken smiled at Luffy.

"That's good to hear, Luffy. What would you like to buy today?" Gyoru asked while sharpening his knives. "I've heard the pirates left you again, Luffy," Gyoru said. Chicken slapped her husband on his arm for saying that. Gyoru had a confused look.

Luffy looked at the fish that were displayed. "I'll like this one, please." Luffy pointed to the glass display of the fish he wanted. Gyoru nodded, took the fish, and started cutting it. "It's okay. I know Shanks will be back," Luffy said confidently. "When he does, he will have no choice and let me join his crew." Said Luffy.

Woop Slap, the Mayor of Foosha Village, was walking around the village and heard what Luffy said. "Luffy, what did I tell you last time of you wanting to become a pirate. If you become a pirate, you'll ruin the village's reputation. You should become a Marine like your Gran-" Luffy Covered both his ears with his fingers, giving the Woop Slap a funny look.

Luffy felt someone tapping his shoulder. He turned and saw Chicken holding a bag of fish. Luffy removed his fingers from his ears. "That will be 500 berrys, please." Luffy searched through his shorts pocket and took out 20 berry coins. Chicken handed the bag of fish to Luffy and gave her the 20 berry coins. "Thank you, Luffy. Would you like anything else?" Chicken asked.

Luffy shook his head. "No, that will be all. Thank you!" Luffy walked off, going to buy some other things on the market. Leaving a Woop Slap still talking.

Sometime later. Luffy arrived at his house. He started to make himself food. When he was done making his food, he began to eat. Done eating, Luffy started to clean his house. Why is Luffy cleaning his house? Because last time, his grandpa came to check on him. Garp saw how messy Luffy's house was. As a Marine, they taught everyone who joined the Marines hygiene, so Garp taught Luffy all about it in his own way. Now, Luffy cleans everything, leaving his place spotless. Luffy didn't want his grandpa to teach him again. After finishing cleaning his house, Luffy had nothing else to do. Luffy headed to his favorite place, Partys Bar.

Location: Partys Bar.

It was empty after arriving at Partys Bar, and Izuku and Ibara weren't there either. The only one in the bar was Makino, who was behind the counter cleaning some cups. Makino noticed Luffy coming in. "Hey Luffy, how's your day going?" Said Makino with a smile.

Luffy walked up to the counter. He climbed up the stool and sat down. "It's been going well, but it's been so boring! I can't go to the forest because your dad said no." Said Luffy in a sad tone, laying his head on the counter and his tail showing his mood, too. Makino looked at Luffy with a smile. She knows that Luffy likes to go to the forest because there's nothing for him to do in the village for fun, but her father told her what happened to Luffy in the forest. It was a good idea for Luffy to stay out of the forest for several days. Makino saw Luffy lift up his head and look at her. "Makino, can I please get apple juice." Makino giggled a little.

Makino grabbed a cup and added three ice cubes, and she poured apple juice into the cup. "Hear you go, Luffy." Makino handed Luffy the cup of apple juice.

Luffy grabbed the cup from Makino's hand. "Thank you! Makino, you are the best." Luffy took a big gulp from his juice. When he was finished with it, he sat the cup down. Luffy had a smile. His tail was wiggling a little. "Man, I do love juice. so tasty and sweet!" Luffy licked his lips.

Makino giggled at Luffy's antics. "You know, Luffy, I thought you'd be more down on what happened last time with the captain and those mountain bandits." Said Makino while putting a cup away.

What Makino said brought back all those memories of what happened when he got his new powers. Luffy's face turned to grumpy. "Oh, that. I forgot everything that had happened before I woke up." Luffy started to play with the cup with his tail. "I overestimated Shanks. I thought he was a tough pirate. Not taking shit from anybody. Shanks was a disappointment." Said Luffy with a pissed-off tone. He grabbed the cup that he was playing with his tail and sat it down on the counter. Then Luffy felt a rag hit his head. Luffy looked up and saw a stern look from Makino. "What was that for!?" Said Luffy with an annoyed tone, rubbing his head. It didn't hurt, but Luffy didn't like it.

Luffy knew that look. She'd give him a look and talk whenever he did something wrong. "Luffy, what did I tell you about saying bad words? You're just a kid." Said Makino with a stern tone. She neatly folded the rag on the counter. "I thought it was pretty brave. People could laugh it off after getting picked on or getting wet after someone poured their drink on them. It's like you are the bigger man and an adult." Said Makino with a smile. Makino wanted to see if what she said got to Luffy.

Luffy gave Makino a reaction that gave her a tick mark on her forehead. She grabbed the rag she neatly folded and hit Luffy on his head. Luffy's tail shot up in annoyance. "You don't understand Makino. There are times when a man should fight back!" Said Luffy, crossing his arms and legs and puffing his chest.

Makino just sighed. "I guess I don't know anything then." Said Makino with a sad tone.

"That's right, you don't." Said Luffy in a whisper.

Makino heard it and was about to hit him again with the rag, but she heard the doors open from the bar. Luffy felt shivers run down his body to his tail. Makino and Luffy turned and saw the mountain bandits.

The leader of the mountain bandits scanned the bar, skipping over Luffy. "Well, looks like the circus isn't here today." The leader sat at one of the tables, and his goons followed and waited to be serviced. "What are you waiting for!? We're customers! Bring us some sake and beer! The bandit leader demanded.

Makino jumped a little and hurriedly poured sake into cups. When she gave everyone their drinks, one bandit spoke. "Hey, you guys! Do you remember the expression on those pirates' faces the other day! It was hilarious!" Every bandit started to laugh. One other bandit chimed in. "Ya! Their captain didn't even say or do anything after getting wet by sake! What a pussy bitch! His crew is just like him as well. They didn't even help their captain out!" Once again, all the bandits laughed.

Then, the bandit leader spoke up. "When I see a chicken or a cowered like that. It just makes me so mad. I really wanted to kill him right there." He took his cup of sake and chugged it down. He sat the cup down and continued to talk. "Pirates only know two things: run away or act cool." All the bandits agreed, and some laughed at what the leader said.

Luffy was angry at how they talked about Shanks and his crew. Luffy jumped off his seat, landing on the wooden floor with his two feet. He yelled at the mountain bandits. "SHUT UP! DON'T UNDERESTIMATE SHANKS AND HIS CREW! THEY ARE NOT COWARDS!" Luffy saw Makino shaking her head, meaning he should stop.

"Huh!?" The bandit leader turned to Luffy, looking annoyed.

Then, one of the bandits talked to "ease" the tension. "Calmed down, kid; why don't you run home to mommy and let the grown-ups have fun." Said the bandit. Said the bandit, pinching Makino's butt cheek, making her jump. Makino was so embarrassed she was about to cry.

Seeing what that bandit did to Makino made something snap inside Luffy. The spikes from his tail started to pulse blue while his eyes did the same; Luffy was letting a rumbling sound from his body. What Luffy was doing was intimidating the bandits. Luffy started to run at the bandit that pinched Makino's butt. When Luffy was about to get close to the bandit, Luffy jumped and spun around, extending his tail and hitting the bandit straight in the head, knocking him out of his chair. Luffy's tail retracted back to him. Luffy turned around and looked at the other bandits.

Luffy stood up in front of Makino protectively. Makino was shocked, seeing what Luffy did for her and what his body was doing. Seeing Luffy like this made Makino blush slightly.

The mountain bandit leader got up from his seat and stared at Luffy. "What the fuck you think you are, you piece of shit, for hurting one of my men!" The rest of the bandits got up from their seats as well.

Luffy's body did the same thing again. Pulsing blue while he was making a rumbling noise in his body. He didn't like what the bandit did to Makino. Seeing these bandits in front of him gave him a nasty feeling in his stomach.

Sometime Later.

Makino was running down through Foosha Village. She had one destination: the mayor's house/Office. Makino burst through the doors, seeing the mayor drinking his tea. "Mayor! Luffy is in trouble!" Makino yelled in panic. She was catching her breath from the running.

Woop Slap was so startled by Makino's entrance that he almost spilled his tea. "What's wrong, Makino? Did something happen to Luffy?" Woop Slap said, drinking his tea.

Makino nodded her head rapidly. "Luffy was kidnapped by the bandits!" Makino was shaking in fear. She never thought today was going to end up like this.

Woop Slap looked at Makino and saw how she was shaking. He got up from his seat and started walking out of his house. "Come, Makino, tell me what happened to Luffy to get kidnapped." Both began to run in the direction where Luffy was, Makino leading the mayor.

"I don't know what happened. Everything happened too fast. The mountain bandits came into the bar to drink and talked terrible things about the captain and his crew. Luffy got angry at them but got angrier when a bandit touched my butt. Luffy attacked the bandit who touched me." Just remembering that bandit touching her gave her chills and disgust.

Hearing what a bandit did to Makino made Woop Slap angry. He doesn't want anything wrong to happen to his village and people. "Those disgusting pieces of shit!" Said Woop Slap angrily. "I'm happy that Luffy did that to that bandit, but we need to know if he's okay because those bandits don't care who they kill." Makino nodded to the mayor. They were getting closer to the bandits. They saw the bandits' leader holding Luffy by his tail while tangling upside down and saying something.

"What an interesting body you have, kid. Who would've thought such a thing existed in this world? Of course, there are different races I've seen in books, but you are the first." Then he got a brilliant idea. "What if I sell you to the Celestial Dragons. I can become rich! Set for life!" The leader started to luaghf maniacal.

Villagers stared out their windows, seeing what the bandits were doing to Luffy. Some villagers were trying to send their husbands, brothers, and fathers to intervene with the bandits and help Luffy, but none wanted to go because they were dangerous and would've died if they had said anything.

"Damn, it! You bastard, apologize to Makino and Shanks and his crew!" Luffy readied a punch. "GUM-GUM PISTOl!" But the bandit moved his head to the left, making Luffy miss his punch. Then the bandit started to swing Luffy by his tail two times, letting go of his tail and sending Luffy bouncing on the dirt road. "Damn it, You'll be sorry for this!" Luffy saw a plank of wood in the corner of his eye. Luffy grabbed the plank and ran at the bandit leader, ready to strike.

"What a strong brat!" When Luffy was close, the bandit lifted his leg and slammed Luffy's head on the ground with his foot. "We were just having a good time drinking and talking. Did we say something that piss you off?" The bandit leader added pressure on Luffy's head.

Luffy felt pain in his head. "Yes, you did! Apologize right now to Makino and Shanks and his crew!" Luffy felt more pressure being added to his head. "Move your damn foot!" Luffy was slamming his hands on the ground. Luffy was about to use his tail to smack the bandit's foot off his head, but Luffy felt pain run through his body. Another foot from a bandit slammed their foot on his tail. This caused a lot of pain to run through Luffy's body, and he cried out. "AAAAAAAAAA!". Villagers could watch in horror at what they were doing to Luffy.

The bandit squishing Luffy's tail with his foot was scraping it on the ground. "You dumb kid, you thought you were slike to sneak attack our leader with this nasty thing!" The bandit laughed, seeing Luffy cry in pain.

"LET THE CHILD GO, PLEASE!" Woop Slap yelled at the bandits. Makino was next to him, looking worried for Luffy's safety. All the bandits turned to look at Woop Slap. Woop Slap got on his knees and bowed down. "Please let Luffy go! I don't want to argue with you. But I'm willing to pay for Luffy's safety!" Woop Slap begged.

"Mayor!" Luffy looked at the mayor in surprise.

The bandit leader giggled a little. "As expected, the elders know how to handle any situation properly. The oldest generation may know the way of the world better than we all. But it's too late! You cant save this little shit who messed with us in the first place. Your money won't help this thing. I'll sell him and become rich!" Said the bandit leader with an evil smile.

"Get off of me, you wild baboon, you stink!" Yelled Luffy.

The bandit got a tick mark on his forehead. "Fine, I'm not gonna sell you. I'll kill you instead." The bandit leader took his sword and aimed it at Luffy's head.

Makino watched in horror. "LUFFY!" She couldn't do anything except close her eyes.

Once again, the mayor pleaded. "PL-PLEASE! LET HIM GO!" Looking in horror at what the bandit was going to do to Luffy.

"I was wondering why no one welcomed us at the port." Makino and Woop Slap jumped a little. They both turned their heads to see Shanks and his crew. Standing there in the middle of them. Shanks looked at the bandits and Luffy. "So this is why. Hey, you guys are the bandits from the other day!" Shanks had a smile on his face. Makino and Woop Slap saw Shanks starting to walk up to the bandits. "Luffy! What's wrong? You said your punches are as strong as a pistol?" Shanks smiled at Luffy.

"SHUT UP!"

"Pirates... Just now, showing your faces? Have you been spending all this time scrubbing the whole village and entertaining the villagers? I suggest you leave right now. If you get any closer, I might have to open fire, you cowards." The bandit leader single to one of the bandits, who was the one that touched Makino's butt and the one Luffy knocked out.

"Didn't you hear!? You were told not to get any closer! Do you want a bullet in your head! That's up to you, my friend." The bandit laughed while having a pistol at Shanks's head.

Shanks's straw hat shadowed his eyes. "Would you risk your life now that you've drawn your pistol? Are you willing to use it?" Said a calm Shanks.

The bandit looked dumbfounded. "What the fuck are you talking about!?"

Shanks turned to look at the bandit and pointed at the pistol. "I'm saying that guns aren't for threats. They're for action." With those final words, the bandit got shot right in the head by Roux, who was eating a piece of meat. Everyone looked shocked at what had just happened except the Red Hair Pirates.

One of the bandits spoke up. "You're a dead man!" and another spoke up, "These guys fight dirty!" All the bandits readied their weapons.

Yasopp looked at the bandits as if they were stupid. "Dirty?"

"Don't make us laugh. Who did you think you were dealing with? We never claimed to be saints or anything." Said Beckman while taking a big whiff of his cigarette.

"You fellas are staring down a crew of pirates." Said Shanks.

"Shut up! This is none of your business. We just want the boy!" One bandit said.

"Listen well, bandits. Whether I'm sprayed with alcohol or doused with food, hell, even if I get spit on most of the time, I'll laugh it off and forget about it, but... If you hurt a friend of mine, you'll pay for it regardless of your reason." Said Shanks, threatening the bandits.

Luffy was inspired by Shanks's words. "Shanks," Luffy said in a whisper.

The leader of the bandits chuckled at Shanks's threat. "So we're gonna pay?" The bandit pointed his sword at Shanks and his crew. "Lousy pirates! Kill them all!" All the bandits started to march forward to attack the pirates.

The Red Hair Pirates prepare to fight the bandits. Roux smacked a bandit with his gun and hit another one with the Piece of meat he was eating. He was about to bite his food but noticed it was dirty. "Why the fuck did I do that!" A bandit saw this opportunity and jumped at the back of Roux. Roux looked at the bandit and started hitting him with ruined meat. "You nasty asses ruined my food!" But the bandit wouldn't let go.

Yasopp saw Roux struggling with the bandit on his back. Yasopp was about to shoot the bandit, but they moved too much. Yasopp looked around for a good shot. He aimed his pistol at one of the bandit's swords and fired the bullet, hitting the blade, ricocheting off it, and knocking it out of the bandit's hand. The sword stabbed through a bandit's head, killing him. The bullet hit the bandit head who was holding Roux, killing him. Roux gave Yasopp a toothy grin and a thumbs up. Roux turned around and grabbed a bandit's head with his hands. The bandit started to swing, trying to hit Roux. Roux held the bandit's hand and twisted it, letting him release the sword. Roux slammed the bandit's head to the ground, killing him.

A bandit was charging at Beckman. The bandit was about to swing his sword, but Beckman stuck his cigarette at the bandit's left eye, making an sssssttt sound. The bandit released the blade and covered his left eye while screaming in pain. Beckman tuned his flintlock rifle to the stock side. Beckman got to potation to swing, putting his strength into the rifle. He swung his rifle straight to the bandit's head and hit the bandit. Sending him flying. Two more were coming. Beckmen hit the bandit straight to the face with the stock, breaking the bandit's nose. Beckmen turned his rifle, aiming his barrel at the bandit's head and shooting him.

In a minute, the Red Hair Parits killed all the bandits. Only leaving the leader who was shaking in fear. Everyone looked at the Red Hair Parits in amazement. Beckmen aimed his rifle at the leader of the bandit. "If you want to fight us. You better get a fleet of Marines to back you up." Beckman took out a cigarette and started to smoke again.

The bandit leader was shaking. "W-w-wait a minute! This little shit messed with us first!"

"Did you forget what I said? It doesn't matter. After all, there's a reward on your head." Shanks started to walk up to the bandit leader. The bandit leader looked at Shanks, and seeing his eyes, he knew death awaited him. Thinking fast, the bandit leader took out a ball and threw it on the ground, releasing a cloud of smoke. The bandit action surprised Makino, Woopslap, and The Red Hair Pirates. "SMOKE BOMB!" Shanks yelled out.

"Come with me, brat!" The bandit grabbed Luffy by his tail and started to drag him around.

Luffy screamed in pain. His tail was still sensitive to the pain the other bandit did to his tail. "Let go of me! Shanks!" The bandit kept pulling Luffy.

When the smoke bomb started to clear out, the bandit was gone with Luffy. "Luffy!" Shanks yelled Luffy's name. Shanks began to panic. "OH NO! I got careless! They took Luffy! What should we do!?" Shanks was looking around, trying to see if they were close.

Roux also panicked a little because of Shanks. "Captain! Calm down; don't panic! Let's split up and find Luffy!"

"I'm not panicking, you're panicking!" Shanks stopped in his tracks, took a deep breath, and calmed down. "Okay, let's split up and look for Luffy! We'll gata be fast! We don't know what that bandit will do to Luffy!" Shanks ordered his crew.

"Ayay, captain!" All of the crew started to split up.

The only ones left were Shanks, Makino, and Woop Slap. Shanks looked at Makino, who looked at the spot Luffy was. Shanks walked up to Makino and put his hand on her shoulder. Makino looked at Shanks; he gave her a reassuring smile. "Everything is going to be okay, Makino. I bet Luffy is making that bandit regret taking him with him." Hearing what Shanks said, Makino nodded and smiled. Shanks looked at the mayor and bowed. "Sorry for the mess. We'll clean this up when we find Luffy."

Woop Slap shook his head. "It is all right. Who knows what they would have done if they weren't stopped, but please save Luffy. Luffy was just defending Makino." Shanks looked at Woop Slap with a confused look. Woop Slap looked at Makino, who gave him the okay to discuss it. "One of the bandits touched Makino. Makino said that's when Luffy started to attack the bandits." Said Woop Slap.

Shanks looked at the dead bodies of the bandits in disgust. "Good, we killed them then." Shanks looked at both Makino and the mayor. "Anything else?"

Makino nodded and talked of what had happened.

Location: Dawn Island waters near Fosha Village.

Luffy and the bandit were on a small boat. Luffy was looking around the open sea. He was trapped in a small boat and couldn't do anything. "HA HA HA HA! Looks like we got away. No one will think to search for a mountain bandit in the sea!" The bandit looked at Luffy, and Luffy looked at him. "Well, I only used you as a hostage. But you're useless now."

Luffy got angry. "Go to hell! "GUM-GUM PISTOL!" Luffy sends a punch to the bandit but dodges.

"So long." The bandit kicked Luffy off the small boat, sending Luffy to the blue seas.

In Luffy's point of view, everything around him went in slow motion. He saw the bandit laughing. "Damit, I'm going to die! Stupid bandits talking shit about my friends and touching Makino! At least a nocked that bandit who touched Makino and now is dead thanks to Roux."Luffy felt the water hit him and consume him. Luffy felt weak; he didn't have the strength to move his body. Then it hit him. "Why am I not drowning? I'm I talking underwater, too?" Luffy turned his head around, seeing the dark felt the water go by him. He was sinking. Luffy closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Luffy felt the water go between his neck. He moved his hand to his neck and felt his gills. "This feels weird." Then Luffy heard a voice. It was getting closer.

"Today is my lucky day. This human on the boat will be a good snack."

Luffy turned his head to where the voice was coming from and got scared seeing the sea king, the lord of the coast, heading straight to the bandit boat. The sea king ate the whole boat with one bite, killing the bandit. Luffy then felt a pair of arms holding him and bringing him to the surface. Luffy looked at the person, bringing him back to the surface level. Was Shanks. "Shanks!?" Luffy yelled, making Shanks look at Luffy in surprise. Both reached the surface. Shanks helped Luffy on the boat he took to rescue him.

Shanks climbed up the boat and looked at Luffy. "Luffy! Did you just speak underwater!?" Luffy nodded his head. "How? You would've drowned when you opened your mouth, but you're okay." Shanks sat down, looking at Luffy in amazement.

"I don't know. I felt weak in the water but noticed I wasn't drowning, could talk underwater, and had gills like a fish! It felt weird to breathe underwater." Said Luffy. Then Luffy heard that voice again. It was the sea king. The sea king popped out of the water. Shanks got up and looked at the sea king. Shanks moved Luffy behind him. The sea king then attacked. Luffy closed his eyes, awaiting his death. But nothing happened. Luffy opened his eyes, seeing everything was okay. Luffy looked at Shanks back, who was staring at the sea king.

"Get lost!" with those two words, the sea king left running.

Luffy looked at Shanks in amazement. Luffy smelled blood. He smelled around, and the source of the smell was coming from Shanks. Luffy shanking walked in front of Shanks and saw his left arm was missing. "SH-SH-Shanks your arm! Your arm!" Luffy screamed in horror. Shanks lost his left arm, protecting him.

Shanks gave Luffy a hug with his right arm. Luffy started to cry on his chest. "It's okay, Luffy. It was just an arm. I've got another one. Makino told me everything about what happened with you and the bandits. I'm in your debt, Luffy." Luffy kept crying. "You can't cry. You're a man now. You defended Makino from those bandits and stuck up for us." Luffy kept crying. Shanks patted Luffy's head. "Glad you're all right." Shanks heard his name being called. He turned his head and saw Yasopp, Benn, and Hongo on a small boat coming to pick him and Luffy up.

Location: Foosha Village.

Back on land, The Red Hair Pirates readded their ship for the grand line.

"You're really leaving this time?" Luffy looked at Shanks.

Shanks was commanding his crew, telling them to pick up the pace. "Yep! We've stayed here long enough. It's about time we move on." Shanks looked at Luffy. "Are you upset?" Said Shanks, looking to see if Luffy would ask him if he could join them.

"Yea... But I won't force you to take me along anymore. I'll become a pirate by myself." Said Luffy with a proud smile.

"Heh, I wouldn't take you even if you begged me. You don't have what it takes to become a pirate!" Shanks started to laugh.

Luffy got pissed at what Shanks said to him. "Yes, I do! One day, I'll gather a crew that is as better than yours! And then I'll find the One Piece and become the king of the pirates!" Luffy declared. All the Red Hair Pirates smiled at Luffy.

"You think you'll surpass us?" Shanks looked up at his straw hat. "In that case," Shanks removed his straw hat and put it on Luffy's head. "I'll leave this hat to you. It means more to me in the whole world. You better take care of it, you hear me." Luffy started to cry. "I want you to bring this hat to me someday in good condition. Only once have you become a great pirate. That's our promise, Luffy." Shanks began to walk to his ship. Walking by Beckman

"That kid gonna make something of himself." Said Beckman.

"Yeah... He acts just like I did when I was a kid." Shanks got onboard his ship and started to command his crew. "All right, men, weigh the anchor, raise the sails, and set sail!" The crew did what their captain ordered.

The village was saying goodbye to the Red Hair Pirates while they did the same. Makino was behind Luffy with her hand on each of Luffy's shoulders. Luffy, holding his straw hat, sees Shanks's ship in the distance, turning smaller and smaller as it gets further away from them.

Makino looked at Luffy, who was holding Shanks's straw hat, which is now Luffy's hat, looking in the distance. "You'll see the captain again one of these days, Luffy." Said Makino.

Looking in the distance, Luffy put the straw hat on his head. "You're right, Makino. I'll see Shanks again, but I must become a great pirate first. That is the promise we made." Luffy said to Makino. Makino smiled at Luffy. Both started to walk back to Partys Bar.

Location: The Red Hair Pirates ship.

The Red Hair Pirates were heading to the grand line. They have everything to start their great adventure. Shanks and Beckman were talking to each other and discussing things.

Yasopp walked up to both men, grabbing their attention. "Captain, I'd like to ask a huge favor. Can we pass by Gecko Island? I'd like to see my family before we go to the grand line." Yasopp even bowed for Shanks, wishing the captain would say yes.

Shanks and Beckman looked at each other, and both gave each other a smile. Shanks put his right arm on Yasopp's shoulder. Yasopp looked at Shanks. "Of course, we can pass by Gecko Island. Don't want to leave your wife and son without saying goodbye." Said Shanks with a smile.

Yasopp was about to cry and scream in excitement but held it in. "Thank you, captain!" Yasopp and Shanks shook hands.

Location: Forest Two Months.

Two months have passed since the Red Hair Pirates left Foosha Village to continue their adventures. Luffy was in the forest practicing new moves he invented and improving ones. "GUM-GUM PISTOL!" Luffy shot his hand at a tree but missed. Luffy needed to improve at using that move but still needed more practice. "GUM-GUM TAIL SWIPE!" Luffy spun around, extending his tail and hitting the tree's bottom. Luffy's tail retracted back to Luffy. That was an easy and straightforward move to use. Luffy extended his arm to a tree branch and lifted himself up. High enough, Luffy let go of the branch and spun around so fast that he looked like a human tire wheel, his straw hat flying off of him. "GUM-GUM TAIL WHIP!" Luffy extends his tail and is about to hit a rock like a whip but completely misses it. Luffy slammed the ground, rolling a little and landing on his back.

Luffy looked up at the blue sky. He took a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air. Luffy saw his straw hat dancing with the wind. The straw hat landed on his face. Luffy grabbed the straw hat, put it on his head, and looked around his training place. "Welp, that's enough training for today. Time to take a shower and head to Partys Bar." Luffy started to walk back to his house.

Location: Luffy house.

Luffy got out of the shower feeling refreshed. He started to get dressed. Finishing, he felt a little tired. Completing your training and showering afterward puts you in a sleepy mood. "Sleep later; food first!" Luffy grabbed the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia book Makino's parents bought for him and ran out of his house, heading straight to Partys Bar.

Location: Partys Bar.

Luffy entered the bar, seeing it was a slow day for Izuku, Ibara, and Makino. Luffy walked up to the bar counter. He threw his book on top of the counter and started climbing up the stool chair, using his tail to support and pushing himself to the top. Luffy sat down, opened his book, and waited patiently for Makino. A few minutes later, Makino emerges from the kitchen holding customer orders. She goes around the bar, giving customers their meals. Makino notices Luffy sitting patiently reading his book. She walks up to Luffy from behind and gives him a hug.

"How are you, Luffy. How was your training?" Said Makino while giving Luffy a tighter hug.

Luffy squirmed a little in the tight hug. "I'm doing okay; I practiced two new moves when I was done training and showered." Luffy Informed Makino. Luffy noticed that Makino was hugging him a little tighter. "Um, Makino, you hugging me too tight. I can't breathe." Said Luffy, tapping her arm.

Makino let go of the hug, and she let out a small chuckle. "Sorry Luffy. I just like hugging you so tightly sometimes." Said Makino with a smile. Then Luffy's stomach started to rumble. Makino giggled. "So, Luffy, what would you like to eat today?" Makino waited for Luffy's answer.

Luffy sat his book down and started to think about what to eat. 'I don't know what I want to eat.' Luffy looked at Makino. "I don't know what I want to eat, but I know what you make will be delicious." Said Luffy with a big smile. His stomach rumbled once more; thinking and talking about food made him hungry.

Makino smiled at the compliment Luffy gave her. "Alright then, I'll be back with your food." Makino walked inside the kitchen and started to make something for Luffy. Luffy went back to his book.

Izuku came out from the kitchen, carrying a crate to the counter. Laying the crate down, he greeted Luffy. "How are you, Luffy. Would you like to continue your swimming practice?" Izuku asked Luffy while restocking the shelves with alcohol.

Luffy looked up from his book. "I'm doing okay." Said Luffy with a smile, but his smile disappeared, and his facial expression changed to a quizzical look. "I want to continue practicing swimming, but I hate feeling weak by touching the water." Said Luffy to Isuku.

Izuku put the last bottle of alcohol on the shelf. He turned around and looked at Luffy. "Luffy, right now, you can last two minutes on the water and underwater before losing your ability to swim. The Doctor and I talked about this, and we devised a theory. Your body will resist the curse if you are more on the seawater." Izuku explains to Luffy. Luffy needed clarification about what Izuku said. Izuku sighed and explained to him a little better.

A little time later, Makino came out with Luffy's food. Luffy looked at the plate of food, seeing a big piece of steak with mashed potatoes with gravy, peas, carrots, and broccoli. Luffy had stars in his eyes, and his mouth was watering. Makino set the plate before Luffy and handed him a fork and a knife. Luffy grabbed both utensils. "I hope you enjoy your food, Luffy. If you want more, feel free to ask." Makino said with a smile.

Luffy started to eat. First, he mixed the mashed potato with the vegetables. Now, the main course of his desire is the steak. Luffy cut a piece and put it in his mouth; his taste buds were dancing. Luffy scooped mashed potato mixed with the vegetables and shoved it into his mouth. Makino and Izuku saw Luffy's tail swinging around. He also has a big smile while eating.

Luffy swallowed his food. "Makino, can I get something to drink?" Luffy felt that he missed something with his food, and it was soda.

Makino grabbed a cold glass bottle of soda. She opened it and gave it to Luffy. "Here you go, Luffy. So how's my cooking Luffy? Are you enjoying it?" Makino already knew the answer because of Luffy's body language, but she wanted to hear it from Luffy.

Luffy had a mouth full of food. "Yesh, veryf goom." Luffy gave Makino a thumbs up, showing that he loved her cooking.

Makino giggled. "Good to hear it, but don't talk with your mouth full; it is not polite." Said Makino. She went back to the kitchen.

Some time passed, and Luffy finished his food and returned to his book. Then they heard a bell ring. Luffy jumped from his seat and ran out of the bar to see who it was.

Location: Foosha Village docks.

Luffy was getting close to the docks when he saw a Navy ship with a figurehead shaped like a dog head. Luffy knew that was his grandpa's ship. Garp's ship was docking. Luffy looked at the ship in awe. It was a big and tall ship. Just looking up, he felt he would get crushed by the dog's head. The ship lowered a plank of wood to the docks. Some of the marine's soldiers were the first to get off and stood in line in formation. Then Garp came down wearing a black suit, white dress shirt, and black dress shoes. With him was his right-hand man Bogard.

"At ease. Bogard, I'll be back in a bit. I need to check on my grandson. Tell the men they can stretch and walk around the village but must be close to the ship when we leave." Said Garp, walking off the docks. Bogard gave a nod to Garp and started to order the men.

Luffy saw his grandpa and started to run at him. "Grandpa!" Luffy screamed at his grandpa. Luffy jumped and gave him a big hug. Luffy loves his grandpa very much, though sometimes, his grandpa is hard on him.

Garp also gave Luffy a big hug. Garp noticed something different from Luffy; he saw a tail. 'Luffy never had a tail?" Garp grabbed Luffy's tail and stretched it.

"Owww, stop it, it hurts!" Luffy cried in pain

Garp freaked out. He pulled Luffy off him by Luffy's shirt and held Luffy by his shirt. Luffy was hanging and looked at his grandpa with a pissed-off look. Garp needed an explanation of what had happened to Luffy. Garp marched to Partys Bar to talk to Izuku.

Location: Partys Bar.

Garp burst through the door, startling everyone inside. Garp saw Makino behind the counter. Makino was about to greet Garp, but he spoke before her. "Makino, I need to speak with your father about what has happened to Luffy!" Makino looked dumbfounded; she didn't know where to go but headed to the kitchen to fetch her dad.

"DAD! Garp wants to talk to you about Luffy!" You could hear Makino tell Izuku that Garp needed to speak to him. There was some scrambling in the kitchen. The kitchen door burst open, and Izuku came out with Ibara and Makino.

"Hey, Garp, how have you been? It's been a while since we saw you." Izuku was sweating. Izuku was a marine before. Izuku worked with Garp he was a soldier, and Garp was his captain. He fought dangerous people, but facing a Garp, a Marine vice admiral, was more scary. Ibara had never seen her husband this scared before.

Garp put one hand up, telling him to stop talking. "Explain to me what happened to Luffy." Said Garp with a commanding tone. Izuku straightened up and saluted. "Sir!" and started to explain what had happened to Luffy.

An hour of explanation. Garped was wide-eyed after learning this. Izuku, Ibara, Makino, Garp, and Luffy sat around a table. Luffy was sitting on Makino's lap while she hugged him. Izuku poured a glass of whiskey to Garp, who just gulped it down. "I left Luffy in your care so you can teach him how to become a great marine." Said Garp, who took another shot of whiskey.

"With all due respect, Garp. I can't change Luffy's mind to become a Marine. He's set to become a pirate. Luffy won't become one of those pirates trashing islands and harassing people. Shanks had a positive effect on Luffy. Luffy wants to have an adventure around the world. He doesn't want someone ordering him around and telling him what and where to go." Izuku took a break from talking, poured a drink for himself, drank it, and continued to speak. "The only thing I taught and am now teaching Luffy is how to swim and some other things, but Makino also taught Luffy things too." Izuku finished talking. He continued to drink.

Garp had a puzzled look. "You teaching Luffy how to swim? How the curse of the Devile Frute takes away the user's ability to swim." Garp needed clarification of what Izuku said.

"Will that's another thing also. The Doctor and I will talk to you about it later." Said Izuku.

"All right then." Garp looked at Makino and thanked her. "Thank you, Makino, for also teaching Luffy." Garp thanked Makino.

Makino smiled and hugged Luffy tighter. "It was no problem at all. I love Luffy. It's always fun when he's around. It was a little hard, but it all worked." Said Makino with a smile. She kissed Luffy on top of his head. Luffy taps Makino's hand to loosen her bear hug.

Ibara smiled, seeing Makino and Luffy's interaction. She got up from her seat. "Okay, I'm getting a little hungry. Who's hungry?" Everyone raised their hands.

"Okay, then Ibara and I will make the food." Said Izuku. Izuku and Ibara went to the kitchen to start making food.

Garp went them. He made sure that they were alone. "I'd like to thank you both for caring for Luffy while I worked the past years." Garp bowed in respect for taking care of his grandson. Garp stopped bowing and stood straight. "I'll be taking Luffy to the mountains to live there with people. It would be better if he's there. I don't want another pirate to influence him." Garp informed Izuku, and Ibara both looked shocked at what he said.

"Are you sure about that Garp? The mountains are dangerous for a normal person, even a kid." Izuku knew what he was talking about. Garp only trusted the Izuku family and the people taking care of the secret in the mountains.

"I agree with my husband, Garp. They know how to survive up there, but Luffy never set foot there before. Luffy is not accustomed to living there." Said a worried Ibara. Ibara and Izuku saw Luffy as a son. They didn't want anything bad to happen to Luffy.

"I understand your worries, but Luffy will get used to it. I always take him up there when I'm here so I can train him." Garp started to laugh. "So what are we having to eat?" Said Garp, he was feeling starving.

Izuku and Ibara both sighed, knowing it was the conversation's end.

Location: Mt. Colubo.

Sometime later, after finishing eating, Garp told Luffy to get ready to head to the mountains. Luffy thought it would be another training with his grandpa, but no, Izuku, Ibara, and Makino were saying goodbye to him. Izuku gave Luffy a hug and wished him good luck. Ibara hugged him and prayed to god to watch over Luffy and protect him. Makino was crying; she gave Luffy the hug she always gives him. Luffy's head between her breasts with a tight hug with instincts. Luffy hugged her, too.

Now Luffy was struggling against his grandpa's grip on him. Garp told Luffy he would live with some friends to become a great marine. Luffy didn't like that idea, so he hit his grandpa with a mighty hit.

"I don't want to become a marine! Pirates are way cooler than a bunch of dumb Marines! I don't want to stay there. I want to stay in the village with Makino and her family!" Luffy started to hit his grandpa's side stomach with no effect.

"What! Do I look like I care what you say! You and two other kids will become fine Marines, do you understand that!? Garp pitched Luffy's cheek a little harder, making Luffy cry in pain.

"Grandpa! That hurts! You suck, Grandpa!" Said Luffy, still trying to set himself free.

"I left you in a lovely village with people who would care for you and keep you safe when I'm not here. But pirates won't be satisfied until they get their grubby hands on everything. I forbid you to associate with that Red Hair Shanks; he is a terrible influence." Garped kept walking to the destination where he was going to leave Luffy.

Luffy wrapped his arms, legs, and tail around a tree to stop his grandpa, but he kept walking, stretching his cheek further. "Nuh-uh, Shanks is awesome!" Luffy then felt his body retracting back together. He saw everything around him go so fast that he heard his grandpa grunt in pain, letting go of Luffy. Luffy turned and looked at his grandpa. "I'm gonna be just like him!" Said Luffy.

"Oh yeah?!" Shouted Garp.

Arriving at Garp's friend's house, he knocked on the door without stopping. Luffy looked around at his new surroundings and started to explore the area. Then, a big orange-haired woman opened the door and started screaming at the person knocking on her door with her eyes closed.

"Hey, stop fucking knocking on my door so many times I fucking heard it. Just three knocks would be enough!"

"Dadan!"

"Huh?!" Dadan opens her eyes and shrieks, stumbling back words. "Garp! What are you doing here?!" Then, two men came behind her. They heard Garp's name and came to check for confirmation. They were shocked at seeing him again.

"Charming as ever." Said Garp sarcastically.

"Sorry for the cold welcome, but I hope you don't have a ridiculous favor to ask us. You realize that it's been ten years that you haven't been here. Ace and Anne are ten now." Dadan informed Garp.

"Really? It's been that long. How are they, and how is Rouge? Is she doing okay?" Said Garp while Luffy was running around.

One of the men, named Dogra, spoke. "They have been a handful. It's good that their mom is always around because they behave well with her." Said Dogra.

"That's good to hear. Where are the kids now?" Garp wants to know so he can say hi to them.

Magra spoke up. "Rouge is in the kitchen preparing dinner, and Ace and Anne are playing somewhere." Magra informed Garp. Luffy was running around in a circle and making a lot of noise. It was getting annoying for Dadan.

"While we're in the topic, talking about the kids. Would you shut that kid up, and who is he?" Dadan yelled.

Garp grabbed Luffy from his shirt and lifted him to show to the bandits. "Will, this is why I came up here. I want you to take care of my grandson, Luffy. He's your responsibility now. Hey Luffy, say hi." Garp stretched his arm for Luffy to greet the bandit.

"Yo!" that was it. Garp let Luffy go, who started to wander around.

"WHAT!" The three bandits yelled simultaneously.

Then the door flung open with Rouge holding a broom with her hands ready to attack. She is wearing a black t-shirt, cargo shorts, and an apron. Rouge noticed Garp. "Oh, hello, Garp; it's been a while since we've seen each other. How have you been." Rouge gave Garp a smile.

"I've been doing good. How about you, Rouge, enjoying life with your kids?" Said, Garp.

"Yes, I'm enjoying it. It's nice to be with my kids. They can be a handful but are my pride and joy in this world." She then noticed Luffy, who was picking his nose. "I'm guessing this is your grandson you guys were screaming about, Garp." She walked up to Luffy and crouched down to Luffy's head level.

Luffy looked at her in awe. 'She's beautiful!'

Rouge gave Luffy a warm smile. "Hello there, what's your name?"

Luffy blushed a little and gave a toothy grin. "I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I have a tail!" Luffy presented himself and showed his tail to Rouge.

Rouge looked at the tail in amazement. "That's your tail; it looks so cute! You eat a Devil Fruit; what kind did you eat? Oh, and my name is Portgas D. Rouge." Rouge looked at Luffy, who brought his tail close to him and hugged it. Luffy liked the compliment. 'He looks so cute!' Thought Rouge.

Luffy stopped hugging his tail and looked at Rouge in surprise. "Wow, it's almost like we have the same last name!" Luffy's eyes sparkled in aww. Rouge giggled at his comment. Luffy smiled. "The Devil Fruit I ate is the GUM-GUM Fruit. I can stretch my whole body." Luffy showed Rouge by stretching his cheeks.

Rouge gave Luffy a questionable look. "GUM-GUM Fruit? That doesn't explain your tail." Luffy was about to tell her, but Garp stopped him.

"That's for another time. I must return to work. Rouge, can you help Dadan take care of Luffy?" Dadan was about to speak out, but Garp gave her a look that made her shiver in fear.

Dadan nodded. "No problem, Garp. We will take care of him. He'll feel like we're family!" Dadan was sweating bullets, while Dogra and Magra were the same. They didn't want to feel Garp's wrath. Luffy got distracted by two dragonflies and started to chase after them.

Luffy was focused on the two Dragonflies and started to chase them. While chasing the dragonflies, Luffy felt something wet hit his cheek. Luffy stopped running and touched his cheek. "What the hell? Eww! It's spit! Who spit on me!" Luffy looked around and saw a boy standing on top of a rock with a girl beside him. Both were holding a long pipe. The shade of the tree blocked the sun. Luffy couldn't see their faces. Luffy walked up to the two of them. "Hey! Which one of you spit on me! You better apologize to me!" Luffy was ready to throw hands if they didn't apologize.

Garp saw Luffy screaming at both Ace and Anne. He walked up to Luffy and started to introduce to both of them. "Luffy, I'd like to introduce Ace and Anne; there are Rouge kids, and they are three years older than you. Ace and Anne, this is my grandson Luffy." Both kids looked at each other. "All right, time to head the road. I'll stop by again when I have time. Oh, and here is some money, Rouge." Garp handed a bag of money to Rouge.

"Thank you, Garp. Will take care of Luffy for you. Will see you again." Rouge thanked Garp. Garp nodded and walked back to Foosha Village. "Okay, kids, time for dinner! Wash up!" Rouge announced to the kids. Rouge, Dadan, Dogra, and Magra returned to Dadan's house.

Ace and Anne jumped off the rock. Ace walked first. "Hey, you better apologize!" Ace ignored Luffy and walked past him. Luffy was getting pissed. Luffy put his straw hat on his head and remembered what Shanks said. Luffy looked at the ground as he wiped off the spit. Luffy felt a pair of eyes staring at him. He turns and looks at Anne, who has both arms behind her back. She was wearing an orange T-shirt with black shorts. 'She looks familiar?' Thought Luffy.

Anne smiled at Luffy. She had a slight blush. "Hi, I'm Portgas D. Anne. I'm sorry about my twin brother, he's not very good with his manners. Mom tried to teach him, but he never listened." 'Oh my god, he's actually in front of me! I can't believe it, and he has a tail now. He looks so cool!' Anee was screaming inside her head, but she kept calm in front of Luffy.

"You guys are twins! Wow, I'm Monkey D. Luffy, and I'm over it now." Then Luffy's stomach started to rumble.

Anne giggled a little. She grabbed Luffy's hand and dragged him to Dadan's house. "Come, let's eat. You'll enjoy Mom's cooking." Both entered Dandan's house, seeing everyone at the table ready to eat. Anne took Luffy to the kitchen to wash their hands.

Entering the kitchen, Rouge saw the kids and thought. 'They look so cute! Anne already got a liking to Luffy.' Rouge turned her attention back to cooking.

The rest of the Dadan Family saw Luffy. Some had questions. "Who's the kid?" One asked. Dogra answered his question. "He's Garp's grandson. Will be taking care of him from now on." All of them yell out. "WHAT!" and they had a shocked reaction.

Dadan and Rouge came out of the kitchen. Dadan held a big pot of soup and set it on the table. "That's enough! It's time for dinner, boys. You can talk when you are done eating." Everyone came running, holding their plates and forming a line. The kids were the first to get food. Luffy, Anne, and Ace walked up to the table, holding their bowls. Rouge took the bowls and filled them with soup. She gave them back to the kids, who went to sit at a table. Luffy looked at his food. It looked terrific. It was vegetables with meat. Luffy took a bite, his eyes widened, and his tail stood straight. It tasted amazing. Luffy needed to learn which cooking he liked, Makino or Rouge. Luffy couldn't decide.

Anne had a dreamy look while she watched Luffy eat. "Luffy, why are you up here with us, and why did Garp drop you off here?" Anne said while still watching him eat.

Luffy was munching the soup. He stopped eating and looked at Anne. Luffy raised an eyebrow. 'Why is she looking at me like that?' "Will, I ate Devil Fruits that Shanks brought, but it was two in one. We didn't know that. Almost died, but Godzilla saved me, and Shanks saved me from some mountain bandits, but he lost his arm. We promised that I'd become the greatest pirate in the world and return his straw hat to him. So Grandpa didn't like that and dragged me up here." Luffy went back to eating. Everyone just looked at Luffy in shock. They had many questions for him.

After they finished eating and washing their bowls. Ace signaled to Anne that it was time to go. Both kids told their mom and left outside holding their long pipes. Luffy noticed this and started to follow them. Outside, Luffy began to run, trying to catch up to them. "Hey, Anne, twin brother, wait for me!" Anne stopped her brother so Luffy could talk to him. Luffy caught up to them, but they were on a hill. "Hi, my name is Luffy! Everything is cool now. I'm not mad about you spitting on me. It is not worth bending out of shape. I'd rather be friends! So can I come with you guys!?" Luffy gave a toothy grin to them.

Anne looked at her twin and begged. "Ace, can he please come with us?" Anne gave Ace the puppy dog eyes.

Ace looked at Anne's puppy eyes and shook his head. "No, he can't come with us. You know this, Anne. Me, you, and Sabo agreed no one should know our secret spot." Ace turned around and hit a tree with his leg, breaking the tree. The tree started to fall and roll down the hill, heading straight at Luffy.

Luffy screamed and started to run from the log. "Ace, what the hell!" Anne turned to see Luffy heading straight to a big rock, and then he got crushed between a rock and a tree. "LUFFY!" Anne screamed in horror. She was about to check on Luffy, but Ace grabbed Anne's arm and dragged her to the spot.

Ace and Anne were both on the rope bridge. Anne was crying while Ace just kept walking. Then, both felt the bridge start to shake. Both turned and saw Luffy standing there with cuts and bruises, which were healing. Anne stopped crying and jumped a little "Luffy!" She was about to go to him, but Ace was the first to walk up to Luffy. Luffy gave Ace another toothy grin, but Ace griped his pipe and swung it to Luffy's head, knocking him off the rope bridge and falling straight down to the ravine.

Ace turned back to Anne, who had a shocked expression, and then it turned to an angry one. "Relax. If he could survive by getting crushed by two things, he could survive the fall from the ravine, and I don't know why you're getting angry? You just met him." Ace walked past Anne. "Let's go. Sabo is waiting." Anne looked down at the ravine. She prayed that Luffy was okay.

Hours later. Ace and Anne returned to Dadan's house with the fish they caught. Everyone comes outside, cheering at seeing the fish that Ace and Ann caught. Dogra looked around for Luffy, noticing that he wasn't with them. "Ace, Anne, where is Luffy? I thought he was with you guys."

"Beats me." Was the only thing Ace said before heading inside the house with Anne following him. While inside, they saw their mother and some other Dadans family cleaning.

Rouge noticed her kids. "Hey, how is my baby's day going!" Rouge bear hugged her kids. She let them go from the hug. Rouge looked around, not seeing Luffy. "Did Luffy go with you guys?" Rouge asked her kids. Ace just shrugged, and Anne wasn't looking at her mother and just whispered, "I don't know." Rouge kept staring at her kids, seeing if they were lying. That didn't work, so she sighed and singled them to the bathroom. "Both of you go take a shower before dinner." Ace and Anne nodded their head and headed to take a shower. Rouge signaled to one of the bandits to come here. "Tell Dadan that Luffy is not here. See if she could please send one of you to find him." The bandit nodded and went to talk to the boss. Rouge hoped that Luffy was okay.

It was night, time the Dadan family couldn't find Luffy. Dogra and Magra were in the watch tower with monoculars, looking to see if they could see Luffy. "Man, No one could find Luffy. You think he died?" Magra said to Dogra.

Dogra gave out a worried look. "If he is dead and Garp finds out, well, be the ones joining Luffy in the afterlife."

Thinking about that scared Magra. "I don't want to die. The boss might be worried sick right about now, and Rouge, too." Drogra and Magra both climbed down the watch tower and headed back inside. Both inside, they saw Dadan drinking.

Dadan saw both and signaled both of them to drink up. "Come boys, drink up! It is a matter of time before Luffy comes back. After all, he's Garp's grandson!" Dadan was very drunk. Rouge was one of the windows, seeing if Luffy would pop out and return. "Rouge, don't worry about it. Just like I said, he's Garp's grandson." Then Dadan passed out. "BOSS!" yelled all the bandits. They all went to help her.

It was time for bed. Rouge climbed the watch tower outside, lighting up some torches so Luffy could see the light from afar. Rouge then saw her daughter Anne outside, seeing if she could see Luffy. Rouge climbed down and went to her daughter. "Anne, are you worried about Luffy?" Anne was startled a little by her mother. Anne turned and nodded. "He'll be fine, you'll see. Luffy will be here in the morning." Rouge gave her daughter a smile. Anne smiled, too. "Come, let's head to bed." Rouge extended her hand to Anne, who took it and headed to their house.

Location: Dadan's house - One week later.

It's been one week since Luffy disappeared. Right now, it was nighttime, and everyone was asleep. Pochi, the dog, was barking at something. This woke up Dogra. "Dame dog. Do you know we are trying to sleep?" Dogra opens the door, seeing Luffy. Luffy was messy, had tattered clothes, and was a little bruised. What caught Dogra's attention was that Luffy's spikes on his tail were pulsing blue, his eyes too, and Luffy making a sound. It was intimidating Drogra a bit. "B-B-boss! Wake up quickly! Come here!" Drogra yelled, waking up everyone. Dadan and Magra came out to see what all the ruckus was.

Rouge and her kids also woke up. They went outside and were shocked to see Luffy there; more importantly, he was pulsing blue and rumbling while Dadan stretched his face and asked where he was. Anne ran to Luffy and gave him a big hug. Rouge came running as well. "Thank god you okay, Luffy! what happened?" Rouge asked in concern.

Dadan let go of Luffy's face. Luffy looked at Ace and turned to look at Rouge. Luffy was hungry and tired. "Well, I was wandering in the forest and slipped and fell into a ravine." Said Luffy with a tired tone. His stomach growled in hunger.

Rouge sigliled Luffy to come inside Dadan's house. She went to the kitchen fridge and took out a plate of meat. Rouge started to cook the meat. Anne dragged Luffy inside the house and sat him on the floor. When Luffy's butt touched the wooden floor, he immediately fell asleep. No tables were out because they put them away before they went to sleep. Anne tried to wake him up but with no results. Ace sat next to the wall, watching from afar.

An hour later, Rouge came out of the kitchen with a plate of meat. She exited the kitchen and saw Luffy sleeping while his tail was on Anne's lap. She turned to look at Anne, who just shrugged. "When he sat down, he fell asleep pretty quickly. I tried to wake him up, but he's not budging." Said Anne. She tried again to show her mom, but Luffy got more comfortable.

Rouge but the plate next to Luffy. She was going to try to wake him but was startled when Luffy reached out, grabbed a piece from the plate, and started eating it while he slept. Everyone began to laugh at what they were seeing.

Location: Mt. Colubo - Three months later.

It's been three months. In those three months, Luffy was chasing after Ace and Anne and wanted to become friends. Luffy was already good friends with Anne but not with Ace. Whenever Ace and Anne went out to their secret hideout, Luffy followed. But every time Luffy followed, Ace would always stop Luffy from following them by setting up traps and taking dangerous routes that only Ace and Anne knew how to cross. But it was a matter of time before Luffy would catch up to them.

Luffy climbed a hill. He was out of breath after chasing them again. When Luffy climbed up the hill, he saw plenty of junk. This was Gray Terminal. "Woo, what is this place?" Luffy climbed down and headed to the junk area. Luffy covered his nose. The smell was too strong for him. Luffy started to search for Ace and Anne. "Ace! Anne! Where are you guys!" Luffy kept searching for them. He checked high and low, only seeing people digging through trash. No one paid attention to Luffy's hybrid body. Then he spotted them carrying a brown bag. Luffy started to smile and giggle. He began to follow them again.

Location: The forest in between Mt. Corvo and Gray terminal.

Luffy was getting close. He could smell their scent and people talking. Luffy kept walking, following their scent. When Ace and Anne's scent stopped at a big tree, Luffy looked up. He could clearly hear three people. It was Ace, Anne, and someone else named Sabo. They were talking about money, ships, and pirates. This got Luffy excited. "Hey! You guys want to become pirates, too! And have a hidden treasure, too! I also want to become a pirate!" Anne looked down at Luffy with a smile and waved to him. Luffy waved back to her. Then Ace and Sabo climbed down really fast and ran straight to Luffy. Luffy thought they'd greet him but felt two fists hitting his head, both saying. "SHUT UP!"

They tied Luffy up to the tree. Luffy looked so happy now that he could hang out with Ace and Anne. "You know what's cool. I can follow you every day because I know where you go now." Luffy stated, laughing in excitement.

"So, this is Luffy you guys were talking about? He looks cool with that tail." Said Sabo, holding a long pipe and looking at Luffy's tail.

"You told your friend about me!" Luffy was happy.

"I told my friend how annoying you are, and Anne couldn't shut up about you. She kept talking about you every time she got." Said an annoyed Ace.

"Ace also told me that your head is full of rocks, and Anne said that you are a hybrid with something, you can stretch your body, and that you were cute." Said Sabo. Anne was blushing at what both Ace and Sabo said to Luffy. It was a secret between them.

"Wow, you guys told your friend everything about me. It is almost like we're friends." Said Luffy.

"I'm not your friend. You don't even know my name, stupid." Said Sabo, hitting his pipe on the ground.

"Your name is Sabo! I heard it when you guys were talking. I can hear pretty good."

Sabo looked shocked. Sabo wanted to say that it wasn't his name but with his reaction. Luffy knew already. "So what now." There was a long pause.

"He knows our secret; he can't keep a secret. He's too stupid." Said Ace

Anne then stepped in to defend Luffy. "Luffy is not stupid. He can keep a secret. Remember when he returned after missing a week, and Mom asked what had happened to him? Luffy said he tripped and fell into a ravine. Do you remember Ace?" Said Anne while looking at her brother.

Ace looked at his sister. "This is different. We have money saved up if he opens his mouth just a little to someone. They'll make him squeal." Ace turned to Sabo. "Let's kill him." Sabo nodded his head

"Sounds good."

Luffy and Anne's faces turned to a terrified look. "NO! THIS IS SCARRY PLEASE, ANYONE SAVE ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!" Luffy struggled through the rope while his tail was swinging, trying to escape.

Luffy's screaming made Ace, Anne, and Sabo panic a little. Ace and Sabo tried to shut up Luffy with their hands but couldn't. Luffy was moving too much, and they were scared of getting hit by Luffy's tail.

"Just kill him already; hurry up!" Ace yelled at Sabo.

"Why me? He's your problem; why don't you do it!" Sabo yelled back.

"I haven't killed anyone before!" Yelled Ace

"Neither have I! I don't know how this shit goes!" Yelled Sabo

Ace and Sabo turned and looked at Anne. "You do it!" Both said at the same time.

Anne looked at both of them and started to cry. "I don't want to kill Luffy! I love him!" All the yelling and crying caught some people's attention, and they were coming in their direction.

"Oh, crap. Someone is coming," Sabo warned everyone.

"Let's set him free. We got to get out of here fast. If people snooping around, they'll find our treasure." Ace, Anne, and Sabo start cutting the ropes, letting Luffy free. They ran to some bushes for cover. They hid behind the bushes and peeked to see a group of people approaching them.

"Wait, that guy Anne and I stole from earlier." Ace whispered, seeing the man all bandaged up.

"Holy shit, really! That's the Bluejam Pirates group. There are very dangerous people; no one fucks with them. Why did you two steal from them!?" Whispered to Ace.

"Next time we're stealing something from someone, I'll ask them for their name and if they are part of a pirate group." Whispered back Ace.

"Guy's, Guy's! Luffy is gone!" Whispered Anne, shaking their shoulders. Both looked at her. They looked around and saw that Luffy had been captured by the pirates.

"Let go of me! Anne Ace, help me!" Anne was about to help Luffy, but Sabo and Ace grabbed her and held her down. She was about to yell at them, but Ace covered her mouth.

"So you are friends with them." Said Porchemy, who was holding Luffy by the shirt.

"Ya, what is it to you!" Said Luffy.

"Your little friends stole from us, and we just want it back. We won't hurt anyone. You don't happen to know where it is." Said Porchemy, holding Luffy's t-shirt a little tighter.

Luffy started to sweat and made a face while trying to whistle. "I don't know what you're talking about."

The group of pirates looked dumbfounded. "That's all right. You must've forgotten. Don't worry; I have a way to jog your memory." Porchemy and the others started to walk back to Grey Terminal while taking Luffy with them. Luffy was punching and screaming while they walked.

Sabo looked at Ace. "What now?"

"You know what. We have to move all the treasure to a no location before Luffy rat us out." When Ace said the last word, Anne bit Ace's hand that was covering her mouth. Ace screamed in pain, letting his sister go. Sabo also let go. "What the hell, Anne! That hurt!" Ace started to rub his bit hand.

Anne got up and looked at Ace and Sabo with an angry look. "I told you Luffy won't say anything, and why did you stop me? We could beat them up!"

Ace looked at her with a pissed-off expression. "Look, Anne, if we could save him, we would, but they had swords that could cut us and our pipes like butter! We don't know how Luffy is; he might squill under pressure!" Ace turned and signaled Sabo to the big tree. "I don't care if you love him, but It's us or him, Anne, your choice." Ace and Sabo started to climb the tree.

Anne stared at Ace and Sabo as they climbed the tree. She turned and looked in the direction of where Luffy had been taken. Anne was holding tight to the pipe. She turned and started to walk.

"I'm sorry, Luffy. Please forgive me." Anne whispered to herself and started to climb the tree.

Location: Gray Terminal.

Luffy was tied up to a wooden pole. The Bluejam Pirates surround Luffy while Porchemy tries everything to make Luffy talk. "You know what, you're pretty loyal to your friends at your age. Porchemy walked toward Luffy with a big hammer. "Will, that doesn't matter anymore. I'm not wasting my time with you anymore." Porchemy brought the hammer over his head and slammed it down on Luffy. Everyone looked at the scene expecting Luffy to die, but Luffy raised his head, making the big hammer bounce off him. They all looked shocked at what they were seeing.

"That won't work on me. I ate the GUM-GUM Fruit." Said Luffy.

Porchemy just smirked. "That won't work then. Bring me my gloves." One guy went to fitch Porchemy's gloves, and another started to hang Luffy so Porchemy could hit Luffy well. The guy returned and handed the gloves to Porchemy, who began putting them on. "Look, kid, I'll clarify this a little. The money that Ace and Anne stole isn't just chump change; it is our boss's money, so it's a matter of life and death for me and all of my buddies here. You better say where it is before all of us die!" Porchemy swung at Luffy and punched his head, making Luffy bleed.

That punch felt different. It hurt a lot, and Luffy felt weak just at the touch of the gloves. Luffy felt blood running down his head.

"Did it hurt for you? Good because these gloves are extraordinary; they are made from Seastone, the weakness of Devil Fruit users. It was expensive but worth every Berry." Porchemy punched Luffy again. Luffy screamed in pain while screaming for help. "Go find Ace, Anne, and Sabo while I care for this one!" He ordered while punching Luffy. All of the men started to look after them.

Location: The forest in between Mt. Corvo and Gray Terminal.

Ace, Anne, and Sabo moved their treasure into some boxes to take them to a new hiding place.

"Hurry up, guys! Faster! I don't want those jerks or anyone else stealing the treasure; we spent five years to score all this! We can't get stuck on this dump forever!" Said Sabo.

We got to move all of this somewhere new, but I need to find out where to store it." Said Ace.

Anne was going as fast as she could. Tears kept running down her cheeks, thinking if Luffy was okay. Anne heard her brother about finding a new spot. Anne knew about a place, so she told them. "I know of a place." Said Anne with a whisper, sniffing a little.

"Okay. Good, let's hurry up." Ace wanted to say something about Luffy, but he knew not to open his mouth, or his sister would get mad about it, and they didn't have time to argue. Stashing all the treasure inside the boxes, all three climbed down with the boxes. "Okay, Anne, you lead the way. We'll carry the treasure and follow you." Anne nodded and started to run to the new secret spot. Ace and Sabo picked up the boxes and began to follow Anne.

After running through the forest for 20 minutes, they arrive at the new hiding location for the treasure that Anne knew about. Anne pointed at the big tree that was on top of a cliff. There is a tiny opening under the tree roots." Anne turned to Ace and Sabo, who held the treasure, and told them where it was.

Ace inspected their surroundings. "Yes, this will work. Okay, Sabo, go back to the old place and see if they're poking around and that we weren't followed too. Anne and I are going to stash the treasure." Ace started to climb the tree roots.

Anne grabbed the treasure box from Sabo and started to climb as well. 'Hope that you okay, Luffy. I know you won't say anything to them.' Thought Anne while holding on to her tears.

Sabo looked at both of his friends climb the tree. "Okay, I'm off! I'll be back!" Sabo started to head back to the old place.

One hour later.

It's been one hour since Sabo went out to look out in the old location. No one was around when he arrived, and everything looked the same. He was puzzled? 'Mmmm, this is weird; no one was snooping around here. Everything looks fine.' Sabo started to head to Gray Terminal and scoped around to see if the Bluejam Pirates were looking for them.

Sabo sneaked around and hid in the debris of trash. Sabo peeked around and saw a small group of Bluejam Pirates talking to a guy holding a pink stuffed bunny. Sabo got a little closer so he could hear what they were saying. "So you're looking for Ace, Anne, and Sabo? If I were you, I'd leave those kids alone." Said the guy. Then, another group of people who live in Gray Terminal walked behind the pirates.

"Ya, those kids are little devils that'll bite you and hit you with their metal pipes. Even one by themselves will beat you into a pulp." The man who was speaking to the pirates scanned the pirates. "Hey, if you guys are here, why don't you empty your pockets.' Said the guy who took a knife and showed it to the pirates.

The pirates panicked. "W-w-will thank you for your help!" The Bluejam Pirates started to run.

Sabo heard everything. He was still puzzled. Then, he started to connect the dots. "OH, SHIT, LUFFY DIDN'T RAT US OUT! ANNE WAS RIGHT! I SHOULD HURRY AND TELL THEM!' Sabo bolted to the new hiding location.

Location: Unknown New Hiding Spot For The Treasure.

Ace and Anne were finishing up making the hidden top for the treasure. Both walked outside under the tree, and Ace's victory cheered and posed. "Everything went perfectly fine, and Luffy doesn't know about this place!" Then Luffy's smiling face popped up in Ace's head. Ace stopped doing a victory pose. He saw her sister walk to the ledge of the rock and sat down, sniffing a little. Ace walked up to her. "Forget about Luffy Anne. It was his fault that he followed us here and made a lot of noise to alert the Bluejam Pirates. If he didn't make a lot of noise, we would've been cool with him." Said Ace while crossing his arms. Anne looked at him with her red, teary eyes and gave him a glare. She turned back and looked in the distance. Ace sighed, and then he noticed Sabo.

"Hey Sabo! How did it go? Were they snooping around?" Said Ace. Ace noticed Sabo's expression. It was a panicked look.

Sabo was catching his breath. He looked at Ace and Anne. "No one was there! So I went to Gray Terminal to see what was happening and saw the Bluejam Pirates! I eavesdropped, and they were asking about us!" Sabo took a deep breath and yelled. "You know what this means, Luffy didn't rat us out! Anne was right!" Sabo saw Ace's face of shock. Anne got up and looked at Ace in hope. "You know what this means? They are torturing Luffy right now!" Said Sabo.

Anne shook her brother. "Ace, we gotta save Luffy before it is too late!" Said Anne with a panicked voice.

Ace looked Anne in the eye. He took a deep breath. "Okay, let's go save Luffy." Said Ace. Ace and Anne grabbed the pipes and climbed down the tree. On the ground, the three started running to save Luffy.

Location: Gray Terminal

Luffy was still getting interrogated. Luffy was bruised and bleeding. His body couldn't heal fast enough because of Porchemy sea stone gloves.

Porchemy was getting mad. He was running out of time. Porchemy started to punch Luffy fast and hard. "Just spell it out, kid!" Porchemy hit Luffy's head.

"Porchemy, wait, that's enough. He's not going to spit it out." Said the guy. Porchemy looked at the guy, "He's not calling for help anymore. You wore him out." Porchemy approached the guy and punched him, sending him flying to a wall.

"Shut the fuck up and stop bitching. Who are you more worried about, the kid's life or your own, when the captain comes and finds out that a bunch of kids stole from us. Who do you think will be staring at the barrel of the gun? The guy looked at Porchemy in fear. He didn't want to die, so he kept quiet. "That's right." Porchemy went back, punching Luffy. "Come on, kid, you don't want to die for your little friends, right?" Said Porchemy while punching Luffy.

"I won't do it. I won't talk; please let me go." Luffy pleaded.

Porchemy had enough. "You won't talk?" Porchemy walked across the small hut, grabbed a sword, and started walking back to Luffy. "Fine, I'll let you go." Porchemy brought the sward upward to swing it at Luffy. "With the dead!" Yelled Porchemy.

Luffy looked up and saw the blade heading toward his head. Everything seemed to go in slow motion for Luffy. Then, a wall burst open, and three kids yelled simultaneously, "LET HIM GO!" Luffy noticed the voices, and time went back to normal. "Anne! Ace! Sabo!" Luffy Yelled out their names in happiness.

"Porchemy, those are the kids who stole from us!" Said the guy.

Ace, Anne, and Sabo headed straight to Luffy. "Anne, untie Luffy. Sabo and I will cover you." Commanded Ace. Anne nodded.

Anne jumped on Luffy's back and started to untie. "Sorry, Luffy, for not coming to save you sooner. I-I-I wanted to come, but-but." tears start to come out of Anne's eyes

Luffy, noticing her stuttering, turned his head and saw Anne's watering eyes. Luffy understood what she was trying to say. "It's okay, Anne; if I were in your spot, I would do the same. I'm new to Ace and Sabo. You and I hang out often when I'm not chasing you guys, but you know them a lot longer, so you had to choose to go with them and run." Said Luffy as he gave her a toothy smile.

Anne was surprised by Luffy's response. Luffy just said what he felt. Anne hugged Luffy and whispered in his ear. "Thank you." Anne went back to untieing Luffy.

Ace went to attack, but Porchemy grabbed Ace by his neck. "So these are the kids who stole from you guys. Thanks, kids, for saving us the trouble of looking for you. Your friend is tough. He didn't want to squeal, but I know you'll squeal." Said Porchemy.

"Sabo now!" Yelled Ace. Sabo jumped and hit Porchemy from behind his head. With that hit, Sabo gave Porchemy, and he let go of Ace. Ace and Sabo noticed Porchemy's sword. Both kept their distance from Porchemy. "Sabo, go help Anne." Said Ace. He looked around and saw the other pirates getting ready to attack them. "Looks like the others are ready to attack. I'll keep this dud busy you handle the rest of them." Sabo nodded, headed to Anne's side, and started to fight the other pirates.

Anne was having trouble untying Luffy. "Shit, I can't untie Luffy! They tied him pretty well!" Yelled Anne to the guys. Her fingers were hurting. She looked around for something sharp.

Luffy then had an idea. "Anne, bring the rope holding me by the air to my mouth a little close. I'll chew it with my teeth." Anne nodded. She wrapped her legs around Luffy's torso and started to climb a little to make it easier for Luffy to chew it. She brought the rope close to Luffy, and he began to chew on it. In a minute, they both fell to the ground. Luffy hit the ground first, and Anne landed on top of Luffy.

Luffy cried in pain from the fall. Anne got up from him and got Luffy to sit down. Anne hoped it would be easier to untie Luffy on the ground but with no luck. "FUCK!" Anne cursed. Then she had an idea. "Luffy, I'm going to grab your head and extend it so you can chew it." Luffy nodded. Anne grabbed Luffy's head and extended his head on his back.

Luffy tried to chew the ropes but couldn't get a good angle anywhere. "Anne, I can't chew it off." Anne let go of Luffy's head, which retracted back.

Seeing they were having trouble, Sabo fought the pirates and took one of their knives from a guy. Sabo got to Anne and handed the knife to her. "Here, Anne, free Luffy with this." Anne took the knife and thanked Sabo. Sabo looked at Ace, who was dodging and hitting Porchemy. 'Good, Ace is holding his own.' Thought Sabo. Cutting the rope, Luffy was free. Sabo and Anne started to carry Luffy out of the hut. "Okay, we got Luffy now! Let's make a run for it!"

"You guys go ahead!" Said Ace.

Anne and Sabo stopped and looked at Ace. "What!?" both said at the same time.

"I don't run from my enemies ever! Got it!? Ace got ready to attack Porchemy.

"Funny, and I don't go easy on my enemies!" Porchemy declared.

"Ace, what the fuck are you talking about!" Anne said. She's worried now if her brother has become mental.

"Ace, these guys aren't thugs. They're Bluejam pirates! So let's get the fuck out of here before we get killed; we got Luffy already!" Yelled Sabo at Ace.

"Just hand over the money, kid. That doesn't belong to you guys. I'll let you guys leave alive because I know that you dumb kids." Said Porchemy while pointing his sword at Ace.

Ace smacked the sword with his pipe. "We got planes for that money. The money belongs to us now." Said Ace.

"I'm done playing games. All of you are going to die!" Said an angry Porchemy.

Sabo and Anne lay Luffy down on the floor. "Stay here, Luffy. We are going to help out Ace." Said Sabo. Anne and Sabo got into a fighting position next to Ace.

"Ace, are you stupid or what? We had a good opening to run away, but no big shot wanted to fight. Why do you keep doing this!?" Said an annoyed/angry Anne to Ace.

"Ya, like, why? You really like to dig your heels in, don'tcha?" Said an annoyed Sabo.

"Both of you shut up and fight!" Yelled Ace at both Anne and Sabo. Ace swung his pipe at Porchemy, but Porchemy cut Ace's pipe in half like butter. Ace backed up, and then he felt something running down his forehead; it was blood.

I'm not losing to a bunch of brats. I'd rather just kill myself before the captain finds out!" Said a crazy Porchemy.

Ace, Anne, and Sabo went in all-out attack. "Not if we do it first!" Pipes and swords hit each other. Ace, Anne, and Sabo dodged attacks from Porchemy and beat him quickly. They worked like a team. Luffy was in awe, seeing how they fought.

Location: in the forest.

Some time passed, and it was nighttime. Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy were hiding in the forest. Ace, Anne, and Sabo beat up Porchemy and quickly exited. Now, all of them are bandaged up. Ace was taping his broken pipe, Sabo was leaning on a rock holding his pipe, and Anne was bandaging up a crying Luffy.

Anne was applying the last bandage to Luffy's nose. "There you go, Luffy. I'm done, and stop crying." Said a happy Anne as she sat close to Luffy. Anne grabbed Luffy's tail, sat it on her lap, and started to pad it. But Luffy kept crying.

"Ace, what you did back there was really not cool. They were actual pirates. Next time, we run. Whatever your deal is, it's not worth dying over." Lectured Sabo to Ace.

"What Sabo is saying is true, Ace. Fighting those pirates was not worth it. We got fortunate with that guy. He was sloppy. He was so much in rage he was just swinging around." Said Anne. She didn't know why Ace was acting like this. One day, Ace went to King Dom and came back different.

Ace was examining his now repaired pipe. "Mmmm, man, this sucks. I liked my old one better." Ace swung his pipe around, seeing if it was still good.

Sabo and Anne looked at Ace seriously. Sabo sighs. "We made a huge mistake missing with those pirates. They probably already told their captain about us. What are we going to do?" Said a depressed Sabo.

Luffy was still crying. Ace got up from his spot and jumped down. Ace yells at Luffy. "Stop crying like a baby! Don't you want to be a Pirate?" With that comment, Luffy stopped crying.

Ace and Sabo looked in surprise at his change of mod. "Th-Thank you for saving me and risking your life for me." Then Luffy started to cry again.

Anne pated Luffy's tail. "There, There." Anne said, trying to relax Luffy.

"Stop it!" Ace yelled.

"Calm down, Ace! He's just happy. okay?" Sabo tried to relax Ace.

Ace was a little confused with Luffy and wanted answers. "So, what's the deal with you? Why didn't you tell them what they wanted? Do you think they wouldn't kill you because you're a kid?" Said Ace, feeling a little irritated with Luffy.

Luffy's straw hat covered the top half of his face. "I was afraid... that you wouldn't be my friend." Said Luffy with a sad tone.

Ace and Sabo looked at Luffy with a series that's your answer look. Anne just smiled at Luffy. His answer was dumb, but it was cute to her. "Okay, but Your answer is dumb, and so what? That still beats dying, right?" Besides, why do you want to be my friend? It's not like I've been nice to you; I've been giving you hell since we met! It's been months. Why haven't you given up?" Said Ace.

"Well, Cause...cause I... I got no one else to turn to! I have Makino and her family, but I can't return to Foosha Village! Because Grandpa said to stay with the mountain bandits, but I don't like it there. I like your mom, but she's busy doing things, and I don't like being alone, so I follow you guys. Getting beat up hurts, but being lonely hurts more!" Said Luffy with tears and a running nose. Hearing this, Anne gave Luffy a tight hug.

You feel better around Anee... and me?" Asked Ace.

"Uh-huh," Luffy answered with a nod.

"Otherwise, you feel lonely?" Ace asked.

"Uh-huh," Answered again with a nod.

Then Ace remembered something that had happened months ago. He went to a bar on the edge of town by himself and asked the people, What if Gold Roger had kids and they gave him an answer that he didn't like. From that day, Ace changed. Ace tightens his grip on his pipe. "Do you think I deserve to live?" Said Ace with a serious tone.

What Ace said got Anne to look at him in worry. 'Why is he talking like that!?" Anne thought, and she hugged Luffy a little tighter. She'll have to talk to him about this in private.

"Hmmm? Of course, I do!" Luffy said without a doubt. Luffy noticed Anne hug him tighter.

Ace turned around, facing away from Luffy and Anne. "I see. But you are still annoying. Weak little crybabies piss me off." Said Ace with an irritating tone.

Luffy moved a little, signaling Anne to let him go. Luffy jumped off the rock. "Nuh-uh! I'm not weak! I'm super strong!" Said Luffy while flexing his arms, showing a little muscle.

"Ha! Do you think you're powerful? You were crying your eyes out the whole time you were tied up!" Said a mocking Ace, making Luffy angry

"Well, have you ever gotten hit by gloves made with sea stone spikes that big? Because that hurt more for me! I'm just seven years old! Wait till I turn ten like you guys, and then I'll be stronger and won't cry anymore!" Said Luffy. Ace and Luffy smashed their foreheads together, pushing each other.

Ace pushed Luffy down a little with his forehead. "Age has nothing to do with it. You dumbass! Hell, when I was seven, I was tough!" Yelled out Ace to Luffy.

Luffy pushed Ace with his forehead, too. "So what! I'm gonna be so tough you're gonna cry! I promised Shanks I'd be a great pirate someday, which means way greater than you!" Yelled Luffy at Ace.

"Ha! You'll be a crappy pirate!" Said Ace.

"Nuh-uh!"

"Yeah-huh!"

Ace and Luffy went back and forth, arguing and pushing each other with their foreheads.

Anne walked to Sabo, standing with his arms crossed, eyes closed. Anne stood next to him. "Looks like they are becoming good friends. Do you think so, Sabo?" Said Anne.

Sabo nodded his head. "It was pretty quick. I thought it would have taken some time for Ace to like Luffy." Said Sabo. Anne nodded."We should separate them before they hurt themselves more." Anne agreed. Both walked to Ace and Luffy. Sabo went and grabbed Ace, and Anne grabbed Luffy. Both pulled each of them, separating them. "Okay, enough of that!" Ace and Luffy looked pissed. "Jeez, listen. In case you guys forgot, we got a problem here." Both Ace and Luffy relaxed. Sabo let go of Ace, and Anne kept holding Luffy but with a hug and a smile.

"A problem?" Said a confused Luffy.

Sabo nodded. "Bluejam and his buddies are bound to come looking for us after what happened back there, and like you said, Ace, they don't care if we're kids. They'll kill us without a second thought." Said Sabo.

"Yeah, probably." Agreed Ace.

Sabo started to walk and talk. "This forest where I've been living is awfully close to their hideout. What if I'm a little too tired one night, sleep a little too hard, and they sneak up on me?"

""You're dead."" Ace and Anne said at the same time.

"Mm. Yeah, way dead." Said Luffy.

"Right," Sabo turned to the three of them. "So, I need your help. Here, I've got an Idea." Sabo singled the three of them to come. They huddled in a circle and talked.

Location: Dadan's and Rouge houses. Night time.

Luffy, Anne, Ace, and Sabo were walking back to Dadan's and Rouge's houses. Rouge was outside in front of Dadan's house, sitting on a rocking chair with a blanket. She was wearing white pajamas. Rouge saw her kids and Luffy. She got up from the chair, bolted to them, and hugged them. "Where were you kids? I was worried sick." Luffy was in the middle of the hug while Ace and Anne were on each side of him. Rouge looked at Luffy, Ace, and Anne and noticed they were bandaged. "Wh-what happened to you guys? Why are you guys all bandaged up." Said Rouge in a panic tone. Then she noticed Sabo, who was there looking at them. "Hello, who might you be?" Said Rouge, letting go of the kids.

Sabo cleared his throat and presented himself. "Hello, ma'am. My name is Sabo, and I'm good friends with Ace, Anne, and Luffy." Said Sabo with a polite tone.

"Hello, Sabo; I'm Rouge." Greeted Rouge. She turned to the kids and wanted an explanation. "Okay, you kids better start explaining what happened right now." Said Rouge with a stern tone. Ace, Anne, and Luffy nodded their head and started to explain.

After an hour of explaining what happened, they left out the treasure and changed the story. They were playing in Gray Terminal, and some pirate group started messing with them, so the kids told them to leave them, but the pirates didn't like that and started attacking them, and the kids started to defend themselves and strike back. When they got away and beat the group up, Sabo was worried that the pirates would be looking for them. Sabo told Rouge that he lived in the forest and where it took place was close to where he lived. So, Anne suggested that Sabo come and live with them.

Rouge didn't buy it, but she let them think she did. "Sigh, okay, right now, don't go back there for some time or just hide from them." Said Rouge. She knew her kids were intelligent, strong, and clever, and she wasn't worried about them getting in trouble and hurt. But her mother's instincts were telling her not to let them go to that place again. Rouge knew they were kids and wanted to have fun, not be stuck here with nothing to do. She knew she got bored here too, so she let them have fun but looked out for each other. Rouge looked at Sabo. "Sabo, you are more welcome to stay here as long as you want. Come, let's get you guys ready for bed." Rouge said, giving the kids a warm smile. The kids smiled back at her as well. Rouge walked to her house while the kids followed.

The next day.

It was early morning. Rouge and the kids were in Dadan's kitchen. Rouge was cooking breakfast for the rest of the Dadan family while the kids ate breakfast. The Dadan family smelled the delicious morning breakfast, and each one started to wake up. When Dogra got up and saw four kids eating, he thought nothing about it. He was about to go brush his teeth but stopped in his tracks. "Four kids?"Dogra started to count with his fingers. 'There's Luffy, Anne, and Ace. That's three. Who is the other kid!' Dogra spun around and looked at the short, blond, curly-haired boy. "Boss, wake up. You've got to see this!" Yelled Dogra.

Dadan got up, looking really pissed. She didn't like being woken up. "What's with all the screaming! It's early in the morning!" Dadan walked up to Dogra. He was pointing at something. She followed the direction of the finger, noticing another kid in her house. "What the hell!" Dadan also started to count, ending with the exact count as Dogra.

Rouge came out of the kitchen holding a plate of pancakes. She saw the entire Dadan family staring at the kids. "Good morning! Would you all like breakfast?" All of them nodded their heads.

Knowing it was a good time to leave, Ace asked his mom. "Mom, could we leave?" Said Ace.

Rouge looked at her son. "Go ahead, but remember, stay together, okay." Said to the kids. All of them nodded.

Ace, Anne, and Sabo thanked Rouge for the food, got up from their seats, and started walking out of the house. Anne, noticing Luffy wasn't following them, turned and saw that Luffy was still eating. She walked back to the table and grabbed Luffy's tail. "Come, Luffy, time to go!" Anne started to pull his tail, stretching it.

Luffy was stuffing his mouth with food, holding dear life to the table. "I'm still hungry, and it's delicious!" Said a stuffed mouth, Luffy.

"Luffy!" Anne whined, still holding onto his tail.

Luffy sighed. Luffy once again stuffed his mouth with his pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, and hashbrowns. Luffy got up from his seat, looked at Rouge, and gave her a thumbs up. Rouge giggled at his action. Luffy walked next to Anne, who let go of his tail. Both started to run out of the house.

Dadan sat down and started to eat. "So, who's the blond kid?" Dadan asked Rouge. Rouge sat down at the table and started to explain.

Location: Somewhere in the forest.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy were all sitting on the grass, wondering what to do. Then Sabo spoke up. "Hey, Luffy, show us what you can do with your abilities!" This got Ace and Anne's attention, and they also wanted to see what Luffy could do.

Luffy got up. "Will I extend my tail and body." Luffy extended his tail to Anne, wrapping it around her waist. "I can lift things with it, too. and use it like a weapon." Luffy lifted Anne from the ground, moving her through the air slowly. He brought her down and let go of her. " I can inflate like a balloon. "GUM-GUM BALLOON! " Luffy started to suck in the air. His body began to expand. Ace, Anne, and Sabo were in aww. Luffy let out all the air and went back to normal. "I can shoot my arm like a pistol." "GUM-GUM Pistiol!" Luffy shot his arm, but it wasn't amazing because it wobbled and didn't hit anything. "And I can swim and breathe underwater!" Said Luffy, pumping his chest.

"Really? I'd like to see this." Said Ace. Everyone headed to the ocean shores. They were standing next to a cliff. They were looking at the ocean from the edge of the cliff. "Okay, Luffy, show us." Said Ace.

"Okay, but I can only last for a cou-." Luffy was cut off because Ace pushed him off the cliff.

"Ace!" Yelled Anne at Ace.

"What? He was talking too much." Said Ace.

"Wait, how will we know if he could breathe underwater and swim from up here?" Said Sabo, looking confused.

Ace and Anne had a dumbfounded look. They didn't think of that. "Will know if he can swim when he returns. Look, there he goes!" Said Ace, pointing at Luffy, who was swimming around. "But the breathing underwater will have to see that some other time." Said Ace. Then, they saw hands extending out of the water and grabbing the cliff's edge.

Luffy came out of the water. Luffy pulled himself up when he returned to the top of the cliff. Luffy looked at Ace with a pissed-off look, showing his sharp teeth. "What the hell was that for! I was in the middle explaining something!" Yelled Luffy at Ace. Luffy took a deep breath and let the air through his nose. "Did you guys see that? It was pretty cool!" Luffy said, looking at the three with a toothy smile.

Anne was the one to let Luffy know. "Will Luffy, we saw you swim, but you breathing underwater. We didn't see that from way up here." Luffy had a dumbstruck look. Anne grabbed Luffy's head and hugged him. "Maybe next time you'll show us." Said Anne.

"Ya, next time you'll show us. What we saw was pretty cool. You might come in handy with your abilities." Said Sabo. "Hey, you guys, I want to check on something." Ace and Anne looked at him and nodded.

Location: Old Secret Treasure Stash.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy hid behind a bush, wearing leaves and small branches like headbands. They were looking at a group of Bluejam pirates. They found the old treasure stash and found it empty.

"Good thing we moved everything right away." Said Sabo

Ace and Anne nodded in confirmation. "Hey, while we are at it, you wanna check Gray Terminal, too?" Said Ace.

"Good idea." Sabo agreed. All four sneaked out of there, heading to Gray Terminal.

Location: Gray Terminal.

When they got there, they saw a lot of Bluejam Pirates asking people if they had seen them showing a poster of their faces. They sneaked around, reaching the gate of Gray Terminal.

"Okay, guys, we need to form a human ladder. I can't see a lot from here." Said Sabo.

Ace nodded. "Alright, Luffy, you are the bottom, then Anne, me, and Sabo. Okay, let's get started." Said Ace, ordering them where to go.

"Wait, why am I the bottom one!" Yelled Luffy at Ace.

"Because with that tail of yours, you are pretty heavy! Have you seen it? I don't know how to explain it, but it looks fat. One swing from that tail might kill someone." Said Ace, making a swinging motion.

Luffy looked at his tail. "The Doctor said it's an okay size for me. it balances me out." Said Luffy.

"You see, that's why you're on the bottom." Said Ace, making his point.

"Will, I'm not carrying you and Sabo. You guys are too heavy. I'm a girl, so I should be on the top." Said Ann, arguing with her brother.

"Let's hurry up, guys! I don't want us to get caught by Bluejam." Said Sabo. With that, everyone got into position: Luffy on the bottom, Ace, Sabo, and Anne.

"Okay, what do you guys see." Said Ace, who could only see a little bit at the gate entrance.

"There's a lot of Bluejams in the gate's entrance." Said Anne.

"And other people, too. It looks like everyone is looking for us." Said Sabo.

"Well, what do you expect. Bluejam gotta be super pissed right now. We pretty much have wanted posters." Said Ace.

They kept looking, and then they heard someone yell. "Hey guys, the kids you've been looking for! They are all right here!" Yelled the guy.

The kids panicked, all of them falling from the human ladder. "Let's book it!" Yelled Sabo. All four started to run back to the forest.

Then, a bunch of people started to run after them. "Give it up, kids! There's a bounty on your head, and I'm gonna cash it!" Said a guy who was chasing them.

"We will lose them in the forest. Come on!" Yelled Ace. All four of them enter the forest.

Location: Somewhere in the forest.

All four of the kids were catching their breath from all the running. The people chasing wouldn't give up.

"Man, Bluejam's got all of Gray Terminal hunting us down. We better lay low for now. There are too many of them. Here's hoping they get bored and move on to something else." Said Sabo, who was sitting against a tree.

Ace didn't like this idea. "Why should we hide? If they find us, then we can just fight them." Said Ace.

"That's no reason to pick a fight, though. What, are we gonna beat up like a hundred guys just because?" Said Sabo.

"Luffy, hanging upside down from a tree, spoke up. "Yeah. Ace! Sabo's right!" Anne, who was sitting on the ground, nodded in agreement.

Ace looked at Luffy. "Nobody asked you." Said Ace.

Then Luffy's stomach started to growl in hunger. "Guys, I'm hungry. Let's eat!" Said Luffy, letting go of the tree, falling to the ground, and landing on his feet.

Anne looked at the sky. They had time to go hunting. "Okay, let's go hunting. We still have time before it gets dark." Said Anne, making the boys nod their heads.

Location: Dadan's house.

It was afternoon, and the kids were walking back home. Ace, Sabo, and Luffy carried a giant crocodile while Anne walked in front of them. Rouge came out and welcomed them home. While the kids brought the giant crocodile into the kitchen, Rouge started to cook with the help of Dadan.

From then on, Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy always hang out with each other. They hunted wild animals in the mountains, tussled with hooligans in the city, dueled with pirates at the cove, and trained together to get stronger. Within time, news of their wild exploits reached far and wide, even in the high wall surrounding the kingdom's center.

It's been a month. The four kids were in an open area in the forest. Fighting with each other, seeing who is more robust in the group. Right now, it was Ace vs Luffy. Ace crossed his arms, waiting for Luffy to do something.

"Okay, Ace, I hope you are in for a world of pain!" Luffy started to run at Ace with his right arm spinning. "GUM-GUM Pistol!"Luffy sends his fist at Ace, but his fist hits the ground, bouncing off and hitting Luffy right in the face.

Ace looked annoyed at what Luffy did to himself. "Would you pull it together!" Said Ace. He ran at Luffy and kicked him right in his face. "Why do all your moves suck so much, huh!" Sending Luffy rolling. Winner Ace.

"That's one for Ace." Said Sabo, marking the scoreboard. Anne ran up to Luffy to see if he was okay. She then dragged Luffy to the side and set his head on her lap. Anne started to move her hand through his hair.

It was Sabo's turn now to go against Ace. Both started to run at each other. Throwing punches and kicks at each other.

'I won't lose this fight to anyone. Sorry, Sabo, but that goes for you too!' Thought Ace.

'I'm still too weak. I can't stop till I'm stronger than Ace and Anne! Till I'm the strongest in the world! Thought Sabo.

Both went at it for 30 minutes until Ace threw the last punch, sending Sabo to the ground. Winner Ace. "I guess that's two wins for me." Said Ace with a smile.

Now, it was Anne's turn to fight the winner. She moved Luffy's head to the floor, got up, and headed to the open area where her brother awaited her.

Both got ready. Both ran at each other. Ace threw the first punch at Anne, who just dodged it. Anne went for a leg sweep on Ace, who he also avoided. Both went at it for one hour, some landing punches and kicks at each other, but none giving up. With a final act, both threw a punch, hitting each other simultaneously and knocking each other to the ground. No winner match ended in a tie.

Luffy and Sabo, seeing this, always ended the same. Sabo went to the scoreboard and marked it as a tie.

Luffy walked up to Anne and helped her up. "Are you okay, Anne?" Said Luffy, a little concerned. Anne nodded. Luffy started to rub where Ace had hit her. Luffy extended his tail to Ace, who he grabbed and pulled himself up.

Seeing Luffy and Anne interacting with each other put a smile on his face. 'Looks like they end up getting together when they grow up. Gata makes Luffy strong so he can protect her and himself.' Thought Ace. He walked up to Sabo and saw the scoreboard. "So you and Luffy need one more match?" Said Ace to Sabo. Sabo nodded.

"Sabo! You and me, let's do this!" Yelled Luffy at Sabo. Sabo sighed and walked to the open area. Both got ready.

Sabo started to run at Luffy. Luffy was standing there with a smile. "Last chance to turn back! This is gonna hurt, you know!" Said Sabo, who was getting close to Luffy.

Luffy gave a toothy smile and chuckled. "GUM_GUM Shield!"Luffy grabbed four fingers from his left hand and stretched them to look like guitar strings.

"Not this again. Does he think I'm just gonna run into him?" Said Sabo to himself. Sabo stopped before Luffy, grabbed his stretched-out fingers, and pulled it back. "This should be fun!" Luffy was scrying for Sabo to hold up and wait. but Sabo let go of Luffy's finger, smacking him on his face. Making Luffy roll over the floor again. Winner Sabo.

Anne ran up to Luffy to check on him.

Ace let out a sigh. "Just give it up with the rubber crap. At least learn to fight like a normal person first. Or use that tail of yours in the fight." Said Ace, giving advice to Luffy.

"No way! I was so close! Just wait, it's gonna be awesome when I get it right!" Luffy brought his tail in front of him. "You said my tail can kill someone." Said Luffy, remembering what Ace had said.

"I said you "might kill someone." But If you're going full force with a swing, ya, it might kill or hurt someone if you want, but you'll have to know how much force you going to do to someone." Said Ace.

Luffy nodded in understanding. "Okay, come on, one more try!" Yelled Luffy.

Ace shook his head. "Sorry, man. You know the rules: a hundred matches a day. You can try it tomorrow."

Luffy didn't like the answer Ace gave him. He wanted to fight now and prove himself. "You just win 'cause you older. I'm telling you, when I turn ten, I'm gonna kick your butts!" Declared Luffy.

Anne patted Luffy's back. "There there, Luffy. The day will go flying, and then it will be the next day." Said Anne, who was trying to cheer him up.

Ace raised an eyebrow at Luffy's declaration. "You do realize we'll be 13 then, right?" Said Ace. Then he felt his stomach start to growl. Ace turned to Sabo, who was writing on the scoreboard. "Sabo! Hurry it up! Let's go look for something to eat!" Yelled Ace at Sabo.

Sabo looked at Ace and nodded. "Just a sec!" Sabo was righting down the final match on the scoreboard. "Luffy lost 33 times with Ace, and Anne lost 34 times with me. Okay, me, Ace, and Anne." Sabo went on mumbling while tallying up the points. "Lost by two points. So close!" Said Sabo. He grabbed his pipe and headed where Luffy, Anne, and Ace awaited him. Together, they ran to look for food.

Sometime later in the afternoon. The kids hunted a crocodile, and now we're heading home so Rouge can cook it. The kids always liked how Rouge cooked the crocodile. It was an easy animal to hunt. It was in one place, and they were constantly huddled in a group. The harsh environment of Mount Corvo made the four kids grow stronger each day, and their bond grew stronger.

Location: Gray Terminal.

To the north of the forest playground of the four kids, the dirty dealings of Gray Terminal continued as usual. And even further north than that was a city with a solid stone wall, handily keeping the nearby criminals at arm's length. The only entrance from the junkyard below is called the Great Gate. Twice a day, mountains of discarded trash from all over the county are carried through it and dumped into Gray Terminal. From time to time, residents of Gray Terminal will enter the city to sell what they call "recycled goods."

We follow our four favorite troublemakers on the Great Gate. All four form a human ladder while wearing a gray, dirty old robe. On top was Anne, who was wearing a face mask. Ace was dragging something big covered by a green cover. Getting close to the Grate Gate, they were stopped by someone who was wearing a gas mask while holding a rifle. It looked like he was in the military. "Hey. Wait!" Luffy stopped. "What's underneath the cover?" Asked the soldier.

Anne turned her head a little, but Ace was the one who spoke for her. "Crocodile skin. Want it?" Said Ace. Then Sabo bent a little so Ace could show the soldier the merchandise. Ace pulled the covers, showing the soldier.

The soldier looked at it, nodded, and singled "them." to go. "Go ahead." Said the soldier. Luffy started to walk, and Ace pulled.

Exiting the Great Gate, they entered Edge Town, populated by thugs and criminals. Luffy was signaled by Sabo to walk to an ally for a shortcut. Entering the ally, they saw many thugs talking to each other. When they were getting close to them, they were stopped by a guy. "Hey there. Buddy. Need some help with that heavy package?" Said an orange curly-haired guy. The thugs started to chuckle, surrounding them while holding weapons. Ace didn't answer the guy. This pissed the guy off. "Hey! Answer me when I speak to you!" Said the guy who got close to them.

Anne stared at the guy with an annoyed look in her eyes. "Buzz off." Said Ace.

"What!?"

Then Ace grabbed his pipe and swiped the guy's foot, making him fall.

"You're dead!" Said the guy. All of his friends were ready to fight.

"Gotta pick your targets more carefully!" Said Ace as Anne removed the robe, showing themselves to the thugs while holding their pipes. "You might get more than you bargained for." Said Ace with a toothy smile, making Anne, Sabo, and Luffy have a toothy smile too.

The thugs backed away and recognized the four kids. "Aw, shit, not them! Look out!" Said a guy.

"No mercy!" Yelled Ace

"All right!" Anne, Sabo, and Luffy said at the same time. They started to fight with the thugs while some ran. Some stayed and fought them.

20 minutes later. Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy finished beating the thugs. Now, they were walking through town, still dragging their package. They were heading straight to the kingdom's center, where all the wealthy/nobles lived in High Town. Sabo knows where they can sell the crocodile skin top Berry, no questions asked. Arriving at a fancy store with purses and dress shoes displayed on shelves. All looked like they were made of high quality. Walking in front of the counter, a man was looking at them in disgust.

Ace spook up. "I'm here to sell you crocodile skins. Are you interested?" The man's demeanor changed into a happy look.

"Of course! Would I see the crocodile skin?" The man asked.

Anne nodded her head, Ace signaling with his hand. "It is right outside." The man walked out of the shop, examining the skin. The man came back with a smile.

"The skin looks terrific; the color and texture are perfect. Let me grab my boss." The man went somewhere behind the store and came back with another man, but this guy looked old. The man took the old man outside the shop, showing the crocodile skin to his boss. The old boss looked at it, felt it, and nodded to the man to buy it. The man nodded, returned to the kids, and handed them cash.

Ace grabbed it with both hands and started to flip through the cash. Anne looked at the money and started to count. When she finished, she signaled him to stop "50,000 thousand Berry's." She whispered to Ace. Ace nodded. "This will do." Said Ace to the man. Ace brought the money inside the robe, and they left the shop.

They were walking through the town, people staring at them and backing away.

"I told you guys that they will love that crocodile skin! Out pirate savings are really piling up!" Said Sabo, sounding happy and excited.

"Fine, but I'm hungry!" Whined Luffy, feeling super hungry.

"Hold on, we're almost there. I hear this place has the best ramen noodles you've ever tasted." Said Ace. They were getting close to a street. "Turn left here, Luffy." Ace sigled Luffy where to turn.

Sabo chuckled. "Well, that's not saying much. I've never even heard of the stuff." Said Sabo.

"What I've heard is they say the whole menu is delicious. There is no going wrong with any selection, and I also heard that a guy goes to that place and eats a hundred bowls of ramen in one sitting!" Said Anne, sharing her information.

"Hundred! That's not possible!" Said Ace and Sabo.

"I don't care if a guy ate a hundred ramen. I'm starving. Let's hurry it up!" Whined again, Luffy.

"You're the only one who is walking all of us!" Said a pissed-off Ace. "And we are close to the place. Is that tall building with the red sign up front." With that, Luffy bolts right to the place, making Anne, Ace, and Sabo almost lose their balance.

"SLOW DOWN, LUFFY!" yelled the three simultaneously.

Reaching the front of the building, they walked inside. Entering, they saw a man wearing a white uniform with a smile. "Hello, may I help you?" The man greeted them with a bow, and when he stopped bowing, he let out a loud [gasp] when he saw how they were dressed. "Oh, my goodness, this will not do, sir! Forgive my bluntness, but we simply do not serve your kind." Said the panicking man.

Sabo drugged around his pockets and took out a golden thing with a flower on top and marbles tied around it. Sabo cleared his throat and spoke with a deep voice. "The VIP room, please." Said Sabo.

The man looked at it and was shocked. "But that mark- it can't be! Please excuse my impertinence, sir. We would be honored to have a noble like you grace our establishment. Give me a moment, and I'll gladly prepare a room." Said the man, bowing again and leaving in a hurry to prepare a room.

"Wow, I've never seen someone change that fast when seeing a golden medal." Said Anne.

Ace nodded and looked down at Sabo. "That's pretty handy! Where did you get that thing?" Questioned Ace.

"Oh, uh, yeah, it's weird. I found it lying on the street." Said Sabo in an awkward tone.

Then, a female waitress with glasses and brown hair tied into big tails wearing a white uniform with a mini skirt and a small hat with two red trips around it came holding a mune. "Hello, sir. I'll be your waitress today. Please follow me. I'll be showing you to your room." Said the waitress with a smile. She started to walk up the stairs, and Luffy followed her.

Walking up the stairs, Luffy got a good view under the waitress's skirt. She was wearing a white G-string panties. "Oh, wow." Luffy said out loud, alerting the waitress. This panicked everyone.

"Something the matter, sir!" Said the waitress.

"Oh, the place looks really nice; I'm just enjoying the decorations." Said Ace, thinking something up.

"Will thank you, sir." Said the waitress with a smile. Reaching a door that said VIP in a golden tag, the waitress opened it, letting them inside. Upon entering, the waitress handed them the menu.

Ace grabbed it and looked at it. "I'll take four if this please." Said Ace, showing the picture.

The waitress nodded. "Right away, sir, I'll return with your orders." She bowed, left the room, and closed the door.

After she left, Ace and Sabo jumped right off and hit Luffy on the head with their fist. "What the hell, Luffy? We almost got caught!" Said Ace with an angry tone.

Sabo nodded. "Ya, what got you to say "Oh, wow" suddenly?" Wandered Sabo.

"Will, when walking up the stairs, I looked up and saw under the waitress's skirt." Said Luffy.

This got Ace and Sabo interested in both huddling around Luffy. "Tell us what it looked like." Said Ace, wanting to know. Sabo nodded as well, also wanting to know. Luffy was about to tell them, but Ace and Sabo let out a scream of pain when they got hit on the head by Anne with her pipe. "What the hell, Anne! Luffy was about to tell us the details!" Yelled Ace. While he and Sabo were massaging their head.

"Don't tell them, Luffy. It is not nice telling other people about what you saw and did with a woman. It is not very gentlemen." Said Anne.

Sabo looked at her weirdly. "You not mad at him looking under a girl's skirt?" Said Sabo.

Anne shook her head. "No, because it was an accident." Said Anne. Ace and Anne looked at her to see if she was alright. Then they heard a knock on the door. They all rushed back to human ladder mode and sat on a chair.

The waitress came in, holding a tray with four bowls of ramen. She sat them on the table, walked out of the room, and bowed. "Enjoy your food." Said the waitress before closing the door.

All four of them looked at the food with excitement. "All right then, let's dig in!" Ace said. Then, all of them started to eat their ramen. All of them slurping down their ramen with glee. Never tasting anything like it before. Then Luffy spoke up, asking for more, but Sabo shut Luffy up with his hands, and he asked for more with his deep voice. The waitress ran back in four with ramen while bowls gathered around the table. They were enjoying their ramen so much that they didn't notice Luffy use his ability to grab a bowl of ramen from the waitress. This scared the waitress, and she informed one of the cooks to check it out. Both ran up the stairs and opened the door. "Sir, I think we need to talk." Said the cook.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy both gasped. They hurry to eat their last bowl of ramen.

"They found us out!" Screamed Ace after finishing his bowl.

Sabo nodded and drank the ramen. "Yeah! Book it!" With that, everyone jumps out of the window, shattering it.

The cook yelled. "It's a dine and dash!" The cook looked out of the window. "Catch those criminals!" Yelled the cook to some police officers.

Landing on the ground, all four looked at the police and started to run far from them. "How did they get passed by the gates! We had guards gathered there!" Stop them!" All the officers started to chase the kids.

All four ran, dodging people that they were on their way. Then, someone walked in front of Luffy, causing them to crash, and both fell to the ground. Luffy got up from the ground and dusted his clothes. Luffy looked at the person he pumped into, and it was a girl around his age with a fancy dress. "Oh. Sorry. You just walked in front of me; pretty much it was your fault." Said Luffy, who helped the girl up on her two feet. Luffy got a good look at the girl and was awestruck. She has long, bright, wavy blond hair, blue eyes, and a cute pointy nose. "Wow, you have beautiful hair. Your eyes are pretty, too, and you have a cute nose." Said Luffy, giving his complete honesty and giving her a smile.

The girl blushed. She has been told many times by nobles and their kids, but every time they say it to her, it always feels like an act, and she doesn't like it when people act around her. Maybe the act was because she was the king's daughter. But with this boy, she felt his words run through her body. "Thank you for the compliment." She dusted her dress and looked at the boy. The way he was dressed, talked to her, and the way he looked at her, she guessed he was not around here. "Do you know who I am?" She asked because everyone here knew who she was.

Luffy looked at her up and down, making her blush more. "Don't know and don't care." Said Luffy.

This confirms it. Cleareing her throat. "My name is Sally Isntoinette. May I know your name?" Said Sally.

"My name is Monkey D -." "LUFFY!" Luffy was cut off when he heard Ann scream his name. Luffy looked behind Sally and saw Anne.

"Luffy, what are you doing? They are right behind you!" Said Anne, pointing at the officers who were closing in on Luffy.

Luffy turned his head and saw the officers. He got scared. "Will Sally, I gata go now see you around!" Luffy then bolted, catching up to his friends.

Officers pass by Sally. One officer stopped. "Are you alright, princess? Did that hooligan do something to you?" Said the officer.

Sally shook her head. "No, he didn't. Why are you chasing them?" Asked Sally. She looked at Luffy's back and noticed his tail. 'Is that a tail!' Sally screamed inside her head.

The officer stood straight. "They are trouble makers; just now, they made a dine and dash on a ramen place." The officer informed the princess.

Sally nodded. "Leave them; I'll pay for their bill." Sally ordered the officer.

The officer saluted. "Your very kind princess to those troublemakers!" Then, the officer took out a portable radio transponder snail. "All units calling all units chasing the four kids. The princess gave the order to leave them alone. I repeat, leave the four kids alone." The officer put back the transponder snail back in his pocket. "All done, princess." The officer said.

Sally nodded to the officer and walked back to the castle. 'I have to meet this boy, Luffy, again. That's what the girl yelled out that got his attention. First time meeting him and the first boy that got my attention." Sally thought.

Back with the four kids running away from the officers, they were getting close to the gate.

"Sabo, is that you! You're alive. Please, let's go home!" Yelled a man with a top hat.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy stopped when they heard Sabo being called.

"What the hell! Do you know this old man, Sabo?" Asked Ace.

"I think he knows you." Said Luffy, to whom Anne nodded her head.

Sabo shook his head. "He must mistaken me with someone else." Said Sabo. "Come on!" All four started to run again.

Anne turned to see the officers stop in their tracks and take out a Transponder Snail. Hering something, nodding their heads, and walking away. "I guess the officers gave up already." Said Anne to the boys.

They all turned their head to see what Anne saw. "You are right. I think they got tired from chasing us, or we are close to the gate, and it will be hard to find out there." Said Ace.

Location: Edge of a cliff next to the ocean.

Ace, Anne, and Luffy were ataragating Sabo. Ace told Sabo that they don't keep secrets from each other. Sabo then told them his story. Sabo is not an orphan. He ran away from home, and his two parents are alive. He's from a noble family, and the man calling for him is his father. Sabo apologized to them for keeping it a secret. With that, Luffy said it was okay, and Sabo apologized.

Ace and Anne didn't accept Sabo's apology. It didn't make sense for him to leave the noble life and lie about growing up in Gray Terminal. Sabo then told the whole story of why he ran from home. Sabo's two parents say to him if he studied hard and found a wealthy girl and married her, they would be so proud of him. At the time, Sabo didn't get it; he just wanted to make his mom and dad proud. So he studied super hard for them. After finishing studying, he had time, so Sabo drew a picture for his father. Entering his father's study, he presented the picture he drew to his father. Sabo had a smile on his face and wanted his dad to say something nice to his drawing. His father grasped it, looked at it, ripped it in half, and crumpled it. Saying. "If you have time to draw this, you have time to study." Said his dad. Sabo was left dumbfounded about what his dad did to his drawing, and tears ran down his cheeks. That was one.

One day, he was walking in the streets, returning home, but a boy stopped him. The boy declared that he was from the royal family, which meant that Sabo needed to do what he said. The annoying royal kid wanted Sabo to give him a piggyback ride to his house. Sabo looked at the kid and just walked past him. The royal kid gasped at Sabo's actions. The kid got mad at Sabo and started to attack Sabo. Saying that he's related to the king and wanted a piggyback ride right now. Sabo shacked off the boy off him and started to walk away from the boy. The royal kid got so mad that he attacked Sabo with a dagger. Sabo dodged the kid's attacks and got some scratches, but Sabo fought back, hitting the boy and making him cry and run to his mommy. Sabo went back home to put a bandage on himself. Then, the mother of the royal came yelling things. His mother looked at Sabo with hate and slapped him. His mother was more worried about the other kid than him, and his mom asked if they could take the royal kid to a doctor and see if he was okay. That was two.

Then he realized that his parents only loved their money, property, and status, but not him. They were making him into a tool so they could get more and climb the ranks of wealth. Sabo felt alone living the wealthy life, so one day, he sneaked out of his house at night and went out. He ended up in Gray Terminal, where everyone was having fun. He walked up to them, people telling stories of their lives and adventures in the blue seas. The Gray Terminal residents welcomed him with open arms. Sabo stayed and listened to the stories of people leaving him wanting more. Gray Terminal residents knew what it meant to be free, and Sabo wanted to know that, too.

Finishing his story, Sabo looked up and saw how Ace, Anne, and Luffy were immersed in his back story.

"Man, I had no idea." Said Ace.

Sabo got up from his spot. "Ace, Anne, Luffy, listen. The four of us, we're gonna leave this country. We're gonna sail the seas and see the world. And we've done it all. I'm gonna write a book for kids like me. Cause studying is fun when you're learning about adventure! And we're gonna have lots of 'em. We're gonna be pirates!" Declared Sabo to them, making all four smile at him and chuckle.

Ace walked to the edge of the cliff and looked at the ocean. "You don't have to tell me! I'm going to be a pirate anyway! I'll be so tough that all the other pirates and all the Marines will bow at my feet. Everyone in the world will know my name! That's gonna be the legacy I leave behind when I die! I don't care if people hate me. I don't care if they wish I'd never been born. But they won't ignore me. That means to be strong. And be a great pirate! I won't ever lose, and I won't ever run away! Who cares if the world fears me or respects me or whatever. I'm gonna be a legend!" Declared Ace.

Anne walked up next to her brother. "I'm also going to be a great pirate, brother! I will travel worldwide, seeing different places, animals, people, cultures, and foods. I want to have the most extraordinary adventures I can tell everybody about." Said Anne. She turned her head a little to see Luffy. "I want to explore the world with someone who can be by my side and experience it." Anne blushed like a tomato, making Ace and Sabo roll their eyes, but still smiled at her. The message flew over Luffy's head. "And I also want to bring Mom on my adventures." Declared Anne.

"You want to bring mom/your mom with you!" Yelled Ace, Sabo, and Luffy.

Anne smiled and nodded her head. "Yes, because I don't want to see her die here in boredom. The only thing she does in Dadan's place is clean and make food. She doesn't go outside that much. So I want her to see the world too and not be stuck in that place." Said Anne. She noticed how her mom always hid her boredom around them. Rouge always smiled at her kids and wanted them to have fun.

Ace also noticed her mom wasn't having the best time around the house. Ace let out a sigh. "You'll have to talk to Mom about this if you want her to go with you in the open sea." Said Ace to Anne.

Anne nodded. "No problem!" Anne said with a thumbs up.

"My turn! I know what I'm gonna be, too!" Luffy walked up to where Ace and Anne were standing. Luffy took a deep breath and yelled. "The king of the pirates!" Declared Luffy with a yell. While he screamed, you could hear another yell mixed with Luffy's. It sounded mighty.

Ace, Anne, and Sabo gasped in surprise.

"That's thinking, big, Luffy." Said Anne. 'If Luffy becomes king of the pirates. I'll be his queen!' Anne thought while shivers ran down her body.

"You dork. Just gotta try and show me up, don't cha." Said Ace while scratching his head.

Sabo laughs a little bit. "I dunno if you'll be king, but you're gonna do something crazy. I know that much for sure!" Then something clicked on Sabo's head. "Uh- We all wanna be pirates together, though, don't we? We're only saving for one ship, but what if all three of us wanna be captains?" Said Sabo. This got everyone to think about it.

"Damn it, I never thought of that. Sabo, I always figured you'd be the navigator on my ship, and Anne be my right-hand man." Said Ace.

"You guys are welcome to join my crew!" Said Luffy to Ace, Anne, and Sabo.

"NO THANKS!" Yelled both Ace and Sabo.

"Huh!? But I was nice about it and everything. Also, I'm gonna be the king, so I gotta be the boss!" Luffy whined.

Anne walked up to Luffy. "I'll join your crew, Luffy," Said Anne, surprising Ace and Sabo.

Luffy looked at her with a big smile. Luffy hugged her while his tail wrapped around her. "I got my very first crew member!" Celebrated Luffy with Anne still in his arms. He jumped while Anne laughed at his reaction.

"Wow, Luffy is ahead of us already." Said Sabo to Ace.

Ace nodded. "But Anne, I thought you wanted to be a captain too?" Asked Ace.

"Oh, dude! I just thought about it. If Anne joins Luffy's crew, that means your mom is also in his crew! That makes two already!" Screamed Sabo.

Ace looked like his soul had left his body. "To answer your question, Ace. I wanted to be a captain, but if Luffy was going to be a captain, I would rather be with him as my captain." Said Anne, hugging Luffy and burying her face on his chest.

Sabo started to laugh while Luffy and Anne laughed with him. Ace looked like he had seen a ghost.

Sometime later, all four were standing by a tree bass that was cut off. On it, there were four red cups. "Well, figure it out when the time comes. Maybe we'll leave on one ship, and maybe we'll leave on three." Said Ace while putting down a bottle of Sake.

"Ooh! You stole that from Dadan, huh?" Said Luffy, who was sniffing at the bottle. "Yuk! The smell is too strong!" Said Luffy, covering his nose.

"Let me tell you a secret. All it takes to become brothers and sisters is to share some sake!" Said Ace, who was pouring the cups.

"Whoa, really? That's so cool. Said Luffy.

"Wait for a minute! I don't want to become a sister to Luffy. I see him like my-my-my-my- boyfriend or husband." Anne started to blush, steam coming out of her.

Ace got to think, then. To help his twin sister. "Mmmm, what about this. When you and Luffy drink yours, that could mean you two are married, but for me and Sabo, Luffy will be our brother, and you, Anne, will be Sabo's sister. How does that sound?" Said Ace, making Anne look at the cup and then Luffy. She looked at him with a bright smile and stars in her eyes.

"That works!" Said an excited Anne.

Luffy looked confused. "What's married?" Asked Luffy.

"Married means when two or more people are in love, they get married, proving how much they love each other, becoming husband and wife." Said Sabo to Luffy.

Luffy looked at Anne, and Anne looked at him, both looking at each other eyes. "I do like you, Anne. Let's become husband and wife!" Said Luffy. Ace and Sabo needed to find out if Luffy understood.

Ace continued. "We may sail in different seas, with different crews on different ships. But wherever we go and whatever adventures we have, we'll always be brothers and sister, and nobody can take that away." Ace picked up a red cup, and so did the others. "From now on, we're honest to goodness, brothers and sister, husband and wife. Cheers to that!" With that, everyone clanged their cups with each other and held them up to the blue sky, proving their toast.

"Brothers and sister! Husband and wife!" All four cheered and started to drink their sake.

One month later.

One month has passed since they became brothers and sister. Luffy and Anne became husband and wife. They did the same thing they always did: train, beat up thugs and steal from them and other people, hunt, and help Ace and Anne's mom, Rouge, around the house. Some days, they had a day off from doing all of that. They relaxed under tree shades, went fishing, or enjoyed the view from a nice place.

Right now, the kids were sneaking around High Town to get some delicious meat that Luffy heard from the noble people talking about.

"So Luffy, why again are we going to get some meat you heard from a rich people?" Asked Ace as he looked around a corner.

"Luffy grins. "I've heard that they serve different kinds of meat that I never heard about! And the sides are good, too. They have macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, fried rice, french fries and and and." Luffy's mouth opened wide, and his tongue stuck out and started to water. All the food he was going to taste was making him crazy.

Ace and Sabo looked at him with a weird look. Anne walked up to Luffy and closed his mouth. "Luffy honey, close your mouth. You might catch a bug." Said Anne. Luffy nodded his head to her,

"What is this place called Luffy?" Asked Sabo.

Luffy took a thinking pose. It's called Texas Roadhouse or something. Said Luffy, giving a shrug.

"Ohhh, I've heard of this place too. I also heard the same thing: their food being good." Said Sabo.

"Well, I hope you guys are starving because we are here." Said Ace, pointing at a building. Sabo, Anne, and Luffy looked at the building and smelled the cooked meat, making their mouths water. "Okay, guys, human ladder time." Ace took out a robe. This robe was more excellent. It was all dark green with gold trims on the hood, sleeves, and the bottom end. They got this because the officers of this place won't be looking for a person wearing a fancy robe. "Okay, Anne, I'll be the one talking, so I'll be on top okay." Said Ace to Anne. Anne nodded.

They got into position and went inside the building. Inside, they saw a lot of people eating and enjoying their meals. They walked up to the reception. "Hello, sir. Would it be one table?" Asked the receptionist.

"Do you guys have any private rooms?" Asked Ace.

"I'm so sorry, sir. Our private rooms are redecorating at this time." Said the receptionist.

Ace nodded. "Could I take my food to go then?" Asked Ace.

The receptionist nodded. "Of course, sir. What would it be." The receptionist took out a pin and paper.

"The whole menu!" Yelled Luffy with a deep voice.

The receptionist's eyes went wide open. "Sorry, sir, could you repeat that."

'Dumbass, what the hell is he thinking!' "I said I want the whole menu. Is that a problem?" Said Ace. 'I'm going to beat him up when we're done.' Thought Ace.

"No, sir. It is no problem. It would be done in thirty minutes. Please have a seat." The receptionist showed them to a table, and they sat down. "Please, sir, have our famous bread roll with cinnamon butter." The receptionist left a basket of bread rolls with a bowl of cinnamon butter.

Ace took a bread roll, scraped the cinnamon butter to the bread, and took a bite. "Holy shit, this is good!" Said Ace. "You guys should try this." Ace sneaked some inside the robe, so Sabo, Anne, and Luffy tried it and reacted similarly to Ace. After thirty minutes, their food was done. They ate three baskets of bread rolls. They left the place carrying bags of food. They were heading back to their hiding place.

Sally was walking, looking for the boy who couldn't ever leave her mind. 'Luffy' Sally constantly repeated Luffy's name in her head. She never stopped thinking about him. Sally kept looking for him, always going for walks and skipping lessons just to find him. Sally was about to give up when she smelled something delicious. She followed the smell and saw someone carrying bags of food. 'Wow, that person sure is hungry for carrying a lot of food.' Thought Sally. She was about to give up looking for Luffy when she noticed something sticking out from the person's robe. It was scale, but it quickly brought it back inside. 'That is Luffy's tail!' Sally screamed in her head.

Sally ran up to the robed person who took a turn in an alley. Everyone disassembled and landed on the floor. They huddle in a cycle, looking at the food. "Man, I can't wait to eat this food!" Said Luffy.

"Just wait, Luffy. We need to return to the forest and eat it next to the cliff. Now that's a good view while we eat." Said Ace. The three nodded and got ready to head to the cliff.

"Luffy!" All four stopped and turned to see Sally standing there, catching her breath.

Sabo recognized Sally. "Holy shit, guys, that's the king's daughter!" Sabo informed the three.

"She's a princess?" Said Ace and Anne.

"Oh, Sally, the pretty blond girl that I bubmed into last time. How is it going?" Asked Luffy to Sally.

Sally blushed. "I've been doing good. I've been looking for you." Said Sally. She looked at the four. "My name is Sally Istoinette. And yes, my father is the king." Said Sally, bowing and lifting her dress a little with two fingers.

"So, princes, why were you looking for Luffy," Asked Ace.

Sally shifted a little and had a blush. "I was interested in Luffy and wanted to play with him." Said Sally.

"Will Luffy can't hang out with you, Your Majesty. We just bought delicious food, and MY honey looking forward to eating it. So we gata go before the food get's cold. Let's go." Said Anne. Anne felt that this girl was into her Luffy. They got into the human ladder again and started to walk away, but Sally kept following them until they reached the gate leading to the Town Center. They thought she would stop following them, but she kept close to them.

They stopped. "What do you want!" Said Anne to Sally. Anne had a pissed-off look.

Sally looked up at Anne. "I said I want to play with Luffy. I would be following you wherever you guys are going." Said Sally to Anne.

"We are going to Edge Town, Gray Terminal, and the forest? You'll get robbed immediately by how you dress with your fancy dress. So you know what's good for you? Go back home and forget about us and Luffy." Said Anne.

Sally didn't give up that easily. "That's okay. I know that Luffy is going to protect me." Said Sally as she ran under the robe and hugged Luffy. "I'll just stick to Luffy, and thugs won't notice me inside the robe." Said Sally with a smirk.

Ace and Sabo looked at each other and thought the same thing. 'What the fuck is going on!'

Anne was getting pissed and was about to yell at Sally, but all of them heard Luffy's stomach growl. "Guys, can we hurry up! I'm super hungry and feel like I will pass out!" Said Luffy, who was wobbling a little, making everyone panic.

Anne's demeanor changed really quickly. "Okay, Luffy. Walke us to the cliff, and we can start eating." Said Anne with a smile. Anne looked at Sally with an annoyed look. "You can come along. I don't want Luffy to starve to death." Said Anne with a flat toon. Sally smiled and hugged Luffy really tight. Luffy started to walk to the cliff.

Location: Cliff.

Arriving at the cliff, they set a picnic blanket on the grass, put the food, and started to eat. Luffy was going all in on the food that Anne prepared a plate for him. Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Sally also had a plate of food. Anne and Sally sat on each side of Luffy, and Ace and Sabo sat across from them.

Sally looked around her surroundings. She had never seen a lot of green so up close in her life. The only green she's seen is her front yard and backyard. Sally turned to the ocean, seeing how beautiful it was. The wind picked up and blew toward them. Sally felt the wind fly through her body, and the smell of the ocean was something new to her. Sally never stepped out of High Town because it didn't interest her, but sticking to Luffy, she saw much of her kingdom. She didn't know how to react to her kingdom and feel toward it.

Sabo was studying Sally. Seeing how she reacted towards her surroundings and if she was making faces towards her brothers and sister. He knew how nobels reacted and how they liked to be entertained by the pore. Sabo wanted to see if she is a two-face. "So Sally, why are you so interested in Luffy that you are willing to step out from High Town?" Asked Sabo.

Sally looked at Sabo and then at Luffy. "Will, when Luffy bumped into me and picked me up, he said how beautiful my hair is, how pretty my eyes are, and how my nose looked cute." Sally blushed just thinking about it. "I've been told that many times by people, but it always felt empty to me because my dad being the king and them wanting to be close to my dad so they can climb to the top and have more money in their pockets was annoying to me. I felt like no one cared for me except my dad and mom, but he is always busy with the kingdom and rarely has time for me. I spend time with my mom, but I'm always studying. " Said Sally with a sad tone. Luffy hugged her from the side, and she buried her face in his chest. Anne didn't like what Luffy was doing with Sally, but she'd allow it for now.

Seeing Anne's reaction, Luffy wrapped his arm around her and hugged her. Anne blushed and looked at Luffy, who was giving her a smile. She smiled back and laid her head on his shoulder.

"Wow, you are not the only one with problems like this, Sabo. Even the king's daughter has the same issues but different." Said Ace to Sabo.

Sabo nodded. "Sally, how is your life in your castle?" Asked Sabo to Sally.

Sally turned to look at Sabo, but she put her head on Luffy's shoulder. "Will I study things to become a fine lady, go on walks, read books, and hmm, I think that's all." Said Sally. Luffy, Anne, Ace, and Sabo looked at her strangely.

"Really, that's all? That, to me, sounds like a boring time. Do you do anything else, like play outside with friends and other kids?" Asked Anne, who was feeding Luffy a piece of meat.

Sally looked at Anne. "Nope, the other kids are also studying, and some parents don't let their kids outside, too, and I don't have any friends because most of the kids just say hello, good morning, and good evening. I think they're afraid of me." Said Sally, who took a bite of her food.

"Sabo is a noble, and he knows the life of a noble, too." Said Ace while pointing at Sabo.

Sabo was chewing on his food. Sally looked at him for confirmation. He nodded. "So why were you sneaking around High Town if you're a noble?" Sally asked. Sabo then told her his story.

Thirty minutes later. Sabo finished his story, and everyone finished their food. Luffy saved a plate for Rouge. He wanted her to have some.

Sally was left in shock. "Wow, I never thought bad things could happen to nobles too." Sally got up from her spot next to Luffy and looked at Sabo. "If you want, Sabo, I can punish your family and that kid's family for how they treated you." Said Sally with a straight face.

Sabo got up and bowed to the princes. "Thank you for the offer, Sally, but I no longer care about them. I'm happy where I'm at with my brothers and sister." Said Sabo with a smile, making Ace, Anne, and Luffy smile at him.

Sally looked confused. "Are you guys related by blood?" Sally asked them.

Ace shook his head. "No, we are not related. We drank sake together, and we became brothers and sister." Said Ace with a toothy smile. "But for Luffy and Anne. Their husband and wife."

Sally looked dumbfounded at what Ace said. She looked at Luffy and Anne. Seeing Sally look, Anne hugged Luffy and kissed him on the cheek. Sally didn't like this. "So, can I become Luffy's wife, too, if I drink sake with him?" Sally asked.

Ace saw what was happening and didn't like how this would end up. "I guess yes, but Luffy is married to my sister, and we drank sake together because we formed a bond with each other. We watch each other backs, protect each other if any of us needs help, don't rat each other out, and care for each other like family. We just met you, Sally, and we don't know if you can be trusted." Said Ace to Sally.

"Oh, okay." Said Sally with a sad tone. 'But I have a chance to prove myself to them. After proving that I can be useful to them and help them. Then I can marry Luffy!' Sally thought. She looked at the four of them. "I, Sally Isntoinette, will prove myself to you all and become a great sister and wife!" Declared Sally.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded to Sally. "Guys, let's head back home. I want to give Rouge the food we ate." Said Luffy. Everyone got up and packed everything. When they were about to enter the forest, they stopped and looked at Sally, who was following them.

"What do we do with Sally?" Asked Sabo.

"I'd like to come with you guys and see where my future husband lives." Said Sally.

"But it's very dangerous in the forest if you don't know where to go. So we should take you back to the kingdom. You not feet for this life." Said Ace. Sally got far to the kingdom because they were with her. They'll need to go deeper into the forest to get back home.

Sally shook her head. "No, like I said, I want to see where Luffy lives, and you guys can teach me how to survive in the forest." Said Sally, not wanting to leave yet.

Ace sighed and scratched his head. He didn't want to argue with her because he was sleepy because of all the food he had eaten. "Goddamnit. fine, just stick close to Luffy and follow our moves." Said Ace. Everyone started to head back home.

Location: Rouge and Dandan's houses.

Arriving back home. Nothing terrible happened on the way. Sally kept close to Luffy and followed their moves. Sally saw a lot of animals and beautiful rivers. Waterfalls and a fantastic view of the forest. 'Wow, I never considered seeing such beautiful things outside the kingdom. I don't think I'll get used to living my normal life if I can't see this anymore.' Thought Sally.

"Okay, let's stop here so they can't smell the food. I'll sneak inside and bring Rouge here so she can eat it." Said Luffy. He handed the plate to Sally. Luffy was about to leave but was stopped by Ace.

"Wait, Luffy, the food is cold. How are we going to warm it up?" Asked Ace.

Luffy shrugged. "I don't know. I'll ask your mom if she knows how to warm up food out here." Said Luffy and started to sneak inside around and find Rouge. There were a few people in Dadan's house. He went to the kitchen and didn't find her there, so he went to Rouge's house to find her. When entering, Luffy saw her in the living room reading a newspaper. "Hey, Rouge," Said Luffy in a whisper.

Rouge turned her head and saw Luffy peaking his head behind the couch. "Luffy? What are you doing, and why are you whispering?" Rouge asked.

"Will me, Anne, Ace, and Sabo went to a place to get food, and I thought of you, so I saved a plate of everything we ate. Oh, and do you know how to warm up food because the food is cold, and we don't know how to warm up food." Said Luffy with a smile.

Rouge smiled at Luffy. "Will, thank you, Luffy. You are so sweet to think of me. Why don't you bring the food here, and I'll warm it up in my kitchen." Said Rouge, getting up from the couch, folding the newspaper, and heading to her house's kitchen.

Luffy shook his head. "I can't do that. What if Dadan's family smells it." Said Luffy.

Rouge looked at him. "That's all right, Luffy. Most of them aren't here, and they won't care either." Said Rouge with a smile.

Luffy nodded. "Okay, then. I'll be back." Luffy left the house and returned with the plate and everyone. "Hey, Mom, we're back!" Said Ace and Anne.

"Welcome back, kids." Said Rouge. She noticed Sally. "Hello there. What's your name?" Rouge greeted Sally.

Sally greeted Rouge. "Hello, ma'am. My name is Sally Isntoinette. And I'm the king's daughter." Said Sally with a polite tone.

Rouge was shocked at hearing this. "Oh wow, how did a princess end up here with you kids?" Rouge asked Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy.

"Will, Mom, when we were walking, she appeared out of nowhere. Sally said she was looking for Luffy, stuck to him, and wouldn't leave his side. So Sally stuck with us, and that's why she's here." Said Ace.

"Really, why are you so interested in Luffy Sally?" Rouge asked. She grabbed the plate and started to warm up her food. All the kids are on the table. Sally started to tell her story to Rouge.

Ten minutes later, Sally finished her story. "Wow, Luffy, I didn't know you were a charmer with the ladies." Said Rouge with a smirk.

Luffy laughed a little. "I guess that's why they like me!" Said Luffy with a toothy grin. Anne and Sally didn't like what Luffy said, so both pitched a of Luffy's thigh, making him cry in pain. Ace and Sabo laughed at Luffy at how he was being treated by Anne and Sally.

Rouge was eating her last piece of meat. She enjoyed each bite of her food. Then, all head Dadan called out Rouge's name. Rouge wiped her mouth with a paper, threw her plate away, and headed outside to see what Dadan needed from her.

When Rouge stepped out of her house and looked in the direction Dadan was calling her, she saw five people and two people she recognized. Rouge grew a big smile. "Hey, Izuku and Ibara! How Are you guys!" Rouge greeted her two friends. She walked up to them and gave them a hug. You wonder how Rouge knows them because Garp told Izuku and Ibara about her and her kid's situation. Garp trusted Izuku and his family because Izuku was one of his ship's most excellent and trusted marines. So Garp left Rouge, Ace, and Anne to care for them and keep them safe from people looking for Gol D. Roger's offspring.

"We are doing fine. How about you, Rouge? and how are Ace and Anne." Said Izuku.

Separating from the hug, Rouge looked at them. " We are doing fine as well," Rouge said with a smile. "It's been six months since we saw each other. Why are you guys up here?" Asked Rouge to Izuku and Ibara.

Ibara signals her daughter Makino to come here. Makino was holding a brown basket. " Rouge, meet Makino. This is my daughter. Izuku and I have been telling you about. Will Makino wanted to see Luffy so badly that she kept asking about him for the past four months?" Said Ibara making Makino blush.

"Nice to meet you, Makino. Your parents talk a lot about you." Said Rouge with a smile.

"Nice to meet you as well. Is Luffy around?" Makino greeted, but she was more interested in Luffy's whereabouts; out of nowhere, Luffy came out roaring Makino's name.

Luffy heard and smelled Makino from the house, but he wasn't too sure if his mind was playing tricks. He went outside, saw her, and bolted to her. "MAKINO!" "LUFFY!" Luffy jumped and hugged Makino while she did the same to him. Both have a big smile.

"You're so big and strong now! It's been four months, so we decided to stop by and see how you're doing." Said Woop Slap.

Luffy looked at the mayor with a smile. "Hey, mister mayor!" Greeted Luffy.

Woop Slap looked at Rouge and introduced himself. "Hello, ma'am. My name is Woop Slap, and I'm the mayor of Foosha Village. It's good that you're taking care of Luffy and not the mountain bandits." Said Woop Slap while giving Rouge a handshake. Hering what Woop Slap said made Dadan angry.

"Nice to meet you, Woop Slap. You must have a lot of stories of Luffy." Said Rouge.

They let go of the handshake. Woop Slap let out a sigh. "To many, Luffy always finds new ways to entertain himself in the village." Said Woop Slap with a smile.

Then, the fifth person introduced themself. "Hello, ma'am. I'm the Doctor. I'm the doctor's village." Said the Doctor, who gave Rouge a handshake.

"Nice to meet you. Oh, sorry, Doctor Who?" Said Rouge.

"Just the Doctor. If you don't mind, I can do a check-up on you and your kids?" Said the Doctor.

"I don't mind." Said Rouge.

"Thank you." Said the Doctor with a bow. "I'll check on Luffy first, and then you guys." The Doctor started to set up things out of his black bag.

"Hey there, Luffy, how are you doing?" Asked Izuku, who ruffled Luffy's hair.

"Are you eating well, Luffy?" Asked Ibara.

Makino and Luffy were still hugging each other and turned to Makino's parents. "Hello, Izuku and Ibara! I'm doing good. Been having a lot of fun here, and I've been eating well, all thanks to Rouge." Said Luffy with a smile.

"That's good, Luffy!" Both Izuku and Ibara said at the same time.

Ibara noged her husband and whispered to him. "Look, Izuku, they still hugging each other." Izuku nodded his head. "I bet you then end up together in the future." Izuku looked at his wife with Are you sure expression, and Ibara smiled and gave a lot of nods to him. The grown-ups started to talk to each other.

Luffy and Makino let go of the hug. "I brought presents for you, Luffy!" Sadi Makino with a big smiel. Makino started digging in the basket, making Luffy excited about what he would get. Makino giggled. "Knowing Garp, he probably didn't leave you with a darned thing, did he?" Said Makino

Luffy nodded his head. "Ya, Grandpa just dragged me up here." Said Luffy, answering Makino's question.

Makino then pulled out a yellow t-shirt with a purple star. "Ta-dah! Bet you could use some new clothes!"

Luffy looked at the shirt with stars in his eyes. "That shirt's awesome!"

Makino giggled. "Glade, you like it! I brought some for your friends, too. And I also brought your book." Makino took out Luffy's Devil Fruit Encyclopedia book, making Luffy run up to her and give her another hug.

"Thank you Makino!" Said Luffy between her breasts.

Makino hugged him, too. "No problem, Luffy." Makino looked up and saw four kids looking at her and Luffy. Two boys and two girls. The two girls were glaring at Makino. "Can you guys come here for a second?" Makino asked. Sabo, Anne, and Sally went to Makino. Luffy let go of the hug and started to take off his shirt, making Anne and Sally blush. She saw that Ace didn't come. "And you, too!" Makino grabbed the yellow t-shirt with the purple star and put it on for Luffy. "There you go, Luffy." Luffy looked at his shirt and smiled at her. "Do you want new shorts?" Asked Makino. Luffy nodded. She turned Luffy around and measured his tail so she could cut a hole through his new shorts for his tail. Finishing, Luffy removed his old shorts, making Anne and Sally blush more, and put on the new blue sweat shorts. Makino helped him with his tail through the hole.

Makino started to measure Sabo and Anne to see if she needed to change the clothes. Sabo got a purple undershirt and black sweat shorts. He wanted this because he could move better. Anne picked a white T-shirt with flowers because she liked them and pink sweat shorts. It was Ace's turn. He took off his shirt, and Makino grabbed a light green t-shirt that Ace liked. "I heard this Ace kid was pretty naughty, but you seem like a good boy." Said Makino, making Ace sweat and blush a little.

"Who the hell told you that!" Ace asked.

"Your mom told my parents, and they told me." Makino gave Ace a smile.

On the side, Luffy, Anne, Sally, and Sabo were giggling at Ace. Finishing with Ace, who was now wearing a green t-shirt with red sweat shorts. Then it was Sally's turn. "Oh wow, your dress is so pretty. What is your name."

"I'm Sally Isntoinette." Said Sally.

"Hello, Sally, would you like clothes like the others?" Makino asked. Sally nodded. Taking her measurements and Sally picking her new clothes. Sally wore her new T-shirt with a sun in the middle and yellow sweatpants. Wearing this cloth felt weird to Sally, but she felt more comfortable and closer to Luffy. Now it was the Doctor's turn to do checkups. Luffy was good. He grew a little, his tail grew bigger and longer, and Luffy got a shot. Ace and Anne were in good health and in good shape. The Doctor gave them shots. Sally was good and told the Doctor that her doctor had given her a check-up and a shot. Sabo was in good health and in good shape; he hadn't gotten his shot recently, so the Doctor gave him one. The last person was Rouge the Doctor did a check-up on her. Rouge was in good shape but needed to do more activities and go outside. Her health is good, but the Doctor had a feeling about her mental health. The Doctor needed to talk to Izuku about this.

"Okay, who's hungry!" Yelled Ibara.

"ME, ME, ME!" Screamed Luffy.

"You just ate an hour ago." Said Ace.

"Ya, but now I'm hungry." Said Luffy

"The food will be done around nighttime." Said Ibara. Izuku, Ibara, and Makino went to the Dadan's kitchen to prepare the food.

"Kids, why don't you take Sally back home so she can ask her parents permission to eat here?" Rouge said. The kids nodded and took Sally back to High Town. Sally carried a box that had her dress inside. "Dadan will need a lot of meat. Could you ask your family to go hunting?" Asked Rouge to Dadan.

"Of course, Rouge." Dadan turned to look at her family. "Go hunt for some animals and bring them back. We are going to have a feast!"

"Right away, boss!" All yelled and went into the forest.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, Luffy, and Sally returned two hours later. Sally's dad was in an importing meeting, and no one could interrupt him. So Sally asked her mom if she could eat at a friend's house. Her mom gave her permission to go. They were getting close, and they could smell the food. All five stomachs started to growl. Entering Dadan's house, they saw a long table and plates being set on the table.

Welcome back, kids. Did Sally give her permission to eat here?" Asked Rouge

Sally nodded. "Yes, ma'am. My mom gave me permission to come here." Answered Sally to Rouge.

Rouge smiled. "That's good. Now, all of you go wash your hands. The food is almost ready." Rouge ordered the kids. All five went to wash their hands. When they came back, they saw Izuku, Ibara, Makino, Rouge, and Dadan setting down plates of food. Everyone started to sit down. Luffy sat down; on his left, Makino sat next to him. On his right, Anne sat next to him. Sally didn't like not sitting next to Luffy, so Sally sat next to Anne. Ace and Sabo sat next to each other.

Ibara wispered to Izuku. "Look, honey! Makino is competing with Anne and Sally for Luffy's heart." Said Ibara.

Izuku nodded. "Hope everything goes well for her." Izuku wispered back to Ibara. "Okay, everyone, the food is done. I hope everyone enjoys it. Now, let's eat!" Everyone started to dig in.

"Ah, man, I wanna eat good food like this when I'm at sea, too. As soon as I get my pirate crew together, I'll first find the best cook in the world!" Said Sabo while chewing on his food.

"Too bad I'm gonna become a pirate and recruit the best cook before you do." Said Ace while holding a piece of meat.

"Yeah, you wish! I'm gonna be a pirate before either of you dopes, and I'll find the best cook for my crew!" Said Luffy with enthusiasm.

Anne nodded in agreement with Luffy. "Yes, Luffy will find the best cook for our ship." Said Anne.

"Wait, you guys want to become pirates?" Asked Sally.

Anne nodded to her. "Yes, we want to become pirates. I'm in Luffy's crew." Said Anne she felt she was ahead of Sally. She was already ahead, but not really. There was someone ahead of Anne and Sally.

Sally felt that she was losing. "Then I'll join Luffy's crew and become a pirate, too." Said Sally. Sally gained points.

Anne and Sally looked at each other, shooting lighting through their eyes.

Makino just kept quiet and listened to the kid's conversation.

Outside, we see Garp walking up to Dadan's house. Entering the house, he heard Luffy, Anne, Ace, and two other kids wanting to become pirates. Everyone on the other side of the table spat out their drinks when they saw Garp standing there. Everyone hushed.

Garp clears his throat. Ace, Anne, and Luffy's faces turn into horror, and they start sweating. They turned their head, saw Garp, and they spat their drinks from their mouths. "You little bastards are still spouting that pirate crap? You're three gonna be Marines someday, even if I gotta beat some dignity into you!" Then Garp hit Ace, Anne, and Luffy on top of their head, making them groan in pain and fall to the ground. "Dadan!" Garp called out.

"Yes, Garo, Sir?" She was also hit on top of her head, letting out a groan of pain. She also hit the floor. "Why did you have to hit me, too?" Asked Dadan.

"Couse you're doing a crappy job of teaching the kids, clearly!" Garp answered Dadan's question while holding a fist.

Sabo, Sally, and Makino looked so scared. "Wait, that guy is Garp? I didn't know Ace, Anne, and Luffy's grandpa was so cranky." Said Sabo

Anne looked at Sabo. "T-T- That's their grandpa!" Sally stuttered.

Garp turned to the two, making them eep. "Hey, squirts. I heard you two spouting some of that pirate nonsense, too." Said Garp with a death stare.

Luffy then appeared out of nowhere in front of Sabo and Sally. They're not squirts! They're Sabo and Sally. We made a promise over a cup of sake, so we will be pirates someday, whether you like it or not! For Sally, she needs to prove herself first, and then she can drink sake and become a pirate too!" Said Luffy.

'Doesn't he ever shut up?' Thought Ace.

Garp started to crack his fingers. "Really! Well, I'm a Marine, so if you boys want to act like a bunch of criminals, then I'll tan your hides like a bunch of criminals!" Said Garp. All five looked at Garp with cold sweat and scared faces. All five started to scream in horror. "Better start running!" Yelled Garp.

All five ran out of the house, heading into the forest. Garp was closing in behind them. Garp started to throw punches at the kids. Ace, Anne, Sabo, and Luffy, who was carrying Sally in his arms, dodged punches. Why was Luffy holding Sally in his arms? Because she is not experienced with dodging hits and is not fast enough to outrun Garp.

Sabo got grabbed by Garp, who just spun him around. 'I think "grandpa" might be a monster. After being chased around and getting hit by Garp for an hour, all five were knocked out on the ground, all five sporting lumps on their heads. Dusting off his hands, Garp started to walk back to Dadan's house. "That's enough for today! Get some sleep so you'll be ready for tomorrow's lesson! Cause it's gonna be even tougher." Said Garp.

Dadan's house, Izuku, Ibara, Makino, Weep Slap, and the Doctor said their goodbyes and left before Garp returned. All five told Rouge to take care that they'd be back soon, and to say goodbye to the kids.

Now that everyone had finished eating and drinking, all the adults fell asleep.

Ace, Anne, Sabo, Luffy, and Sally were at the house's entrance whispering to each other.

"If we don't get the fuck out of here, the old man is probably gonna kill us." Whispered Ace.

"And even if we survive tomorrow, he's not gonna stop pounding us like that till we've all given up on our dream!" Whispered Sabo.

"But I don't wanna die!" Whispered Luffy.

"We need a secret hideout whenever Garp comes around, and we can hide there in the meantime." Whispered Anne.

"A hideout sounds nice." Whispered Sally.

Thin chills ran down Sabo's body. He had an idea. "Okay, guys, I have a plan." Sabo took out a rolled paper, sat it on the ground, and opened it. "I had this idea running around my head of a hideout. So I looked in the forest for a perfect hideout and found a place for it. It's a big long tree, and we can see the whole forest from the top. I made some blueprints on the hideout." Said Sabo, pointing at the paper. "And how to build it? We can get the materials at Gray Terminal. There's a lot of trash there, so it won't take long to find everything." Said Sabo with a smile.

Everyone nodded in agreement. "All right, first thing in the morning, we leave immediately and see this place and avoid Garp." Said Ace. Everyone nodded. They went to sleep. Anne and Sally slept with Luffy, and Ace and Sabo slept alone.

Over two months, Ace, Anne, Sabo, Luffy, and Anne. Collected materials from Gray Terminal. At first, they didn't know what to start, but Sally came to the rescue, finding a book called "Building Your Custom Home For Dummies." This book helped them a lot. At that time, Anne asked her parents if she could get lessons on fighting and defense to protect herself. Her parents agreed and hired the best trainer for Sally. Sally trained every day so she could keep up with her friends. When she hung out with them, she wore a mask so no one could notice her and get herself in trouble with her parents. Sally spent time with Luffy. When they spent time together, Sally fell in love with Luffy. Luffy gave her honesty and showed her another world in her kingdom that wasn't surrounded by walls and books.

Sally fought thugs with them, watched their backs, and even worked together with Anne, fighting a bunch of thugs when they all ganged up on Anne. Both formed a sisterhood. Anne and Sally talked to each other about their love interest, Luffy, and discovered they greatly loved Luffy. Anne and Sally did not want one to stop loving Luffy because they knew how much Luffy meant to each other, so they agreed to be both Luffy's wives. Sally also gained Ace and Sabo's trust for everything she was doing.

The time came when they finished building their hideout on top of a tree. Luffy's ability was a huge help in making their hideout. Without them, they couldn't bring things on top of the tree. They had a beautiful view of the forest, and it was a great time to let Sally join them as brothers and sisters. Sally proved herself to everyone. Ace sat five red cups and poured sake on the cups.

"Okay, Sally, all it takes to become brothers and sisters is to share some sake." Said Ace. Sally nodded in understanding.

"Wait. Ace, I have an announcement!" Said Anne. They all turned to Anne. "Sally and I talked and agreed to share Luffy as a husband, which means this sake is marriage to Luffy and Sally and sisterhood for both of us." Said Anne with a big smile, also making Sally smile at Anne.

"W-W-W- Wait, you two agree to be Luffy's wives!" Both Ace and Sabo said and yelled at the same time. Anne and Sally nodded. Both looked like they wanted to jump off the tree house.

"Fine, Luffy, you better care for them and be a great husband!" Said Ace with a serious look. Sabo nodded in agreement to Ace's comment and had a serious look.

Luffy smiled, wrapped his arms around Anne and Sally's waist, and hugged them to him. "I promise to be a great husband and make them happy!" Declared Luffy, making Anne and Sally smile at him.

Ace and Sabo nodded. "Okay, everyone, pick up your cups." Everyone picked up their cups. "We may sail in different seas, with different crews on different ships. But wherever we go and whatever adventures we have, we'll always be brothers and sisters, and nobody can take that away. From now on, we're honest to goodness, brothers and sisters and husband and wife. Cheers!" All five cheered, drank their sake, and sat their cups on the table.

"Okay, guys, I have a surprise." Sabo climbed up to the bird nest that was all the way on top of the tree. Everyone climbed on the bird nest and saw Sabo holding a flag. "Help me put this on." Said Sabo. Everyone helped. When it was good and secured, they let go of the flag. The flag danced with the wind. On the flag, it had the first letter of each of their name. "AASLS" with two bones behind the letters. All five went, whoa, and enjoyed the flag.

Luffy turned and saw pretty much the whole island. Luffy could see Goa Kingdom, Foosha Village, and the East Blue. Luffy let out another whoa. This got everyone's attention, and they saw what Luffy was seeing. They also let out another whoa. They felt the wind blow through their body and breathed the fresh air. They all felt that they were going to have a great adventure in the future.
