RAVENCROFT INSTITUTE FOR THE CRIMINALLY INSANE, NEW YORK
Usually, the so-called villains were sent to two main places; one being Rykers Island, which had the VAULT to contain the powerhouses. The other was the infamous Ravencroft Institution which held so many of the city's lunatics. Such an institute believed they could reinstate even the superpowered psychos back into society… that was the intention anyway.
A terrifying asylum that was purposefully placed miles away from New York, away from the so-called sane people.
Amid all of this knowledge, a small yellow taxi drove near Westchester County, and to the institute.
There was this tall, slim man who walked out of the taxi and approached the front desk, deliberately asking to tour the area and interview one specific patient. The people in the front were hesitant, even when he presented his credentials. He even claimed he was close to the situation in Hell's Kitchen, working in the New York Bulletin. They had to call over their leader, Dr. Kafka, and ask if she'd approve of this… which took a bit of convincing till they agreed, as long as she led the tour.
The dark-haired therapist confessed, "We get little visitors here, so excuse me if I'm… surprised… Mr-"
"Mr. Romann," the man introduced.
"Oh, my apologies"
"No need to apologize. I just want to meet the boy and ask him a few questions, for my paper at the Bulletin. You'd understand. All for the sake of research"
"Of course, Mr. Romann. Right this way," she directed.
Moments passed, as they spent touring through the institution before they reached their destination.
"Must say, you look very familiar. It's like I've seen you around before…" she mentioned.
"Really?" Mr. Romann smirked.
"I can't really put my finger on it… It's the face, mostly…"
"I get that a lot"
"Must be a compliment"
"It sure is"
They walked past the patient cells and the blonde-haired man observed all the cells, filled with one maniac to another. Most of them paid no attention to the individuals who passed by them.
However one caught his attention. A wavy red-haired crazed man wandering around in it. The psycho has an incredibly skinny physique and uneasy demeanor. Some of his hair was pulled out. From Mr. Romann's view, he could make out the scars on his hands and nose, and bruises on his arms. Romann's eyes glared up to see the patient's name: Cletus Kasady.
Then Mr. Romann stepped toward the next cell and peeked at a sweaty, spiky-blonde-haired man doing nonstop pushups in his cell. He seemed very driven, paying no attention to the man in front of him and kept doing his rigorous exercise. His name: Eddie Brock.
That name sparked something in Mr. Romann and left him in deep thought, which Dr. Kafka noticed.
"Excuse me, Mr. Romann, are you alright?"
"Yes, I am"
"I know this can be a lot to take in. But we're not far. So come on, follow me"
He strolled past the rest of the cells, which comprised of the electrifying Electro, the grizzled John Jameson, and other whining individuals. At the sight of them, he let out a small devious grin. After a few more steps, they arrived at the young patient, Mr. Romann came to see. Instantly, Dr. Kafka caught the troubled boy's attention with her presence alone.
"Harold, you have a new visitor," she acknowledged.
The young man's eyebrows raised at the mention of that.
'Wha- new? Mom already visited on Monday… Who'd want to visit me? Pete?-'
She introduced the man, "This is Mr. Romann, and he'll be interviewing you for the New York Bulletin… is that right, sir?"
"Yes, it is, ma'am"
"I'll leave you to it. For precaution, please don't go too close to the cell," she warned.
"I'll keep that in mind"
The young man gazed over at the slim figure with long blonde hair, blonde eyebrows, and patchy stubble. When Harry's eyes scanned him, he looked like an average reporter, till… he stared at the man's eyes… and his familiar, empty, disapproving gaze he gave.
Once the doctor left them both, Mr. Romann's entire demeanor transformed. His droopy posture straightened up in a blink of an eye.
"Wait… what?" Harry mouthed.
Then a little mischievous grin grew on the man's face and stared straight at Harry.
The man confessed, "I didn't believe you had it in you, Harry with the stunt you pulled out there weeks ago. But you proved me wrong… again. You're on a roll son."
Harry frantically exclaimed. "WAIT–WHAT THE FUCK!"
His father scolded, "Ah-ah-ah-watch the language, son."
"I saw you die! Me and Peter–I mean… I meant… Spider-Man… saw you die. He killed you," he stammered. In the back of his mind, he grimaced at the fact that he slipped up so easily.
"So the rumors were true—No matter. Nobody can kill me that easily, not even Peter. My death was merely a mirage. Now, look what it did for you. It pushed you to become the best man you can be!"
"No, no, no… this isn't the best man I could be. I'm so much worse, 'cause of you!"
Norman only deviously giggled hearing such a statement.
"You deserve to be in this place… locked in here, with me," Harry uttered.
"No, I don't. And you don't either. Anyone who's telling you that is wrong," Norman asserted. He inched closer to the cell. "Like you needing therapy. Dr. Hamilton was a bad joke, to begin with," he smugly added.
"Why would you do this to Mom? She was crying for weeks after you were gone.."
"Your mother… always the needy one"
"Probably cause you were so COLD TO HER!"
"I did my best… and things got stale. She was good while it lasted"
"That's so BULLSHIT!" Harry lashed out. His voice trembled, "Wh-why would you say that about Mom?! I-I can't believe… I looked up to you!"
"I'm glad that you did. Truly. Look at what you accomplished…"
"I've done nothing-"
"Don't sell yourself short, Harry… you've done everything… for me"
"What?"
"You haven't grasped it yet, have you? You were always the slow one. Allow me to break it down for you, son. With Silvermane, Master Planner, Kingpin, Tombstone, and Hammerhead out of the picture," Norman condescendingly listed off. "The criminal underworld is going to need a new king… And since I know your pesky friend is Spider-Man, it won't be hard to find him," he confidently acknowledged.
'It's a shame too, because I actually liked Peter. Good kid. But all's well, ends well'
"Once he's out of the picture. This city's going green real soon, which I have you to thank for, son," Norman deviously grinned.
Harry's eyes popped out of their sockets, as his heart dropped. More than the feeling of confusion earlier, it's one of terror and demoralization. Harry can only imagine the horror his dad will cause to New York City and Pete because of him.
Harry could only stare in horror at his father, Norman Osborn, as he walked away with a smile on his face… with the knowledge he knew… New York City's about to go green, and ready to once again, hear the Green Goblin's psychotic shriek.
WUA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!
THE END…
AUTHORS MESSAGE
After doing alot of thought, I realized that my passion for fanfiction writing has reached its end. Its a shame, because I love to write, but my heart isn't in this anymore. And as much as this is a remastered version of my previous iteration of the story, there will always be changes I want for this story, after I eventually re-read it. Its a never ending cycle of being unsatisfied with myself. But I guess I must live with the regret because that's life, and I must move on. But I am thankful for the many years of stories, that have allowed me to have this free, creative outlet of my neverending ideas. And I am thankful for many of those who read them because those comment truly meant the world to me. Genuinely made my days better.
And I know I'm rambling on, and I've made it pretty clear that I probably won't do a sequel to FALL-OUT anymore. BUT if there are people who are more passionate about this story than I am, and want to see a glimpse of what the potential sequel would've been, here it is:
A sequel to Fall-Out (LEGACY) and No-More (Enduring) - didn't figure out a name.
Kingpin, Black Cat (comes back from Florida), Norman Osborn, Eddie Brock, Daredevil ALL return…
MAIN THEME: TRUTH will set you free
Introduce Kletus Kasady (accepts the truth that hes a monster)
Introduce Ultimate Green Goblin (Norman Osborn accepts his truth of being a monster - norman Osborn's truly dead, only the goblin lives)
Peter and Eddie reconcile (and Eddie uses venom for good) - they connect on how peter's parents killed his parents

Its Peter's first year in college (hes dating around - dates Mary Jane, Felicia, Betty)

Felicia catches Peter up with why she left... Peter and Felicia hang out more and patrol together (They're very romantic) and they are Endgame :)
Jefferson Davis is named the new Midtown Police chief, taking over for Captain Stacy

DEAL WITH THE FALL-OUT of Aunt May finding out of Peter being Spidey - she has to adjust to him doing that - and he wont stop - kinda like the (browntable video)
Introduce Michael Morbius?
Sinister Six with Monster Green Goblin?
The symbiote gets back to Eddie... somehow? (cuz the plot said so)
ALOT MORE DAILY BUGLE!
END WITH PETER DYING?
And Miles takes up the mantle at the end?
Harry tries to warn Peter from Ravencroft
Pretty all over the place, but yeah…
If there's anyone in the world who would do a continuation fic of this story, BE MY GUEST, AND DO IT. I'd love to read it someday, and be SO EXCITED to read the possibilities of how this story truly ends from another writer's perspective.
Again, couldn't be more grateful enough for my readers. Goodbye!
