Three months after the Negatives had appeared and Gabrielle was revealed to be Shadow Moth, Adrien and Marinette were talking in her room.
"There has been no sign of my father for months," said Adrien.
"Maybe he fled the country," said Marinette.
"If so it's because he has a plan and one day will be back," said Adrien.
"And when he does, the two of us will defeat him for good then," said Marinette while hugging him.
"So, let's not worry about him for now," she said.
"You're right, he only has Nooroo left and we have brand new powers to help us out," said Adrien before kissing her.
"Alright, it's time for bed, you two," said Sabine from the stares.
"Better go before they kick me out," said Adrien.
"They love you too much for that," said Marinette with a giggle.
"Worst they would do is make you work harder in the bakery after school and on the weekends," she said.
"Would that really be a bad thing?" asked Adrien.
"You have put on a few pounds since you started living here," said Marinette with a teasing smile.
"With all the running around I do as Cat Noir that should be impossible," said Adrien before closing the hatch after him.
"It's really great that your parents allowed him to stay here," said Tikki.
"Yeah, and they have been so supportive of him and the two of us being heroes," said Marinette with a smile.
"If only things could stay so peaceful forever," said Tikki.
"You think we'll see Hawkmoth again anytime soon?" asked Marinette while heading up to her bed.
"I do, and I think he'll come back with something new for us to face," said Tikki.
"And I can't shake the feeling that it will be worse than anything he has done before, even the Negatives won't be like what we will face when he returns," she said with a worried expression.
"I don't like the sound of that," said Marinette who was also worried after hearing what the Kwami had to say.
