Esther: Hmm.

(Mr. Nezzer pokes his head out from the bathroom then looks over at Esther)

Mr. Nezzer: Something wrong, sweetheart?

(Esther looks at her reflection in the mirror)

Esther: Nebby, do you think I've gained weight?

(Mr. Nezzer goes over to Esther then looks over at her reflection then back over to her then shakes his head)

Mr. Nezzer: Nope. Still think you got the cutest-looking tummy in the whole world.

(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther's cheek)

Esther: (Sighs) I'm being serious, Nebby. Look.

Mr. Nezzer: What is it?

Esther: I bought this outfit yesterday.

Mr. Nezzer: And...?

Esther: And the shirt fits just fine but...(looks down at her waist and stomach) when it comes to my pants...I can't seem to fasten the buckle.

Mr. Nezzer: Well, are you sure they're the right size?

Esther: Yeah. I double checked.

Mr. Nezzer: But that has to be the problem.

(Esther looks up at Mr. Nezzer)

Esther: You really think so?

Mr. Nezzer: Mmm-hmm.

(Mr. Nezzer moves behind Esther then she leans against him then they both stare at her reflection)

Mr. Nezzer You look just as you did on our wedding day, Essie. There's no way you can be getting fat, (nuzzles his nose against Esther's neck) at least not to me.

Esther: You're really sweet.

(Esther looks back at her reflection)

Esther: But...maybe I should change something in my diet.

Mr. Nezzer: Why don't you check the internet first just to be sure?

Esther: I guess you're right.

(Mr. Nezzer turns Esther around then invisibly pulls her closer till their noses are touching)

Mr. Nezzer: Trust me, sweetheart, there's nothing wrong with you.

Esther Yeah...but better safe than sorry.

Mr. Nezzer: Whatever you want to do, honey-bunny.

(Mr. Nezzer kisses Esther)

Mr. Nezzer: And I'll have a word with the retalier that recommended those pants.

(Esther giggles then kisses Mr. Nezzer's nose)

Esther: I think you need to continue getting ready for work.

(Mr. Nezzer looks like he's thinking)

Mr. Nezzer: Hmm.

Esther: Nebby?

(Mr. Nezzer turns to Esther smirking)

Mr. Nezzer: I think work can wait for a few more minutes. I'm the boss, remember?

(Esther smirks)

Esther: That's right, you are the boss.

(Esther invisibly grabs onto Mr. Nezzer's tie)

Esther And nobody will miss you.

Mr. Nezzer: How about I catch up on some sleep then?

Esther: I'm still feeling sleepy myself.

(Mr. Nezzer rubs his nose against Esther's)

Mr. Nezzer: (Winks) Do you want me to read you a bedtime story to help you sleep first?

Esther: (Giggles) If you want to.

(Esther begins pulling Mr. Nezzer closer to her by his tie then Mr. Nezzer closes the door behind them)

END OF SNIPPET 1

Jimmy: Morning, babe.

(Ellen kisses Jimmy's cheek)

Ellen: Good morning.

Jimmy: Already got the newspaper and the coffee started.

Ellen: (Giggles) My hero.

Jimmy: You know it.

(Jimmy turns around then pecks Ellen on the lips)

Jimmy: Hmm. Somebody just brushed their teeth.

Ellen: Are you sure that isn't just me?

Jimmy: Maybe I need another kiss to find out.

(Ellen giggles then kisses Jimmy)

Jimmy: Oh, yeah, now I can taste that minty freshness.

(Ellen nudges Jimmy with her hip)

Ellen: I notice you're wearing my robe again.

Jimmy: (Chuckles) Well, mine's missing.

(Jimmy invisibly gently tugs on Ellen's robe)

Jimmy: Ah, found it.

(Ellen chuckles then kisses Jimmy's cheek)

Ellen: By the way, did you make my coffee the way I like it?

Jimmy: Double mocha with milk and one sugar.

(Jimmy goes over to the counter then picks up one of the steaming mugs then gives it to Ellen)

Jimmy: Got ya covered.

(Ellen takes a sip then kisses Jimmy)

Ellen: You always make the best coffee for me.

Jimmy: Never forget your order, sweetie.

(The two go over to the table then Jimmy pulls up Ellen's chair)

Jimmy: Your chair, my lady.

Ellen: (Giggles) Thank you, kind sir.

(Ellen hops onto the chair then Jimmy hops onto the seat next to her then picks up the paper)

Ellen: Are you and Khalil supposed to be doing that broadcast for the hockey game today?

Jimmy: Yep. (Looks over at Ellen) On the sports page and everything.

Ellen: Congrats.

Jimmy: I think it took the motivation of someone else from the studio, another broadcaster, the most prettiest weather woman on TV.

Ellen: Who would that be?

Jimmy: Who do you think?

(Jimmy and Ellen kiss then Jimmy continues reading the paper then Ellen frowns then begins sniffing the air then she looks over at Jimmy)

Ellen: Jimmy, sweetie?

(Jimmy looks up)

Jimmy: Yeah, babe?

Ellen: You're not wearing a new cologne, are you?

Jimmy: Uh...no. Wearing the same type you got me for my birthday. You know that's my favorite.

Ellen: Hmm. In that case, something around here smells really stinky.

Jimmy: Can't be the garbage.

Ellen: No. It smells almost like...grease.

Jimmy: Hadn't had any takeout from Burger Bell lately.

(Ellen coughs)

Jimmy: (Concerned) What's wrong now, Cupcake?

Ellen: My perfume. It smells like the scent of it is clogging my nose.

Jimmy: Huh. Your perfume's not even supposed to have a strong smell.

Ellen: And I'm still smelling that grease.

(Jimmy notices Ellen's skin beginning to pale)

Jimmy: (Concerned) Babe, maybe we should open a window.

Ellen: (Groaning) Good idea.

(Ellen hops off her chair then hops onto a stool then opens up the window then suddenly falls face flat onto the counter)

Jimmy: (Panicked) Ellen!

(Jimmy quickly goes over to Ellen then steadies her)

Jimmy: (Concerned) You okay, sweetie?

Ellen: I'm fine. The smell's just stronger now.

(Jimmy looks out the window then sees a food truck then frowns)

Jimmy: (Angrily) Hey, pal! (The vendor turns to him) Yeah, you over there! Can you move that grease-trap truck of yours down another block? You're making my wife sick!

(Jimmy slams the window down then invisibly rubs Ellen's back)

Jimmy: (Concerned) All better now, Cupcake?

Ellen: Well...a little...but that smell from my perfume is still around.

Jimmy: (Concerned) Maybe I should stay home and be with you. Maybe you're starting to get sick or something.

(Ellen looks up at Jimmy)

Ellen: But this is the biggest game of the season. If you don't do a broadcast for this, Mr. Potato will most definitely let you have it.

Jimmy: (Concerned) But babe...

(Ellen kisses Jimmy)

Ellen: I'll be okay, dear.

Jimmy: (Concerned) You sure?

Ellen: How about I give the doctor a call and tell her about this?

Jimmy: (Concerned) And you'll give me a call if anything else happens?

Ellen: Nothing else will happen though, sweetie.

(Ellen kisses Jimmy's cheek)

Ellen: You don't need to worry so much.

(Jimmy's eyes soften then he smiles warmly at Ellen)

Jimmy: I'll always worry about you, babe.

Ellen: Then how about you help me feel better by going ahead and doing the broadcast?

Jimmy: (Chuckles softly) Okay. You win.

(Jimmy kisses Ellen's forehead)

Ellen: I'll call the doctor the minute you leave.
