Friendship Oneshot is alright if Ash met a boy just friends only. Haha. I have put Ash Ketchum on Movie AU Ash, OC or OOC Ash, Anime Ash, or AU Ash Ketchum. Well, Movie Ash has freedom and creativity. So I focused on Movie Ash for now or depending on.

Chapter 1

Violet Evergarden

CH Postal Company, Inside the Attic.

In the middle of the night on the CH Postal Company, the president and owner Claudia Hodgins founded this place after the war was over. This postal company was now already closed during the night, which was hushed for now. The employees are leaving already hours ago.

Meanwhile, inside the attic of CH Postal Company, where Violet and Ash Ketchum lived there. Ash Ketchum is the one who slept early, before Violet does when she slept late, after she spends her time typing her letters using her typewriter. Pikachu did the same thing as Ash did.

When Violet finally finished typing the letter, she was finally going to sleep in her bed. She had already worn her nightgown, while Ash was still sleeping already. They were on the same mattress.

Then tomorrow is going to be the same day as another day as the two still had different jobs. Ash is a Postman Delivery Boy and Violet is an Auto Memory Doll who is a typewriter. This is a just normal day for them.

1:30 AM

While Violet and Pikachu were falling asleep. A young trainer awoke from slumber as he yawned and rubbed his right eye using his left hand.

Ash: "I'm gonna go to the bathroom and need some drink." A raven-haired boy roused up and got out of bed, as he walked towards the door and opens it, and he was going outside and closed the door as he moved on.

As Ash went into the bathroom for men and then after that, he went possibly to the kitchen or canteen to drink a glass of water. After this was done for Ash. He went back to sleep in the attic, where Violet and Pikachu were still asleep. Ash opened the door and then closed it.

Ash: "Ahhh... I feel much better right now. But for now, I'm going to sleep."

As Ash finally goes off to bed. Before he went to slumber as he gazed his eyes at Violet, who is she was still sleeping.

Ash: "Violet..." he spoke her name as he sees her still sleeping like an angel before him. Ash may know she doesn't have feelings or human emotions. As Claudia told him about her problems.

Her main goal is to know what "I love you" means, which is the last word that Major Gilbert said to her before missing in action or possibly death. Ash little knows what that word means too. He still needs to understand or know about that word. In the past, He had friends, including his family, that he cherished them. There's love between him and his relatives and his family. That was called familial love. But there is another unknown thing that he doesn't understand or know about that word. This differed from familial love.

'This is not the right time for now!' he shook his head to stop overthinking and take a deep breath for himself and he let in and let out. 'Seems I have overthought myself. ' he sighed to himself.

As Ash saw, Violet was a little shaking and gritted her teeth as fear consumed her. Seems she was in a bad dream. Ash gets closer to her.

Ash: "Violet... are you okay?" He called for her to wake up but that didn't work as she was still asleep.

Violet's POV (Her dreams)

While Violet was in a deep sleep. She was in a dream state. As she walked into endless stairs and an endless hallway with stone bricks.

Violet: "No! No! Not this again. The same dream. Just please stop!" she tried to wake herself up, but that didn't work as she was stuck in her nightmare.

Again, this was the same dream as her nightmares. She was afraid of Major Gilbert again with such cruel words to be. She saw her hand was covered in blood. She was trembling and fearful as she was suffering. She killed many people without guilt or shame. She doesn't want to live in this nightmare anymore. She was suffering. As she was sitting down and tears came out of her eyes. Suddenly, there's a voice coming into her ear.

Ash: Violet...

As Violet turned around to see a raven-haired boy who stood at her. As the building started crumbling, soon to be collapsed. As Ash gave a hand to her.

Ash: You need to come with me. Let's get out of here before the building collapses.

Violet nodded without hesitation as she grabbed Ash's hand and he led her to get out of her nightmarish place in the castle stronghold as the debris and rocks fell apart. Both managed to find a way to get out of their place.

As the two got out of this place. As the sun arose from the west as Ash sees the light and said.

Ash: "Finally! We got out, safe and sound." as he breathed heavily after running seems he got tired. Violet stood in front of Ash.

Violet: "Why did you do this?"

Ash: "What do you mean, Violet?" he replied to her as she tried to say.

Violet: "Why are you saving me!? Because I killed so many innocent people with my own hands," she said to him as she felt a little exasperated, as saw her own hands covered with blood, but wait! There are no hands covered with blood. She was shocked! Why there's no blood on her hands?

As Ash turned around to see Violet as he stood in front of her and said,

"Someday, Violet, you will change and I will always believe in you. No matter what."

When Violet listens to his word as he kept saying,

"Whenever the time was in trouble or when you were in hard times. I will always be there for you."

"Please, Violet, please have faith and trust in yourself, including me and your friends. There's more time and think about that word. Just don't give up and keep searching," his final word spoke to her. He beamed a smile toward her as the sun arose behind him, shining brightly. Violet hears every word he says. She understood what Ash said.

She gave a gentle smile, and she gazed her eyes at Ash and she said: "I will". As the scene faded away in white.

End of Violet's dream scene.

Ash: Violet! Wake Up!

Violet opens her eyes and sees Ash's face. He felt happy and relieved and said " Thank Goodness! You're alright. Seems you are having a bad dream. I guess I should fetch a glass of water. I will be back" as he rushed into the door and opened and closed it.

Violet didn't say anything as her hand reached. She tried to tell him to wait, but that was too late as he goes to fetch some water. As her eyes gazed at Pikachu, as he roused up too early from the noises that Ash made for her to wake up.

Violet's heartbeat was pounding hard. This was just another dream for her. The same dream, but a different one. She felt little anxiety or fear. As she looked down without saying anything a word. Although that was a normal or a good dream. She was in deeper thought.

Pikachu rubbed his eyes. "Pika Pika". he said wanting to know what is happening here. As he turned to Violet and approached her and spoke to her "Pika Pika" saying, "Are you alright? Violet?" as he pulled the hem of her nightgown.

Violet came out of her thoughts as she saw Pikachu pull the hem of her nightgown. She knows Pikachu wanted to know what happened. Violet's head patted Pikachu with her prosthetic hand, which was cold, making Pikachu a little comfortable.

Violet: "I'm very fine Pikachu. It was just a dream." She said to Pikachu. She said again, "I have the same dream, the same nightmares which I cannot bear to see, but this was a different one perhaps, a good dream," she said to a yellow mouse, Pokémon. Pikachu listened well and understood.

Violet: "Did Ash wake you up Pikachu?" she said to Pikachu as he nodded and she replied "My Apologies to you" Pikachu heard and shook his head saying 'No' and he told her "Pika Pika" saying he doesn't need to apologize so he doesn't mind her and he was okay which made her relived.

Pikachu: "Pika Pika Pika Pikapi!" he said to her "Ash is my best friend and my partner. He always helps everyone whenever they need him. We shared each other's bond for a long time, in which I know him for a long time. So I don't mind him waking me up whenever you had a bad dream, and He woke you up."

When Violet saw Pikachu's determination and honesty when he spoke about his best friend. She smiled and understood what Pikachu says.

As the two heard the door knock and the two gazed at the door. The door opens and a young raven boy comes inside. He holds a glass of water. He smiled and said.

Ash: "I got a glass of water for you, Violet. Here, drink this." As he gave a glass of water passed to Violet, she accepted as she took a glass of water from his hand. She drinks the water as Ash closes the door and towards the bed and lay down.

Violet finished drinking her glass of water. Ash spoke to her.

Ash: "Hey Violet." Violet turned to him and he said to her, " Is this your bad dream again?" Violet said, "I have a bad dream but ended up in a good way." Ash widened his eyes. "Wait, really?" Violet nodded, saying yes with a normal expression.

"I had the same dream, a nightmare which I couldn't bear but you..." her eyes gazed at Ash. "You were here behind me and help me get out of this place," she said as she explains everything to him. Ash, who well understood that he was in her dream.

"So... I was in your dream, and then I convinced you to move on and keep searching," Ash said, an explanation to her in which "Yes," in which Violet said.

Ash blushed a little on both cheeks as he gazed into her face and replied, "Well... I am a little flattered by that and your only trusted friend." He said, "I was the only one who helped or supported you whenever you needed me." He said, "I will always be by your side as a friend to you.". Violet smiled at Ash, but she didn't understand the feelings of love. She just hugged him, with her eyes closed and both arms wrapped around him.

"Thank You, Ash. I will keep your word." Violet said to him as she felt warm when she hugged him.

Her fears and anxiety faded away from her. She felt safe around him. In return, Ash hugged her as his arms wrapped around her.

"Don't worry. I will keep my promises to you, Violet." Ash said to her with a smile, as he felt warm when she hugged him. He felt a little cold, but he was no longer with that. Pikachu joined them and hugged them. "Pika!" he said. 'Don't forget about me!'

They hugged each other for a while until both stopped hugging. Ash said spoke first to her.

"Anyway, I guess we should go back to sleep for another day of working and..." he said to her and stopped as his eyes gazed toward Pikachu "I'm sorry that I woke you up, buddy". Ash head pat Pikachu's head and Pikachu told him he doesn't mind at all.

Violet agreed with Ash that it was time to go to sleep. She said, "You're right. We should rest right now.". As Ash said to her, "Good Night, Violet. Sleep Well!" as he laid down to sleep horizontally and arranged the blanket to cover half of his body and Violet did the same thing as Ash. As she turned around to see Ash while he was sleeping, she softly smiled and said,

"Good Night, Ash."
