Amity's Intro
Water. Earth. Fire. Air.
Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed her most, she vanished. A hundred years passed, and me, Willow and Gus discovered the new Avatar, an airbender named Luz. and although her airbending skills are great, she has a lot to learn before she's ready to save anyone.
But I believe Luz can save the world.
Some koala sheep are sleeping, as Luz, Amity, Gus, Willow, Eda, Camila, Boscha and Appa come out of the bushes. Willow looks at a map, while everyone else looks around. King jumps over on Luz's shoulder, as Luz scratches her head.
(Somewhat excitedly.) "This is it! The official rendezvous point for the invasion force." Willow said
The camera pans to the left, showing a vast area of the place.
"How did you pick this place?" Boscha asked
"Before we split up, dad, Willow and I found this island on the map. It's uninhabited, and the harbors surrounded by the cliffs seemed like the perfect secluded place." Gus said
"Nice choice, you two. And we're here four days ahead of schedule." Amity said
(Anxiously.) "Wait! Four days? The invasion is in four days?" Luz asked
(Yawns.) "Whatever. That's like four days from now. Let's just calm down and-" Willow didn't finish
Willow falls asleep and begins snoring.
"Willow's got the right idea, Luz. We're here. We're ready. The best thing we can do now is get plenty of rest." Amity said (Lies down.)
(Half-heartedly.) "I guess." Luz said
Everyone else falls asleep. Luz lies down and, as she closes his eyes, the camera zooms in on her face.
Scene briefly fades to black before changing to a large Fire Nation insignia, which is revealed to be a door when the camera zooms back. The door bursts open, revealing a girl with large hair, a headband, and a yellow jumpsuit, with her face turned to the other side. She enters the room with a series of dramatic gestures. It is revealed that this girl is Luz in a strange attire. Luz quickly jumps on to a rock tower. Cut to a wider shot of Luz standing on the rock tower, surrounded by floating broken pillars.
(She makes some fast and dramatic ninja-like moves as she speaks.) "Your days of tyranny are over, Fire Emperor! I'm bringing you down." Luz said
Cut to close-up of the Fire Emperor, who is about to take a bite of a bundle of grapes with his eyes closed. Hearing Luz's words, he stops and opens his eyes to look down at his adversary. The camera pans out quickly to reveal he is actually a giant when compared to Luz and surrounded by a pit of fire.
"Really?" (Brings his face close to Luz.) "How do you plan on doing that when you're not even wearing pants?" Dream Belos asked
Cut to Luz's scared face, as she looks down to see that Belos was telling the truth, and screams.
"Oh no!" Luz said
Luz quickly covers herself with a white Air Nomad shield pulled out of thin air. The camera zooms out to a larger shot of Luz shaking with embarrassment. Suddenly, giant eyes begin to appear all around her. The eye's close and disappear. Cut to a shot of the giant Fire Emperor laughing, as Luz slowly backs out the door. The Fire Emperor raises his arms to the ceiling, while surrounded by flames, laughing heartily. Luz wakes up and starts touching her pants. King is seen awake as well.
"It was just a dream, King. I still have my pants." (Stands up.) "Well, I better keep training." Luz said
Luz walks over to a bush and starts kicking it. King gets bored of watching her, and soon falls back asleep. Scene changes to the Fire Nation Palace, where Lilith is getting dressed and ready, with help from her servants.
"Fresh fruit, Admiral Lilith?" the first servant asked
Lilith puts out her hand and shakes her head respectfully.
"May I wash your feet, ma'am?" the second servant asked
Lilith respectfully puts her hand out and shakes her head again.
"Head massage?" the first servant asked
Lilith shakes her head again.
"Hot towel?" the second servant asked
Lilith looks at the towels for a moment and takes one. She is seen wiping her forehead before walking out of the room. The two servants bow behind her. Lilith walks out the palace gates, with Fire Nation citizens waiting for her. One woman becomes overly excited at seeing Lilith, and is taken away by the palace guards.
"Admiral Lilith, is something wrong? You didn't take the palanquin." the first servant said
"I'm just going to Lai's house. It's not far." Lilith said
"It's not an admiral's place to walk anywhere, ma'am." the first servant said
Lilith looks to the distance, walks over, and gets into the palanquin. The servants pick it up and walk over to Lai's house. Lilith looks out of the palanquin's curtains and sees Lai, who is standing by the doors to her house, who waves and walks away.
The scene changes back to Luz, who is still training. She is now banging her fists against a tree, which wakes up Amity, Gus, Willow, Eda, Camila and Boscha. Amity looks at Willow, who just shrugs. She decides to go talk to Luz about this.
"Hey. How long have you been up?" Amity asked
"A couple hours. I have a lot more skills to refine if I'm gonna fight Belos." Luz said
(Catches one of Luz's fists stopping her, panting.) "You know, there is such a thing as over-training." Eda said
Luz hits the tree one last time, which sends a vibration throughout her body and makes her fall down, with all of the leaves off the tree collapsing on her. Amity and Eda just gazes down at her, and Willow, holding her map, Gus, Camila and Boscha, who is facing the other direction, look out from behind them. Luz comes out from under the leaves and walks around Amity in a fighting stance.
"You don't get it, do you? My form is bad, I'm sloppy, and I still don't know any firebending. Not even the basics." Luz said
Luz's left eye twitches a little bit after saying this. Amity brings Luz's hand down, with a forced smile on her face. Willow is seen, lying down, still looking at the map.
"That's okay, Luz. The eclipse will block off firebending anyway. You don't need to know it." (Looking at Luz.) "Plus, it's a stupid element." Willow said (gets hit in the face by a bundle of leaves Amity threw at her in anger.)
"Okay, well I still have to work on everything else. I better spend the whole day training." Luz said
Luz bows quickly toward Willow, followed by Amity and Eda, and rides off on an air scooter. Willow moves the map up in front of his face to hide behind it. The view changes to the blue sky, which changes to a starry night. Luz is walking back from her training, now exhausted. Everyone else is asleep. Luz rubs her eyes and yawns before collapsing.
(Wide shot of the group on the cliffside with the camera slowly zooming out.) "Good night, Amity. Good night, Gus. Good night, Willow. Good night, Eda. Good night, mom. Good night, Boscha. Good night, Appa. Good night, King. Good night, Appa and Ki-" Luz didn't finish
(With a chibi face in a speech bubble that appears above her, angrily.) "Go to sleep already!" Boscha yelled (Clenches her teeth.)
Cut to Luz, who flinched upon hearing Boscha, but goes back into her normal position and closes her eyes. The camera pans up.
The scene fades briefly to black again, before cutting to shot of Luz busting through the same large Fire Nation door from his previous dream. This time, she is wearing boats, white pants, a high collared yellow tunic that covers her mouth, white sleeves with blue arrows on them, and has her chest wrapped in a chain. Her hair is long and stands up straight, wears her headband, and has two small metal rings in the top of her right ear. As she stands in the opening where the doors once were, she snaps her fingers and smoke starts to pour into the entrance. Luz slides in and jumps over some small pillars to face Dream Belos, who is still a giant.
(Frontal shot as she points outward.) "Your days of tyranny are over, Fire Emperor." (Scowls.) "I'm bringing you down!" (Looks down momentarily, confidently.) "And this time, I brought pants." Luz said
Camera shows a view of some chains wrapping around Luz's clothing, including her pants. The shot turns to Dream Belos.
"So it seems, but are you prepared for your ... mathematics test?" Dream Belos asked
A giant abacus lands behind Luz. Camera turns to show Luz's worried face.
"Math test? Oh no! I forgot all about the math test!" Luz said in panic
Dream Belos is heard laughing in the background as Luz is screaming while being pulled backward and crushed by some beads on the abacus. She suddenly wakes up.
"I've gotta be ready." Luz said
Luz gets up and walks away. She is seen pacing around some sleeping koala sheep. Amity and Camila comes over to talk to her.
"Luz, it's the middle of the night. You need to go back to sleep." Camila said
"But I forgot my pants and my math test." Luz said
Amity sighs and grabs Luz's shoulder.
"Luz, sleep. Please. For me." Amity said
Luz looks at her, rubbing her eyes. She bows her head, and the three walk back. A koala sheep makes a sound. The scene changes to the Royal Palace, where Lilith and Lai are relaxing on a couch.
"Tell me, if you could have anything you want right now, what would it be?" Lilith asked
"Hm ... A big fancy fruit tart, with rose petals on top." Lai said
"You know, being an admiral and all, I might just be able to make that happen." Lilith said
(Chuckles.) "That would be impressive." Lai said
(To the servants.) "Do you think you could find a fresh fruit tart for the little lady, with rose petals on top?" Lilith asked
"Excellent choice, ma'am." the servant said
"I guess there's some nice perks that come with being royalty." [Pushing Lilith to lay down with her.) "Though there's annoying stuff, too. Like that all-day war meeting coming up." Lai said
(Sitting up, followed by Lai.) "War meeting? What are you talking about?" Lilith asked
"Kikimora mentioned something. I-I assumed you were going, too." Lai said
"I guess I wasn't invited." Lilith said
The two look away from each other. The scene changes back to the Black Cliffs, where Luz is still sleeping.
"Wake up, Luz. Wake up, sleepy head!" (Cut to an out of focus swaying shot of the Fire Emperor standing over Luz.) "Rise and shine! You overslept." (The Fire Emperor bends in close and then even closer.) "You missed the invasion." Belos said
Belos begins to laugh, and is seen riding a giant, flying hippo cow, which breathes out fire at Luz, making her move from her spot. She watches as Belos flies away, still laughing. Luz quickly wakes up, and goes to wake up Willow.
"Willow, get up! I needa know what day it is!" Luz shouted
"What? Who's talking?" Willow asked
Willow grabs her sword and jumps up, but hits her head on a nearby rock and falls down. Amity, Gus, Eda, Camila and Boscha are seen waking up.
"Relax! It's still two days before the invasion!" Boscha said
Luz begins pulling on Willow's legs, trying to get her up.
"Willow, you and mom gotta get up and drill your rock-climbing exercises." Luz said
"What?" Camila asked
"In one of my dreams, you two were running from Fire Nation soldiers, trying to climb this cliff," (Camera turns to show an annoyed look on Willow's face.) but both of you were too slow and they got you both!" Luz said
Willow stands up quickly and steps in front of Luz.
"But that was just a dream. I'm a great climber!" Willow said
(walks over to Willow, whispering.) "best not tempt her, she's not acting like herself for the last few days." Camila whispered
(While pointing at the cliff nearby.) "Then climb that cliff! Climb it fast!" Luz shouted
Camera turns to show the size of the cliff. When it sets back on Willow and Camila, they look at Luz, pointing to the cliff. Luz nods fast, and both of them reluctantly begin to climb it.
"Stupid Avatar! Stupid cliff! Stupid dream! I can climb fast!" Willow said
Luz is seen looking up at Willow and Camila with an anxious smile, before frowning at seeing how slowly they were going. Boscha tries to get a drink of water.
(Turning around to her.) "Don't drink that!" Luz yelled
Camila is seen behind Luz falling off the cliff a bit after hearing Luz. Boscha spits out the water onto Amity, Gus and Eda, which Eda waterbends it off each other.
"Why? Is it poisoned?" Boscha asked
"In my dream, we were right in the middle of the invasion, and you had to stop to use the bathroom!" (She puts her hands between her legs and squeezes them together.) "We died because of your tiny bladder." (She turns to Amity.) "And you need to start wearing your hair up. In my dream, your hair got caught in a train, and-." Luz didn't finish
(Putting a hand on the side of her face.) "Luz! I know you're just trying to help, but you really need to get a grip. You're unraveling." Amity said
"I'll say, you haven't been yourself since we got to the spot a few days before the invasion." Eda said
"You need to get some sleep, it's making you really stressed." Gus said
(She takes a deep breath before finally speaking.) "You're right. I'm losing my mind." Luz said
Willow and Camila are still climbing the cliff, and Willow almost reaches the top, but is seen sliding down. Cut to the sun in the sky. Cut to Luz's face, her eye twitching, as she paces around, stressed. Cut to her hands rotating between putting her thumb and finger together before alternating to the opposites on the other hand.
"It's like every time I think about how stressed I am, I just end up more stressed. I'm like a big growing snowball of nerves." Luz said
As she paces, Amity and Camila sit, concerned, petting King and watching Luz, while Willow hammers away at a piece of armor for Appa with the help of Gus and Eda. Boscha lies resting against a sleeping Appa.
(Turning to look at Luz.) "Of course you are. That's 'cause you gotta fight the Fire Emperor, the baddest man on the planet. And you better win or we're all done for." Willow said
(Approaching Willow, annoyed.) "Willow! You're not helping!" Amity shouted
(Standing.) "What? It's true. That's the deal. She knows it." Willow said
Amity pushes down Willow to sit, before looking over at Luz, who is nervously shaking. She walks over to her and touches her shoulders.
"You know what, I've got just the thing! Get ready to be de-stressified!" Amity said
Scene changes to Luz and Amity in a mountain doing some yoga. Steaming water in the middle of the room.
"Gus told me these yoga stretches can really work wonders if you do them in extreme heat. Reach up." (Amity puts her hands above her head together, Luz follows along.) "Reach for the sun." (They wave their hands and upper bodies side to side.) "Feel your chi paths clearing." (Both bend over so their heads touch the ground, grabbing their legs.) "Now close your eyes. How are you feeling?" Amity asked
(Close-up of Luz sweating.) "I feel ... really warm." Luz said
"Good, good. Go on." Amity said
"Like there's this warm feeling all around me. This heat." (Becoming frantic again.) "Like I'm in the Fire Emperor's palace and he's shooting a bunch of fireballs at me! And the whole world is being engulfed in flames!" Luz shouted
An orange flame is seen circling around, covering the view, before disappearing. Luz gets out of her position and lands on her back, panting.
"Maybe your stress is the kind you need to talk out." Amity said
Scene changes to Willow, in her Wang Fire outfit, and Luz lying on a koala sheep.
(In her Wang Fire voice.) "Why don't you get right down to business and tell me what's been bothering you." Willow said
"You know what's bothering me. I have to fight the Fire Emperor in a few days." Luz said
(She nods upon hearing Luz's explanation.) "Tell me more about this 'Fire Emperor'. Why are you so afraid of him?" Willow asked
"You said it yourself! He's the baddest man on the planet! I'm supposed to defeat him and save the world!" Luz said
(Nodding in agreement.) "Life does feel that way sometimes, doesn't it? Like we're all trying to save the world from evil." Willow said
"Okay! But what can I do to feel better?" Luz asked
(While handing Luz a koala sheep.) "Want to try screaming into this pillow?" Willow asked
Luz does so. Once her face is out of the wool, the koala sheep makes a noise at her. After Willow scratches her head, she does a thumbs-up while nodding. Luz shakes her head so Willow nods faster, but Luz shakes her head faster. Scene changes to Kikimora at the royal spa, getting her hair done. Lilith comes in and walks up to her.
"Hello, Lulu. If you've come for a royal hair-combing, I'm afraid you'll have to wait." Kikimora said
"So I guess there's a big war meeting coming up, huh? And apparently I'm not welcome there." Lilith said
"What do you mean? Of course you're welcome there!" Kikimora said
"Oh, yeah?! I guess that's why no one bothered to tell me about it!" Lilith shouted
"Oh, Lilith. Don't be so dramatic. I'm certain Belos wants you there. You probably just weren't invited because it's so obvious you're supposed to be there." Kikimora said
"Well, were you invited?" Lilith asked
"Of course! I'm an admiral." Kikimora said
"And I'm an admiral as well!" Lilith shouted
"Exactly, so stop acting like a paranoid child! Just go to the meeting." Kikimora said
"Forget it! I'm not going!" Lilith shouted
Lilith turns around and walks away. The scene changes to Luz lying down on some pillars.
"All right! What you need is a good old-fashioned back pounding to relieve your stress." Boscha said
(Looking up at her.) "Pound away." Luz said
Boscha begins stomping fiercely, causing the pillars to move up and down in various order.
(The pillars causing her pain.) "Ow! Boscha ... I ... think ... this ... is ... bruising ... me!" Luz shouted in pain
Boscha stops, and Luz begins sliding to the left, off the pillars.
"Sorry. I forgot you had baby skin." (Luz grabs onto the edge of the pillars and gets up.) "Well, there's one other thing we can try." (She stomps the ground, sending a distant boar-q-pine to her. She catches it and holds it out to Luz with a wide grin.) "Acupuncture!" Boscha said
The boar-q-pine's quills stick out, and Luz runs away in fright. Scene changes back to the Fire Nation Palace, where Lilith is looking out a window. Lai comes up to her.
"Lilith, it's just a dumb meeting. Who cares?" Lai asked
"I don't." Lilith said
"Well, good. You shouldn't. I mean, why would you even want to go? Just think about how things went at the last meeting you went to." Lai said
(Sighs.) "I know." Lilith said
"You know what will make you feel better?" (Lilith turns her head slightly.) "Ordering some servants around. I might be hungry for a whole tray of fruit tarts. And maybe a little palanquin ride around town. Double time." Lai said
She turns Lilith's face to look at her, but she quickly looks away, making Lai let go of her. Scene changes back to the Black Cliffs. Luz is sitting up, holding her knees.
"Thanks for everything, guys." Luz said
"So, do you feel less stressed? Ready for a good night's sleep?" Amity asked
(She turns her head away.) "Uh, I kinda think I sorta might slightly feel a little better." (She looks back at the others.) "Maybe." Luz said
"Then our work here is done." Willow said
Amity, Gus, Willow, Eda, Camila and Boscha stretch and yawn before lying down. Luz slowly lies down, and closes her eyes, leading to another dream. It begins with a thunderstorm, with Luz riding on Appa through it. They fly by a giant King, who tries hitting them down, and grabs them in his hand. It changes to an image of the Fire Nation Royal Palace, and Luz emerges in the water, and is pushed forward into the palace. She looks in all directions, waiting for something to happen. Boscha is seen rotating around. Her bangs move to reveal that her eyes are blank. She falls down under the floor in front of Luz, who becomes scared. Gus, Willow and Eda tried running away, but some wet earth closes around them. Amity and Camila are seen surrounded by fire. Luz tries to go save them, but her feet are frozen to the ground. Ice crawls up her body, and she reaches out, but she's completely frozen. The ground that she was on becomes completely ice. Belos, as a fire monster, begins laughing and melts the ice, which makes Luz fall down. She is released from her form and falls into some water, where she sinks to the bottom and looks through the floor, seeing Lilith as if she was standing above. The comet is seen passing by behind Lilith. Luz is seen still holding her breath. The comet is shown rushing down. King is seen telling someone to be quiet. King is standing on grass and seeing bushes and mountains when the comet strikes the ground, and everything is scorched and on fire. She quickly wakes up, screaming and waking everyone else up. Appa becomes scared, and King slides off him. Everyone rushes over to her.
"What happened, Luz?" Camila asked
(Turns away on her hands and knees.) "It's the nightmares. They just get worse and worse." Luz said
"Looks like it's time for another ..." (She turns around and puts her Wang Fire disguise on and voice.) "therapy session." Willow said
"You said you got rid of that disguise." Gus said (rips the Wang Fire beard off of Willow's face making her yelp in pain from it.)
(Momentarily looking back.) "No. That won't help. Nothing helps. There's only one thing I can do! I'm going to stay awake straight through to the invasion!" Luz said
Luz starts shaking upon this, and everyone behind her is shocked. Willow's Wang Fire mustache falls off her. The scene changes to the next day, where Amity is doing some exercises on the edge of the cliff. Luz is pacing nervously behind her, which makes her stop.
"Invasion. All aboard for the invasion." Luz said
(Approaching.) "You don't look so good. You sure you can't just lie down for a little nap?" Amity asked
"I told you, I can't go back to sleep." Luz said
"Luz, staying up all night can't be good for you." Amity said
(Walking toward the cliff edge. Amity turns and moves a bit to follow.) "Actually, staying up all night has given me some time to think. And I've realized some big things, Amity." Luz said
"What big things?" Amity asked
"I see everything so clearly now. What really matters. Why I'm really doing this." (She turns around to look at Amity.) "I'm doing it to save the world. But more than that. I'm doing it for the people I love." (Side shot of Luz and Amity near each other.) "I'm doing it for you, Amity." Luz said
"Luz, what are you saying?" Amity asked
"I'm saying, I love you!" Luz said (She kisses her. After she pulls back, she embraces and kisses her back.)
(After kissing for a while she pulls back, whispering slightly.) "What are we doing?" Amity
"What our hearts have been telling us to do for a long, long time. Baby," (She moves Amity down to the side.) "you're my forever girl." Luz said (Luz puckers up her lips for another kiss.)
"Luz!" (Luz realizes she was just daydreaming, and realizes she is not holding Amity anymore.) "I was just saying you should take a nap." Amity said
(She quickly turns around to face Amity.) "Oh, I guess I kinda drifted off into a daydream." Luz said
"What was your dream about?" Amity asked
(She pauses to think for a moment.) "Uh, living underwater?" Luz asked
(Initially confused, she smiles back.) "Sounds neat!" Amity said
Luz nervously laughs. Amity walks away, and she lets out a sigh of relief. The scene changes back to Lai's house. Lilith is lying down on the arm of the couch, while Lai is making tea. Just as she is about to give her a cup, someone calls for her.
"Admiral Lilith," (He bows before the admiral.) "Everyone's waiting for you." a servant said
Lai and Lilith walk over to the servant to see what he's talking about.
"What?" Lilith asked
"The high admirals, the high generals, the war ministers, and Admiral Kikimora have all arrived. You're the only person missing." the servant said
"So, Belos wants me at the meeting?" Lilith asked
"The Fire Emperor said he would not start until you arrived, ma'am." the servant said
Lilith smiles, and looks at Lai, who is also smiling. The scene changes back to the Black Cliffs, where Luz is hiding behind a bush in her Fire Nation uniform. She jumps out and rolls behind a rock, before stepping up from behind the rock.
"Put 'em up, Fire Emperor!" Luz shouted
Luz jumps out from behind the rock and starts shooting air blasts at the noodle picture of Fire Emperor Belos tied to a tree. One of the shots goes too far and hits Willow, who is working on a golden arrow with Gus and Eda's help.
"Hey! We're tryin' build Appa some armor here so he doesn't have to go into the invasion naked. He's your bison." Willow said
(Standing in front of the "Belos" tree in a fighting stance.) "Belos' defense is impeccable. I'll have to try a different approach." Luz said
Luz jumps up and shoots more air blasts, but they all miss. Luz lands on her feet and looks at the picture. Only a leaf falls. Luz runs up in front of the picture.
"You think you're untouchable, don't you, Mr. Fire Emperor?" Luz asked
(Off-screen.) "Boy, you are really starting to lose it, kid." a voice said
Luz quickly becomes surprised upon hearing the voice, and quickly turns around to face King.
"King, did you hear something?" Luz asked (Turns back.)
(Off-screen.) "No, but I said something." (Luz becomes shocked and gets close to King.) "You, my friend, are just a few plums short of a fruit pie." King said (Luz stares at King in disbelief, her jaw wide open. She quickly stands up, shakes her head, and covers her eyes. She peeks through them, at which point King begins chittering normally again. Luz walks up to him and pets him.)
"That's more like it. I'm so tired that for a second there, I imagined you were talking to me." (King tilts his head in confusion. Everyone is seen walking forward and watching Luz.) "Oh, King, let me explain." Luz said (Luz begins chattering like King. Amity and Camila share a look of worry, as Boscha merely stands there with a slightly annoyed look, while Gus, Willow and Eda are confused. King chitters back, in which Luz laughs before chittering again. Amity interrupts her.)
"Luz? We're all starting to get a little worried about you." Amity said
"You're not acting like yourself for three days." Gus said
"You've been awake too long." Willow said
"All your nightmares are causing you to go crazy." Eda said
"You have to get some sleep or it'll get worse." Camila said
"And you're acting downright weird." Boscha said
"You've got to take care of yourself. You can't go on like this." Appa said
(Sighs.) "Look, I appreciate what you guys are saying, but the stress and the nightmares. They were just too much. Staying awake is the best way for me to deal with it." Luz said
(Standing and pointing at Appa.) "Yeah! Leave the kid alone!" King said
(Pointing back.) "Hey, who asked you?" Appa asked (The two begin to fight.)
"You guys, come on." Luz said
"No! I am sick of this guy always mouthing me and telling me what to do!" Appa said
"Oh, you don't like it? Well, let's go right now!" King said
Luz runs over to Willow for help, not realizing that her friends don't see anything.
"Willow, what do we do?" Luz asked
(Confused.) "About what?" Willow asked
(Pointing.) "About that!" Luz said
Willow looks in the direction Luz was pointing. King is seen in a purple samurai outfit with the fur between his horns tied in a topknot. Appa is seen with orange and dark red full plate yoroi armor and a helmet, with three swords. King takes out his one sword, and the two charge at each other. King parries Appa's three swords with his single one. Some koala sheep start cheering on the two.
(Cut to a group of koala sheep.) "Appa! Appa! Appa!" (Cut to another group.) "King! King! King!" the Koala Sheep shouted
Appa takes out another sword, and twists in a twister toward King, who blocks the attacks. Luz walks forward and tries stopping them.
"Come on, guys. We're all on the same side." Luz said
Guru Pathik appears on a cloud with six arms, holding two cups of onion and banana juice, and playing a veena.
(Singing.) "Chakras, chakras, everybody loves chakras. Chakras, chakras, chakras sandwiches taste good. Yum!" Dream Pathik said
King and Appa continue fighting. King keeps trying to strike Appa, but Appa keeps jumping away.
(Cut to some koala sheep.) "Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay!" the Koala Sheep shouted
Luz begins sweating. Rocks, in a snake-like formation, begin to slide in and around Luz, before sliding away. The koala sheep continue cheering on King and Appa. The tree with Belos' noodle picture begins dancing. A ring of rocks surrounds Luz, as do the koala sheep. Three lines of rocks are seen on each side of Luz, as King and Appa continue to fight.
"I just need to jump in a cold waterfall!" Luz said
She screams and runs away from the scene. The scene changes to the Royal Palace, where Lai is waiting for Lilith after the meeting, who is exiting.
"So, how did it go?" Lai asked (They walk on together.)
"When I got to the meeting, everyone welcomed me. The Fire Emperor had saved me a seat. He wanted me next to him. I was literally at his right hand." Lilith said
"Lilith, that's wonderful! You must be happy." Lai said
The two stop at a picture of Belos. Lilith gazes at it.
"During the meeting, I was the perfect admiral. The admiral the Fire Emperor wanted. (Looks down, eyes closed.) "But I wasn't me." Lilith said
Scene changes back to the Black Cliffs. It is nighttime, and Luz is tired. A mist of fog surrounds koala sheep wool. Luz looks at it and begins touching it.
"Oh, look. Another hallucination. An imaginary bed made out of clouds." Luz said
Pan right to see Amity, Gus, Willow, Eda, Camila and Boscha standing nearby, with a flock of sheared koala sheep.
"Hey! It's real! We spent hours working on it." Boscha said
"We made it for you. A good night's sleep will probably take the crazy away. We hope." Willow said
"Look! You guys keep telling me that I need to sleep, but I can't! The invasion's tomorrow!" Luz said
(Concerned.) "Luz ..." Camila started
"No, mom! There's still so much I haven't learned. I don't need sleep. What I need is practice. Quick, hit me!" Luz said [He begins to wobble.]
"I'm not going to hit you." Camila said
"You want me to do it?" Boscha asked (Willow nudges her back.)
(Approaching Luz, placing a hand on her shoulder.) "Listen to me. You've been training for this since the day we met." (Moves behind her, talking over her shoulder.) "I've seen your progress. You're smart, brave, and strong enough." Amity said
"You really think so?" Luz asked (Amity nods.)
"We all do. You can do this. You're ready." Eda said
"You're the man, Twinkle Toes!" Boscha said
"You'll do alright tomorrow." Gus said
"Thanks, guys." (She nods, yawns, and rubs her eyes. Amity aids her to the bed, where she lies down.) "You know what? I think I am ready." (The others watch as she falls asleep quickly. She falls into another dream, meeting with Belos again.) "Your days of tyranny are over, Fire Emperor!" Luz said
"Really? You're gonna take me out? You're not even wearing pants!" Dream Belos said
(Smiles smugly.) "No, Fire Emperor Belos. You're not wearing any pants." Luz said
Dream Belos looks down and sees Luz is right. He quickly pulls over a shield with the Fire Nation emblem on it.
"No! My royal parts are showing." Dream Belos said in panic
The view goes outside, where it is seen that the palace is up on a rock in the sky. The scene fades back to the Black Cliffs with Dream Belos screaming to Luz, who is seen smiling upon her success in the dream.
Fade to credits.
