The morning started out lazy. Sam was the first one to be up, feeding Janet and starting on breakfast. She opened the backdoor for Lucky, so he could play outside and didn't need to get walked that early in the morning.

Cassie was the first one joining Sam in the kitchen.

"Morning!" She murmured, not entirely awake.

"Morning, Sweetie! Coffee?" Sam asked, holding the freshly brewed pot under Cassie's nose.

"Oh yes please!" As soon as she received her cup, she gently breathed in the enticing aroma of the coffee, which made her feel more awake. "Is Jack also still in bed?"

"Yeah, I thought I let him sleep. He got up two times tonight to get me Janet, he deserves to sleep a little longer. And Ben? Did we wear him out yesterday? Meeting your girlfriend's parents, a baby and a dog can get quite stressful."

"No, Ben comes from a big family, nothing he can't handle. Maybe it was me that wore him out later that night." She joked and blushed at the same time.

"Cassandra Fraiser!" Sam giggled. "Don't let Jack hear this! He likes to think you don't even know what this is you're talking about."

"Come on Sam, I'm pretty sure he broke his promise about 'not trying while we are in your house' as well."

"Maybe he did." Sam replied, smiling.

As Jack entered the kitchen the women were still laughing.

"Good morning you two! What's so funny this early in the morning?"

"Nothing you would really like to know, Dad!" Cassie told him, kissing him on the cheek.

"Argh! Even that is too much information, daughter!"

"Grow up, Jack! I do too. I'm going to check on Ben so that we can have breakfast together."

She left him standing in the middle of the room, gaping at the empty spot where the young woman had been standing just moments before.

In the meantime Sam had set the table and placed Janet on the blanket next to it. Now she approached her husband and wrapped her arms around him from behind, his hands immediately closed around hers. His thumb stroked the back of her hand softly.

"Good morning!" She whispered, placing sweet little kisses around his neck. "Slept well after the last time I fed Jan?"

"I did. And then I woke up, all alone in this big bed."

"Yeah, sorry. When Janet stirred I got up to let you catch up on some sleep. I let the dog out already so we don't have to worry about getting out for a few hours. We can take him with us when we're going to buy a tree. I thought about decorating it with Cassie while you and Ben could go grocery shopping."

He turned around and wrapped his arms around her as well. Drawing her intimately closer to him, he kissed her before he answered.

"That's actually a very good idea. You know my decoration skills are lacking a bit."

Breakfast was a quiet affair as everyone was still a bit tired, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Afterwards they all retreated to their room to get dressed.

"You don't mind if I take a shower before we leave, do you?" Cassie made sure she had enough time for it.

"No, go ahead, I thought about that too. We'll meet in the living room when everyone is ready to go." Jack replied, picking up Janet to get her dressed while Sam was cleaning up.

He placed her on the changing table and was about to change the diaper as his wife joined him. Her hand ventured beneath the waistband of his trousers, playfully grabbing his buttocks.

"When you are finished with Janet you can put her under the play arch and join me in the shower. This way we can save a bit of time and water."

"I'm not sure if we're saving time when I join you or if it would extend the time we'd need." He joked seductively. "But I would like to join you very much. Go, heat up the shower. I just have to dress this beautiful girl."

As Jack wanted to place his daughter underneath the play arch he spotted Ben coming upstairs, already showered and dressed.

"I can take her if you like." He offered.

"Sure, if she gets wiggly just put her down under that play thing. We won't need long."

"Take your time. Cassie isn't as quick with showering than I am. We're good here, right?" He turned his attention towards Janet.

"Okay, thanks!"

He joined his wife in the shower, where the bathroom was already engulfed in hot steam. There she stood, radiantly beautiful, basking under the cascading stream, her eyes closed in bliss. Water danced and sparkled as it gracefully traced the curves of her body. He approached her while his hand was reaching for the bottle of shower gel. With a gentle squeeze, he dispensed a generous amount into his hands, preparing to caress her body with it.

Sensing him she slowly opened her eyes. Her baby blue eyes locked with his chocolate brown eyes, forging a connection that felt both electrifying and tender.

He took the last step forward and his hands gently caressing her body while soaping it.

"Mmh, as good as this feels, Jack. I don't think we have time for this."

"Maybe we have." he said in between kisses. His mouth wandered sideways over her cheeks, to the sweet spot right below her ear. "Ben is watching Janet and Cassie is taking a shower as well. And like Ben pointed out, when was she ever quick in taking a shower?"

His left hand glided gently down her body, from her waist over the curve of her backside to her thigh. With a tender touch, he lifted her leg and positioned it around his hip, bringing them closer in an intimate embrace. His hard lengths pressed against her body.

"Mmh...you're not playing fair." She moaned. "You really want to do this while your future son in law is watching your daughter just down the hallway?"

He groaned. "Don't break the mood here. Does it look like I want to do this?" Jack asked as he pressed himself even closer to her. "You wouldn't leave me hanging like this, would you?" He asked and as to emphasize his words he squeezed her breast, playing with her nipple, rolling it between his index finger and his thumb. Her head flew back against the tiles and she shuddered under his touch.

"No. No I won't...god, Jack... But you have to stop me from screaming, I can't guarantee anything right now."

She reached around him and locked her fingers behind his neck to stabilize herself. His left hand was still holding her leg in place while the right one traveled down to feel if she was ready. And boy was she ready. He inserted two fingers to stretch her for him, slowly he slipped his fingers out again, right over her clit.

"Please... Jack..." She breathed.

"Please what, Sam?" He asked, knowing fully well what she was pleading for.

"I want you!... Now..." she was already panting in anticipation and it took him only a second to bend his knee, getting just the right angle and filling her completely. He placed his mouth over hers to silence her scream. They never stopped kissing as he moved inside her at a fast pace. Jack felt her walls clench around him and moved instinctively faster to get himself off together with her. Muffled moans filled the room as they flew apart in each other's arms.

They quickly showered and dressed to

Not make it look suspicious as to why they took so long. But they shouldn't have been worried, because they reached the living room just as Cassie came upstairs as well. She shot her parents a quick look and saw Sam blushing instantly. Cassie rolled her eyes as if to say 'Really? You two can't keep your hands off each other?', but at the same time she smiled brightly. They finally had what she ever wanted for her two favorite people, allowed to be together and happy. Even if that means that they behaved like horny teenagers. They sure had to make up for all that lost years.

"Is everyone ready to go?" Cass asked. "Are we going to just pick one tree or are we going to cut down the tree ourselves?"

"I thought about going to cut one ourselves. Ben, have you ever cut a tree?" Jack shot him a look before stepping out of the house.

"In fact, I have. I'd be glad to help you."

"Perfect, let's go. I may have to consider a bigger car if our family keeps on growing." Relieved that still everyone fits into the new suv they had bought for Sam. They agreed that she should keep her vintage Volvo but needs a family car. So for now they were good, they could put the tree on top of the car.

It was a short drive out of town to the forest where they could cut the tree. Sam had Janet fixed in the baby sling around her body as they walked into the forest, Cassie carrying a basket in her hands. It didn't take them long to find the perfect one. As Jack and Ben started to cut the tree, Sam got out a pot of hot chocolate and four cups that were in the basket.

She stood next to Cassie, warming their hands at the cup and watching their men.

"Everything alright?" She asked concerned, noticing that the young woman grew increasingly quiet.

"Yeah, everything's alright. I just remembered that we did this on my first Christmas as well. You two, Daniel, Teal'c and Mom. Jack took us all into the woods to search for the perfect tree, cutting it down and when we got home all of us decorated it together. Daniel was explaining all the traditions to Teal'c and me while you and Mom made dinner."

She leaned on Sam for comfort as Jack added something he clearly remembered.

"It was the first Christmas I celebrated after Charlie died. Daniel got drunk over two beers and you became sick from eating too much candies. Janet put you to bed and Teal'c helped Daniel into the guest room."

"Gosh, don't remind me. I learned my lesson. And where were you two during all of this?"

"I was outside. Charlie and I had the tradition to go outside after unpacking the presents. We made a fire in a fire bowl and watched the stars together. Sam got out as well, keeping me company. She always knew when I needed her. Even then."

He and Ben joined their women for a cup of chocolate and Jack looked at his wife. His hand behind her back guided her and Janet towards him.

"I never thanked you for that. So, thank you for being there for me. Even if I don't know that I need you."

She smiled up to him and answered with the one word that he once said, and that meant the world to her.

"Always!"

Ben let them have their moment before he cleared his throat. Getting everyone's attention.

"I wasn't prepared to do this today... But... I think this is the perfect place to do this." Ben looked at Jack, who was already smirking. With a barely noticeable nod he encouraged the young man to make his plan come true. Cassie was visibly confused. He stepped in front of her and he took her hands in his.

"Cassie, I know we haven't even been together a whole year, but I don't need more time to figure out what you mean to me. I know very well that I love you and that won't change. My love for you will only grow stronger. I want to spend the rest of my life with you..." he took one hand to search for the velvet box inside his pocket. He opened it in front of Cassie and got down on one knee, his voice unsteady as he asked "Cassandra Fraiser, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"

Sam smiled at Jack as she saw the emotions playing on their daughter's face. Cassie was absolutely surprised, tears welling up in her eyes. She looked down to Ben, nodding silently as she whispered "Yes! Yes I'd like to become your wife."

Relieved Ben stood up to put the ring on her finger. He took her face in his hands, his thumbs tenderly caressing her cheeks before pulling her into a gentle kiss.
