Before we begin, I have a few things to say.
I wish to apologize for a mistake from Episode four. Her name isn't Ari, it's Airi. From now on, I'll refer to her as Airi if they mention her. I'm still new at this, so I probably won't be able to change it yet. When and if I do, this paragraph won't be here.
Also, updates might be slow for a while. First, it's the holidays and I have gifts to wrap. Second, the Indigo Disk update for Pokemon. This girl is a HUGE fan of Pokemon! Sorry even though the next preview is sure leave you excited.
Okay, now that's out of the way. Prepare for a Knuckles themed episode! Oh! Can you guess which Jewelpets, aside from his partners, are students in Knuckles' training class? I've placed clues in their compliments.
GoldenLatias6 Charm! Jewel Story!
Lapis, the Russian Blue Jewelcat, was out in the garden doing yoga. She had great balance and exceptional flexibility. "Keep it up! Show no mercy!" Knuckles' voice reached her ears. Lapis gasped in shock as she fell down. She got up and walked in the direction of the voice. She hid behind a tree as she looked at what she saw. A small group of Jewelpets were throwing air punches as Knuckles watched them.
Knuckles blew into the whistle around his neck. "Okay, boys and girls! Let's take a break and get some water!" Knuckles ordered. The Jewelpets obeyed his order as they began to relax and drink from their water bottles. Knuckles gave a sigh of relief as he collasped on the nearby bench. Granite and Jasper, both wearing sweatbands, joined him on the bench.
"You are one amazing trainer. I feel stronger already!" Jasper exclaimed. "Yeah! I feel like I can do anything," Granite added. Lapis silently gasped as she heard their compliments. She soon heard other compliments from the other Jewelpets.
"I certainly don't feel like a fish out of water now!"
"I feel as refreshed as lunar eclipse, but I think my sweat has fogged up my glasses..."
"Maybe I should do this more often. It certainly gets rid of stress from dealing with those two pranksters."
"If I keep this up, everyone will stop think that I'm a dog dachi!"
"I feel more strength in my arms. I bet can play my guitar better now, so I can sing my songs of amour."
"Knuckles is best trainer ever! Applause please!"
Lapis held solemn look as the Jewelpets clapped for Knuckles. "That's what they used to say about my coaching," she sighed.
Knuckles the Trainer and Lapis the Coach!
Later that day, the Jewelpets wave to Knuckles as they leave class. "Don't forget to practice, but don't overdue yourselves!" Knuckles called out. Jasper and Granite removed their sweatbands as they walked over to Knuckles. They noticed Lapis behind the tree.
"Coach Lapis?" Jasper covered his mouth when he realized what he said. "I'm no one's coach now..." Lapis told him as she turned around and walked away. "She's a coach?" Knuckles asked. "Don't let her elegant looks fool you. She was the best of the best!" Granite explained. "Did something happen?" Knuckles wondered.
"Sorry. Everyone involved triple swore to never speak of it; all I can say is that Lapis blamed herself for the accidents..." Jasper said with sorrow. Knuckles looked out in the direction Lapis went. "Take a shower, boys. I've got something to do," Knuckles stated as he got up and walked towards that direction, leaving his confused partners.
Knuckles wasn't the only holding training sessions. In the gym of Jewel Palace, the Hooligans were working out. Bark lifted heavy barbels, Bean ran on a treadmill, and Fang was using the rings. Trip came into the gym holding a tray with 3 glasses of water, but they tripped over a dumbell. After they fell, the water glasses shattered on the ground. The Hooligans noticed this. (Bean fell off the treadmill) "You clumsy rusted fool!" Fang scolded. "Don't just stand there! Clean it up!" Trip ran into the storage room and came out with a broom and dustpan.
Lilia entered the room and saw Trip cleaning up the broken glass. "Oh dear, and you said you wouldn't spill it," she responded. Bean got up and walked over to her; of course, he was oblivious to his smelly heavy body odor. "What's the plan today?" Bean asked. Lilia backed away from him as she pulled out her monogrammed hankerchief and held in front of her face. "I already released a very special Gemdemon to attack on the manor, so you don't have to do anything. That's what I wanted to tell you boys at first. But after you've finished your workouts, take a shower!" she ordered in disgust as she left the room. "I guess we're off duty, but do we really smell bad?" Bean wondered. He then curiously sniffed under his arm. His beak turned green as he passed out from the smell. "We smell that bad, huh?" Bark commented with a smile. Bruisers like him must love the smell of body odor. P-U!
By the green sports field of Jewel Manor, Lapis looks out onto the field. Her mind is filled with the sound you'd hear if you on a football team. Then she holds her head as her minds plays sounds of painful screams and later the sound of angry families blaming her. "You're FIRED!!!" the voice of a loud man echoed.
A whistle blow snaps her out of it. She turns around to see Knuckles with his whistle. "And that's what whistles are for," Knuckles stated. Lapis didn't look too thrilled to see him. "What do you want?" she responded. "Well, let's hit the bench so we can talk about it," he responded as he pointed to a nearby relief bench.

Granite's charm appears. It changes into Granite.

Lapis' charm appears. It changes into Lapis.
The pair are sitting down on the bench now. Lapis actually told him what happened. "That must've been awful," he commented. "But why did you decide to tell me?" "I realized I needed someone to talk to who wasn't involved in anyway," she stated. "My mind has been plagued by those terrible memories, whether I'm asleep or awake."
(Author's note: We'll never know exactly what happened, not even me)
"Well, from what you told me, it sounds like someone sabotaged your game plan," Knuckles began. "That head coach wasn't a strict guy because he was a great teacher; you were offered to be promoted to head coach and suddenly the inccident happened. He must've been jealous of your success. Sometimes, actions can tell more than words." Lapis realized something in her head. While we don't know what, Lapis had a feeling that Knuckles could be right. She noticed that he removed his whistle and held it out to her. "You might want to clean it first," he suggested. Lapis stared at the whistle and reached for it.
Suddenly, they heard the manor's alarm and Rin's voice. "Multiple Gemdemons attacking! Fire Imps! All Jewelpets respond!" Knuckles placed whistle next to Lapis and head towards the manor. Lapis watched him head off and looked at the whistle as it began to glow blue.
At the manor, the others are already facing off againt dozens of Gemdemons. The other Jewelpets were involved as well.
Before we continue, allow me to explain today's unique Gemdemon. Fire Imp, created from the legendary Lava Diamond, unlike other Gemdemons, this small imp like is orange with yellow eyes but no black aura around it. In addition to throwing fire balls, it can use its fire to create clones of itself. However, the clones might have the same attacks, they are very delicate and can be squished easily. Their greatest weaknesses are water and cold weather. Interestingly, defeat the original, and the clones turn into ashes. Now back to the story.
"They're everywhere!" Emera exclaimed. "And they keep multiplying," said Larimar, who changed to her human form. Knuckles glided in and punched a Fire Imp. The creature disappeared into nothing, which confused the echidna. Afterall, defeated Gemdemons turned into gems. "What in the--" he exclaimed in shock. "They're Fire Imps!" Speck exclaimed. "There's only one real one, but we can't since it and the copies keep on making more copies!" Tails added. "Then keep using attacks against them until we find it!" Opal suggested as she kicked a copy. Everyone tried their special attacks.
Jewel Flash!
Rose Charm! Ruby Slam!
Charotte Get them! Honey Missile! Sweet Charm! Jewel Sting!
Knuckles Charm! Jewel Fist!
Sonic Charm! Emerald Flash!
Speck hopped on Tails' left shoulder as an arm cannon formed on both of their right arms. "I've been waiting to try this out," Speck cheered in excitement. "You and me both," Tails agreed.
Tails Charm! Double Jewel Blast!
Two powerful beams blasted out of the arm cannons. The beams destroyed a large group of copies, as did the other attacks. However, the remaning Fire Imps kept on creating more and more copies like a popcorn machine creating popcorn.
In the nearby bushes, Lapis watched the battle as she held the whistle. "Sometimes, actions speak louder than words," Knuckles' voice repeated in her head. She then noticed that one Fire Imp was watching the battle unlike all the other copies. It wore an impish grin on its face. 'That must be the leader,' she thought to herself as she tightened her grip on the whistle.
Meanwhile, everyone was getting tired. Emera collasped onto his knees in exhaustion. His powers felt weaker now. He looked at the sky and saw the sun getting close to sunset. He suddenly felt the imps grab him. "Hey! Let go! Emerald fla--" he felt too weak. The others saw them and tried to attack, but the many other imps held them down.
Suddenly, a yellow bandana lands in the middle of the battlefield as a whistle blares. Everyone stops at the sound of the whistle and the sight of the yellow bandana.
Lapis, holding the now deep blue whistle approaches the real Gemdemon. "I refuse to see such laziness! Teammates must all work together!" she scolded as she tightly gripped on its left wrist. It cried in pain as she dragged it over to the nearby fountain. "You know what I do to lazy neglent team players?" she asked sternly. The imp shakes its head cowardly. "I dunk them in cold water!" she shouted as she threw it into the fountain.
The Fire Imp shrieked in terror as it was thrown in, but silence soon followed the splash it made. All the other imp suddenly disappeared in a poof. Lapis looked in the fountain and pulled a beautiful red gem. Everyone else sighed in relief as they all except Cream collasped onto the ground. "That was a tough battle," Cream simply stated as Larimar changed back. "Now I better fix the damages."
Cream Charm. Jewel Healing.
All the burns, scrapes, and fatigue on the area and group were instantly healed. Cream was about to collapse when Knuckles caught her in his arms. "Eww! We're all sweaty!" Garnet screamed in disgust. "Getting sweaty is a cost of the game plan," Lapis calmly stated. "Nice work, Coach Lapis," Knuckles tell her with a smile. "But how did you know that was the real Gemdemon?" Speck asked; everyone else also wondered the same thing.
"As a coach, I've seen my share of lazy players, those letting their teammates do all of the work. They usually turn out to be captains and quarterbacks. I notice it was doing nothing but giving its gibberish orders. But its actions spoke louder than its words," Lapis explained. Her last statement made Knuckles smile. He let Cream relax on Amy's shoulders and approached Lapis.
"You know what, Lapis? I got a big class to train, and it keeps getting bigger. I could use some help in training. What do you say, Head Coach Lapis?" he offered as he held his fist out. With her eyes filled with happiness and excitement, she bumped his fist. Everyone else looked at them with happy looks... well, almost everyone...
The happy moment ended as Emera suddenly fainted. Everyone gasped as they looked at him.
"EMERA!!" they all exclaimed as he weakly closed his eyes and passed out.
