After traveling miles on foot, Drifter stops off at an old biker bar in the woods. The building itself stands on a patch of land carved out with the trees surrounding it. He only came in for some water, and to rest his legs before continuing onwards.
The bartender is happy to serve him since the rest of the bar is quiet, with barely anyone else around to order drinks. Drifter pays his tab as the doors open. The bartender goes wooden as a group of bikers enter the bar, and come straight up to the counter.
"Hey you, scarf. You're in my seat," the more brutish-looking of the bunch says, their voice sounding as rough as gravel.
Drifter just shakes it off, "I was just leaving." The same biker grabs him by the shoulder, stopping him.
"That's not how this works. You messed up my seat. So now, I'm going to mess up your face," he pulls a switchblade from his jacket.
With a blank look, Drifter grabs their arm, and flings them over his shoulder, throwing them into one of the other bikers. Another comes from him, but he ducks before their swing can connect. He punches them in the gut, bringing them down. The last of them grabs a pipe, but Drifter just punches them in the face. They stumble back before falling into one of the open seats.
"I said, I was leaving," grabbing his things, Drifter exits the bar only to stumble upon another biker.
"Nice moves. I didn't think anyone could take out my men like that," this biker is the group leader, Jagger. Tall, wide, and wearing a real leather jacket with the wear and tear that comes from being on the road for miles.
"I take it I didn't impress you enough to let me just walk away, did I?" Drifter asks, seeing Jagger holding on to a duel disk.
"Nope. But I figure if you fight good, I wonder how well you're dueling is," strapping the duel disk to his arm, he activates it, challenging Drifter to a real duel.
"Very well," Drifter tightens his scarf before taking out his deck. "I must warn you, however," throwing the duel disk, he catches it on his arm before inserting the deck, "I play for keeps."
Standing outside the bar, the pair start their duel.

VS
Jagger 4000 LP
"I set one monster in face-down defense mode, and then end my turn," Drifter starts small, going for a defensive play.
"My turn now. Let's show you a real monster." Drawing from his deck, Jagger smiles upon drawing a specific spell. "I activate Revival of Dokurorider. I use the Gadget Solider in my hand as a tribute to ritual summon Dokurorider in attack mode." Using a level 6 monster, Jagger summons a demon rider on top of a skull bike. [L6/Dark/Zombie/ATK 1900]
"Battle. I attack your set monster with Dokurorider!" Jagger calls the attack. His demon biker charges for the set monster. It flips open to reveal Giant Rat. [DEF 1450] Running the monster over, it's destroyed, however Drifter remains unharmed.
"Due to Giant Rat's effect. I can replace him after being destroyed by battle. I summon the Giant Soldier of Stone to the field," in the ashes of the rat, a giant made of pure stone appears in their place. [L3/Earth/Rock/ATK 1300]
"I see. You plan on changing battle positions to protect your life points," Jagger ends their turn, confident in their monster.
"Draw. I switch Giant Soldier of Stone to defense mode," Drifter changes his new monster to defense, and it kneels down before him as protection. [DEF 2000] "Next, I set another monster face down, and then this card face down as well." Drifter puts up another defense against Jagger, being cautious with the duelist.
"If you plan on just hiding, you might as well just quit," Jagger starts their turn. "I activate Pot of Greed to draw 2 cards," he draws 2 cards. "Next I activate Shield Crush. With this card, I can destroy your Soldier before even battling it," in a single blast, Drifter's monster explodes into rubble.
As the dust settles, Drifter reveals his trap card. "I knew you had a plan to deal with my Soldier. That's why I had the trap Soul Rope. When you destroy one of my monsters by a card effect, I can pay 1000 life points to summon a new one."
[Drifter 3000 LP]
Opening his deck, he picks a card from among them, "I summon the Obnoxious Celtic Guard in defense mode." Drifter summons one of his more trustful warriors to the field. [L4/Earth/Warrior/DEF 1200]
"You battle me with a rat, a rock, and an elf? Are you just mocking me at this point? No matter, I still have more cards to play. I summon the Mad Sword Beast in attack mode." Jagger summons the large, imposing dinosaur with a sword-like horn. [L4/Earth/Dinosaur/ATK 1400]
Jagger takes a moment to decide on his next move. Knowing the effect of Drifter's Celtic Guard, he plans around it. "I attack Celtic Guard with Mad Sword Beast." The dinosaur charges for the Celtic Guard. Despite defending with their sword, Drifter's monster is destroyed. "When battling a defense monster, Sword Beast deals excess damage to you."
[Drifter 2800 LP]
"One monster down, one to go. Dokurorider will attack your set monster!" As Jagger's monster clashes with the set card, it flips up to reveal, "Penguin Soldier!" Jagger shouts in terror as the sword-wielding penguin strikes back at both monsters. [DEF 500]
"When flipped up, Penguin Soldier returns up to 2 monsters back to the hand, and I choose both of yours," with one slap, the brave penguin bounces the monsters back to Jagger's hand.
Jagger stands there dumbstruck. With nothing else to do, he ends his turn, leaving himself wide open.
"Draw. It's my turn to go on the attack, and I'll use this monster to do just that. Go! Luster Dragon!" Drifter summons a beautiful dragon made of sapphire to his side. [L4/Wind/Dragon/ATK 1900] "Attack him directly!" Luster Dragon unleashes their flames on Jagger, taking almost half of his life points with him.
[Jagger 2100 LP]
"Lucky shot," Jagger gets back on their feet after getting hit by such a blow. Drawing from his deck, once again his luck on the draw pays off. "I activate Card of Sanctity. We both draw until we have 6 cards in hand." Suddenly, both players hand exactly six cards to their names. "I activate Magic Stone Escvation. I discard 2 cards to get back my Revival of Dokurorider card. And I'll use it again. I tribute the Summoned Skull in my hand to bring back Dokurorider!" His ace monster returns to the field, having used up almost all of his hand to do so. "Finally, I activate Riryoku, I halve Luster Dragon's attack, and then give it to Dokurorider until the end of the turn." [Luster Dragon ATK 950] [Dokurorider ATK 2850]
Armed with their new power, Dokurorider rams their bike into Luster Dragon, destroying them in just one attack. With nothing else to do, having used up their hand, Jagger ends his turn.
[Drifter 900 LP]
"Draw your last card, so that I can finally put an end to this duel!"
Drifter dusts himself off before drawing. "I'm afraid this duel is already over, and you helped me do it. Since your spell card allowed me to draw cards too, I can use this, spell card, Polymerization! I use this magic to fuse Berformet and Gazelle the King of Mythical Beasts in my hand, to fusion summon Chimera the Flying Mythical Beast!" Using the cards in his hand, Drifter summons the two-headed beast known as Chimera. [L6/Wind/Beast/ATK 2100]
"No! That monster is stronger than Dokurorider!"
"There's more. I still have more cards to play, like this, Double Spell! By discarding another from my hand, I can use a spell card from your grave as my own. And the card I chose is Riryoku!" Using Jagger's own spell card, Dokurorider loses half of their attack points and gives them to Chimera. [ATK 950] [ATK 3050]
Jagger just stands there and says nothing as Drifter calls the attack. The twin-headed beast pounces on the demon biker and destroys them in one go. One head destroys the bike, the other the rider.
[Jagger 0 LP]
Drifter goes to walk away when Jagger grabs him by the shoulder. "Hey, wait!" Drifter can already see that Jagger is starting to fade away from this world. "You bested me. It's only fair I give you these," he hands Drifter a set of keys before gesturing to one of the motorcycles parked up in front of the bar. "Take good care of her," he says before fading to nothing, leaving behind his duel disk.
With the keys in hand, Drifter clenches them tight before taking the bike as his own. It's not long before he's already down the road, kicking up dust with the back of his tires, leaving the sight as another stepping stone on his journey.
