One Week Together
Lisbon's House
Arcade Street
Austin, Texas
4:00 pm
Their first fight had happened on the one-week anniversary of them being together. Lisbon had been finishing up with the unpacking of her boxes (some were still to be returned to her). She and Jane had been watching some random documentary on TV about America's Worst Serial Killers… and there was a small segment in that documentary about Red John. Neither of them had expected it, in fact, because he was mainly California based, they didn't think he was worth of a country wide appearance. However, the segment was only small, he was mentioned has having killed 'over thirty people' in California, and that he had been 'taken out' in a vigilante killing. Jane's name wasn't mentioned, neither was the CBI, or the Blake Association. But it had shocked them and thrown a spanner in to the middle of their brand-new relationship… Jane had become closed off after that and was now washing the dishes in her kitchen in a silence that she didn't like. She had tried to talk to him about it, had asked what it had felt like to finally kill Red John, but he had shut off. The look in his eyes was reminiscent of the past… that one he used to have when he would fall inevitably into the despair that he had of not being able to catch Red John, or having him so close, but then him getting away. Lisbon didn't like that; she had not missed that look.
Jane had been so happy go lucky, that smile rarely left his face since they got together, but now, when he looked at her, it was with fear. The fear that Red John would come back… that he would hurt her… that he would have to go through all of that again. Their first fight was about this. Lisbon was annoyed because Jane was refusing to talk to her about it, and had resorted to his old, secretive ways, so she had snapped. She told him that he was being a jerk, had gone back to how it was before, and that she didn't want any part of that. She wanted him to talk to her about this… no more secrets. This had all been said whilst Jane was restrained to the bed with her handcuffs (they had just finished having sex), so she could understand why he was upset. She had basically restrained him… like that time that he was glad wrapped to a chair, and Red John appeared and 'saved him'. After that event, he was shaken. It took him a while to come back to them, but she swore she would never restrain him, or make him talk… and that's what she did. So, they had their first fight. Neither liked it.
Now, they're sitting in stony silence, on opposite ends of her couch. Jane is reading a book; Lisbon is angrily flicking through TV channels. In the end, it's Patrick who snaps, asking her to just 'pick a damn channel', before looking back down at the page of his book. Lisbon snapped then as well, but only because she was worried, and frightened and scared. She didn't like how Patrick handled things back then. When Jane wouldn't look at her, she began telling him about how she was sorry. For restraining him. Or for making him think that was her forcing him to talk about something he wasn't ready for, and she saw it… she saw the guilt on his face… what he felt for hurting her. She held back the emotions, because she knew that Jane would forever beat himself up for hurting her, even slightly like this. She hates that, but she knows that it's true. Lisbon flicks the TV off, and turns to face Jane, calmly asking him if they can talk, because when they fight, they just need to fight and work it out, or they're going to fall apart. Reluctantly, Jane put his book down, and in turn, turned to face Lisbon. He hasn't had a fight like this since his wife died, and sure, he and Lisbon would argue back at the CBI, but that was different, they weren't in a relationship. Now, he has so much to lose. She brought up the documentary and Red John.
Jane tensed, and stood up, pacing behind the couch whilst Lisbon talked, saying that she had been scared that he was reverting to how he was when he was still alive, that she didn't want him to go back into that hole of depression, that they're stronger together now. McAllister is dead, they don't have to worry. Jane turns to her, his face falling a little, before he sits back down, elbows rested on his knees, head in his hands. Lisbon was taken a little aback by this reaction, wondering if this was something that had been on Jane's mind for a while now… and that stupid documentary just brought up all those bad feelings again. She just let Jane have a moment, before he turned to her, grabbed her hands, and apologised to her. He just kept muttering apologies, whilst Lisbon moved so that she could hug him, and then he broke down, her heart shattered a little at the pain that her boyfriend was obviously still feeling. There are still many things they need to talk about, and there isn't any better time than the present. She just calmly shushed Jane, rubbing his back comfortingly, letting him prepare himself.
'Teresa, I love you. More than anything. It has taken me a long time to get to this point, you know that, and I would never do anything to hurt you. But I have… previously. I have a lot of things to apologise for. But I will never apologise for killing McAllister. If that is what you want, you won't get it,' Jane said, looking her in the eyes, and she could tell that he was serious.
'I don't want you to apologise for killing McAllister. Patrick, I just want you to be able to come to me… about everything… anything. We need to talk, no more hiding, no more tricks, no more pretending. We both need to be honest and open and talk about things. If we have to fight, we will… that's healthy for a relationship,' she said, hearing this from her brother.
'The moment after he was dead, I felt like this huge black cloud had been lifted off me. I called you, you didn't answer. I left a message. It was the last time I spoke to you. Lisbon if I could have taken you with me, I would have. If I could have stayed, not in prison, I would have. If I wasn't a coward, and I had told you how I really felt back then… those two years on the island were torture. All I wanted, was to come home to you. Then when I did, you were so mad at me, and I knew I had a lot to do… still have a lot to do… to make it up to you. So, I pushed you away again, whilst we worked through those issues. Then you met Marcus. I had tried to convince myself that he was right for you, that you deserved better than me…but in the end, I couldn't. I was scared, terrified, of losing you, even if it was only to DC, and my only option…'
'Was to lie, trick and play games? Jane… I knew that Marcus didn't have my heart. I knew that I had feelings for you, but I was scared too. I could tell you were fishing for anything to get me to stay, but I denied it, because I didn't want to be hurt. So, when you told me to go… it hurt me… but it also hurt you. I should have just asked you about your feelings then and there… but I was scared, hurt and mad at you. But I forgive you Patrick. I have you now, and you have me,' she said, but Jane just burst into tears, and all she could make out was 'deserve better'. She kissed him, telling him that he deserves her, and she him, and she would always tell him that.
Then they fought. Then they had their first ever round of make-up sex.

Lisbon's House
Arcade Street
Austin, Texas
11:35 am
The morning after their fight, Jane and Lisbon are lying, curled up to each other, in her bed, both still naked. They decided that today, they would talk. Really talk. Lisbon acknowledged that she knew Jane needed to kill McAllister, but she wouldn't let herself think that, because of those feelings, clouding her judgement, and wanting to try and get him to see sense. See that they could have done it together. He had told her, that he wanted to keep them all safe, and the best way to do that, was to keep them in the dark, go it alone. Jane also said that if they had of just caught him, put him in prison, there is no way he would have seen a trial…. Not with all those Blake Associate members around. He would have gotten out. Lisbon agreed… finally after all these years… that Jane was right about that. He apologised to her for what happened to the CBI, and the pain they had to endure trying to prove they weren't a part of the Blake Association. She accepted his apology and kissed him. She apologised to him for hiding her true feelings and trying to make him feel bad about returning them, and that she always did appreciate him… even when he was irritating.
Jane accepted, and she kissed him. Then, he apologised for running off to the island for two years… for hiding from her 'love of justice'. But she stopped him, a hand over his mouth, telling him that if he had of stayed… he would have been 'on death row'. Jane had long accepted that he wouldn't live past his killing of Red John. He assumed they would either go down together, or he would kill the man, and then kill himself. But Lisbon's voice rang in his head after he had killed the man… he didn't want to let that voice down… so he ran away… but he lived. Or he tried to learn to live again. As weak as he was back then, he has become stronger now. He also apologised for forcing Lisbon to move to Austin and leave behind her job in Washington State. She thanked him for apologising, but also admitted that she 'hated' that job, and was 'actually thrilled', when he made her come to the FBI. Jane's ego inflated a little, and he boasted, until Lisbon pinched him, and he came back to earth, kissing her. For all the things that he had done to her, he was truly sorry. Lisbon knew that, and had forgiven him, truly she has. But she always has that niggling in the back of her mind… is he going to run off again? Why is he still wearing his wedding ring? The last one she must have asked out loud, because Jane looked down at his left hand, then back up at her. She didn't need an answer right now, so she just kissed him.
Their kiss turned heated, and Lisbon straddled Jane's waist, grinding against him, smirking when she felt him get hard beneath her. Jane ran his hands down her sides, causing her to squirm, still trying to deny the fact that she is ticklish. Jane smirked, as Lisbon pushed him back onto the mattress, palms flat on his chest, then she slid down, kissing his exposed skin as she went, making sure that it was slow, torturous, and extended. When she reached the desired area, she looked back up at Jane, who was looking down at her, mouth slightly ajar, hands fisted beside him on the bed. She licked up his prick, then took him in her mouth, moaning against the stick as she sucked, enthusiastically. Patrick threw his head back, raising his hands to cover his face, rubbing them down, and then caressing Lisbon's cheek, and running them through her hair. She ran her hands up his torso, down his sides, smirking when he figured out that he is also ticklish. She hadn't done this in years. The last person she gave a blow job too was… Lisbon released Jane with a pop, suddenly sitting back on her legs, looking at Jane, who tilted his head slightly to the side, worry in his eyes. She smiled at him, kissed him on the lips, promising that he hadn't done anything, and he nodded, pushing her back down towards his cock. She smirked but went back to sucking.
She didn't want to think about anyone but Patrick. He's gorgeous. She had, for so long, imagined what he might look like naked. Under those suits that he wears, he leaves nothing to the imagination. So, she had to conjure up her own ideas on lonely nights spent alone in her apartment all those years before… but now… only she gets to look, touch, and enjoy the muscled figure that is… Patrick Jane. She released him with a pop again, and moved back up to kiss him, only to be flipped onto her back. She was slightly worried what was happening, when Jane began to press kisses all the way down her exposed body, but when he neared her centre, she knew, and she was excited. She had never experienced tongue before… she wanted it. Oh god she did. Lisbon worried her lip between her teeth, the blush becoming more and more prominent, the closer Jane got to her area. When he was there, he looked back up at her, and she nodded, almost too enthusiastically. He chuckled, came back up to kiss her, but she pushed him down and patted his head. Jane smirked, who was he to deny Lisbon whatever she wants. The minute she felt it, she let out a scream of Jane's name… throwing her head back, hands fondling her own breasts.
'OH god… yes,'
'You're so good Teresa,' he said, working his tongue in her flaps
'God… you're so fucking good Patrick… oh god yes. Don't stop… oh god,' she said, and if she was in her right mind, she would have scolded herself for saying those things
'Anything you wish my love… I will give you,' Jane said, but she told him to shut up and get on with it already.

Volente Beach Resort
and Waterpark
Leander, Texas
11:00 am
Lisbon had randomly suggested that they go to the beach. It's summer, it's hot outside, and she felt like swimming. Someone had mentioned this awesome park in Leander, which is only a couple of hours from Austin, so she and Jane had packed themselves some summer clothes and it was the first time she had ever seen Jane in shorts. She liked it so much that she almost jumped him, kissing him against the front door, when he came out wearing a blue t-shirt, and denim shorts, with boating shoes. She had a long maxi dress on, with a surprise underneath, just for Jane. She was self-conscious about wearing a bikini, but she wanted desperately to see the look on his face. Their little room at the resort had a private pool, connected to their small villa. Lisbon was going to make sure that Jane would see her in a bikini, and that he wouldn't be able to remove that image from his memory palace. She would implant it in his brain. Once she was done jumping Jane, they packed their things into the car, and Lisbon began driving them towards Leander. Jane napped on the way, but she didn't mind, she did wear him out last night and this morning.
The memory washed over her, and she felt herself tingle at what was coming and what had been happening. As she drove along, she began to think about how they're going to act when they got back to work. It has been nice, just the two of them, adjusting to their relationship, but she knows how Jane can be when she is in danger, and now that they're together, he has made it clear, that he will worry about her, and sure she understands that she worries about him too. But it's her job, and she loves her job. Don't think about work right now Teresa… you still have a week off… she had promised herself that she wouldn't think about work until it was absolutely necessary. Like the day she goes back. She hasn't heard from Abbott, but Cho had texted her, asking how she is. She said that she's good, but he still thinks she's in DC for some reason. He didn't ask about Jane, and she didn't know what the two of them had talked about when they caught up the other night for drinks, but she doesn't mind. Jane needs to have some guy friends, he's never really had them before… except for Rigsby, but he lives in California still. Lisbon welcomes anyone who can be friends with Jane… sometimes it's nice to have a break from the Mentalist.
It was just on eleven when Lisbon pulled into the resort parking lot. Jane was awake, and had gone in to finalise their room, and get their keys. This is their first official little vacation together, and neither of them had tried to think about how big of a deal that was, but now she has thought about it, she can't stop. Of course, they have been away together before, but never when they have been in a relationship. Lisbon smiled when she saw Jane coming back to the car, still unable to get over how amazing he looks in casual down clothes. Even during summers in Sacramento, he would be wearing his three-piece suit. She would ask him if everything was alright, if he was too hot, and he made some lame excuse about 'never feeling it'. She didn't believe him, and Cho had even told her once that whilst he and Jane were out interrogating suspects, he almost fainted from heatstroke. She believed Cho was telling the truth but had her suspicions that Jane may have been joking. So now he's here, dressed in summer clothes and she can't believe it. Once Jane is back in the car, he gives her directions to their little villa. It's secluded enough that they have their own little parking area. Lisbon stops the car, turning it off, and getting out. She takes a moment, just to take in the surroundings, then helps Jane with the bags. Inside, she can't believe her eyes.
This is nice than most of the other places she has ever stayed in… it's like one of those places she would have expected Jane to have stayed when he was a psychic. But she knows that Jane just likes to 'give her the best of everything', so she doesn't complain. Once their bags are in their room, Jane wraps his arms around her waist, his front to her back, and kisses her neck. They just stand there together like that for a few minutes, looking out the window at the view from their little villa. Lisbon then announces that she wants to go swimming. Their villa has a private pool and spa. Jane smiles and removes his shirt (Lisbon's leering makes him smirk) and replaces his denim shorts with board shorts. He grabs the sunblock, and a hat and his sunglasses, before telling Lisbon he'll "race her". She watches him run towards the pool, stopping to kick his thongs off, before jumping in… Well Teresa… it's now or never… she tells herself, removing her dress so that she is in nothing but her bikini, the one she brought when she and Grace went shopping that one time, and the red head had convinced her to buy it. Lisbon takes a deep breath, grabs her swim shirt (for later) and her hat, and heads out towards the pool. Just like in her fantasy, when Jane sees her coming, he freezes on the spot, in the water, and just gapes at her. She's smirking, and before he can say anything, she gracefully dives into the pool, swimming over to him. Jane had short circuited in his brain. When he saw Lisbon coming towards him, looking mega sexy in that bikini, his carefully constructed brain turned to mush.
'See something you like?' she asked, pressing herself against him, and he in turn against the wall of the pool.
'Ah… nice ah… you look… ah… wow,' was all he could manage, Lisbon smirked.
'I figured I'd break this one out of its cell. Do you like it,' she asked, doing a little spin for Jane, who she could tell was trying to stop himself from getting hard… and failing?
'I don't think like is the right word Teresa…' he said, and she finally gave him what he wanted… a kiss.

Jane and Lisbon's Villa
Volente Beach Resort
Leander, Texas
7:00 pm
Lisbon had left Jane hanging. He was having trouble communicating with her whilst she was wearing nothing but two precariously thin strips of fabric that barely covered her goods. She was pleased that this was the reaction, but soon realised that they wouldn't get anywhere like this… so she swam to the edge, deliberately wiggling her ass so that Jane could see, and the sound he made was the icing on the cake. She pulled her swim shirt to her, and then over her head. Jane seemed to slowly re-gain his mental capability for talking, and told her that he was stunned by her, that she was gorgeous (all the time) but especially in that bikini. She blushed but thanked him. They swam around for a whilst, kissing along the way, then Jane announced that he was hungry, and going to order them room service. Lisbon smiled as he got out of the pool, taking a moment to playfully smack his butt, causing him to become surprised, and almost slip over. She winked at him as he walked back into the room, to the room phone.
The selection they had here was amazing, and Lisbon was pretty hungry. After one more lap of the pool, she too got out, wrapping the towel around her body, and going to join Jane in their little dining area. He had set the table and had a bottle of wine in between them. He had also gotten re-dressed, but Lisbon just had her towel wrapped around her, teasing Jane because she still had her bikini on as well, and anytime she wanted to break her boyfriend, she could just stand and drop the towel. Apparently along the same thought line, Jane watched his girlfriend, as she deliberately leaned forward, teasing him. He wasn't going to give into her game but liked that Teresa felt confident enough to try and play it for him. There was a knocking on the door to their villa, and Jane stood up, mostly to try and get rid of the hard on, going to answer the door, letting the room service guy in. He wheeled the small food tray into the house, and Jane grabbed the food, setting them down on the table, before tipping the boy, who left quickly. Lisbon had gone to put her dress back on and was pouring wine when Jane returned to the table after closing the door. He kissed her, and thanked her, before they both sat down. Lisbon raised her glass, and made a toast 'to them', clinking together before taking a sip. She has never been this happy. Neither has Jane, he can say that with confidence. Watching Teresa in front of him, her smile, he had missed that… or at least he had missed having it directed towards him. For a long while she was angry at him. But they're good now.
Seeing as they had planned this spontaneously, Jane hadn't had a chance to scope out any nice places to take Lisbon for dinner. She told Jane that she didn't mind just 'hanging out in the villa', but he had wanted to take her somewhere nice. She smiled, then told him that it was good because 'she brought date clothes' and went upstairs to shower and change. Jane chuckled to himself, before getting his phone out and doing a quick search for local restaurants around the area. One that stood out to him was Felicia's… an Italian Restaurant not too far from where they're staying. Jane went upstairs to their bedroom and stood at the bathroom door. Lisbon was running the shower but hadn't gotten in yet. When she heard Jane's suggestion, she agreed that it was 'good'. Then grabbed his phone from his hand, threw it onto the bed, and began undressing him. He watched her drop the towel, before motioning for him to join her in the shower with her finger. Jane didn't waste any time, chuckling as he grabbed Lisbon, wrapping himself around her body, and both of them under the water. His hands roamed over her, soaping her up, giving little pressure point massages when he could. Then, Lisbon flipped around to face him, drove him back into the wall of the shower, and kissed him. This is the first time they've had sex in the shower… and Lisbon would absolutely do it again. Bonus: there is no clean up required.
After they had both come down from the high, they exited the shower, dried, dressed and prepared themselves for date night. Lisbon complained that Jane was ready too quickly, and he told her that she didn't need all that 'make up crap' he thinks she's beautiful. She threw something at him, pouting and he just kissed her, earning a whack to his chest when she complained about him 'ruining her lipstick'. He chuckled, and grinned as he exited the bathroom, calling out to her that he'll 'wait downstairs.' This place isn't as fancy as the place they went on their first date, but Lisbon still put on a nice dress, a strappy pair of sandals, and did her hair and make-up. Jane had gone for that more laid-back suit that he had worn at the beginning of their acquaintance. Just the suit pants and shirt without the vest. He looked wonderful. They arrived at the restaurant and walked up to the maître d, who asked for their booking, then led them to their seats. Jane and Lisbon followed closely behind, thanking the woman, who handed them menus before smiling and heading back to her position. Lisbon looked around at the place, then back at Jane who was watching her, smiling.
'This is beautiful Patrick,' she said, taking a sip of the glass of water on the table.
'Yes, you are Teresa,' he said, smiling that stupid grin that she pretends to hate, but really loves.
'You think you're so charming… seriously, thank you from bringing me out, and for going along with me on this spontaneous trip,' she said, taking his hand across the table.
'Always Teresa,' he replied, grinning again.

Leander Sports Bar
And Grille
Leander, Texas
12:00 noon
They had decided to go exploring on their second day in Leander. Lisbon had stumbled across a sports bar and had dragged Jane inside. They found a small, secluded table in the back, and ordered some food and drinks. Lisbon was telling Jane a story about her brothers, and one of their sport games. Her brother Stan had wanted to play baseball, had begged, and begged her to take him to a game, so she did, and she had to bring Tommy and Jimmy with her. They sat in the stands, whilst Stan played in his game, and cheered so loudly for their brother, that he almost missed the ball a few times. Teresa had always been a strong supporter of her brothers doing their own things and had long ago given them the opportunity. Jane listened, entranced by stories from her past, because she, like him, never really spoke about it. It was nice to just be able to share all the things about them that they had kept hidden for so long. Lisbon liked having someone she could share all her stories with. Lisbon's favourite team was playing on TV, and she and Jane had been betting between themselves.
When one fumbled, Lisbon had gone up to get drinks, and turned back to Patrick cringing, he just raised his arms in a shrug and smiled. He wasn't really into sports, but he let Lisbon explain all the rules to him, and watched the games when her team was playing, and had, on a few occasions, been threatened with her gun, if he chose the wrong team to barrack for. Therefore, he just goes for whomever his girlfriend is going for, and it always seems to work out. However sometimes, he likes to stir the pot, and he'll bet on the other team, just to see Lisbon's reactions. She knows his games and doesn't play along but appreciates that Jane is interested in what she is interested in, even if he has absolutely no idea about anything that is happening, and only pretends for her sake. That just makes her love him even more than she already does, which is impossible. When their fries arrive, Jane snags the first one, whilst Lisbon sips at the diet coke, and silently mutters curse words as her team fumble another pass. Jane just loves watching her when the sports is on. He takes a picture with his phone, causing her to turn to him, smirking and raising an eyebrow. He just winks at her, before showing her his new screensaver. She blushes and looks back at the TV. A little while later, she and Jane have re-located to the bar, and are about two drinks in each. They're not drunk just a little happy on alcohol.
When a guy came up to her, and started trying to flirt with her, she saw something in Jane's eyes that she hadn't seen in a while… jealousy. She knows that Jane dislikes violence, but he had told her once that he would fight for her, even if it meant him risking his life, and from the way he puts his arm around her, as if to stake his claim, she knows that is true. She likes that Jane is possessive of her like that, and it's because he doesn't act like that all the time, leaving her mostly free to be herself… except when creeps are hitting on her. The guy doesn't take a hint, so Lisbon threatens to shoot him, if he comes near her again. Instead of making this idiot run away, it apparently turns him on. She really doesn't want to make a scene in this bar. Really, she doesn't, but she can feel Jane tensing beside her, and she doesn't want to put him in a bad position, because she doesn't have her gun, or her badge on her (she's suspended), so even if she wanted to, she wouldn't be able to shoot the guy. The minute he touches her on the arm, is the moment that Jane seems to burst in to action, pushing the guy back from them, asking him nicely to leave his girlfriend alone. She feels a burst of pride, love, and lust as she watches Jane defend her honour. Then it kind of goes to crap.
Creepy guy clocks Jane once, then his mates descend on them, and a barrage of punches begin to fly… it's only when the bar owner shoots his gun into the roof, that everyone stops. Lisbon had taken down three of them, so when the chance came to get out of there, she grabbed Jane, who was groaning and bleeding, and they left without another word. Jane's arm was around her, she was supporting his weight, but she could tell that he was hurt. His other arm was clutching his ribs, so she figured either bruised or broken. When they got back to the car, she helped him in, apologising for bumping his injuries, and ran around to the driver's side. Jane perked up, stating that he didn't want to go to the hospital, but Lisbon ignored him. He couldn't bare fighting with her about this, so he just let her take him there. The trip was done mostly in silence, and she thought back to when Jane had defended her honour… she knows he wasn't weak, and she'll tell him that till the day they both die. The hospital was noisy, but Jane was taken back, checked out by a doctor, and released, with instructions to 'take it easy', and take pain killers. They headed back to the villa.
'I'm sorry Teresa,' Jane almost whispered as she sat him down on one of the sofas in their little living area.
'What for? Defending me? Never apologise Patrick. It was kind of hot…' she said.
'What? Me getting beat up like a pussy?' he asked, groaning when she deliberately poked his sore ribs.
'You're not a pussy Patrick. You stood up, told the guy to leave us alone. We were outnumbered, and neither of us could have predicted what would happen,' she said, kissing him to assure him of that.
'I love you,' he said, and she kissed him again.

Jane and Lisbon's Villa
Volente Beach Resort
Leander, Texas
7:00 pm
They settled in for the night, with room service, and movies galore. Jane snuggled up to Lisbon, who just held him, lightly caressing his hair with her fingers, and pressing soft kisses to his temple. The first three buttons of his shirt were undone, and Lisbon had changed into her old college T-shirt and a pair of yoga pants. Her hair was tied in a ponytail on top of her head. They were the epitome of casual. Their conversation ranged from Lisbon telling Jane she is going to buy him some 'comfy down clothes', to him stating that he is going to buy her 'something classy and expensive to wear on their dates'. Then they discussed money issues, and both agreed to talk about purchases, unless for a super special surprise. Jane told her that he didn't care about money, he wanted to spend it on her, because she deserves everything, and he doesn't need it, he has enough to live. She appreciated the gesture, but reminded him of her independence, which he accepted, with some clauses, like birthday, anniversaries, and surprises 'just when he feels like it'. She couldn't argue with that, so she gave in. Their final day in Leander is tomorrow, then they head back to Austin.
They have five more days of suspension, returning to work on the first of August, and Lisbon honestly can't wait, not that she hasn't loved these two weeks, she has, but she had missed working. Jane has missed it too; he just won't admit it. These two weeks have been the best two weeks of his life, and he can say that confidently, above all the other days that he has lived. Lisbon had received a call from Grace, not long after they had gotten back to the Villa. She had been probed by the red head about her relationship with Jane, because Cho had mentioned that she 'hadn't gone to DC', and she gave in and told her friend that they're together, they're in a relationship, boyfriend, and girlfriend. Grace had squealed excitedly, which had caused Wayne to come running into the room, asking what was happening in the background. Of course, Grace had covered well, but they had spent the better part of their conversation talking about her new relationship and had made plans to meet up again. Lisbon looked down to where Jane was napping on her lap, and smiled… I'm so damn happy… she thought to herself. There was a loud noise in the movie, and Jane startled awake, earning a chuckle from Lisbon, and then a calming kiss. Eventually she must have also dozed off, because she woke to the most beautiful sunrise that she and Jane watched together.
