Author's Notes: We're soon at the end of this arc called "The Fighters Arc". We've only got 5 chapters left until we move onto the next arc of the story. I am pretty excited. Anyway, enjoy this second part of the three-parter known as "Trouble at the Great Wall".

Chapter 8: Trouble at the Great Wall - Part 2

[The Great Wall of China]

(3rd POV)

With the Alpha Gang, they had managed to get out from the tree and were still hoping to the Great Wall. "I don't know about you guys, but I'm feeling a bit jumpy," Zander said, as they all slouched over, tired from all the bouncing.

"I feel like I'm gonna throw up!" Ed added, before covering his mouth, all the bouncing making his stomach upset.

"Well, I feel hopping mad!" Ursula yelled. "I've had enough of all this bouncing around! Where's the off button, Zander?"

"Hang on, we're almost there." Zander assured her. "I see the top from here. Just think of it as a trampoline."

"I hate trampolines!" she groaned.

"Who are they?" Ed wondered, pointing to the group of people in front of them running and screaming for their lives.

The team just happened to land right at the time the group of people was able to run all over them, flattening them like pancakes and leaving many footprints across their bodies.

"From trampoline to tramped-lean…" Zander groaned in the dirt.

Soon they heard a roar and saw the dinosaur by the wall. "There it is, the dinosaur!" Ursula exclaimed before trying to identify it. "A car- a carcara- how do you pronounce that thing?" She asked as she couldn't get the name right.

"I think it's called care-curry-car-a-dinosaurus," Ed told her as he also tried and failed to say the name.

"You're both wrong," said Zander smugly. "It's pronounced cara-thodontho-saurus. I think…" he muttered the last line.

Thankfully for them, the dinosaur couldn't hear them, otherwise she would have taken offense to the attempts at her name.

[Meanwhile]

(Daniel's POV)

We teleported into one of the forts on the Great Wall when we heard the roar from the dinosaur. We all ran toward the window to see the large carnivore. It was far away, so Zoe used her goggles to get a better look. "Wow, that's a really big one! And look at those large, razer-sharp teeth. It's a Carcharodontosaurus!" she informed us.

"Those things, I remember are bigger than me," Tyrunt noted, both nervous and excited at the challenge.

"At least we beat the Alpha Gang here," I spoke.

"Wrong!"

"Never mind…" I muttered.

"We're here, and that cara-corra-donka-dinka-saurus is ours!" Ursula yelled at us from one of the sky trams.

"Oh, look, it's the old lady!" Zoe pointed to the Alpha Gang.

"Stop calling me an old lady!" Ursula yelled angrily at her as she squinted her face against the screen while Zander and Ed backed away in fear. "And anyway, brats, this is a serious expedition the Alpha Gang is on. Not a field trip for kiddies. So, why don't you all pack up your lunch boxes and go back home!"

"You won't get the dinosaur before us!" Max called as he and the others were running after the sky tram.

I tried to run after them, but I heard a voice from behind. "Stop right there, kid!"

I stopped in my tracks and looked back. It was a group of three who were a bit older than me. "I'm not in the mood right now for you," I muttered. "I need to get the dinosaur."

"Well, that's what we're here for, too!"

"Oh, yeah?" Tyrunt growled.

"If you think you can stop us, then think again!" I called to them. I turned around, before another member of the group appeared right in front of me and Tyrunt.

"Daniel!" Rex noticed what was happening behind them.

"I can handle this, guys!" I yelled to them. "Go get the Carcharadontosaurus!"

"You got it!" Rex nodded, running with Max and Zoe.

"Do you think you can beat us four by yourself?" the man asked, before cackling. "I like a good challenge!"

I growled, as did Tyrunt.

Soon, the four people brought me to a different part of the Great Wall and we stood face-to-face in front of each other. A calm wind blew.

"Let's do this!" one of the members of the opposing group called.

"Yeah!" the girl, whom I recognized having seen before, agreed.

"We're going to win this, then help our friends, Tyrunt," I told him.

He nodded. "You got it, pal!"

"GO!" I yelled, turning him into his card. "DINO SLASH! Tyrannosaurus, ROAR!"

Tyrunt appeared in his full size and roared at the four people.

"Let's go!" the girl spoke. "BETA SLASH! Velociraptor, go for it!"

"Tarbosaurus, let's get goin'!" the first man to the right of the girl added.

The Velociraptor and Tarbosaurus appeared in their full sizes.

The Battlefield soon appeared around us, changing the skies.

(3rd POV)

Ursula mumbled something inside the tram. "Oh great. Looks like the brats beat us to the dinosaur."

"I don't think so, that Daniel kid seems to be fighting someone," Zander noted, pointing to the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"Oh, you're right," Ursula realized. "Then we can still catch that care-a-carre-ortho-dontist!"

The Carcharodontosaurus started approaching the sky tram until she saw the trio immediately gulping and paled in fear.

"Mmmp! How strong do you think these tram cars are?" Ursula asked.

"Probably not as strong as the jaws of that dinosaur!" Ed answered.

"Don't worry," Zander assured. "He's probably not hungry for a human being…"

"But what if he's hungry for three human beings?!" They all said at the same time.

The Carcharodontosaurus soon bashed her head against the car, nearly smashing the the glass completely.

The Alpha trio soon regained their footing and tried to act all tough. "Hey, pal, do you know who you're knocking around?" Ursula asked her. "You better prepare yourself, for we are…"

"The Alpha Gang!" They all finished, just as the Carcharodontosaurus rammed the car again, this time making the glass shatter and the Alpha Gang fly out. "Whoa!"

They landed in her mouth, and if it wasn't for the jumping shoes they would have been her lunch, as they bounced out of her mouth and back into the tram before her jaws snapped shut.

"You can thank me later for sneaking on the shoes!" Zander told them as he and the other two shook with fear.

"I'll thank you now while I still can!" Ed said.

(Daniel's POV)

I looked behind to the dinosaur, seeing she was giving the Alpha Gang a hard time.

"Hey, you're clearly not wise to look away from your opponents!" the girl spoke to me.

I realized what she meant and glanced back at the battle between Tyrunt and the Tarbosaurus, as well as the Velociraptor.

Tyrunt was heatbutting with the Tarbosaurus while the Velociraptor jumped onto his back, biting into his skin. "Grr!" he growled in irritation. "Get off of me, you creep!" He whipped his head around to bite at the raptor, eventually it jumped away before he could snap at it.

"Tyrunt, let's show 'em who they shouldn't mess with!" I called to him.

"I'm with ya, partner!"

I swiped his Move Card in the Dino Gauntlet. "Volcanic Fire!" I shouted. Just then, Tyrunt whipped his head around and fired the flames at the Tarbosaurus, who quickly moved away from the line of fire by jumping to the side.

"Ha!" the man laughed. "You need to better aim at your foe, kid!"

I grit my teeth in anger at his mocking.

"Daniel, don't listen to him!" Tyrunt reminded me. "Focus on the battle!"

"You're one to talk," said the other man in the group. "Are you not forgetting something, Tyrannosaurus?"

Tyrunt blinked before a new dinosaur appeared on the field. "Three against one, huh?" He looked at the new opponent, seeing it was a Sinoceratops.

"That's not fair!" I called over to them.

"Well, what'd you expect us to do? Play fair?" the leader chuckled. "We're not like those Alpha goons you seem to be able to beat so easily."

I growled. "Tyrunt, Tail Smash!" I swiped his next Move Card in the Gauntlet.

"You got it, pal!" Tyrunt roared, glowing red for a moment before he ran towards the new Sinoceratops, who stood still while Tyrunt approached it.

The leader of the Beta Gang shouted: "Thunder Crack!"

As soon as he swiped his Move Card, the Sinoceratops roared when black clouds appeared in the sky above Tyrunt. Then, a thunderous boom was heard while Tyrunt roared in pain, his movement stopped in the electrifying shock.

"Tyrunt!" I gasped, seeing it was soon over for Tyrunt while the Sinoceratops moved in for the kill.

Just then, a Carnotaurus appeared and bashed the Sinoceratops away from my dinosaur. It was Ace, who had arrived.

"Sorry I was late, guys," Ace spoke, standing beside Tyrunt. "Rex and Max are currently assisting Zoe."

"What happened?" I asked.

"I'll explain later, when we beat these guys," Ace simply said.

"I appreciate the help, Ace," Tyrunt said gratefully.

"You're not forgetting us, are you?" the leader reminded us.

I smirked. "No. Let's go, Ace and Tyrunt!"

"You got it!" They roared.

"Head Charge!" I yelled, swiping the third Move Card in my Dino Gauntlet for Tyrunt, who glowed red before he charged towards the Sinoceratops and bashed his head against its own.

The Sinoceratops landed on the ground, beaten when it turned into its card.

Ace smacked his tail at the Velociraptor, eventually defeating it.

"How did you…" the girl looked at the scene before her, stunned.

"Let's go!" I shouted, pointing at the Tarbosaurus as the last opponent we needed to beat.

Ace and Tyrunt worked together in beating the Tarbosaurus up, before it was turned into its card and picked up by its owner.

"This isn't over, kid!" The leader pointed at me. "Next time, you won't be so lucky!"

They teleported away.

"Let's assist our friends!" I called to Ace and Tyrunt, who nodded while Tyrunt leaned his head down, allowing me to climb on before we raced to the destroyed fort, where Chomp was currently standing frozen.
