"Sakura." Kakashi whispered her name to wake her up. With the complete loss of her sense of touch, shaking her would not yield any result. "Sakura." He gently called her name, leaning down to press a soft kiss on her forehead. "Please, Sakura, wake up for me."

Sakura stirred, slowly waking up from her deep slumber. Her eyes fluttered open, and she looked up at Kakashi with a soft, sleepy smile. "Hmm? What is it, Kakashi?"

Kakashi cupped her cheek, his touch gentle even though she can't feel it anymore. He will never raise a hand to intentionally hurt her. "I want to remind you of your medicine. You still have to take them."

Sakura nodded, the routine of taking her medicine deeply ingrained in her daily life. She reached out to the nightstand, where Kakashi had already prepared the necessary medication.Kakashi watched as Sakura took the pills, his eyes filled with a mixture of love and concern. The reality of her condition weighed heavily on both of them, but they had developed a routine to navigate through the challenges.

As Sakura swallowed the medicine, Kakashi gently brushed a strand of hair away from her face. "You know that I love you, right?"

Sakura nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "I do, Kakashi. And I love you too, more than words can express."

Kakashi leaned in, pressing a tender kiss on Sakura's forehead. "No matter what challenges we face, no matter how tough it gets, my love for you only grows stronger. We'll find a way through this, together."

Sakura's eyes glistened with gratitude, and she held onto Kakashi's hand, feeling the warmth of his touch even though she couldn't physically sense it. "Thank you, Kakashi."

As Sakura settled back into bed, Kakashi tucked her in, ensuring she was comfortable. He sat by her side, his hand resting on hers, despite knowing she couldn't feel it. It was a silent gesture of comfort, a way to stay connected in the absence of physical sensations.

"Sakura," he murmured, "how are you tonight? Anything out of ordinary?" he asked.

Sakura looked at Kakashi with a serene expression. "No, Kakashi, everything is as usual." She reassured him. "How about you?"

"I'm alright." Kakashi said. "I'm just happy to see your eyes."

Sakura smiled and raised her hand to cup his cheek. The usual warmth that accompanied the gesture was lost in her unfeeling palm, but the way Kakashi closed his eyes on the contact made her sure that he can feel it and their connection is still there. That he can feel how much she love him in just one touch, even if she can't feel it.

She didn't know what made her do it, but she pressed her body closer to his, every action a conscious act. Then she pressed her lips against his as she grinded her lips against his. She wants to do something that used to be so fulfilling and pleasurable for them.

She saw Kakashi held her hand to stop her, he looked into her eyes. "We don't have to do it." he whispered.

"I know we don't have to," Sakura whispered, her voice soft and filled with vulnerability. "But I want to, Kakashi. I want to feel as close to you as I can, even if it's just for a moment."

Kakashi hesitated, his gaze searching hers for any sign of hesitation or discomfort. He understood the significance of the act, the desire to reclaim a sense of normalcy and connection despite the challenges they faced.

"If you're sure," Kakashi said, his voice a gentle reassurance.

Sakura nodded, a determined look in her eyes. She wanted to feel the closeness, the connection that transcended physical sensations. Slowly, they leaned into each other, their lips meeting in a tender kiss. It wasn't about physical pleasure anymore; it was about sharing a moment of profound intimacy.

As their lips pressed together, Kakashi felt a mix of emotions. He knew Sakura couldn't feel the touch, but the emotional connection they shared remained as powerful as ever. He closed his eyes, savoring the moment, and allowing the love they had for each other to fill the void left by the absence of physical sensations.

Kakashi rolled her off on her back and keep kissing her, his hand feeling down her body, squeezed her hips lightly as his fingers took hold of her shirt. He pulled it over her head and carefully yanked her shorts and underwear. Seeing that she's already completely naked, she made work to remove him of his boxers as her lips kissed his bare chest. When she managed to take it off, Kakashi looked at her eyes. His grey ones against her green.

"I love you, Sakura." he murmured.

Sakura carefully kept track of his movements, wanting to see everything that she can't feel. When she saw him slide into her, she kept her face as neutral as possible. Trying to keep the pain and disappointment hidden as she cannot feel the sensations, she used to share with him whenever they joined and become one. But when she saw him move, and still cannot feel the pleasure that used to run up and down her spine, she whimpered.

Kakashi looked at her and was alarmed to see her crying. He immediately but gently pulled out of her. "Sakura." he cupped her face in his hands. "What's wrong? Did I do something?"

Sakura took a shaky breath, her eyes filled with tears. "No, Kakashi. You didn't do anything wrong. It's just... I can't feel anything. I can't feel the way we used to, and I miss them. I miss how sex used to feel to me. I just want to feel it again. I want to feel you inside, like we used to. But this goddamned body won't let me!"

Kakashi's heart sank as he saw the pain and frustration in Sakura's eyes. He wiped away her tears, his own eyes reflecting a mixture of empathy and sorrow.

"I'm so sorry, Sakura," he whispered. "I didn't fully understand how much this loss has affected you. I should have been more mindful."

Sakura shook her head, a small, sad smile on her lips. "It's not your fault, Kakashi. It's just another thing I have to come to terms with. I miss the sensations, the pleasure, but more than that, I miss feeling close to you in that way."

Kakashi kissed her forehead, holding her close. "We'll find other ways to feel close, Sakura. Our connection goes beyond physical sensations. We'll navigate through this together, just like we always have."

Sakura nodded, appreciating Kakashi's comforting words. "I know, Kakashi. It's just hard to let go of something that used to bring us so much happiness. I want to experience it again. I want to feel you again." She looked up at him. "I want things that I will never experience again."

Kakashi held Sakura even tighter, his heart aching for the depth of her longing. He knew that there were aspects of their physical relationship that could no longer be replicated, and it pained him to see Sakura grappling with that loss.

"Sakura," he murmured, his voice a soothing presence. "I wish I could give you everything you want. I wish I could make it all come back. But our love isn't defined by physical sensations alone. It's about us, about being together in every way possible. We'll find new ways to connect, new ways to experience the depth of our love."

Sakura nodded, appreciating Kakashi's understanding and support. "I know, Kakashi. It's just hard sometimes. I miss the feeling of being fully connected to you, but I also appreciate the emotional connection we still share."

Kakashi kissed her forehead, a gesture of comfort and reassurance. "We'll cherish the moments we have, Sakura. Every touch, every kiss, and every shared experience. Our love is resilient, and it will carry us through."

As they lay in each other's arms, Kakashi held Sakura with a tenderness that transcended physical sensations. They found solace in the deep emotional connection they shared, knowing that love could endure even in the face of challenges.

Time passed them by. Kakashi did everything to make sure that Sakura knows that he is by her side whatever happens. And after a while, he saw her eyes brightened again.

One night, after a long day of work - Sakura had been reinstated as his assistant - Sakura just leaned against his form, basking in his presence.

"Kakashi," she slowly called out his name while she's playing with the sleeve of his uniform. "I have something to tell you."

Kakashi looked at her, alarmed. The last time she said that he learned that his wife's sick. "What is it?" he asked carefully.

"Remember how Tsunade forced me for a check-up yesterday?" she asked.

Kakashi nodded, a concerned expression crossing his face. "Yes, I remember. She practically dragged you out of my office yesterday. Is everything okay?"

Sakura smiled, a genuine warmth in her eyes. "Yes, Kakashi. Everything's fine, I just don't know how she was able to tell. But it's just that in a few months this house is going to be in chaos."

"Chaos?" Kakashi asked, he slipped his arms around her and pulled her closer to his chest. "What do you mean? What will happen in the next few months? Are you okay?" he asked her, concern lacing his voice.

Sakura chuckled, enjoying the concern in Kakashi's voice. She took his hands on her and placed it on her stomach. "We just have to very careful especially with me having no sense of touch and my nerves are basically fried. But, in a few months, we will be up all night for this."

Kakashi's eyes widened in surprise as he felt the warmth beneath his hands. He looked down at Sakura's stomach, realizing the significance of her words. "Are you saying...?"

Sakura nodded, her smile widening. "Yes, Kakashi. We're going to have a baby."

For a moment, Kakashi was speechless, a mix of emotions rushing through him. Joy, excitement, and a tinge of anxiety. He looked into Sakura's eyes, seeing the happiness reflected in her gaze.

"A baby," Kakashi whispered, his voice filled with wonder. "Sakura, this is amazing. I can't believe it. We're going to be parents."

Sakura grinned, her eyes sparkling with joy. "Yes, Kakashi. We are. Something beautiful during this hard times right?"

Tears welled up in Kakashi's eyes as he pulled Sakura into a tight embrace. "This is more than beautiful, Sakura. It's a miracle. I never thought I could be this happy." He pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead, savoring the moment.

Sakura laughed, a sound filled with happiness. "I thought you might be worried, considering my condition and all."

Kakashi shook his head, his hands still resting on her stomach. "Worried, yes, but this is a blessing. Our little miracle. We'll take all the necessary precautions, and I'll be here for you every step of the way."

Sakura nodded, feeling a sense of completeness in Kakashi's embrace. "I knew you'd be happy. And I couldn't be happier to share this journey with you, Kakashi."

They stayed there, wrapped in each other's arms, the anticipation of becoming parents filling their hearts with joy. The challenges they had faced only made this moment more precious, and they were ready to embrace the new chapter of their lives together.
