At the stroke of nine, young faces, aglow with anticipation, scraped their porridge bowls clean, their eyes fixed on the door, awaiting the arrival of Sirius. "He's really too generous to come and fetch you all. Remember the vault number, and Ginny, bring back some Anti-pixie potions, won't you?" Mrs. Weasley's voice echoed through the room, her eyes glued to the window.

Suddenly, the fireplace roared to life, a torrent of emerald flames dancing wildly, casting an eerie glow on the figure of a man with flowing ebony locks and broad shoulders. "Ah, Molly, my dear, may I impose?" Sirius's voice rang out, politely asking for permission to enter.

"Sirius! And here I was, expecting a knock at the door!" Mrs. Weasley's laughter filled the room, warm and comforting as she approached the hearth. With a swift flick of her wand, she opened the Floo network, allowing Sirius to step through. As always, his appearance was the epitome of elegance; a lengthy velvet trench coat, a polished pocket watch, gleaming leather loafers and a friendly smile tucked beneath his moustache. "How are you, Molly?" His arms opened wide in a welcoming embrace, treating her with the respect and affection one would show a beloved elder sister. "Ready , everyone?" His eyes twinkled mischievously as everyone flocked around him, drawn to the warmth of the fireplace.

"Stay close, don't let him out of your sight! Sirius, watch Bella, or Severus will have our hides!" Mrs. Weasley's voice echoed as they disappeared into the flames, Sirius's voice resonating through the crackling fire, "Diagon Alley!"

Diagon Alley, a bustling hub of witches and wizards from all corners of Britain, in search of magical supplies. Among them, Sirius Black, a figure of respect and admiration, his presence eliciting greetings from sellers and wizards alike, and adoring glances from the witches he passed. Bella watched as Hermione and Ginny chatted with Sirius, a pang of envy stirring within her at their easy rapport. She yearned for the confidence to engage in conversation, to be noticed not just by Sirius, but by everyone. Yet, she remained a silent observer, believing her actions and words would be perceived as foolish.

"Is it true, Sirius? You've accepted a position at the Ministry of Magic?" Ron's voice carried over the hum of the crowd, his mouth full of ice cream as they ambled towards Flourish & Blotts.

"Indeed, it is," Sirius nodded, "But I've had to delay my duties due to my travel plans, and I have some financial matters to discuss with my dear, old cousins." His voice grew solemn at the mention of his deranged cousin, Bellatrix Lestrange.

...

After an hour of waiting at Flourish & Blotts, Sirius and Bella found themselves standing at the door, Bella having finished her book search earlier. Harry and Ron were engrossed in the sports books section, Hermione was naturally glued to the bookshelves, and Ginny was sticking close to Harry.

"Bella, shall we wait for them at Rosa Lee's?" Sirius suggested with a warm smile, and Bella eagerly agreed, following him. Sirius, ever the gentleman, used his wand to enchant Bella's carriage, sparing her from the burden of carrying her numerous purchases.

Rosa Lee's tearoom was a cozy and inviting haven. As Sirius entered, all eyes turned towards him, and Bella felt a surge of gratitude for being in the company of such a famous individual.

"What are your plans after Hogwarts, Bella?" Sirius asked, breaking the silence and starting a conversation. "I want to get to know you better, just as I know Ginny and Hermione," he added with a warm smile.

Bella casually mentioned, "I've actually been thinking of getting a haircut," as if it were the least important detail about herself.

Sirius chuckled, slightly taken aback by her nonchalant response. "That's... refreshing!" he remarked, amused by her casual attitude.

Brimming with excitement, Bella continued, "And, well, I absolutely love potions! So I treated myself to a customized potions journal from Flourish & Blotts."

"Interesting," Sirius nodded, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Do you truly love potions, or is it just the influence of the bat-filled dungeons rubbing off on you?" he playfully teased, trying to ease any tension.

"Oh, no! I genuinely enjoy it on my own accord!" Bella chuckled, her face blushing slightly. Sirius grinned and examined the books she had acquired. "Living with Severus Snape must be quite challenging. I imagine you have to be careful not to step out of line."

Bella took a thoughtful sip of her tea. "I have my own adventures," she cryptically revealed.

"Other than the one where you saved my neck?" Sirius quipped, recalling their past encounter.

"Yup," she nodded, a mysterious smile playing on her lips. "Sirius, erm, can I ask you about something rather peculiar?"

"Anything! I owe you so much, by the way. But please, do tell me," he replied, anticipation evident in his voice.

"Don't mention it," she smiled gratefully. "I was wondering what you know about investing?"

"Well, that's quite a big word for a 14-year-old, but I can certainly explain what investing is," Sirius responded. As they continued their conversation over tea, he found himself pleasantly surprised by Bella's intelligence and wit. It suddenly dawned on him that she was a Slytherin, chosen by the sorting hat for her resourcefulness. However, he couldn't help but be shocked when he discovered the substantial amount of wealth she had in her vault and how she had managed to accumulate it.

"That's quite a mischievous feat, and it's hard to believe coming from someone who is usually calm and peaceful!" Sirius laughed, astonished by her actions and finding it difficult to reconcile them with her usual demeanor.

"Can I trust you with this secret, Sirius?" she asked, a hint of vulnerability in her voice.

"Of course, you can. I promise this will remain our little secret," he assured her, his expression turning serious. Leaning closer, he added, "Wait for my owl," playfully winking at her.

The first stage of their shopping trip had gone well. After visiting the bookshop, Sirius and Bella rejoined the others and headed off to find new dress robes. Ginny, holding a Muggle magazine, insisted that Bella should follow the color theory to create a show-stopping look. They passed by the old and dusty Madam Malkin's shop and ventured deeper into Diagon Alley until they reached a funky-looking establishment.

"That sounds cool," Bella exclaimed, her eyes captivated by the vibrant and unique dresses and robes displayed in the shop's window.

The shopping excursion concluded successfully, with Bella feeling confident in her new wardrobe. Ron, however, pleaded with her to hide his new robes among her bags to prevent their mother from finding out. Harry had struck a deal with Ron, exchanging the robes for a year's supply of butterbeer.

Hermione's suggestion to have lunch at the Leaky Cauldron was met with agreement from Sirius. They planned to use Floo Powder to travel back to the Burrow.

As they settled down at a wooden table, exhaustion and hunger setting in, Bella found herself ravenous. The scent of soup from the neighboring table made Harry's stomach growl. Sirius, eager to satisfy his craving, inquired with Tom, the proprietor, about the Italian Bruschetta.

-"The Best Bruschetta in the entire country," Tom confirmed with a proud smile, the flavors tantalizing his taste buds.

-"Outstanding!" Sirius exclaimed, his eyes lighting up with delight at the news of the delectable dish.

Suddenly, a man's voice from a front table caught their attention. The man turned to face their group, his gaze sharp as he locked eyes with Sirius. It took a moment, but Sirius slowly recognized that funny-looking man with his bright red blazer. It was none other than...

-"Ezaya Freeman! You old rascal!" Sirius exclaimed, a wide grin spreading across his face as he stood up to greet his old friend.

-"How are you? I swear I jumped on the bed when they declared your innocence!" Ezaya exclaimed, his excitement palpable. However, his attention quickly shifted to Harry.

-"And that must be Harry Potter!" Ezaya's eyes widened in astonishment, his voice filled with awe.

-"Pleased to meet you," Harry stood up and shook Ezaya's hand, a hint of humility in his voice.

-"Everyone, allow me to introduce Ezaya Freeman, our family barber and professional stylist," Sirius proudly announced. He then turned to Bella and pointed at her. "By the way, we have a lady here who is eager for a haircut, Ezaya."

-"What? Umm, no, not really!" Bella stammered, her cheeks flushing as she tried to hide her face between Harry and Ginny.

-"Oh, but she absolutely is! I'm here to provide theater show services, and I insist on showcasing my talents on this young lady. After all, I won't be available until next Yule!" Ezaya declared, his eyes assessing Bella's black strands and measuring her face length with a practiced eye.

-"Say no more, Ezaya. We'll see you after lunch!" Ginny settled the matter, much to Bella's chagrin,-"I'm excited about it!" Ezaya clapped his hands with enthusiasm, bidding farewell after sharing a brotherly hug with Sirius.
