At 6pm, Vox and Charlie just got back home from picking their daughter up from Velvet and Vaggie's place.

Since all of their friends were busy today, the only demons available is Velvet, Vaggie and Vox's older sister, Alexus but she isn't in hell at the moment. She had business to deal with on regarding with guarding the Tree of Life. Vox knows that she is not into anything like...clubs and all that kind of stuff. But the others said that they were busy, he thinks by 'busy' that meant by 'busy, busy' but he couldn't read or tell so he just kept that thought to himself.

"How was your day with Auntie Velvet and Vaggie, Emika?" asked Charlie as she and Vox got out of the car and opened the right passenger side door.

"Awesome! We went almost every where with Uncle Val! Until he had to leave for work." Emika mumbled sadly at the last sentence.

Charlie unbuckled Emika from her car sit. "Aw, it's really a shame. Uncle Val missed all the fun."

Emika nodded.

As she stepped out of her sit, she held onto Charlies and Vox's hand as she jumped off the step from the car.

"Where did you go? I'm curious." Vox asked, making sure it wasn't places that he told Velvet NOT to go. Which he's pretty sure that she didn't let Vaggie know about.

"A few parks with beautiful sites, the malls, and the movies."

"Really? What did you guy watch at the movies?"

"Elemental. It's really a funny and cute movie. There are sad parts in it too but I love it! You and mama should watch it one day."

Both adults smiled and laughed, "How about we all watch it together when it comes out on stream? But since you already watched it with Auntie Velvet and Vaggie, you can't be a spoiler alert." said Vox, teasingly and meaning it.

"Aww... Okay papa but I really want to watch it again though!"

He chuckled as he got the key to open their house door to get in while Charlie ruffled their daughters head a bit with a smile and earning a giggle.

*An Hour Later*

The whole family just finished eating dinner and now they're sitting on the couch trying to find something to do next.

"Hmm, what should we do that we haven't done in a long time."

Vox shrugged and sighed, "I really don't know babe. But we need to think of something fast before I DIE of boredom."

They all laughed while still trying to figure out what to do. Emika, sitting between them, suddenly thought of something.

"Papa, mama, how about inviting my friend Blossom and her mama and papa over?"

They both thought about it and it WAS something that they haven't really done in a long while and Emika and Blossom haven't seen each other in a long while either.

"Actually, we haven't done that in a while, Vox. It's really not a bad idea."

"...Well..." Vox wasn't sure about this idea. He doesn't have anything against Brooklyn and his family. It's just that he knows how Brooklyn and himself would like to compete against each other.

"Please papa, Blossom and I will be in my room playing or watch TV."

"Um.. well-"

"Come on Vox, I'm sure that they'll be thrilled to see us again. Especially Emika." Charlie smirked as she beckoned Emika to switch places and sat next to him and lean closer to him that their faces are close. "And plus..."

When Charlie whispered something to him, low enough for only him to hear, his screen turned red with a shock look that quickly turned into a goofy smirk/smile.

"A-Alright, we'll invite them over."

"Yea!" Emika cheered.

"But remember, behave yourself, play nice and most importantly-"

"Stay in my room while adults are talking in the living room and go to sleep on time." Emika finished his sentence.

Vox smiled and stood up and picked Emika up and held her in his arms, tickling her, making her laugh loudly. Soon Charlie joined in all the fun too.

"HAHA! PAPA, MAMA! HAHAHA"

They stopped a few minutes later and they all laughed from that fun and funny experience.

"Well, I'm going to invite them." Vox walked towards a specific room at the end of the hall with Emika still in his arms. When he opened the door, inside is a symbolic pentagram on the wall. When he went inside the room, he let Charlie take Emika in her arms.

"Please be careful."

"Don't worry babe," he turned and hold her and Emika in a tight hug. "I'll be fine, I'll just be there and back before you know it. The only one that needs to be careful is Brooklyn though."

"Oh, I know," Charlie sighed as Vox let go of their hug and held her face. "When he tried to enter without your help, he got hurt. I hope that he's doing fine. The poor dear."

"I do too, but I'm sure that he's fine. Now if you excuse me my fine fair ladies," he smiled when he heard them giggling a bit. "I must leave but I'll be back shortly."

He turned and placed his hand on the pentagram and used his powers to activate it. When it lite up in a blue color, it open a portal to where Brooklyn and Zelda live, the castle in New York, Manhattan.

*A few minutes before*

Brooklyn and Zelda are outside of the castle grounds with Blossom, who was having fun flying around until she got tired and sat next to her parents thinking what else to do.

"Momma? Papa? What should we do?"

Brooklyn and Zelda looked at each other, unsure themselves on what to do next.

"Well, I'm not really sure but maybe the others are not-"

"Brooklyn," said Zelda, getting his attention. "They all went out on patrol and Xanatos, Fox and their son left too while we stayed here remember?"

"Oh... yeah I forgot hehe..." Brooklyn laughed nervously.

Blossom started to think again until she finally came up with something.

"OH! Papa! How about we visit Emika and her parents?"

Brooklyn was about to say something when Zelda interrupted him.

"I think that's an excellent idea! I've been wanting to hang out and talk with Charlie for a while and Blossom hasn't seen Emika in a long while."

"Well... I don't know Zelda. I mean, what happens if the others come back while we're gone?"

"And how you and Vox are VERY competitive and sometimes you usually start it."

"ME!? But it's him too!"

"True but at least he knows when to stop which you don't know the meaning of the word."

Blossom watched her parents 'arguing' until she notices a light behind her.

"Umm, momma, papa..."

They stopped 'arguing' and saw what Blossom saw. They noticed growing until it transformed into a portal. One that they recognized immediately.

"Well, what PERFECT timing, I'm sure that they're here to ask us to visit them. RIGHT Brooklyn."

He just huffed but nodded none the less.

As they walked closer to the portal, a hand came out first, making Blossom scared a bit. Then the rest of the body came out and revealed-

"Vox! It's good to see you again!" Zelda walked up to him and took his hand and gently shook it.

"It's good to see you and this beautiful little lady too."

Vox bend down to Blossoms level to give her head a tiny and gentle a fist bump for her to fist bump him back. She blushed shyly with a smile after.

"It's good to see you Emika's papa!"

Zelda and Vox laughed as he stood up straight. He turned when he saw Brooklyn walking over to stand next to Zelda.

"Vox, how have you been?" Brooklyn asked, holding up a fist for Vox to fist bump.

"I've been doing great," Vox fist bumps back. " And yourself?"

"We've been doing great ourselves."

"They were just arguing a minute ago." whispered Blossom.

"Blossom."

She flinched a bit from her dad's tone of voice.

"Brooklyn."

Then he flinched from HER voice of tone.

Vox tried his hardest not to laugh at the scene in front of him. "I see that you got your hands full Zelda."

"Ugh, you don't know that half of it."

"Hehe, anyways , I'm here to ask if you guys want to come over to visit for a while. Emika hasn't seen Blossom in a long while and I'm sure Blossom hasn't seen Emika that long either."

"Well isn't it a small world, we were going to ask you the same thing." Zelda said with a smile.

"Really? Well it is a small world after all."

"I bet it is." Brooklyn mumbled lowly.

Unfortunately, Zelda heard him that she elbowed him in the stomach.

"I'm sorry?" asked Vox.

"Nothing, he's just agreeing with us." said Zelda, throwing a glare at Brooklyn.

"Well then, shall we?" Vox extended his hand to them for one of them to take.

At first Brooklyn didn't want to but then remembered what happened the last time with the portal. He was about to take Vox's hand when he saw Blossom taking it instead. Then she took her moms hand and Zelda took his own hand.

"Ready?"

"Yea!"

"Well, I'm ready as ever."

"Umm...same as Zelda."

Vox nodded as he re opened the portal to his home. When it was big enough, he walked through with the three of them behind. Brooklyn closed his eyes, hoping that he doesn't get hurt again.

"Umm, Brooklyn we're here."

He opened his eyes and saw everyone staring at him with concern and smiles.

"And you didn't get shocked this time." Vox smirked.

"Vox." Charlie elbowed him in the stomach.

"Ow!"

"Emika?" asked Blossom, looking around the room.

They heard little footsteps running down the stairs and in the hall and saw Emika with a wide smile.

"Blossom!"

"Emika!"

They both ran and gave each other a very tight hug. This made their parents hearts melt in an instantly. When they let go of the hug, Emika waved at Zelda and Brooklyn. "Hi Blossom's mama and papa!"

"Why hello Emika! How have you been? We miss you." said Zelda as she bend to Emika's level and gave her a hug.

"How you been you little sneak?" Brooklyn ruffled her hair a bit.

Emika smiled and shook her head to place her hair back in place as Zelda let go of her. "I've been doing great! We missed you too!"

Both families laughed.

"Emika! Lets go play in your room and watch some TV."

"Okay! Lets go!"

With that, both kids went down the hall and up the stairs to Emika's room with Vark behind them and closed the door.

"So, what's been going on at home? How's everyone?" asked Charlie as she took Zelda by her arm and linked it with hers and walked to the living room with the guys following behind.

"They're doing good. They've been wondering about you guys too."

"Oh, we've been busy with the hotel and some... royal business with my parents and all."

"Oh... that must've been tiring for you both."

"Nah, not really." said Vox as he and Brooklyn caught up with the girls. "The one you really should be feeling bad is Emika."

"Emika?" Brooklyn asked in concern.

"Yes," Charlie sighed as they finally reached the living room and sat down on one of the couches with Vox sitting next to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulders while Zelda and Brooklyn sat on the other couch across from them. "My baby... for me and Vox, staying up for a few day for us is really nothing but for Emika, being half human, she needs rest and sleep but some nights she'll stay up all night helping us."

"Woah, a very determine kid you have there Vox. You'll soon might have a mirror of you to compete with." chuckled Brooklyn.

Vox smirked, "She already is a mirror of me when it comes to our work. But on those nights we HAD to call Stolas to see if he could help with putting her to sleep."

"Oh no! Is she-"

"She's on a strict sleep schedule now." Charlie answered Zelda's unfinished question. "She complained about it for the first few days but eventually, she started to get used to it."

"Phew, thank goodness for that or else you would have one tired kid there, Vox."

"Hmph, the toughest."

They continued talking for a few minutes until they couldn't find or think of anything else to talk about.

"We've only been here for not even and hour and we don't have anything else to think or talk about." said Brooklyn in a boring face and tone.

Vox and Zelda agreed with him by nodding with a bored face.

Charlie was about to agree until she saw a pack of cards on a table next to Brooklyn and suddenly have an idea.

"Hey, how about we play a game?" asked Charlie as she stood up and walked over to the table to grab the pack of cards.

"A game?" they all asked.

"Yeah, I saw this pack of cards on this table and thought we could play for a while longer." she held the pack of cards up for the others to see.

"Uno? Well, we haven't played that in a few months since the last time we played with Emika." said Vox as he sat up straight and pulled the table closer.

"Uno! I haven't played that in a while. A few weeks ago, I played with Angela and Elisa back home when we had our girls night out. They had to teach me how it works and what the cards mean for me to finally get it."

"You played Uno? Without me?" Brooklyn asked when he and Zelda pushed the couch they sitting on up more for them to reach the table that Vox moved.

"One, yes I played Uno and two it was on girls night meaning GIRLS ONLY. So technically I haven't Played without you." explained Zelda as she sat back down with Brooklyn sitting back next to her.

"Yeah but-"

"Now wait a minute." the gargoyle couple turned to Vox as he smirked a little. "Don't tell me that you don't know how to play Brooklyn."

'AH!'

"O-Of course I do! It's just that I don't like to play alone."

Brooklyn's little outburst got everyone in surprised and confused.

"Riiight, so who's going first?" asked Vox as he shuffled the cards and passed seven cards to each of them.

"I'll go dearest, after all, I was the one who found them and suggested it." teased Charlie, making Vox smirk again a flirting way.

"By all means love, begin the game."

"Hmph," Charlie smirked back at him and turned to Brooklyn and Zelda as they have determine smiles. "May the best player win."

"You're on girl!" said Zelda

"Ready to be beaten Vox?"

"HA! You wish Brooklyn."

Three hours passed and the game is still on but with only two people still playing. Brooklyn and Vox. The girls finished an hour ago before them. A few times it took Brooklyn to finally get use to the game, like he would admit it.

"How long is this going to take?" asked Zelda as she refilled her cup with tea that Charlie made and brought for the both of them along with some cookies.

"I honestly don't know." Charlie replied before taking a sip of her tea. "But Vox can be... competitive when he's so into games like this or video games for that matter."

"Brooklyn is the same way. Not the he'll ever admit it."

The girls giggled at that.

The guys kept on putting draw two, reverse, skip, wild, and wild four cards whenever one of them has uno.

Another hour passed and the boys are still playing Uno, making the girls bored out of their minds. But the game started to get annoying to the boys, knowing that neither is gonna win this game.

"How are you getting all the good cards?" growled Brooklyn, gripping his cards tightly.

"Oh I don't know. How are you getting them?" replied Vox growling and also gripping his cards tight.

They glared at each other for a few more seconds before sighing heavily and placing their cards down.

"Want to call it a tie?" Brooklyn huffed.

Vox nodded, "Sure, we've been at it for like four hours and the girls finished two hours ago."

"Right. I'm now getting the feeling that they're saying that we're both very competitive towards each other."

"You know what, your right. Charlie says that I can be like that on games like these. Especially with video games."

"Same here."

"Ahem, aren't you boys forgetting something?"

Vox and Brooklyn jumped a bit before they stood COMPLETELY still, staring at each other with VERY concern faces. They slowly turned their heads and saw the girls with their arms crossed with annoying expressions on their beautiful faces.

"You boys complaining already?" asked Zelda as she stood up with Charlie following right behind her.

"N-No, we were just... talking?" Brooklyn said nervously with a smile.

Vox nodded and smiled nervously.

Suddenly the girls busted out laughing. Confusing the guys greatly, wondering what the heck is going on. One minute they looked annoyed and/or mad then out of the blue they started laughing.

"Umm... did we miss something here?" asked Vox.

"HAHAHA! N-No Vox! It's just t-the faces you guys made!" laughed Charlie.

"And y-your guys faces are hilarious!" Zelda added, laughing too.

Brooklyn and Vox then got annoyed.

*A few minutes later*

After the girls calmed down from laughing too much, they apologized to the guys. At first they didn't accept their apologizes until the girls apologized again but with 'puppy eyes' that made the guys hard to say no.

"Ugh, alright Zelda, I'll forgive you. BUT you owe me something!"

"Like?"

"I don't know yet." he blushed a bit. "But I'll figure something out."

Zelda just giggled as she gave him a kiss on the cheek and hugged him.

"Rrrr... Okay, fine Charlie, your apology is accepted. But you also owe me something in return princess."

"And that would be Vox?"

That made him smirk hard as he thought of something. "Well there is one thing that you could do for me."

"Really? What?"

Vox beckoned her to come closer to him. When she instantly followed his order, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her body against his as he whispered something in her ear. Only enough for her to hear. She blushed when he finished and felt him give her neck a small lick from his long tongue. Vox pulled away enough to look at her with his smirk on his face.

"Is that 'good' enough for you?"

"Y-Yes Vox."

"But we'll have to wait on that until we're ALONE."

Suddenly the two couples moment got interrupted by Varks's stomping feet coming from upstairs. When he reached the living room, he saw Vox and quickly ran towards him and gently push both Vox and Charlie towards the stairs.

"You want us to go check on the kids?" asked Charlie.

Vark nodded and mumbled as he did the same gesture to Brooklyn and Zelda.

"And you also want us to check on them too huh?" asked Brooklyn.

The hammerhead shark nodded and smiled.

"Well, we do need to go back home. The others are probably back by now and also probably wondering where we are." explained Zelda.

"True, well Vox, lead the way.

Vox and Charlie were the first to go up the stairs with Brooklyn and Zelda following behind them as Vark followed behind them last.

When they all reached Emika's door, Vox opened it quietly and opened it wide enough for all four of them to see and what they saw made them smile and made the girls saying 'awww.'

Emika and Blossom made a blanket fort and fell asleep on top of many pillows to make a bed inside the fort while watching 'The Swan Princess: The Animated Movie.'

The four adults quietly walked inside. Vox gently picked up Emika and held her close as Charlie walked over to him and gave their daughter a small kiss on top of her head as Vox took her to the bed. He laid her down and covered her as he also gave her a kiss on top of her head.

"Goodnight, my little spark. See you in the morning."

When he walked to stand next to Charlie, he watched how Brooklyn also gently picked up Blossom and held her close. Like the way he did to Emika. Zelda moved any stray hairs away from Blossom's face.

"Well, we better go." whispered Zelda.

"Of course. Follow me."

Vox allowed the gargoyle family to get out first as he turned to see Charlie sitting on her knees next to Emika and laid her head next to hers. That made him smile, remembering the same this happened in his past. But now with his own family. He looked at them for a few seconds longer before finally leaving them in peace to take Brooklyn and his family home. As they got into the room they came in before, Vox activated the pentagram again and took Brooklyn by the arm. Making sure he took Zelda's hand, he let Vox pull them through the portal.

At the castle, the portal opened to the spot were Brooklyn, Zelda, and Blossom stand the last hours ago. They jumped out of the portal, making them a bit dizzy except Vox.

"You guys alright?"

"Yes V-Vox," Zelda walked a little fun for a second before shaking her head and stand straight. "We're fine. Thanks for taking us back home."

"It's my pleasure. I hope we could do this again sometime."

"Yeah but probably next time, lets watch a movie or TV shows or something." said Brooklyn as he got out of his dizziness.

"For sure, we will. I'll see you guys next time." Vox walked away towards the portal.

"Tell Emika that we said Bye and we'll see you guys again another time."

Vox smiled before turning to face them. "I will, until then... see you guys next time."

With that he went through the portal and it disappeared. Brooklyn and Zelda waved and walked away to go put Blossom to her room in the castle.

"So, have you thought of what I should owe you?"

"Mm, well..." Brooklyn leaned next to her ear and whispered something.

Zelda gasped and blushed.

"R-Really?"

"Mhm," he smirked as he leaned back to look at her. "But when we're... alone somewhere far from here."

She blushed almost tomato red at that.

When Vox returned home, he made sure that the room with the pentagram is sealed and locked before he walked back up stairs to Emika's room. He saw his queen still there but fell asleep next to their princess. He couldn't help but smile again and shake his head a little as he went inside to pick Charlie up bridal style and gently snap his fingers to turn off the lights as he walked out the room. He had to use a cable from his body to quietly close the door a it since he has his hands full at the moment.

When he reached their bedroom, he gently laid his queen on the bed and used a spell to change her dress into a nightgown, that looked sexy of course. His older sister, Alexus, taught him this before she left to do her guardian duties. Then he just put on dark grey pajama pants and climbed into bed. Vox made sure that he covered both of them with the covers, he pulled her closer to him that she nuzzled her face against his chest and placed her hands on his shoulders as he wrap his arms around her waist.

"Mmm...Goodnight Vox. I love you." Charlie smiled with her eyes still closed.

Vox also smiled and closed his eyes. "I love you too and night too Charlie, my love."

Then finally, sleep claimed them both. Dreaming of the events that happened. Friends and family together.
