"Red eyes black dragon use firefly inferno" snickered an indigo haired boy as the hologram destroyed the last monster on the field.

"Oh no, what am I gonna do!?" Shouted the blond-haired boy as his life points dwindled.

"You're history!?" Shouted the blue-haired boy as he attacked his opponent directly with his remaining monster. Finishing off his opponent's life points.

"King Fox wins." Blared the announcer," Give him a round of applause as he moves on the next round of the duelist kingdom cup"

The crowd went wild as he chunked up the doues to the sky walking off the stage and into the locker rooms to change into his normal clothes.

The next event was underway as he walked to the stands with his friends waving to him, having saved a seat.

Sitting next to a girl named Sherry. She has hot pink colored hair with a slim green shirt draped over her torso and grey ripped jeans supporting her legs. Next to her sat a guy named Nick, wearing a studded leather jacket with dark brown hair and indigo-colored jeans. Sitting in the last seat was a scarlet haired girl named Riley, with blue ribbons tying her hair in ponytails. With a long-sleeved hazel colored shirt and skinny jeans.

"Pretty good match though I've seen you do better." Said the fiery haired girl as they stood up.

"Stop all that hating, you know darn well that I'm the best. A match against me is always a hoot." A smug look across the indigo haired boy's face.

"Pipe down you two, you both couldn't hold a candle to the legendary Devino Swade." Chimed the pink haired girl.

"Speaking of Devino, where is he? Wasn't he supposed to-" a vibration interrupted brown haired boy. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a rectangular communicator. After saying a few words into it he returned it to its resting place in his pocket. "He's waiting for us on the train."

The crew made their way out off the stadium headed for the train station. They were stopped by a guy wearing a purple mask and white silk blazer.

"Good match, is it Fox? Where you off , there's a couple more matches."

"Got places to be I'm sure I'm not missing much."

"Such arrogance, I like it when a skilled duelist has spunk. Just don't let it go to your head. Especially when we meet in the arena…" Said the guy as he made his way onto the stage as the announcer began hyping up the crowd for the next match.

"Do you know that guy or something?" Asked the scarlet haired girl.

"No clue, Riley." Said Fox as they continued to make their way to the train station looking back for a second.

Arriving at the busy station the group lied in wait for the train to make its entrance. Three train cars pulled into the station emptying its full cargo as people stepped off the rails. A boy with silver hair, green long sleeve shirt, a trucker hat and denim jeans walked up to the group.

"What took you so long, Devino? Did you take the long way back?" Asked Fox.

"Or did you get lost chasing tail?" Pipped the brown haired boy.

"Haha you could say that. A friend of mine was telling me about this place hosting high stakes duels. It's real hush hush if ya know what I mean." Replied the boy

"Then why are we still standing here? Let's grab lunch to celebrate Fox's win in the tournament and moving on to the semi finals." Shouted the pink haired girl.

"You're right Sherry this place is a bit crowded for the deets." Said Devino

The crew made their way to a diner on the outskirts of town named Little Red. Finding a booth toward the back of the dinner passing a few people in a hurry to leave as they made their way into the dinner.

After sitting and ordering drinks the crew showed off their duel disks and new cards. A few hours had passed before getting to the nitty gritty.

"Yo Devino, what did you want to tell us about at the station?" said the brown haired boy

"Oh yeah, there is an Egyptian God card on the market at the moment." Replied Devino before taking a sip of his drink

The rest sat in awe

"Well tell us more about it." The crew said in unison.

Devino reeled back before leaning in close and so did the others.

"Its only for the winner of the Cript duel arena. People have lost their decks in the Cript. It's very dangerous. You have to collect 20 gems that you only get by winning at special locations all over town."

"How do we enter?" Asked the brown haired boy.

"Willow you need a couple more cards to spice up your deck before you should enter. Though you have to get a glove from the Curator.,,,,"
