Summary: Heading back to Bag End was not an easy task/One moment, Frodo Baggins had reached the stone steps/The next, he found himself in a train carriage/Onboard the Hogwarts Express/There, he met Romilda Vane/A plot was found in her intentions. A free-verse poem, and a rough idea, for how Frodo Baggins and Romilda Vane's relationship would work out in my fanfic, Frodo & Romilda. Written in 2011. Repost.

This poem was meant to figure out how Frodo Baggins and Romilda Vane's relationship would work out. I can't be sure if this is how the actual plot will play out in the story, so don't be alarmed if this isn't the way you read the story, and then this poem; it's just an experiment on the story's plot. It's a free verse, which means there are no set rules as to how I should write this poem. Feel free to read and review this poem and let me know how I should improve on the poem, as well as what you liked and didn't like.

Heading back to Bag End was not an easy task
One moment, Frodo Baggins had reached the stone steps
The next, he found himself in a train carriage
Onboard the Hogwarts Express

There, he met Romilda Vane
A plot was found in her intentions
To get closer to Harry Potter
And to use Frodo in the process

At first, Frodo and Romilda were not on good terms
Frodo having learned he appeared as one of the Big Folk
Yet despite this problem, a hobbit he reacted
While Romilda watched him scornfully from her compartment door

Sunset dimmed the horizon
As the Hogwarts Express arrived
At Hogsmeade Station
Welcoming students to a new term

Frodo joined the many students in the Great Hall
Where the Headmaster spoke bluntly
Over new security matters
While Death Eaters flew towards the school

Many students were alarmed
Frodo didn't understand this madness:
Death Eaters, witches, and wizards doing battle
He was far too concerned with returning home

The first week passed
Frodo met with Harry
To speak with Dumbledore
They were soon followed by Romilda

Frodo and Romilda had spoken
Throughout the first week
Now Frodo was fed up with her
Romilda was not prepared to leave

The two argued for the next few weeks
It was clear this battle was not over
Romilda proved her vain and selfish nature
Frodo proved to be kind and selfless

As Christmas Break drew closer
Romilda's affections towards Frodo grew
Frodo didn't see this, he only knew
Romilda as a snobbish teenager

Before Christmas settled over Hogwarts
Would Romilda admit how she felt to Frodo?
Would Frodo ever notice her affections towards him?
Or would they return to their lives, unsure what to expect?

Thanks for reading. :)
