Journey to Mystic Falls
Disclaimer: I do not own Buffy The Vampire Slayer or The Vampire Diaries. This fanfic is based off the show Buffy The Vampire Slayer, not the comics. This fanfic is also based off of The Vampire Diaries, the show, not the books. I do not own any of these characters.
I have been reading a few fanfics of Buffy and The Vampire Diaries and wanted to try this one out. I wanted to try something a little different and to see what happens to Buffy if she ever went to Mystic Falls.
This takes place after they defeat the Hellmouth in Sunnydale, right when the show ends. I am winging it, so please be patient. In The Vampire Diaries, this takes place during the first season.
Some of these scenes are directly from the show with a twist since I added Buffy The Vampire Slayer. Also, please let me know what you think! Any advice is welcome!
Chapter One: More Vampires
Buffy Summers went to Mystic Falls.
After defeating the Hellmouth of Sunnydale, she needed a break.
She found a quaint town in Virginia called Mystic Falls. Buffy was going there to rest and recharge. Giles, Faith, Dawn, Xander, Andrew, Principal Wood, and the other Slayers were on their way to Cleveland. She was going to join them in a few months. She found a little bed and breakfast to stay at. Buffy checked into the room and made herself comfortable.
She unpacked her suitcase and placed her clothes into the dresser that was available. Giles had decided that she needed to recenter herself before going to Cleveland. Some alone time was necessary. Buffy was famished. She looked at the time and decided that it was time to eat. Before leaving, she opened her weapons bag. Buffy pulled out a stake and a knife.
You never know when you're going to need a weapon, Buffy thought.
Buffy walked around town until she found a little place called, The Mystic Grill.
Buffy walked inside and saw many people. The grill itself was kind of small, but there was a bar too. She found an empty table and sat down. There were some customers, but not too many. A tall waitress with dirty blonde hair walked up to her and said,
"Hi I'm Vicki, I can take your order now."
Buffy looked at her and noticed the bandage on her neck. She cleared her throat. "Yes, hi," Buffy said. "I'll take a cheeseburger and fries with a coke please."
"You got it." Vicki said and walked away.
Buffy wondered what happened to the girl. Why was there a bandage on her neck? She thought. She wanted to ask what happened but she didn't want to be rude. Then, there was a tingling sensation. Buffy sensed trouble. She waited by herself and Vicki returned with a drink.
"Here you go." Vicki said and placed the drink in front of her.
After sensing trouble, Buffy decided that she was going to ask the waitress what happened anyways. She took a sip of her soda and asked,
"Hey, can I ask you something?"
"It's about the bandage on my neck, isn't it?" Vicki snapped.
Buffy nodded. "What happened?"
"I was attacked by an animal." Vicki said flatly.
"Oh." Buffy said. "I'm sorry."
"I'll be right back with your food." Vicki told her.
Buffy saw a bunch of kids playing pool. As she sat there, she noticed someone. He was handsome with green eyes and wild hair. The guy was also extremely pale. He was next to a skinny girl with long brown hair and tan skin. She sensed something about the guy. Then it hit her. He was a vampire. Buffy rolled her eyes and he glanced at her. Buffy immediately looked down at the table. Vicki came back with her food and set it down in front of her.
Finally, she thought. Something to eat. Buffy ate her cheeseburger in silence and the pale guy kept looking at her. She wanted to attack him, but the grill was too crowded. What if he was the vampire that attacked that girl? Buffy wondered. She ate her fries next and tried to look away. She was drawn to him. Buffy finished her food and paid the bill. She was about to leave when she saw the kids get together. They seemed anxious.
"Has anyone seen Vicki?" a dark haired kid asked.
The kid was younger than the rest of them. Buffy listened in on the conversation. Vicki? Wasn't that her server? There was a blonde-haired guy with blue eyes and he was with another guy at the table and the tan skinned girl was there. There was a blonde-haired girl with blue eyes. Buffy walked over to the group and the vampire just stared at her.
"Hi I'm sorry to interrupt, but I overheard you guys looking for Vicki?" Buffy asked. "She was my waitress. I just saw her."
"Hey I'm Jeremy," he said and held out his hand. "You just saw her?"
"Buffy," she said and shook his hand. "Yeah I swear I just saw her at the bar."
"She's not there." Jeremy said. "I checked."
"You're her stalker." The dark-haired guy said to Jeremy. Buffy rolled her eyes.
"I can't find her." Jeremy said.
"Buffy, I'm Matt." The blonde-haired one said. "Thanks for your help. This is Tyler, Caroline, Elena, and Stefan." He looked at the table. "How about all of you shut up and help me find my sister?"
The group split up. The vampire followed Buffy out of the grill and stood in front of her. He blocked her way. Matt introduced him as Stefan.
"Excuse me." Buffy said.
"Who are you?" The vampire asked.
"Who are you?" Buffy asked.
"You said your name was Buffy," Stefan told her. "Buffy who?"
Buffy sighed heavily. "We should be looking for that girl."
"We'll find her in a moment," Stefan said. "I know you know what I am. I want to know what you are."
"I'm Buffy Summers, The Vampire Slayer." Buffy told him. "Now get out of my way or I'll dust you."
"I'm stronger than you so that's not going to happen." Stefan said and held out his hand. "I'm Stefan. I think we can work together."
"I don't work with vampires." Buffy said and ignored his hand.
"You've never worked with vampires?" Stefan asked.
Buffy sighed. "That's none of your business."
"So you have." Stefan said. "You can work with me."
Suddenly in the background, Stefan heard something. It sounded like a girl that was in trouble. He was hearing it from above. He looked at Buffy and said,
"Come with me."
Buffy shook her head. "I'm not working with you."
"I think I know where she is and I could use your help." Stefan said.
"Fine, but only for the girl." Buffy said and followed him.
"Follow me." Stefan said.
Stefan thought that she could scare Damon into leaving. She was a powerful vampire slayer. Perhaps with her on his side, Stefan could get rid of Damon. He didn't want his brother dead, but he wanted his brother gone. There was no way that he was going to let the past repeat itself. He wanted Elena safe.
Buffy followed Stefan. She wasn't sure why she was going with him. He was a vampire. However, he knew something. Buffy watched him walk to another building. She looked up and there Vicki was. She was on the roof with someone else…Buffy sensed it was another vampire. Stefan held out his hand.
"We can get up there." Stefan told her. "But you have to hold onto me."
"I don't like this plan, but fine." Buffy said and held his hand.
Stefan used all his strength and brought them up to the roof. The other vampire put his hand over Vicki's mouth to keep her quiet.
"Not bad, have you been eating bunnies?" The other vampire asked and then looked at Buffy. "Who are you?"
The other vampire was handsome just like Stefan. He had dark hair and blue eyes.
"She's The Vampire Slayer, Damon." Stefan said and pointed at Vicki. "Let her go."
Damon looked at both of them and rolled his eyes. "Are you sure?" He asked and almost dropped Vicki.
"No!" Vicki screamed and Damon held onto her.
"Just kidding." Damon said with a smile.
Buffy watched in disgust and pulled out her stake. Damon chuckled at the stake.
"Come to finally kill me brother?" Damon asked.
Author's Notes: "Not bad, have you been eating bunnies?" Damon
"You're her stalker." Tyler
"How about all of you shut up and help me find my sister." Matt

This is an idea that I got right after watching both shows. I wanted to see what would happen if Buffy was in the equation. All reviews are welcome!
