Muska and his group were gathered around his car, excited to show off the latest upgrade. Muska pressed a button on his remote and the car suddenly transformed into a towering robot. The group gasped in amazement as the robot car stood before them, its sleek metallic body shining in the sunlight.
'Check it out, guys! My car can now transform into a robot at the push of a button!' Muska exclaimed with pride.
As the group marveled at the transformation, Muska opened the car door and the song 'Anacron - A Prototype' began to play from the car's speakers. The bass was so loud that it could be felt in their chests.
'It's louder than a concert in here! And I also have proof seats and seven screens for my DVD player!' Muska boasted.
Just then, Muska's phone rang and the music stopped. He answered the call and a voice on the other end said, 'Muska, chilli chilli. Where are you? San Francisco?'
Muska's face lit up with excitement as he replied, 'Yes, I'm in San Francisco! And I'm about to show off my new ride to my friends!'
While Muska was on the phone, Yuya and Dan were talking about him.
'See, that's how you hook it up. Pump on his new rails, he's traveled the world, living as the King!' Yuya said, admiringly.
Dan nodded in agreement, 'Yeah, Muska is always one step ahead of everyone. He's like a real-life Iron Man!'
Meanwhile, Muska was still on the phone, arranging to meet up with his friend in San Francisco. He hung up and turned to his group with an excited grin.
'Guys, we're going to San Francisco! My friend has organized a street race and he wants me to take part in it!' Muska exclaimed.
Later on, Dan Kuso couldn't believe his luck. He had just met one of his biggest idols - Chad Muska, the legendary skateboarder. Muska was in town for a demo event at Paradise City and Dan had managed to catch him for a quick chat.
'Wow - Muska in Paradise City, Unreal... I Wonder if anyone could impress him?!' Joey, a local skater, said as he watched Muska skate.
'I know right? I can't believe I actually got to talk to him,' Dan replied, still in shock.
Just then, Muska approached Dan's car where he was standing. Dan's heart started racing, he couldn't believe Muska was actually coming to talk to him.
'Hey What's up man, How does sick you line about back there?' Muska asked, referring to Dan's skate tricks.
'Whoa, Chad Muska, I am a huge fan!' Dan exclaimed, trying to contain his excitement.
Muska looked at Dan's skateboard deck, which looked very old and worn out.
'Hey, Got your pretty ride you rollin,' Muska commented.
Dan's face flushed with embarrassment. 'Yeah, but I'm pretty broke. I have to make it last,' he admitted.
'I heard you man, Back in Vegas, I had no money and no place to stay. It was my first shot to get hooked up. So I had to head down to the shop, check out our riders and try to get hooked up,' Muska shared, understanding Dan's situation.
Muska then grabbed Dan's skateboard deck and handed him a new one.
'And yo, Merry Christmas,' Muska said with a smile.
Dan couldn't believe it. He had just received a new skateboard deck from his idol.
'Thanks!' Dan said, his face beaming with gratitude.
Muska then had to leave for San Francisco for his next event, leaving Dan alone with his thoughts. He couldn't believe how lucky he was to have met Muska and received a new skateboard deck from him.
Yuya and Friends walked to Dan, and everyone was exhausted but happy.
'Way to go, Dan!' Yuya exclaimed, patting his friend on the back. 'I feel like you could be a skater with the way you skate with Muska!'
Dan blushed at the compliment and scratched the back of her head with a smile. 'Y-you really think so, Yuya?'
'Yeah!' Yuya grinned. 'You were great out there! You kept that smile on your face as much as you could, and that's something that all skaters should have; you were practically a natural!'
'Ehehehehe...' Dan giggled, feeling proud of herself.
'Don't look now, but I think it's getting late...' Zuzu interrupted, pointing to the sky.
Everyone looked up and noticed that the sun was in the middle of setting, casting a beautiful orange glow across the park. A collective sigh escaped their lips.
'I guess time really does fly by when you're having fun,' Runo remarked.
'In that case, you kids should all go home,' Skip, the park manager, chimed in.
'B-but we can't go home!' Dan exclaimed, panicking. 'We- ...'
'You can't go back home?' Yuya asked, confused. 'Seriously, where did you guys come from? If you just tell us, I'm sure we'll understand...'
'... All right, I'll tell ya,' Runo said, hesitantly. 'But... you guys probably won't believe what I have to say. So...'
Runo proceeded to tell Yuya and his friends about how Dan and her friends came from another world, and how they possessed the power of Bakugan. As expected, Yuya and his friends were stunned and skeptical.
'You all... came from another world? The power of Bakugan? Goodness, no wonder you guys said that we wouldn't believe you...' Yuya said, shaking his head in disbelief.
'Yeah... it's just so difficult to take in,' Zuzu added.
'Though, that would explain how they didn't know anything about Duel Monsters before they came to us,' Gong, another one of Yuya's friends, chimed in.
'I guess...' Yuya shrugged, still trying to process the information.
The group fell into a deep discussion about where Dan and her friends would live now that they couldn't go back home. But then, Yuya suggested something unexpected.
'Well... maybe one of you can stay with me at my place,' Yuya said, looking at Dan and her friends.
'Huh? But what about the rest of us?' Marucho, one of Dan's friends, asked.
'Hmm...' Zuzu pondered.
'...' Gong remained silent, lost in thought.
Skip smiled and said, 'You know, I could take the rest of you with me and Zuzu back to our place. It'll be kind of rough, but I think I can manage taking care of four kids.'
'Great!' exclaimed Runo, excitedly.
'But...who's gonna be the one that will stay with Yuya?' Dan asked, glancing at the youngest member of the group.
'Well, I don't know about you, but I don't want any of the girls to stay with Yuya,' Zuzu said with a sly smile.
'Huh? Why, Zuzu?' Runo asked, curiosity evident in her voice.
'Just don't, okay,' Zuzu replied, her tone serious.
Zuzu glared at the other girls, then gave Yuya a look that basically said: 'I'm watching you'. Of course, Yuya didn't know what that was all about, but Dan Kuso did and he spoke up again.
'Well, looks like I'll be the one who's gonna bunk with Yuya,' Dan said with a smile.
'Good. I'm glad that you at least understand what I meant by that, Dan,' Zuzu said, relieved.
'Of course! And don't worry, I won't let him get into trouble. You can count on me,' Dan replied confidently.
'Thanks,' Zuzu said with a smile.
With that settled, Skip said, 'Well, with that settled: Girls, come with me!'
'O-okay!' Runo and Julie replied in unison.
Skip left with the girls and now, the only five people that were still around the skate field were Dan Kuso, Marucho, Shun, Yuya, and Gong. But of course, this wouldn't be the case for long.
'Well, see you. Gong has to go home, too. Come on Marucho and Shun' Gong said. Gong began marching his way out of skatepark with Marucho and Shun, leaving Yuya and Dan.
'Let's go back to my place, Dan. My mom needs to be filled in on what's going on.' Yuya said.
'Lead the way, Yuya.' Dan said.
Yuya and Dan left the school, with Yuya leading the way to his house. It was a small, cozy house with a well-tended front yard and a white picket fence. Dan couldn't help but admire the peacefulness of it all.
As they entered the house, Yuya's mother, Yoko, greeted them with a warm smile. Yoko was a kind, gentle woman with short, silver hair and bright blue eyes. She immediately offered them refreshments and invited them to sit in the living room.
Yuya and Dan sat on the couch, while Yoko sat on a chair across from them.
'So, what brings you two here?' Yoko asked, sipping on her tea.
Yuya took a deep breath before answering. 'Mom, we have something important to tell you. You see, Zuzu and I made some new friends today and-'
Yoko interrupted, her motherly instincts kicking in. 'Oh my goodness, are they in trouble? Did something happen at school?'
Yuya shook his head. 'No, Mom. They're not in trouble. In fact, they're really nice. But they don't have a place to stay, so we offered to let them stay with us for a while.'
Yoko's eyes widened in surprise. 'Oh my, that's so kind of you. But are you sure? I don't want to cause any inconvenience for you.'
Dan spoke up, 'Don't worry, We really appreciate your hospitality, but we don't want to impose. We can find another place to stay if it's too much trouble.'
Yoko smiled warmly at Dan. 'Nonsense, dear. It's no trouble at all. I'm more than happy to have you all here.'
Yuya grinned as he introduced Dan to his mother. 'This is Dan Kuso, Mom. He's one of our new friends.'
Yoko nodded, 'It's nice to meet you, Dan. My name is Yoko and I am Yuya's mother.'
Dan smiled back, 'It's nice to meet you too, Yoko. This place looks nice… who runs it?'
Yuya looked a little nervous. 'Th-that would be Mom.'
Dan chuckled, 'Wow, you're a supermom, Yoko.'
Yoko blushed, 'Oh, you're too kind. But really, I just do what any mother would do for her children.'
As they chatted, Yoko showed Dan around the house. They soon discovered they shared a love for gardening and spent the afternoon tending to Yoko's beautiful garden.
As Dan settled into the sleeping bag, he couldn't help but wonder about the kind woman he had just met. Yoko seemed like a warm and caring mother, and it made him feel a little uneasy knowing that he was intruding on her home.
'Everything okay there, Dan?' Yuya asked, pulling the covers up to his chin.
'Yeah, I'm good. Just thinking about how nice your mom is,' Dan replied, trying his best to hide his discomfort.
Yuya chuckled. 'She's the best. She always takes care of me and my sister, Zuzu. She's the reason I can duel so well.'
'That's really sweet,' Dan said, genuinely touched by Yuya's words.
The two boys lay in silence for a while, the only sound coming from the soft whir of the fan in the corner of the room. Dan couldn't stop his mind from racing, though. He couldn't shake off the nagging feeling that he was imposing on Yuya's family.
But just as he was about to speak up, Yuya spoke first.
'Hey Dan, can I ask you something?'
'Sure, what is it?' Dan replied, propping himself up on his elbows.
'Zuzu and I were thinking of making a team for the upcoming Dueling Championship. Would you be interested in joining us?' Yuya asked, his eyes shining with excitement.
Dan couldn't believe his ears. He had always wanted to compete in the Championship, but he never thought he would get the chance. And now, here it was, knocking on his door.
'I...I'd love to. Thank you, Yuya,' Dan said, a wide smile spreading across his face.
'Awesome! It's going to be so much fun,' Yuya exclaimed, bouncing on his bed.
As the two boys chatted about their favorite dueling strategies, Dan couldn't help but feel at ease. He had found a new friend in Yuya and felt fortunate to have been taken in by his kind family.
Eventually, the boys drifted off to sleep, their duel disks and decks safely stowed away. And from that night on, Dan knew that he had not only found a new place to stay, but a new home with Yuya, Zuzu, and their loving mother, Yoko. The bonds of friendship and family had been formed, and nothing would ever separate them.
