The Vale Council gathered as a transport ship departed from The Bucephalus and landed on the town hall. The transport doors opened, and the first out was a squad of five ten-feet tall suits of blue and gold armor. They had shields as tall as they were, emblazoned with a full skeleton riddled with wax seals, and in one hand was a rifle most needed both hands to wield.

Leading them was a man just barely a foot shorter than the others, he had short hair and four metal plates no bigger than dimes in his forehead just above his right eye. His hand rested on the hilt of his chainsword as he looked around the landing zone.

"All clear." He radioed.

One last suit of power armor stepped out of the transport. This man was significantly older as all the color had left his hair. His armor also sported a white cloak at his waist, and several golden augments to his reactor pack and pauldrons. Most noticeably however, his left eye and part of his face were replaced with a large targeting camera.

"Expecting trouble, Captain Titus?" the man asked as they proceeded down a long hallway to the council's chambers.

"Of course, Lord Calgar." Captain Titus walked along-side his chapter master. "I see you are as well." He gestured to two massive power fists with mounted bolt rifles aptly named: The Gauntlets of Ultramar.

"Everyone knows Vale's cooperation with Atlas and the Traitors." Calgar explained, "There's no shortage of bad blood between us, I wouldn't be surprised if anybody wanted some payback."

"You don't really think they'd try something here, do you?" Captain Titus asked once they reached the door, he cracked the door just a smidge to see the councilmen talking amongst themselves.

"Kill a Chapter Master in the heart of their city?" Calgar asked, "I wouldn't put it past them. They like to play up our actions during the rebellions, but they have their share of dishonorable blood on their hands." Calgar slid his helmet on and locked it into place, "I won't take any chances."

"Then neither will I." Captain Titus said putting on his own.

The group of them entered the council's chambers and the clamoring ceased. Calgar walked to the podium in the middle of the room and cleared his throat, "The grimm hit without warning. Mountain Glenn is a haunting reminder of that fateful day all those years ago. A few of us remained behind to defend, to keep what was left of it free, or die trying…"

One councilman coughed, "Interesting opening Mr…?"

"Calgar." he nodded, "Chapter Master Marneus Calgar."

"Ah yes, one of the families from Atlas, yes? If memory serves your family defected and sided against Atlas, correct?"

"After Atlas Command murdered my father, and mother, and sister too. If I may councilman, what is the point of this?"

"I feel like I should be asking you that Mr. Calgar, why are you here with your walking tanks?"

"Expansion." That answer was met with calamity as every councilman and woman started talking over one another.

The head of the committee started banging his gavel to silence the crowd, "Define expansion."

"Let's not forget the incident in Menagerie, the one that almost started a second rebellion." A councilwoman added.

"We've been disciplining our soldiers ever since the incident councilwoman." Calgar addressed, "To answer your previous question, we'd like Mountain Glenn."

The council members began talking amongst themselves when Captain Titus took the podium, "Greetings councilmen and women, I am Captain Titus of The XIII Legion of the Imperium. My grandfather had a saying: "Peace means having a bigger stick than the other guy." My grandfather fought in the Great War, he spearheaded more attacks than I can list, Imperium blood was spilt so Atlas would remain safe. The IX Legion fortified and defended Kuroyuri from a grimm attack that no doubt would've leveled the settlement. The Adeptus Mechanicus uplifted Vacuo with cutting edge medical technology and intelli-crops. We've already done so much for the other kingdoms, we only with to do the same with Vale."

"What do you propose?"

Captain Titus stepped aside for Calgar to take the podium. "We would go in, secure Moutain Glenn, and finally begin rebuilding it."

"You say that like it's so easy."

"I'm not saying the task wouldn't be difficult, it would likely take years to fully secure the city, even longer to rebuild it."

"I'm sensing strings coming along with this, Mr. Calgar."

"Just as Kuroyuri is an Imperium settlement, we ask for Mountain Glenn be treated the same."

"We'd like a moment for deliberation."

"Of course." Calgar and Titus bowed and exited the room.

"Do you think they'll go for it?" Titus asked once the doors closed.

"There are three rules to negotiation, Captain. Bring breath mints, get it in writing, and have a plan for when they screw you."

The doors opened before Titus could ask another question, they returned to the center of the room for their answer.

"We've agreed to let you take the city, with some conditions."

"Of course." Calgar nodded.

"First: any and all remains found will be sent back to Vale to be given to their next of kin. Second: Vale will not aid in the retaking of the city." Titus was glad he put his helmet on, to hide his glare he was sending the council, "Finally: Vale will not aid in the reconstruction of Mountain Glenn."

Captain Titus was about to yell when a gauntlet tapped his breastplate, "Deal. We will begin right away. We will send word back to Holy Terra and a royal officer will bring the necessary contracts."

"Bastards." Captain Titus grunted as they boarded the ship.

"Rule 3, Titus."

"You knew?"

"I had a feeling they would." Calgar removed his helm.

"What's the plan then, my lord?"

"Deploy the Ultramarines."

The Militarum was able to get a small foothold in downtown Mountain Glenn, they had found a hospital mostly intact. Upon restoring power, it was made the unofficial HQ. Captain Titus was watching guards on gurneys being rolled into the hospital. He was joined by Sergeant Sidonus, a grizzled veteran with half his face burned. He shook his head as his milky eye watched even more guards be taken in.

"It never ends." Captain Titus sighed.

"We're losing ground." A Commissar walked up to Titus, "Those guards are coming from Palmeroy Depot."

"Palmeroy?" Sidonus gasped, "Damn that's just down the road."

"Exactly, we keep getting pushed back every day."

The familiar roar of a thunderhawk's engine blasted overhead. The aircraft landed on the road in front of them and a battalion of blue suits came rushing out.

"At least we got reinforcements." Sidonus pointed at them.

"Yeah." Titus nodded, "But for how much longer?"

The Commissar sighed, "Okay, I'm headed inside, see how many of my men are still fit to serve."

"Captain Titus?" a nasally voice called out, even with the helm's speaker his voice was undoubtably that of a teenager. His armor was also a dead giveaway, it was immaculate, and bare bones at the same time. He was holding a large duffle in one hand and his bolter in the other. One foot hit the other and he accidentally dropped his rifle. "I-I'm your new trainee." He fumbled to pick up his rifle.

"Green as Caliban by the looks of it…" the Commissar watched him fumble over himself trying to grab his gun. "Time to train the rook?"

"Poor soul probably pisses grass." Titus shook his head, "Is this who we're getting now?"

"Go easy on the kid." the Commissar chuckled before going inside.

The boy set his bag down and rested his bolter with it, he marched over to Titus and Sidonus and saluted, "Private Jaune Arc, sir! Reporting for duty, sir!"

Sidonus almost burst out laughing while Titus waved his hand at Jaune, "Easy brother, no need to be so formal out here. Grab your gear and follow us, we got the first patrol."

Jaune dropped his bag off at the front of the hospital with all the other recruit bags. He grabbed his bolter and rushed after Titus and Sidonus.

They were in a nearby street across from the hospital. Jaune gulped seeing the long decrepit cars and buildings. He was briefed on Mountain Glenn's history before being sent here, but seeing the decay up close was something else.

"It's an honor to serve with you, sir!" Jaune shook his head and walked behind his superiors.

"Please, brother, Captain will suffice." Titus chuckled.

"Yes sir-! Uhhh, Captain Titus!" Jaune looked over to Sidonus, "I-It must be an honor to fight with a Rebellion Hero!"

Sidonus laughed and shook his head, "He's just Titus to me, brother. Sargent Sidonus." He extended his hand to Jaune.

"Nice to meet you, sir…uh…Sarge." Jaune nervously chuckled. "Did you see any action in the Rebellions too?"

"Brother!" Titus barked, "We can talk history later, right now focus on your training now, I don't need you winding up a beowulf's chew toy."

"R-Right!" Jaune nodded as they continued down the street.

"First-things-first, stay focused on your mission." Titus explained, "Built into your helmet is your tac-com, orders from control are automatically downloaded and are regularly updated. Its best to check your orders before the bullets fly." Captain Titus' dark red lenses on in his helmet brightened significantly, "New orders are teach: 'Private Arc The Golden Rule'."

"Oh! I know this one: do unto others as you…"

"Not out here, brother." Titus cut him off, "Golden Rule of the Ultramarines is: 'Take cover or die.' You know how to get into cover, brother?" Jaune nodded, "Demonstrate."

Jaune turned around and started mumbling to himself, "Okay, keep your head down, eyes open, check your surroundings…" Jaune crouched behind a concrete barrier and ducked his head low.

"Always keep your head down like that in a fire fight, and you'll be fine." Titus signaled him to rise; Jaune did as ordered and Sidonus forced open a locked fence. "Let's move out."

"Brother, you said your name was Arc? How do I know that name?" Sidonus asked.

"Oh!" Jaune chuckled nervously, "My great-great grandfather fought in The Great War. The Arcs have been huntsmen for generations!"

"Why would you forsake the traditions of your father and your house?" Titus turned to face Jaune.

"I didn't want to!" Jaune protested, "I begged and pleaded for my father to train me! But he never did…" Jaune looked deep into Captain Titus' lenses, "Captain, I want to help people. I…"

"That's enough, brother." Titus raised his hand, "You don't need to prove anything to me."

"Though a question does come to mind." Sidonus stepped forward, "If you truly wish to help people, why join us? Seems to me you'd be a perfect fit for the Salamanders."

Jaune shook his head, "The Ultramarines saved my life once." Titus and Sidonus stared at Jaune waiting for him to continue. "We live on a farm and one trip into town we were set upon by these bandits. They beat my father and threatened to do horrible things to my mother and sisters, but just as they made a move towards them, their leader was sawed right in half!" Jaune jumped when he said it, "I'll never forget how their blood coated his blue armor. Nor his shoulder pad. It had a skull with a red design behind it and in a banner under it reading: 'Ultra'."

"Sounds like a Lieutenant's badge," Sidonus commented, "Was he wearing a helmet?"

"Yes, it was mostly blue with a red and white stripe down the center. Like a racing stripe on cars."

"Definitely a Lieutenant." Titus confirmed.

Jaune grew more excited with their comments, "So, I decided, if my father wasn't going to train me and my grades won't get me into an academy, then I was going to fight tooth and nail to be whatever it was that saved us. My dad knew they weren't a huntsman, and they didn't look anything like Atlas soldiers. It took years of research to even find any mention of you, even longer to finally get a flight to Holy Terra to enlist."

Sidonus laughed, "What did daddy have to say about that?"

Jaune sunk in place and couldn't find the words.

Titus nodded and put a hand on his shoulder, "It's alright, brother. Let's finish our patrol."

They continued down the street in silence, Titus and Sidonus would occasionally look back to make sure Jaune was alright. Turning a corner, they found an old parking lot with more decrepit cars and trash all over the place. There were a few bottles precariously placed around the lot. Sidonus raised his rifle and shot one of the bottles.

"Not bad, I'll call that and raise you five." Titus slung his rifle over his back and drew his sidearm. He closed one eye and rapidly shot five more bottles scattered around.

Jaune didn't join in, rather he found a nearby alley blocked off by a dumpster. Taking a deep breath, he pushed the dumpster back until the rusty wheels snapped back into position and crashed against the wall. Titus and Sidonus joined him as they went down the alley. It led into the parking lot they were shooting in when an odd snarling was heard nearby.

"What the hell was that?!" Jaune gasped.

"Probably just a stray dog." Sidonus shrugged.

"No, no! it was bigger than that! It looked like a weird log with two stumpy little legs!"

Titus looked up into a nearby window and saw something watching them. "Creep!" he fired a few shots, but the creature ran away.

"That's it! That's the log thingy I just saw!" Jaune pointed at the window.

"Did you get it?" Sidonus asked aiming at the window.

"No." Titus lowered his rifle, "Looks like it got away."

"What was that?" Jaune asked.

"A Creep." Titus explained, "Little tiny grimm, alone they're practically harmless but they usually hunt in packs and a horde of them is dangerous. Alright, stay alert and use cover, the rest of them are around here somewhere."

Jaune pulled back the charging-bolt on his rifle as he followed behind Titus. Sidonus followed behind and watched their rear. Titus kicked open an old fence leading to a basketball court. The hospital's old parking garage was across the street from them.

"Somebody needs to do an ammo sweep around here." Sidonus marked some ammo boxes around the court. "I can still hear the little bastards."

"Found them." Titus pulled a cylinder from his waist; he flicked the top of it off and threw it into the parking garage. There was a brief beeping sound before an explosion rocked the entire garage.

"There's another one!" Jaune yelled before doing the same. But his bounced off the wall and landed under a car…right in front of them…

"Oh sh-!" Sidonus groaned.

"Look ou-!" Titus ducked but the car exploded.

Jaune and Sidonus were knocked flat by the explosion but luckily their armor was sturdy enough to absorb the impact and deflect the shrapnel. Titus brought Jaune to his feet and gave him a powerful shove, "Pull that shit again brother and you'll be in for some unexpected chainsword training." He then helped Sidonus to his, "You alright."

"My bell's been rung worse than that." Sidonus scoffed shaking his head.

Titus signaled them to follow him into the parking garage. Walking up the first ramp made them level with a nearby highway. Staring through a fence like barrier, they watched several outriders and ATVs weave between the abandoned cars. The roar of a thunderhawk reverberated through the garage as it flew overhead.

"More reinforcements already?" Sidonus asked.

"I didn't hear anything." Titus looked over at Jaune on the other side of the level. "Arc! What's the word?"

"All clear, Captain, just a lot of rats." Jaune reported before moving forward, "I found a ladder! Isn't that where you were shooting earlier?"

Titus and Sidonus regrouped with him, "Shortcut back to the hospital, let's head back."

The three slid down the ladder and back to the street below. They walked back to the emergency room entrance when a whoosh of air nearly knocked them over. Looking up they saw three Stormtalon gunships fly over.

"Woah!" Jaune braced himself, "Those stormtalons are in a hurry!"

"That can't be good…" Sidonus grumbled.

Before Titus could answer a siren started blaring from the hospital, "Looks like our patrol's over. Arc, head back to the drop off and wait for my call on your tac-com."

"B-But…"

"That's an order!" he roared at Jaune, "Let's move, Sargent."

Titus and Sidonus entered the emergency room's lobby. The nurses and doctors had already been evacuated. Guardsmen and Ultramarines were fanning out into the rest of the hospital.

"Captain Titus," someone radioed directly into his tac-com, "We have some visitors. They say they have some information for you, we're in the room next to you."

The light above the automatic doors turned green and the sliding doors opened. Titus and Sidonus saw the familiar flock of blue armor rush out of the room. However, they were taken aback at the sight of two different suits of armor still in the room.

The first one had a short bob of orange hair and turquoise eyes. She had a red bolter slung on her back, a power-sword in one hand, and cupping in her free hand was her helmet. On her pauldron was a sword with angelic wings.

The other woman had blood red hair and emerald eyes. She was clad in golden armor and angelic wings. Between her wings was a massive engine almost the size of her armor. Both of her arms were powerfists with mounted boltguns similar to the Gauntlets of Ultramar. One matched her golden armor, but the other was stark grey. Her pauldron had a single blooddrop with angelic wings. Her helmet however, was vastly different, it was more of an emotionless mask than a helmet.

"I know you two." Sidonus pointed, "Lord Commander Dante's daughters: Nora 'Lion's Cub' Valkyrie and Pyrrha 'Daughter of Sanguinius' Nikos. I saw your last tournament, both of you kicked the crap out of each other."

"May I ask why you are here?" Titus asked. "I don't recall requesting other legions."

"We've come with an emergency report." Pyrrha uploaded a report to Titus' tac-com. "Satellite imaging reveals Death Guard on the battlefield."

"That explains it…" Titus sighed.

"Explains what?" Nora asked.

"Come with me." Titus led them through a door leading further into the hospital.

The hospital shook again as they walked, "The Death Guard have some serious sacks to pull a stunt like this."

"I doubt it has anything to do with courage." Sidonus shook his head, "Maybe they don't realize they've been sent on a suicide mission."

Pyrrha hummed as they started climbing a set of stairs, "Maybe they're desperate?" All three of them stopped and turned to look at her when they reached the top of the stairs. "Think about it: neither Mortarion nor The Death Guard have been seen since The Hersey over one-hundred years ago. But all of a sudden, they show up now? After a century they show up now?"

"What are you getting at Pyr?" Nora asked.

"What if, something else is happening in the Grimm Lands?" Pyrrha shrugged, "Ten years ago, Kuroyuri, was attacked by a grimm nobody's ever seen before or since. Now we have reports of Death Guard? I don't know…forget it…"

"Captain?" Sidonus looked to Titus who was deep in thought.

"The Vale Council was quick to hand this city over to us…then there's this." Titus opened the door and revealed where they were.

It was the hospital's Intensive Care Unit. All the beds were full of guardsmen doubled over in pain. They were all coughing violently, and every breath made them cry. One guard began coughing until he hacked up a mouthful of black ooze.

"Black Lung." Titus explained, "I've seen it in older huntsmen, they inhaled the ashes the grimm disintegrate into, but I've never seen it on such a scale. Guardsmen leave on patrol then an hour later they have Black Lung."

"Captain!" the commissar from earlier screamed into their helmets, "We have confirmed Poxwalker presence in the hospital. I repeat: POXWALKERS ARE IN THE HOSPITAL!"

The hospital shook again, and all the lights died, "Yeah, now we have a power outage too."

"I'm on it, Captain, I'll keep you posted."

The three left the ICU and were on a balcony overlooking a small courtyard. The courtyard was filled with propane tanks and power tools for the reconstruction.

"Hold your fire." Captain Titus ordered, "We want to get as many as we can before detonating the tanks."

The double doors on the other end of the courtyard burst open and the horrific sounds could be heard even from on the balcony. The Poxwalkers shambled in, moaning and groaning, what used to make them human was long gone. Their flesh had slogged off the bone and the black ooze of the grimm had replaced it. Their exposed skeletons had mutated and grown spikes similar to an ursa's. red markings ran across their bones just like a girmm.

"Sweet Mother of Mercy…" Nora gagged.

"Believe me." Titus plucked a grenade off his belt, "Death is mercy for them."

He waited for the poxwalkers to get closer before chucking the grenade into the cart of propane tanks. He ducked behind the wall when his grenade caused a chain reaction and detonated the tanks. Sidonus and Pyrrha unleashed their bolter fire into the remaining poxwalkers. They saw more in the doorway but they screamed a horrific scream that would haunt them the rest of their lives, before scurrying off.

Titus immediately got on his tac-com, "Commissar! Where's the power?!"

"Almost there Captain…" she trailed off when a thuum was heard throughout the hospital and the lights flickered back on, "There it is! Doors are back online!"

"Thank you, Commissar, Titus out."

The four of them raced to the other side through the new opened doors to go further into the hospital. While the path they were on was uneventful, they could hear more gunshots and screams throughout the hospital. They reached the lobby and could see more Ultramarines firing at Poxwalkers below them.

"Faaaaall baaaaack!" one hissed.

"They're trying to fall back!" Titus began shooting Poxwalkers on their own floor. "Keep hitting them! Keep hitting them!" Titus could hear the commissar attempt to relay updates, but he couldn't hear her over the gunfire. Once the lobby was clear, Titus turned around, "Sidonus, you and The Dark Angel take the other side, The Blood Angel and I will take this one."

Nora wanted to protest, they had names, but now was probably not the best time. They did as commanded, and they proceeded. Titus and Pyrrha saw more poxwalkers entering the hall but then they saw a gunship fly at the windows.

"Get down!" Pyrrha tackled Titus as the gunship unleashed its arsenal.

"Gunship!" Titus screamed but couldn't yell over the noise. "Gunship!" he yelled when the barrage stopped, "Hold your fire there are civilians and soldiers in still in here!"

The gunship flew away and Pyrrha pulled Titus to his feet. Her jet pack powered up and she dashed across the hallway in case the gunship decided to come back. Titus ducked his head and ran to join her.

Pyrrha took point in the next room and had both of her arms outstretched and firing independently at two more poxwalkers in the room. She went into the next room and unloaded both her gauntlets into another poxwalker. Pyrrha used her jetpack to descend a flight of stairs back to the first floor.

She ended up in a lobby where Nora and Sidonis were on the other side of the room. She charged up her jet pack and flew right through a poxwalker before grabbing the last one in her massive gauntlet and crushing its skull.

"Primary blockade has been overrun!" the commissar radioed, "I repeat: primary blockade has been overrun!"

Pyrrha reloaded her gauntlets while Nora approached her, "Calm down, Pyr, you can't give into the thirst."

"More poxwalkers are bound to be in the streets surrounding the hospital!" Titus explained once he caught up, "Get ready."

"Time to go." Pyrrha moved with Titus to another courtyard. They gunned down more poxwalkers as they crossed before reentering the hospital.

They were going through the old operating rooms and the waiting areas. Any poxwalkers in their way was swiftly cut down by Pyrrha. She was doing less and less shooting, and more and more gauntlet play.

"Commissar here, Titus." She radioed again, "Plague Marines have been spotted taking position in the streets outside the hospital. Ultramarines and Guardsmen are requesting assistance.

"Let's move!" Titus and the rest cut through the cafeteria trying to make their way back to the front.

A poxwalker charged at them but Pyrrha responded with a swift left hook that caused his head to spin around multiple times before his body finally slumped over one of the food trays.

"HA!" Pyrrha cheered, "Did you see that?! Pox went face-first into the salad!"

"Pyrrha!" Nora yelled, "Calm down!"

A gunship crashed through the ceiling with the bodies of its crew falling through the glass. The top half of a poxwalker was crawling away from the wreckage, when Pyrrha sauntered over and crushed his head under her heel.

They were almost back out front when the power cut off again. They were in another waiting area that had already been secured, only the remains of poxwalkers were left. The emergency power kicked on and the room was now glowing red.

"I like the way pox blood glows in this light." Pyrrha commented.

"You're pretty sick, Nikos." Sidonis scoffed, "Shouldn't really expect anything less from you Baal savages."

Pyrrha snickered, "Oh yeah, blueberry? At least we're not responsible for losing an entire fucking legion to Atlas!"

"Why you insolent little!" Sidonis started but Titus cut him off.

"Enough both of you!" Titus roared, "We're almost outside, we can be civil for a little bit longer can't we?"

Pyrrha scoffed before using her gauntlets to force the locked doors open to find Jaune.

"Arc!" Titus approached, "What are you doing here?"

"A-Area I was guarding got too hot, Captain!" Jaune explained, "These other Ultramarines rounded us up to fight."

"So why aren't you out there fighting?" Titus asked.

Jaune clicked a button on his rifle and an empty magazine fell out, "Reloading Captain. S-Seeing these things makes my hands shake. Theres this big fat one leading them Captain, he's in the fountain commanding them all! Even the zombies!"

"What?" Pyrrha pushed past Titus to get to Jaune, "What'd this one look like? Did he have wings? A scythe? Did he look like a gust of wind could push him over."

"He had a scythe but none of that other stuff." Jaune explained, "Like I said, he's a really big fat guy, white helmet with single horn, and…oh god…" Jaune took his helmet off to barf, then he looked back up at Pyrrha. "Sorry, but he had babies decorating his armor…dead…decaying…babies…"

"Typhus." Pyrrha and Nora said simultaneously. "Wanna drop the hammer?"

Nora smirked unfolding a massive hammer she was carrying on her lowerback.

"Arc, with us, while they do whatever it is they're doing, we'll hold the line." Titus explained.

"Sir!" Jaune pulled the charging handle on his bolter. As soon as the doors to the outside opened, Pyrrha's jetpack exploded to life, and she carried Nora high into the sky.

Jaune, Titus, and Sidonis regrouped with their fellow Ultramarine battle brothers killing the remaining poxwalkers. But that's when a new sight decided to defile their sight. A group of green armored marines began shambling toward them. They gathered around the obese one in the fountain when a subtle boom was heard.

Diving at them with roaring speed were Pyrrha and Nora. Jaune's eyes nearly jumped out of his skull when he watched Pyrrha, let Nora go?!

She brought her hammer down right on Typhus's white helm and the resulting shockwave knocked everyone flat on their back. Pyrrha then violently landed on the chest of one of the fat marines. One started to get up but she drove her entire gauntlet through his chest. With her hand still in his chest she shot down another one before tossing the corpse onto another preventing him from getting up. Pyrrha then crushed his head under her heel before finally getting knocked out by Nora.

Jaune vomited again at the grizzly display, "T-That was excessive!"

"She can't help it." Titus sighed.

"What do you mean?" Jaune asked.

Titus glared at Sidonis to keep him quiet, "The best way I can describe it Jaune: The Blood Angels are cursed."

"Cursed?"

"Aye." Titus grimly nodded, "Deep within the psyche of every child of The Great Angel Sanguinius is a destructive yearning. A blood hunger that haunts their every waking and aches to be unleashed without restraint but must be held at bay. That is The Red Thirst…"

Off in the distance another Plague Marine was watching when his body started to convulse. It fell over thrashing and screaming before being reduced to a puddle of black goo. From the puddle a gauntlet grabbed the edge and rising from the darkness was Typhus reborn.

"Well now, this is going to be interesting."
