Transformers Prime: No Autobots Are Idiots.

Chapter 42: Convoy.

(Transformers Prime Universe #192,394,596,203,495,867,019,183, Saturday, August 28th, 2010, Dylan Darby's POV...)

It's been two weeks since we got our new recruits.

And of course, we all got along well with them.

For Skyfire, he was as tall as Skyquake and he was a good scientist the equivalent of Perceptor and Shockwave put together.

Turns out that, like Jetfire, Skyfire used to be great friends with Starscream, until Starscream and a big majority of the Energon Seekers joined Megatron at the height of the Great War and thus allowed him to seize control of Trypticon Orbital Station and manufacture more Dark Energon using the corrupted Geosynchronous Energon Bridge below Cybertron to the point where it was all too easy for Megatron to corrupt Cybertron's core.

Jetfire, Skyfire, and so many of the Aerialbots and other flying Autobots chose to join the Autobots as much needed air support.

And even the Triple Changers Broadside, Sandstorm, and Springer in the original Team Prime roster chose to become Autobots, but because of their skillsets, they were drafted into the Wreckers.

But most of all, we got the new Autobots suitable vehicle modes, and considering the fact that a portion of the new arrivals looked exactly like the robot modes of the various Autobot and Decepticon Pretenders and Headmasters, we had to use Sunbreaker's hologram manipulation ability to merge their Cybertronian forms with various design parts of various Earthly vehicles to make their new vehicle modes.

It was difficult, but it was so worth it as the Autobots who look like opposite color clones of the Autobots in Transformers Prime, Transformers War for Cybertron, and Transformers Fall of Cybertron that Nightimus Prime and the two versions of the Nightowl Trines told us about finally got suitable vehicle modes that may look like they might attract attention, but they won't.

And now, now that we're actually here on August 28th, it's time for Agent Fowler's latest call.

(Third person POV...)

In the command center, Agent Fowler calls out angrily, "Prime! PRIME!"

Optimus starts to ask, "Special Agent Fowler? To what do we owe – ?"

Agent Fowler answers, "What else? 'Cons! (In person) I chased them off with some hard ordinance, but not before they blew me out of the sky!"

Miko giggles a bit as she remarks, "Again?"

Cliffjumper remarks jokingly, "Perhaps General Bryce should stop providing Agent Fowler with aircraft considering how many times he's had his VTOL and helicopter blown up or blown out of the sky. That's millions to billions of US dollars to build, repair, maintain, and arm military aircraft."

Agent Fowler shouts before he explains, "That's not funny! They tried a smash-and-grab for the Dingus."

Elita One asks, "I'm sorry?"

Agent Fowler clarifies while showing a picture of the device in question, "Dynamic Nuclear Generation System, aka Dingus. It's a prototype nuclear energy source I'm transporting to the coast for testing."

Ratchet scoffs before asking, "That's absurd! Why would Starscream want to bother with such primitive technology?"

Agent Fowler answers before saying, "I guess to make a big, fat primitive weapon of mass destruction. If this baby were to melt down, it would irradiate this state and the four next door in every direction."

Rafael then asks, "Um, did Agent Fowler say what state he was currently in?"

Smokeedge answers, "No, but my best guess, judging by the landscape, is the state of New Mexico."

Agent Fowler then says, "(In person) I'm a sitting duck here, Prime. I need you to spin up your bridge and send the Dingus to its destination before the 'Cons come back for it."

Skyfire says in response, "Sending such a volatile device through the Space Bridge is out of the question. If there was ever an accident during its transmission, the radiation you specified could spread through the Space Bridge vortex, and harm all fifty of the United States and beyond the borders. It's simply too risky."

Agent Fowler asks, "Anyone have any better ideas?"

Thaumas answers, "I do. We transport the device to its destination with an old-fashioned convoy of both military vehicle Autobots and civilian vehicle Autobots, with Airachnid, Airsized, the Aerialbots, and some of our other fliers giving us additional air support, and we'll have Arcee, Dark Rose, and their lookalikes in the trailer to defend the Dingus in case the doors are blown open, and we'll have twenty-eight thousand and five hundred Transpobot Troopers of various civilian and military vehicle types guarding the convoy in all directions on the ground and in the air, with Dylan and Brandon inside Airachnid and Airsized to give us a loose form of an early warning system to alert us of Decepticons or – get ready for this – MECH agents."

Agent Fowler asks in shock, "MECH?!"

Miko asks, "What's MECH?"

Steelwolf answers, "A human terrorist organization opposing the United States government and working to take control of the world through any latest innovations of modern technology they can either get their hands on or make by hand, led by former U.S. Colonel Leland Bishop, codenamed Silas, ex-Special Tactics."

Optimus then says, "And considering what we were notified about this human organization, it is paramount that we avoid revealing ourselves to them unless absolutely necessary, and also considering the lines that they'll cross in this war between Autobots and Decepticons to get what they want, it is urgent that we apprehend and kill as many MECH agents as possible."

At the site of the convoy, Optimus is in vehicle mode with the others, and with his vehicle mode's primary trailer attached to the hitch with the Dingus inside.

Agent Fowler rubs his hands together giddily, and he grips Optimus' steering wheel, but Optimus says, "Ah-ah, no need, Agent Fowler. I will handle the driving."

Agent Fowler grumbles with his arms crossed, "It's gonna be a long trip."

The Autobots start their engines, helicopter rotors, and jet engines among other things before Optimus says, "Autobots, roll out!"

The Autobot convoy consisting of the primary Team Prime roster, the recent new recruits, five hundred Jet Transpobots, five hundred Helicopter Transpobots, five hundred Car, Truck, Tank, Motorcycle, Stealth Jet, Ground General, Jet General, Captain, Scorcher, Bombardier, Gunner, Autogyro, Gyrodyne, Airplane, VTOL, Tiltrotor, Ornithopter, Rotor Wing, Jumbo Jet, Airliner, Cargo Plane, Heavy Jet, Mid-Size Jet, Light Jet, Propeller Plane, Private Airplane, Turboprop Plane, High Mobility Artillery Rocket System, Recovery Vehicle, MTVR, Armored Combat Earthmover, APC, AVLB, AFV, UCV, Buffalo MPV, Combat Car, Light Tank, Medium Tank, Heavy Tank, Main Battle Tank, Armored Car, LVT, Tank Destroyer, Light Anti-Tank Gun Truck, Self-Propelled Anti-Tank Gun, Improved TOW Vehicle, Armored Vehicle-Launched Bridge Vehicle, CEV, FISTV, Self-Propelled Gun, ARV, Self-Propelled Howitzer, Multiple Launch Rocket System, Gun Motor Carriage, Multiple Gun Motor Carriage, and Howitzer Motor Carriage Transpobots which makes twenty-eight thousand and five hundred Transpobots, the two versions of the Nightowl Trines, the original Aerialbots, the Combaticons, Airachnid, Airsized, and the Protectobots all drive and fly off to their destination, with Dylan and Brandon wearing their Iron Man suits which look like Iron Man suits combined with tactical military armor and knight armor put together.

and fly down the highway before transforming to robot mode, with Optimus being first. The entire Autobot army then gets accompanied by all of their generic troops and they stand tall. In the Autobot base, Rafael activates his Techmaster armor and flies alongside Bumblebee as the scout transforms to vehicle mode before driving through the open Ground Bridge portal. Miko does the same by activating her Nitrosmine armor as Bulkhead transforms to vehicle mode before they respectively drive and fly through the portal. And finally, Jack activates his Iron Speedster suit and flies behind Arcee as she transforms to vehicle mode and drives through the portal. In a red sky battleground not too similar to Cybertron, Megatron walks forward while firing pot shots from his Fusion Cannon while Starscream transforms to his jet mode and flies forward. Starscream fires his two missiles at Optimus, but he avoids the missiles while running towards Megatron. Optimus fires a shot at Megatron, and he fires back. The two leaders rush towards each other and they punch each other in the face in unison before the title appears: Transformers Prime: No Autobots Are Idiots.)

In the Autobot base, Ratchet says as the humans, techno-organics, and remaining auxiliary Autobots gather around to be ready for assistance in case they're needed, "We're locked onto your signals and coordinates, Optimus. Barring any complications, you should be able to reach the drop off point by sunset."

With the convoy, Optimus and the others on the ground slow themselves down because barring their way and slowing their progress was an old 1950s pickup truck on its last stabilizers.

But Agent Fowler angrily and impatiently honks Optimus' truck horn repeatedly, attempting to get the driver's attention to move.

After a few seconds of no answer, Agent Fowler shouts, "Move it, Gramps!" before honking the horn some more.

Eventually, the driver moves out of the way.

Optimus then asks sternly, "Agent Fowler, is that really necessary?"

Agent Fowler replies, "Ah, don't tell me you're one of those textbook drivers."

Dylan points out, "(Filtered) Unlike you, Agent Fowler, Optimus has long since learned to obey the rules of the road regardless of how fast or how slow traffic is in country sides and cities, and to keep his emotions in check, something that a big majority of us are incapable of doing."

None of the Autobots reply in offense, knowing that it's true.

In a MECH helicopter, Silas says over the radio, "They're transporting in an unarmed civilian truck surrounded by numerous civilian and military vehicles. Send in the ground and air units."

After a while, Agent Fowler says, "You know, you're really saving my bacon here, Prime."

Optimus replies, "I'm proud to be of service."

Agent Fowler says, "Of course, it's not like we'd need your help if you and the 'Cons had stuck to tearing up your own corner of the galaxy."

Optimus questions, "Are you implying that no evil existed on your world before we arrived?"

Agent Fowler answers, "Uh, that's not what I meant, and I don't remember what I meant to say. But that doesn't necessarily mean that evil didn't exist on Earth before you guys and gals came. It was a different evil, consisting of communism, dictatorship, practicing dark magic, worshipping the Enemy of our God, and mass murder among other things."

Agent Fowler then inquires, "How about some radio? You seem like a Nashville sound kind of commander."

Just then, Airachnid says over the walkie-talkie, "(Filtered) Autobots, we have company, MECH company."

Agent Fowler sees the chopper in the rearview mirror, and he exclaims, "That's the one! The chopper that shot me down! Who does Silas think he is, opposing the United States government in the way that was just described to us half an hour ago?"

Bulkhead then says over the walkie-talkie, "(Filtered) Watch your rearviews and radars."

Suddenly, a big host of green MECH cars appears, surrounding some of the Autobots.

Bulkhead then says, "(Filtered) I'm feeling a little constricted without the use of my fists here, boss."

Optimus replies, "(Filtered) Remain in vehicular mode unless absolutely necessary."

Agent Fowler says, "A whole team of MECH agents!"

One of the MECH cars pulls up next to Optimus' driver door, the sunroof opens, and a MECH agent aims his assault rifle at Agent Fowler while saying, "Pull over!"

Agent Fowler exclaims, "Well, I'll be dipped!"

Optimus says over the commlink in the base, "(Filtered) Our intel was correct again; our assailants are indeed MECH agents, human high-tech terrorists."

Miko remarks, "Oh, please! Taking on our army? They're roadkill!"

Thaumas replies over the commlink, "(Filtered) They are indeed about to be roadkill if they constantly interfere with our war."

In the chopper, Silas says, "Gentlemen, stop their engines."

Optimus bumps into the car just as the MECH agent was about to fire an electrocution stun mine, making him miss and hit the road instead.

Smokeedge then says, "(Filtered) Autobots, maintain your cover and apply maximum force. Lethal force is authorized as of now."

And so, the Transpobot Troopers that transform into military vehicles aimed their weapons and they opened fire on the MECH agents, killing them one vehicle of passengers at a time.

One of the other cars tries to sneak next to Optimus' right so that the MECH agent could fire on Optimus' right side, but Bumblebee reverses sharply to bump the car and bang its left side to make it swerve out of control and crash into a rock, flipping the car upside down.

But then, a Tank Transpobot Trooper fires a high-explosive round at the car, blowing it up and the MECH agents with it.

In the main chopper, Silas exclaims before saying, "What the hell?! How are they demolishing our forces?! Those are not civilian or military drivers."

At a series of left and right turns, the Autobots turn ever so slightly sharp to make the turns without crashing or driving off the road.

Agent Fowler gags at the end of the turns and says, "I could use some air."

Optimus rolls down his window, and Agent Fowler puts his head out the window to breath greedy gulps of air.

But then, Agent Fowler notices another MECH car pulling up next to Optimus' trailer hitch, and a MECH agent jumps the gap before using the laser cutter in his assault rifle to attempt severing the attachments for Optimus' trailer.

Agent Fowler exclaims, "Prime, bear right!"

Optimus swerves to the right, attempting to shake off the MECH agent, but all he succeeds at doing is making the MECH car crash off the road... long enough for six sticky bombs to land on it and detonate two seconds later, taking out the car and the agent.

The MECH agent manages to regain his balance and gets back to laser cutting.

Agent Fowler exits Optimus' cab and shimmies along the path to the trailer, and then he grabs the MECH agent from behind before gunning him down, mentally thanking Dylan for his father's old service revolver.

Agent Fowler climbs back into the cab and buckles up.

Silas then says over the walkie-talkie, "(Filtered) I do hope you take better care of the Dingus than your dead captives."

Agent Fowler briefly looks at the chopper before saying, "Special Agent William Fowler here. Nice to meet you, Silas."

In the chopper, Silas replies, "I'll give you and your fellow soldiers a fair warning: we'll be helping ourselves to your device, even if it means inflicting casualties."

Dylan/Archimedes asks, "Is that right? Tell us, Silas, what do you hope to accomplish with high-tech terrorism despite knowing that the United States government doesn't negotiate with or tolerate terrorists?"

Silas asks in reply before answering the previous question, "What makes you think we don't intend to accomplish anything, soldier? There's a war brewing between the new world order and the newest. The victor will be the side armed with the latest innovative technology."

Just then, a MECH car pulls up to the doors of Optimus' trailer and a MECH agent fires sticky bullets at the doors.

Then the agent presses a button on his rifle and the sticky bombs electrify before detonating, blowing the main door open and causing the trailer to open up the rest of the doors.

Then the MECH agent gets himself ready to jump aboard.

Agent Fowler remarks, "So, Sy, you think MECH has all the most radical tech? Well, think again!"

Arcee and the other motorcycles burst out of the trailer, knocking the MECH agent into the path of an exploding fireball multiple car pileup.

On the chopper, the MECH pilot says, "Definitely not civilian or military drivers."

Agent Fowler remarks before disconnecting the hacked walkie-talkie, "Later, Sy."

Optimus then advises, "Agent Fowler, do not take this Silas lightly; Megatron preached the exact same ideology before plunging Cybertron into the Great War that rendered our home depleted of energy and devoid of life."

Just then, in the base, Ratchet says into the commlink, "Optimus, prepare to initiate phase 2. Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point."

On the Nemesis, Soundwave plays back Ratchet's transmission, "(Filtered; with Soundwave's voice) Five miles ahead to the south, you will reach the rendezvous point."

Starscream remarks before saying to the eight hundred thousand Vehicon Jets he gathered after he cloned them through the cloning machines and the Matter Duplicators, "So, the Autobots are outside the confines of their base and sound otherwise engaged. Which means... they will never see us coming. Find them, and destroy them!"

They reply in unison, "Yes, Lord Starscream."

Starscream chuckles menacingly at the idea he had.

Meanwhile, at the road leading to the train tunnel, a 2010 Electro-Motive Diesel four-axle GP Series diesel locomotive hauling a military transport train sounds its horn.

Agent Fowler remarks, "There's our destination point, and there's our train."

Optimus then says, "All Autobot Grounders, keep a tight formation."

The army of Autobot Grounders converge on the road leading to the train tunnel and they drive down to the tracks.

The MECH cars try to follow them, but two of the Tank Transpobots charge up their cannons and they blow up a part of the ceiling to the entrance, blocking the cars from entering the train tunnel.

In the tunnel, the Autobots switch on their lights.

Bumblebee switches to robot mode and climbs onto one of the boxcars before knocking on the door.

In the chopper, Silas remarks, "Tactical error – only one way out."

The Autobot Grounders appear out of the tunnel with the train, and the Autobots get back onto the road.

Airachnid then says, "Uh-oh. Autobots, we got Decepticon Fliers incoming."

Agent Fowler asks, "What'd she say, Prime?"

Optimus answers, "She said we are being intercepted by Decepticon Fliers."

Just then, the Aerialbots converge and they let loose all of their weapons, either converting the Vehicon Jets into Transpobot Jets or turning them into scrap metal.

But then, the lead Vehicon deploys four missiles and launches them at Optimus' trailer.

Dylan groans before snarling, "Ough, great. Starscream just had to interfere. If I find him, his bullet-filled head is mine!"

In the MECH chopper, Silas asks in bewilderment, "Military fired on one of their own?"

Just then, Optimus swerves hard and lets the trailer loose.

The helicopter pilot says, "Sir, the Dingus!"

The missiles destroy the trailer, but there's no sign of the Dingus exploding and letting out any radiation.

The MECH navigator says, "Sir, I'm... not reading any radiation. The Dingus didn't melt down."

Silas replies in agreement, "No... it did not."

At the end of the grassy path leading to a large cliff, the Eradicon Troopers transform to robot mode and they land, surrounding the Autobots.

Smokeedge growls as he shouts, "You just had to f(bleep!) interfere with a very delicate mission! I swear to Primus, I will f(bleep!) kill you all!"

Optimus then says, "Agent Fowler, I am afraid that if we are going to survive, it has become absolutely necessary to drop our cover."

Optimus and the Autobot army transforms to robot mode while Airachnid and Airsized transform to robot mode and web up the MECH helicopter to the ground, barring them from flying or exiting the helicopter.

Silas remarks before saying, "So, the rumors are true. Living technology stands before us. But when I get out of this, I will learn more about them!"

Smokeedge places thirty pounds of C4 on the chopper before stepping back and then pressing the detonate button, making the C4 detonate and take both Silas and his remaining personnel in the chopper with it.

Just then, a second chopper arrives, and Silas remarks over the speakers, "Did you really think it would be that easy?! Huh?!"

Smokeedge fires at the chopper but he misses until it flies out of range.

Optimus puts Agent Fowler on a rock forming up to his robotic height and says, "Archimedes, Cybermind, Agent Fowler, remain here."

Agent Fowler replies, "Will do."

Bulkhead remarks, "After a long road trip, it feels good to get out of the car, stretch my legs, and kick some tailpipe!"

The Autobots deploy their melee weapons and/or they don't deploy any of their weapons at all, and they charge towards the Eradicon Troopers.

The Eradicon Troopers charge as well, and Optimus lands the first punch.

Bulkhead hammer strikes an Eradicon with his wrecking ball.

Arcee hits an Eradicon with a jumping spinning kick before punching the drone twice.

Bumblebee fights an Eradicon the way a boxer would do.

Cliffjumper engages two Eradicons using his newly taught Kung-Fu moves, while Optimus slams an Eradicon headfirst into the ground before elbowing another that tries to sneak up on him.

In no time, Silas is watching with great fascination how the Autobots are taking down the Decepticon Fliers and winning.

The MECH navigator then starts to ask, "Sir, if the Dingus wasn't in the red and blue truck..."

Silas replies before saying into Agent Fowler's walkie-talkie, "Yes, that. Special Agent Fowler, you lead a charmed life, walking among titans and powered armor soldiers."

Agent Fowler replies, "Come on down, I'll introduce you."

Silas replies before revealing without giving away too much details, "In due good time, but at the present time, I'm a little busy wondering how the Dingus might've vanished into thin air without a trace."

The view zooms into Agent Fowler's right eye as he remembers the Autobots loading the Dingus onto the train and Optimus revealing that the train is an Autobot named Boilerrail, one of the Autobot army's additions in the past eighteen years who took up the vehicle mode of the locomotive and took up a job as NEST's primary military transport train.

The flashback ends and Silas remarks, "Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a train to catch."

Agent Fowler notices the chopper heading after the train, and he says into his walkie-talkie, "Prime! Come in!"

Optimus bashes three Eradicons with a left overhand punch, a back push kick, a right thrust punch, and a double-handed haymaker as Agent Fowler advises, "(Filtered) Silas got wise to phase 2!"

Optimus replies while taking his eyes off the Eradicons, "I understand!"

Optimus then looks too late and gets smacked in the face with the broken trunk of a broken uprooted tree used by an Eradicon as a primitive weapon.

Optimus is sent tumbling down the cliff before crashing on a lower section with a view of the train tracks.

Agent Fowler exclaims, "Prime! Do you read me?! Prime!"

Optimus groans in pain before blacking out.

Smokeedge then brings out his Lawgiver and says, "Full auto, rapid fire."

The Lawgiver answers him, "Rapid fire."

Smokeedge fires his Lawgiver's rapid fire option at the Eradicons, riddling them offline with bullet holes.

In the Autobot base, Miko exclaims, "Optimus is down!"

Jack then says, "And MECH's gonna grab the Dingus. We need to think of something fast."

Rafael asks, "You mean like a phase 3?"

June then says, "If those terrorists want the Dingus, they'd have to immobilize the crew of the train and time the landing just right."

Miko then asks, "What if we get on first and reduce their numbers with the weapons of our Iron Man suits?"

Ratchet says sternly, "Absolutely not!"

Jack replies, "Yeah, that would be suicide."

June adds, "Plus, even if they're terrorists, we're still humans bound by human laws."

Miko replies, "Hello! The ten sisters said so themselves; MECH is not gonna rest until they get what they want, and they'll cross several lines to get what they want! Plus, the United States of Meltdown! Lives are at stake!"

Ratchet points out, "Yes – yours! You want me to not only bridge you into a confined space, but one traveling at ninety miles per hour?! I can't even count the number of ways that can go wrong – mass displacement trauma, twisted limbs, metal burn...! Well, maybe not the last one. Regardless, it is nearly impossible to fix Space Bridge coordinates on a vehicle moving at that speed!"

Rafael asks, "Would it help if we had access to the train's coordinates?"

A screen shows the train's coordinates.

Ratchet remarks, "Well, when you put it that way..."

Meanwhile, in the MECH chopper, Silas then says, "Immobilize them."

A MECH trooper fires a sticky stun bomb at the train engine, and the electricity shocks not only Boilerrail, but also the NEST troops onboard the train.

On the boxcar with the Dingus, Nitrosmine and Iron Speedster emerge from a Space Bridge portal.

Iron Speedster says, "We're in, Techmaster."

Rafael replies, "(Filtered) I read you, Speedster. The smartphone-commlink patch works."

Then the twosome hears the sound of the helicopter timing its landing.

Iron Speedster looks and says, "Techmaster, MECH is landing on top of the train."

In the base, Rafael replies as he activates his armor, "In about twenty-five seconds, you're coming to a fork, so brace yourselves."

Skyquake adds, "And don't forget the backup plans for if they release a counter-virus."

Techmaster nods.

Just as the MECH chopper is about to fully land, Boilerrail comes up to the fork, and Techmaster presses a button his keyboard that causes the tracks to be switched.

Then, he uses his armor to jack out while still having access to the train's coordinates.

Boilerrail drives on the other side of the tracks, making the MECH chopper swerve off and spin a few times before regaining control.

Silas questions, "What happened?"

The navigator answers, "A hacker."

He presses a button and says, "Former hacker."

In the Autobot base, Rafael's armor creates an antivirus for his computer and for the suit itself, neutralizing the virus.

Skyfire asks, "And what have Ratchet, Smokeedge, and Solus Prime been saying all along about combining Cybertronian technology with human technology and Cybertronian magic?"

Back at the train, the chopper is about to land.

The chopper lands and some MECH agents laser-cut a hole into the boxcar.

Iron Speedster then asks, "Ready to kill some terrorists?"

Nitrosmine answers while quietly preparing her weapons, "You betcha, Jackrabbit."

Meanwhile, Bulkhead breaks out of the Eradicon dogpile and all the Autobots finally decide to take advantage of their Forge upgrades to kill the remaining Eradicons.

Down at the cliff ledge, Optimus shudders as he reboots, and he looks in horror as he sees the MECH helicopter landing on the boxcar with the Dingus.

In the boxcar, Iron Speedster and Nitrosmine prepare their weapons.

The hole is fully cut, and Nitrosmine lets loose with her big assortment of guns that fired bullets and Energon bolts interchangeably.

Three MECH agents dropped dead due to the bullets, but Iron Speedster using his Bojutsu skills with his staff that had vibrational heated blades at the ends like a double lightsaber ensured that no other MECH agent would leave alive.

Silas looks scared for once in his life, and without warning, Nitrosmine fills both Silas and his navigators with bullets.

A MECH commander comes up and moves Silas and the navigator out of the way to fly the helicopter out of there.

A new navigator says while pointing out to Optimus as he runs, "Sir, look."

Optimus activates his jetpack and flies to the train.

The MECH commander says, "Attention, all units... Silas is dead. Disengage and initiate Omega Protocols."

The MECH chopper flies out of there, and Iron Speedster remarks, "Not bad for your first human kills."

In the chopper, the commander says as he prepares the same generic MECH assault rifle which also has bullet-shaped grenades, "First rule of combat: never leave the enemy with the spoils."

The commander fires a grenade three miles ahead and demolishes a section of the tracks.

Iron Speedster exclaims, "Whoa!"

Iron Speedster then says into the commlink, "Ratchet, Silas is dead, but one of their commanders blew the train tracks! You need to bridge us out of here, the soldiers and the conductor too!"

Ratchet answers, "I can't risk any of the things that can go wrong with Space Bridging into multiple confined spaces at 90 miles per hour! I'll contact Optimus!"

Ratchet says over Optimus' commlink, "(Filtered) Optimus, Jack and Miko are on that train, and MECH's newest commander has blown the tracks!"

Optimus answers, "I am on my way! Maximum Overdrive!"

Optimus flies at full speed to the train locomotive.

Optimus then spots a Predacon in front of the train, flying over it, looking for some way to land in front of it to help him stop it.

Meanwhile, Cliffjumper reprograms the last Eradicon into a Haulabot, the Transpobot version of an Eradicon.

Arcee then asks, "Where's Optimus?"

Agent Fowler answers, "Optimus and a new Predacon from what I can see have a train to catch."

Amaris transforms to robot mode and she stops five feet in front of the train, digging her clawed pedes into the ground and bracing herself.

Optimus flies next to the right front of the train engine and he starts manually braking the train by pulling it as hard as he can while getting dragged.

And the moment the train crashes into Amaris, she helps Optimus stop the train, and after a half minute, they manage to successfully stop the train.

Amaris asks, "Autobot Trainbot Boilerrail, are you functional?"

Boilerrail answers with a groan, "Ough, yeah. Yeah, I'm functional."

Boilerrail transforms to robot mode and the threesome looks over at the MECH chopper.

The MECH commander remarks as the helicopter records and saves scans of all the Autobots and Decepticons they were able to take pictures of, "Well played, visitors, but MECH still has home field advantage, and we will find a way to level that playing field for Silas, even if we have to open you up to see what makes you tick."

The MECH chopper flees the area.

Amaris then scans the two humans and she sees that aside from elevated heart rates, they're perfectly fine.

Amaris goes to walk away, but Optimus says, "Hold. Identify yourself."

Amaris turns around and answers, "Fear nothing, Optimus Prime. I mean you and the children no harm. Allies don't cause harm to each other unless said allies are a Decepticon spy or a traitor."

Optimus questions cautiously, "You are on our side?"

Amaris answers, "Yes. I am Amaris, co-leader of the Predabots, the subspecies of the Autobots and the original Predacons."

Optimus spies the symbols on her chestplate and her shoulder armor.

Ratchet then asks, "(Filtered) Optimus, are you and the Iron Legion, intact?"

Optimus answers, "Yes, Ratchet, we are. Crises have been averted. But the world we live on is different than previously imagined, especially with what we have come to learn about the various evil humans of the past, the present, and the future. MECH is a persistent enemy, and even without Silas, also known as Leland Bishop, they're not gonna rest until they dominate this world with the latest innovations of modern human technology. And with Autobots, Decepticons, Predacons, and Predabots now exposed to MECH, there is no doubt that they will interfere in our war to indiscriminately capture any one of us to experiment on us until we die and utilize whatever is left to create new weapons and to create their own Transformers."

Ratchet then asks, "(Filtered) And is there anyone else with you?"

Optimus answers, "Yes. The Predabot co-leader Amaris."

Ratchet asks, "(Filtered) The Predabots?! They're still alive?!"

Optimus answers, "Yes, but Amaris will give a full explanation back at the base. Bridge us back to base."

Amaris looks down at Nitrosmine and she asks the Predacon femme, "Who are you?! How did you do that with ease?! That was amazing!"

Amaris chuckles a bit before answering, "I am Amaris, young one, and what I did was what I did, with skill."

Nitrosmine says, "In my battlesuit, I'm Nitrosmine. But outside of my armor, I'm Miko Nakadai."

Just then, the Angelic Demon Femmes came up with their friend, Jane Walker.

Wren looked like she was seconds from bawling her optics out.

Amaris, Iron Speedster, Nitrosmine, Optimus, and the ten femmes walked through the Ground Bridge back to base with Jane in hand.

In the Autobot base, almost every Autobot has their weapons pointed at Amaris.

Amaris says with an angry frown, "For war heroes, you sure aren't friendly to new faces who don't have Decepticon symbols."

Arcee replies with just as much sarcasm in retort, "Well, don't blame us for not being too trusting because of bad experiences."

Amaris tilts her head at Nitrosmine floating in front of her thanks to her Iron Man suit and quizzes, "Are they always like this because of bad experiences they may and may not have told you about?"

Nitrosmine takes a quick picture of Amaris' head tilt before answering, "Yeah, but once you get to know them and earn their trust, no matter how hard it'll be, they're a great bunch to hang around with."

Amaris huffs before saying, "Well, Autobots, it's been nice knowing you, but I must take my leave."

Miko exclaims, "What?! Wait, no, don't leave!"

Amaris replies, "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to stay, but your army of friends don't want me around. They're the closest as close can be to a Predabot spark pack."

Every Autobot's optics widened at the mention of the words "spark pack."

Optimus steps forward and queries, "You were part of a spark pack?"

Amaris answers, "Yes, I was. My team, my childhood friends, and myself were a big spark pack that outclassed all of the greatest enemy armies no matter the numbers, skills in combat training, and pretty much any other things about an army you can think of."

Rafael questions, "What's a spark pack?"

Amaris gently approaches Rafael and answers, "A spark pack is a group of Cybertronians of various beast forms or other kinds of alternate mode that are constantly around to lend a helping hand or a shoulder to cry on, in human idioms. We in a spark pack can always place our trust and faith in each other. It's sort of like a family unit of wolves and lions hunting for food and enemies to kill together."

Rafael inquires perplexed, "But doesn't that simply sound like a group of friends who are truly inseparable?"

Amaris replies, "I suppose it does sound like that in technical terms, but the difference is that a spark pack mate can easily sense where one another is regardless of distance, they can easily sense when they are in danger or when they are grieving, and they can easily determine their exact locations at all times. It's a sort of telepathic connection between minds, as you could call it."

Rafael remarks, "Wow! That's awesome!"

Amaris replies back, "Yes, it certainly is."

Bumblebee buzzes, "If Raf likes you, then so do I!"

Optimus then says, "We are not a spark pack, for that type of group of Cybertronians has long been lost along with Cybertron."

Amaris replies, "Yes, I am well aware of everything that has happened in the Great War between Autobots and Decepticons, and I do mean everything. But those are details I gleamed for sixteen weeks or so from computer files of crashed Decepticon and Autobot ships which were otherwise undetected by even human governments and they were generally irretrievable. Because of this, I had to learn as much as possible to draw a single conclusion that makes the most sense. But the thing was that when I was sent to Earth one hundred and fifty-five years ago by one of my lieutenants, I was buried under the Earth at an Energon deposit, the same one in Nebraska where your Ragebird was resurrected into a Terrorcon."

Everyone looks at each other in shock, seeing that the others had heard what they had heard.

Jack then questions, "So, if you were buried under the Earth for one hundred and fifty-five years, how were you able to unearth yourself?"

Amaris answers, "I was awakened when the Energon mine was blown up, and when I was coming out, I saw all of the Autobot forces accumulated for the mission retreating through the Ground Bridge. From then on, I decided to observe you all so I can choose the right moment to reveal myself to you and offer my services."

Arcee narrows her optics as she asks, "So you've been spying on us?"

Amaris answers, "No, spying is for Autobot and Decepticon spies like Makeshift or Mirage."

Miko then questions, "So, can Amaris be a part of our team?"

Optimus looks at Miko before nodding.

Optimus then says, "You may stay and become a part of our team if you wish to be so."

Amaris replies, "Thank you, Optimus. I guarantee that I will prove myself trustworthy enough to be a friend and a I will fight to my last intake for the Autobot cause."

Then Amaris follows Miko for a tour of the base.

Ratchet quizzes, "Optimus, are you sure she can be trusted?"

Optimus replies, "Indeed I am, old friend."

One day later, Omega Danger was in his vehicle mode of a 2010 McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet fighter jet, on a flight to stretch his wings.

Just then, Ratchet says, "Omega Danger, I'm receiving reports that a NEST base is under attack by the 598 Kaiju monsters known as Kaiju Thick, Hybrid Kaiju, the Kaiju Sisters, Acidquill, Atticon, Bonesquid, Bone Spur, Biantal, Belobog, Baby Kaiju, Ceramander, Clawhook, Crabcakes, Copperhead, Crabcat, Dengue, Ferno, Fiend, Fulcrum, Kaiju Eel, Kame-San, Karloff, Komodo, Kojiyama, Meathead, Oolong, Mega-Kaiju, the Rippers, Sulfury, Kaiju Boy, Vodyandi, Verocitor, Tundra, Trespasser, Tortuga, Thunderhead, Tentalus, Tengi, Taurax, Taranais, Tailsplitter, Spinejackal, Shrikethorn, Scissure, Reckoner, Raythe, Raijin, Rachnid, Pharaoh, Skin Mite, Kaiceph, Itak, Invidia, Insurrector, Hundun, Hound, Himantura, Hidoi, Hardship, Hammerjaw, Onibaba, Ragnarok, Knifehead, Yamarashi, Mutavore, Leatherback, Otachi, Raiju, Scunner, Slattern, Apex, Destoroyah, Breacher, Dynatos, Kaiju Wrecker, and Guuma."

Omega Danger replies, "I'm on my way."

Omega Danger switches on his afterburners and rockets to the NEST base twenty-five miles from Las Vegas and thirty-five miles from Jasper.

Once he arrives at the military base, Omega Danger transforms to robot mode outside the busted gates and he uses his telescopic vision to zoom in on the Kaiju Decepticons attacking the base.

Omega Danger zeroes in on the attackers and he sees that the five hundred and sixty-seven original, new and only Pacific Rim Kaiju monster style Decepticons are indeed the culprits behind the attack on the army base.

Omega Danger walks into the military base as quietly as possible and he shifts his armor to resemble a combination of the Revenge of the Fallen Jetpower Optimus Prime and the Dark of the Moon Jetwing Optimus Prime.

Omega Danger charges towards Leatherback and slices him to pieces with his heated Battle Blades.

Omega then proceeds to cut down Onibaba, Ragnarok and Knifehead with ease.

Omega then decapitates Apex, Destoroyah, Breacher, Dynatos, Kaiju Wrecker, and Guuma.

But Kaiju Thick, Hybrid Kaiju, the Kaiju Sisters, Acidquill, Atticon, Bonesquid, and Bone Spur spot Omega and Kaiju Thick call out, "Decepticons! We have an Autobot attacking us!"

Bonesquid rushes up to Omega and he gets punched in the face, but he manages to bisect Kaiju Thick, Hybrid Kaiju, the Kaiju Sisters, Acidquill, Atticon, Bonesquid, and Bone Spur.

Omega gets kicked in the metal nuts, but he manages to recover in time to avoid a punch from Biantal.

Omega then proceeds to summon an inFAMOUS DC Comics-style Lightning Storm that splits Biantal, Belobog, Baby Kaiju, Ceramander, Clawhook, Crabcakes, Copperhead, Crabcat, Dengue, Ferno, Fiend, and Fulcrum in twain while simultaneously making them explode to pieces.

Omega then gets bitten in the right arm by Kaiju Eel.

Omega recovers long enough to slice Kaiju Eel, Kame-San, Karloff, Komodo, Kojiyama, Meathead, and Oolong to multiple pieces using a combination of his Energon Swords, the one thousand Fists Combo from the Superman Returns video game, and Drift's Blade Dash ability from the Transformers Rise of the Dark Spark video game.

Next, a different variant of the Mega-Kaiju emerged without being a combiner. The new Mega-Kaiju slammed its massive fist into Omega Danger, but he manages to catch the fist with his nearly godlike superhuman strength before calling forth a much bigger Ion Storm with six lightning bolts that split the combiner into six big dead pieces.

Feeling exhausted, Omega Danger infuses himself with twelve Energon Rechargers provided by Fortressimus Prime and Blow Saber to recharge his Energon reserves in the event he finds himself encaptured in a fight against up to five hundred Tank and Truck Vehicons that would potentially drag on for two and a half hours.

Feeling recharged for the time being, Omega then fires his machine guns at the Rippers, Sulfury, Kaiju Boy, Vodyandi, Verocitor, Tundra, Trespasser, and Tortuga at an extremely high rate of speed, completely riddling the big amount of Decepticon Kaiju monsters with bullet holes and the bullet holes shatter the Decepticons to zillions of pieces.

Unexpectedly, Omega gets double-teamed by a mix of attacks from Thunderhead, Tentalus, Tengi, and Taurax.

But Omega manages to blast them to smithereens using a combination of big plasma bolt cannons with flamethrowers built into his rocket jetpack.

Next, Omega manages to obliterate Taranais, Tailsplitter, Spinejackal, Shrikethorn, Scissure, Reckoner, and Raythe with his machine guns, rockets, cannons, and flamethrowers while staying airborne for the time being.

Then, Omega takes to the air once again and flies a short distance away before flying back to Raijin, Rachnid, Pharaoh, Skin Mite, Kaiceph, Itak, Invidia, Insurrector, Hundun, Hound, Himantura, Hidoi, Hardship, and Hammerjaw, only to start shooting at them consistently with his machine guns.

Omega shoots rockets towards Raijin's head before stabbing and bisecting Rachnid, Pharaoh, and Skin Mite.

Then, Omega takes out one Energon Sword and an Energon axe before proceeding to stab and decapitate Kaiceph, Itak, Invidia, Insurrector, and Hundun.

Then, Omega Danger somersaults over a shot from Himatura's AstroMag Fusion Cannon before running towards him as the world slows down.

Next, Omega deploys bladed knuckles in the same style as Wolverine's Adamantium claws and he proceeds to punch and slice Himatura's abdomen so hard that it practically shatters, making the Decepticon monster roar loudly in pain.

Then, Omega punches Himantura in the face before proceeding to rip out the monster's eyes through its throat cables.

Next to that, Omega rushes towards Hound, Hidoi, Hardship, and Hammerjaw before proceeding to smash their heads to pieces with his own summoned replica of Ultra Magnus' Magnus Hammer from Transformers Animated.

Omega puts his Magnus Hammer away before inserting another Energon Recharger.

But that pause was what allowed Omega Danger to let his guard down, and that was his first mistake.

Omega suddenly gets grabbed by Yamarashi and thrown into a power generator which electrocutes him badly.

But Omega Danger gets back up not even seven seconds later, proving that he's stronger and more resilient than he looks.

Yamarashi growls while bringing out his own Wolverine claws, "Is one single military base on this planet not worth a single human life or even yours in particular, Autobot?"

Omega Danger activates his full power by deploying both Energon Swords and snarls, "You won't stop at just one and you won't stop with just me! I'll take you all on!"

Omega Danger pirouettes in a circle as he slashes at the remaining seven monsters, slicing off Otachi's right arm.

But because Otachi's right hand had its helicopter rotor from its Cybertronian vehicle mode online, the rotor started spinning towards Yamarashi out of control, but the Kaiju Decepticon monster blasted the rotor to pieces.

Omega slashes Hidoi again before slicing Otachi's right shoulder off.

Hidoi tries to shoot two missiles at Omega, but Omega Danger kicks Hidoi, causing the missiles to hit Otachi instead. Otachi tries to fire some rounds into Omega, only for Omega to throw his right Energon Blade right into Otachi's right leg, making the Kaiju monster roar in pain.

Omega headbutts Hidoi before plunging his remaining Energon Blade into Yamarashi's left leg before pulling it out harshly.

Omega slashes Yamarashi in the chestplate before stabbing him in the left shoulder and before punching the Kaiju monster ten times.

As Otachi starts pulling out the sword, Omega grabs Hidoi's right arm and proceeds to slam his elbow onto it, severing it.

Hidoi screams, "My arm!" and Omega proceeds to smack the monster with his own arm before decapitating him.

Omega throws the monster's arm away as Otachi pulls out the sword.

Omega deploys two Energon Hooks and climbs onto Otachi's left shoulder and his back before ripping his head in half with the hooks.

Omega jumps down and Otachi's body falls dead to the floor.

Omega quickly spins around and strikes Yamarashi below the belt hard.

Yamarashi kneels in pain, and Omega deploys a replica of the Last Knight Megatron's sword-axe before slicing the last Kaiju in half.

After the last Kaiju monster was destroyed, Omega Danger gathered their corpses, aimed his gun at them, turned on the disintegration beam setting, and fired one continuous shot at the corpses, disintegrating them one at a time.

Thankfully, Omega Danger successfully disintegrates the corpses without spreading any nuclear radiation and without blowing anything up.

After powering down his weapons and his Jetpower Armor, Omega Danger collapses to his knees in exhaustion.

Suddenly, three hundred and twenty Vehicons, one hundred and sixty of each being Vehicon Troopers and Eradicon Troopers, appeared with their blasters primed.

One of the Vehicons remarks, "This is an incredible opportunity. Decepticons! Ready! Aim!"

Suddenly, the six hundred and eight Autobot Jaegers by the names of Tacit Ronin, Romeo Blue, Horizon Brave, Coyote Tango, Cherno Alpha, Brawler Yukon, Atlas Psycho, Victory Alpha, Tango Tasmania, Lucky Seven, Susanoo, Jawbreaker, Diablo Intercept, Eden Assassin, Puma Real, Solar Prophet, Dread Repulse, Sigma Valiant, Ruma Real, Orion Victor, Dead Reckoner, Rust Bucket, Mist Demon, Thunder Fortress, Hidden Dragon, Region Ranger, Overdrive Encore, Vulcan Specter, Shaolin Rogue, Matador Fury, Gypsy Danger, Chrome Brutus, Guardian Nova, Defender Gamma, Intrepid Resolve, Challenger Rex, Paladin Ultra, Rage Wolf, Quake Meridian, Panther Viride, Shogun Bravo, Atlas Destroyer, Storm Splicer, Crimson Flash, Feral Rampage, Delta Whirlwind, Dark Knight, Emerald Beacon, Dynamic Youth, Dancing Blade, Kaiju Terminator, Orion Jade, Black Widow, War Machine, Indigo Patrion, Hightower, Cobalt Warrior, Crimson Typhoon, Echo Saber, Hydra Corinthian, Mammoth Apostle, Nova Hyperion, Strider Zeta, Sierra Vigilant, Cobalt Renegade, Equino Dawn, Chaos Nemesis, Prime Meridian, Scarlet Witch, Maverick Undead, Freedom Wing, Spirit Draco, Shredder Levithan, Retro Destroyer, Striker Eureka, Bracer Phoenix, Azure Defiant, Tempest Wrath, Valkyrie Prime, Lancer Echo, Centurion Fist, Epsilon Vanquish, Artemis Theta, Iron Horus, Tiger Rush, Marauder Oblivion, Aurora Zeta, Alpha Stone, Riptide Maelstrom, Chrome Viper, Gypsy Avenger, Guardian Bravo, Murder Witch, November Ajax, Titan Redeemer, Valor Omega, Wraith Conqueror, Hades Counterstrike, Chronos Berserker, Saber Athena, Striker Berserker, Marauder Zeus, Hunter Vertigo, Night Stalker, Obsidian Fury, Vanguard Horizon, Paladin Tornado, Thunder Kinetic, and five hundred of their Jaeger Troopers that look similar to the Grounder and Flier Jaegers appeared and they totaled the Vehicon drones.

Soon, the other Autobots arrived, and although Optimus gave Omega Danger a scolding for taking on the Decepticon Kaiju Monsters alone, he commended his spy lieutenant on a job well done.

And pretty soon, the six hundred and eight not nuclear Autobots who resemble the Jaeger robots from Pacific Rim were welcomed with open arms and given vehicle modes to scan.

Of course, the Jaeger Autobots Marks 5, 6, and 7 had to be given upgraded frames with vehicle kibble to scan vehicles.

And after getting rid of naming issues, because there was bound to be a few, the Autobots all headed to their rooms to recharge.

The End.

(Author's notes: See you all in chapter 43: Returning Friend.)
