Vimitir can admit…he was obsessed with potions! Ever since his family took him to a covenetion and saw the Potion Coven, he wanted to try every potion out there.

So, he studied potions during his school days, and by the time he was high-ranking in the Potion Coven, he brewed every potion there was. Becoming the Head of the Potion Coven allowed him to continue with his obsession, and he began making his own potions from scratch.

Then, the fall of Belo's empire happened, and all the covens were disbanded. This wouldn't have affected Vimitir's work, but he wasn't good with his snails and often blew through his salary when he got paid. So, by the time he had served his time, he was broke.

To make matters worse, he couldn't hold down a job for long because his potion obsession would get the best of him, and he would cause accidents when working with a new potion recipe.

"So," Adrian asked casually, breaking Vimitir out of his thoughts. "What do you plan to do when we're directing the Isles?"

The demon looked at his fellow rogue witch in annoyance and turned his attention elsewhere. The ex-Illusion Coven Head scowled at being ignored and reached out to strike Vitimir. The potionist saw this and took out a small vial from his pack.

He nonchalantly tossed the potion at Adrian, and the illusionist let out a weak cry as the potion exploded in his face. Adrian's face was covered in smoke for a second, and when cleaned, his face was now a long beak, and his hair was a sickly green.

Adrian felt his face, shocked by the change, but quickly got angry. With a growl, he made a spell circle and prepared to attack.

"Enough!" Terra said commandingly. "We don't have time to be fighting among ourselves."

The plant witch looked at Adrian and smiled sadistically at Adrian's misfortune. Adrian growled at Terra but said nothing; he just brooded silently.

"Now," Terra said, addressing the group, "I have come up with a plan to handle that insufferable family.

Mason, Adrian, and Vimitir immediately gave the plant witch their full attention.

"We will wait until the middle of the week to make our move," Terra explained, smiling sadistically.

The three other rogue witches exchanged doubtful looks. They didn't know about this plan; it sounded simple, not up to Terra's usual standards. Adrian, however, frowned, or what passed as a frown with his long break, as he stared in confusion at the older witch.

"I don't get it," he piped in, "Why don't we just attack when they're sleeping? I heard taking that potion can put one in a deep sleep."

Terra gave the illusionist a look and placed a hand on her hips. "Be my guest, deary," she said in a sickly-sweet tone, "But remember, you have to deal with that house demon."

The four rogue witches all shuddered at the mere thought of that bug-type demon. Adrian looked to be on the verge of puking.

"...I see your point," the illusionist muttered uneasily.

Terra nodded and then went back to planning. Vimitir quickly tuned everything out, thinking to himself. He will see it through if it means he gets his money so he can return to his obsession.

(A week after Ghoul Break)

Vimitir stared at himself, now herself, in the mirror. She sighed as she looked away, frowning sourly.

"Do I have to wait a month until I can change back?" Vimitir asked someone.

"Sorry, Sweetie," Mr. X said, somewhat regrettably. "But the chamber was set up so a certain someone couldn't skip out on their punishment."

Vimitir sighed bitterly and looked back at the mirror. She scowled when she saw the outfit given to her; she wore a pair of relax-fit black jeans and a loose-fitting black t-shirt. On the shirt was a picture of a mad scientist holding up a streaming vial and laughing insanely. Finally, she wore a pair of black sneakers with slash marks on the outside of each shoe.

Vimitir sighed again and looked at the government agent. "So what now?"

Mr. X looked at the transformed witch with a slight frown. "Well, I got in touch with the demon realm and explained what happened." X's frown turned a bit judgmental as he stared at the potionist. "Darius didn't have a lot of good things to say about you, Sweetie."

Vimitir rolled her eyes at this comment. She and Darius were never on good terms, and it only worsened after the Day of Unity.

"However," Mr X added, "He didn't have anything bad to say about you either."

Vimitir scowled as she gestured to herself. "That fine," she retorted bitterly, "But what am I going to do until then?"

"Hmm," Mr. X rubbed the bottom of his chin in thought. "You can always work for us? We could always use more employees at the border."

The transformed potionist cocked an eyebrow at this suggestion. Part of her was skeptical about the offer the agent was giving her. Mr. X sensed the demon realm denizen's hesitation and offered her a smile.

"It's the best I could offer you," Mr. X said bluntly. "From what Darius told me, you're not the most reliable witch around certain types of items."

Vimitir growled at this. No doubt, the abomination witch had told the human about the many explosions she caused when working on her experiments.

It wasn't her fault that one of her experiments happened to explode right in Darius's face, and the potion caused him to lose all his hair permanently.

"...I really don't care," she said somewhat reluctantly, "As long I get paid, I will work."

Well, this was another story I was on the fence about. I was thinking about putting this as the last side chapter in the "Final Outing" story. I eventually decided to go with Skara and her mom's story and changed this chapter to fit with the themes of Daily Lives.
And, only three more to go, folks! Up next, you learn a little more about the events surrounding the twins, the BATTs, and Hunter's reasoning for knocking their family figures down.
