CHAPTER 5

The Land of Truth in the World of Gaming was finally discovered by Clare and her friends thanks to the guiding efforts of Red XIII and his clan. However, Clare was shocked by the size of the mighty Cakeberus. It was even more terrifying when she had discovered that Red Velvet Cookie was whipping the Cakeberus to its broken shape. He was trying to get the Cakeberus to actually murder Ike's father and eponymous leader of the Crimean Greil Mercenaries, Greil. Ike was not having any of it anymore when the Cakeberus attempted to eat Greil. To put an abrupt end to the cake cerberus, Ike unleashed his mighty blue flame Eruption skill to attempt to put the Cakeberus to an end. However, this did not work.

"Ike, you can never put an end to the mighty Cakes!" yelled Red Velvet Cookie. "Cakes! Give this man hell!"

"S-s-stop!" yelled Greil. "You will not touch my son!"

"Quiet, Commander Greil!" yelled Red Velvet Cookie.

A lion's roar was later heard in the distance.

"Aslan?" asked Clare.

"Could he possibly have paid a visit to the World of Gaming?" asked Jonathan.

"Hmph. The mighty lion king of the Beast Tribe Laguz." mentioned Red Velvet Cookie. "Those puny sub-humans are going to die by my Crimson Cake Hand!" he later yelled as he made the proclamation.

"...Sub-Human?" asked Tatiana. "I hope that's not offensive!"

"It's the racist term for the laguz changelings." Clare proclaimed. "Seriously. Red Velvet Cookie would not be like that."

"Ike!" yelled Jonathan. "Can we help?"

"Stay back!" yelled Greil.

"No!" yelled Clare. "We're coming!"

Clare, Jonathan, and Tatiana later ran to the rescue. However, Red Velvet Cookie wasn't having any of it anymore.

"Gah!" yelled Tatiana as she was shocked.

"Who are these children?!" asked Greil.

"Father, they're going to help us in our conflict that Bowser and Pitaya Dragon Cookie started." mentioned Ike.

"I'll get to the bottom of that when I take down this…cake beast!" yelled Greil.

"It's. A. Cake Monster!" yelled Red Velvet Cookie.

"Stop it, you cake cookie!" yelled Greil. A brutal and verbal argument later ensued that later turned into a literal physical confrontation. Then, a red lion with a chain-like belt later broke up the fight that left Red Velvet Cookie fleeing with his cake monsters and Cake Hounds. The red lion was not, however, and ordinary lion. It was the king of the Beast Tribe Laguz of Gallia, the mighty and reluctant King Caineghis. He was accompanied by Ranulf, one of his subordinates, who was a blue cat laguz, and the Divine Cookie Knight Madeleine Cookie.

"So much than me watching all those Food Network cookie shows, I never expected Cookies to look so handsome as that one." said Tatiana as Caineghis later shifted back into his humanoid form.

"Hah hah!" laughed Madeleine Cookie. "So, it's true then!"

"What's true?" asked Ranulf.

"These must be the children." said King Caineghis.

"We are children from the real world. The World of Realism, that is!" proclaimed Clare. "My name is roared as Clare Hutchinson, and I shall be the World of Gaming's heroine that will have countless stories told by singing troubadours!"

"Then that girl's deeds should be sung throughout history!" yelled Madeleine Cookie.

"My only question is…wasn't Lethe and Espresso Cookie right behind us?" asked Ranulf.

Caineghis turned around, and found not only the cat laguz Lethe and the coffee mage Espresso Cookie, but also the tiger laguz Kyza in his humanoid form leading Mordecai in his transformed tiger form.

"You were totally ridiculous making me ride on an orange cat with green bells, Madeleine Cookie!" yelled Espresso Cookie.

"Espresso Cookie, not now." said Greil. "We've pressing matters to attend to with this ongoing conflict involving our precious world artifact."

"Yes!" shouted Madeleine Cookie. "When the Star Crystal and the Five Stars of the Golden are retrieved, my deeds will very much be sung throughout the World of Gaming!"

"Stop, Madeleine Cookie!" yelled Espresso Cookie. "We are all working as a team. This doesn't revolve around you only."

"Enough." said Greil.

Everyone except the children of the World of Realism remained silent. Greil had to yell at Tatiana to keep her quiet. Obviously, Tatiana was not thrilled.

"So, you say your name is Clare Hutchinson?" asked Caineghis.

"Yes." answered Clare. "What are we going to do?"

"You're coming with me." said Caineghis.

"Your Majesty, King Caineghis." Red XIII proclaimed.

Caineghis turned around, asking Red XIII what he wanted out of him. That was when Red asked if he was going to go with him. When Caineghis asked if it was about the Star of Truth, Red XIII answered yes.

"...Very well, then." said Caineghis. "Clare, who else is in your party? Who else from the World of Gaming has come with you?"

Clare answered, saying that her friends Jonathan and Tatiana were with her as well as Cloud, Ike, Tifa, and now Greil Madeleine Cookie, Espresso Cookie, and his laguz subordinates.

"I hate to disappoint you, King Caineghis, but me and my son have to persecute Red Velvet Cookie and the Cookies of Darkness." said Greil.

"If you've other jobs to attend to, so be it." said Caineghis.

"You can have your son fulfill your duties with you, and perhaps we shall cross paths again later on in this adventure." said Red XIII.

"Likely." said Greil. "Come on, Ike."

"Yes, sir." said Ike. Both characters later left. Caineghis later escorted Clare and her party to wherever he wanted to take them.

Back with Pitaya Dragon Cookie and Bowser, the Star Crystal itself was under an unknown dispelling process thanks to Dark Enchantress Cookie and the goddess Ashera. The dispelling process, which was to remove all magical elements from the Star Crystal itself, would have a power inside of the artifact that would make people go berserk. The spell was being controlled by Dark Enchantress Cookie herself. But while the dispelling was being processed, someone knocked on the door while Bowser was in the middle of his piano playing. Infuriated, Bowser wanted to see exactly who it was. It was a mysterious cloaked woman.

"I have come to clear my conscience, King Bowser." said the mysterious lady.

"Oh, yes, come in." said Bowser.

The lady entered in an awkward manner.

"Ssso…" said Pitaya Dragon Cookie.

"I'm guessing you are the mastermind behind our world?" asked Dark Enchantress Cookie.

"Tee hee hee! I am." said the woman. "My name is Devin. I don't remember introducing myself properly before, so I decided to do it now."

"Ah, Devin." said Bowser. "So, tell us. We have gotten confirmation that three school children are located in the World of Truth."

"Ssso what we want to know is thisssss." said Pitaya Dragon Cookie. "Who are thessse three children?"

"They can be identified as Clare Hutchinson, Jonathan Arlidge, and Tatiana Daymond." said Devin.

"I see." said Bowser. "And what would you like me to do with these children, Devin?"

"They are to be persecuted for ditching their classes to go behind the lockers." said Devin. "One of the family members of the three children argued about Dio Brando with me."

"So do you want us to track down these three brats and keep them with us?" asked Bowser.

"Make sure they do not see the light of day or their families again." said Devin.

"I'll obey your orders, Devin." said Bowser.

Back in the corridors of Riverton Public School, Mr. Stark and Miss Frye, two of Clare's teachers, were looking for Mrs. Hampshire after Mr. Stark noticed that she was missing from her office. Then, Miss Frye discovered Clare's locker opened. With the locker opened, there were notes falling out of the locker. Mr. Stark unfolded one note and began to use his elite reading skills to read the note carefully left by Principal Hampshire.

Dear Mr. Stark,

I have to clear my conscience to the entire school. I have made the vice principal take over as head principal of Riverton Public School until I am able to make my triumphant return from the World of Gaming. I've traveled to the World of Asian Culture and did what I thought was the most bizarre. I have revived Dio Brando after finding out that Clare Hutchinson was the one responsible for killing that pathetic Brando bastard. Jotaro Kujo and Joseph Joestar spotted me reviving him, and attempted to stop me; however, I managed to make a quick escape from those stupid Joestars. But it does not end there.

I surprisingly took Dio Brando to the World of Literature to revive the White Witch and the NightWing-IceWing Hybrid Darkstalker. Then, thanks to the efforts of the mighty Darkstalker, we managed to travel to the World of Television to revive Magica De Spell and Hawkmoth. But, in the World of Movies, I managed to get Magica to revive Claude Frollo and Scar. But however, the NightWing Moonwatcher and the SilkWing Luna were after us after they both got news from Jotaro Kujo and Joseph Joestar. But I managed to get back to my office with these characters quickly before we were about to be persecuted by Jotaro's Stand, Joseph's Hamon, and of course, Luna and Moonwatcher's dragon powers.

So, we all sat down and together, all those villains made a plan for me. Dio looked at me and said "Why don't you find that Clare girl again and give this to her" as he gave me what looked like blood. But it wasn't blood. It was Berserk Juice made to look like blood. I gladly accepted it. Then, Darkstalker told me that I should try going into the World of Gaming to find Clare. After all, she had been to every world except the World of Gaming, which is hidden behind her locker.

But here's the point: I'm actually in the World of Gaming working with Bowser, Pitaya Dragon Cookie, and Dark Enchantress Cookie to have Clare, Jonathan, and Tatiana gone from our world. So, if you want them back, you're going to have to come and find out what secret I've been hiding since the beginning of the school year.

Mr. Stark was shocked. So was Ms. Frye. As he wanted to spread the word across the school, Mr. Stark snapshotted the photo of the note, transferred the photo to his computer, and printed out the photo. Then, as he put it on the school bulletin board, he hoped Clare would be alive with Jonathan and Tatiana once the three were found. But this left Ms. Frye questioning something to herself: Was Mrs. Hampshire really the one involved in creating the worlds Behind the Lockers at Riverton Public School? One secret could only be revealed, and it was now up to Mr. Stark to find out the truth about Principal Hampshire.
