Islands of the Stream
Chapter Five
Moments later Admiral Harriman Nelson had arrived to sickbay to speak with the Doctor. When he had arrived he will find Morris being checked over by the doctor in the main office of sickbay. Nelson to find out on what was going on with the Seals officer.
Turning to face Doctor Robinson taking over as the new Chief Medical Officer. "What's going on with Morris, Doctor Robinson?" he says with a seriousness of his question.
Facing the Admiral as Morris had been putting back on his grey jumpsuit before arriving at the U.S.S. Caroline. "Sir, I was giving this man the once over before we arrive at the U.S.S. Caroline." he advised since he and a few others had known about the destination of the U.S.S. CAROLINE.
"How's he doing Doc?" Nelson needed to know before the doctor had given him the medical chart to read. Since he understands all of the medical technology, Nelson will hand back the chart with a slight frown on his craggy face. "Very well Doctor see to it that he gets a few hours shut eye before arriving?" he strongly urged with the request.
It was at this point that the Seal commander Morris decided to answer the question instead. "I will be sure sir that I sleep at least five hours. I haven't been able to wind down after arriving onto the Seaview." he says with a crooked smile.
"Be sure that you do, Morris or else the doctor will be forced to give you a pill or shot to have you sleep five hours the most. Believe me I know. Our previous Chief Medical Officer had done it to me a few times against my will." Nelson remembered from over the years.
He will watch the young Seals officer James Morris after checking his jumpsuit to leave Sickbay.
Nelson needed to say to the new Chief Medical Officer. "Please be sure to keep an eye out on the new personnel of the Seaview. There is trouble brewing with the Russians, Doctor Robinson?" Nelson having to be serious with the doctor and his request.
Turning to face the Admiral even though there relationship was strictly all business as his Chief Medical Officer. "I will sure to be on the lookout Admiral Nelson. Otherwise I have asked Patterson when he was done with his shift to come here for another check after what had happened inside of the flying sub one." he will say to the Admiral.
"If he doesn't come here Doctor. I will have one of the security officers to bring him here for that medical check of yours." he smiled finally even though he knew that Patterson always hated coming to sickbay for a check.
"It's okay, Admiral I believe Patterson will keep to his word." Doc said with putting the medical chart back into place to wait for Patterson to arrive.
Meanwhile Nelson looked at his watch having realized that the watch was almost over to have the overnight shift to take over.
"Did someone mentioned my name?" Patterson arriving into sickbay will startle everyone and including Admiral Nelson. "Doctor, I was asked to come here for a check. I have promised you that I will be here for the most part."
"I knew that you would Patterson." Doctor Robinson needed to have said as with Nelson knowing his man really well.
"Good luck, Doc and please be sure to send me a full report in the morning?" Nelson asked with not waiting for a response.

Caroline needed to know an update on when the Seaview from the Nelson Institute will be arriving to drop off the Commander James Morris to begin Operation TURNSTYLE.
Communications officer had come over to the captain while speaking to the Seals with the information that he was seeking.
"Sir, I have been in contact with the Seaview and they tell me that they are currently heading for our position in 30 hours to be exact. There hasn't been any trouble since the communications board on the Flying Sub blew. All security measures has been taken on board the Seaview."
