"Daddy, you sure this is a good idea, me joining you for when you talk to the grownups, helping them with their problems as I don't know what to say." Herbert heard Rocket say. It was still Dexember and getting closer to Christmas and right now, Rocket was sitting in a kit sized throne beside his dad's big throne as Herbert thought it would be good, for him to sit in on his helping the peopke of Wondergore by listening to them. "You're learning skills justby observing and later, you can play with your friends." Herbert told him ruffling behind his furry ear noticing the Christmas tree which was making him relax.
"Ohhhhh, that's okay, I guess if all I have to do is observe, then it's okay." Rocket told him.
Herbert smiled hearing this, seeing people entering and was talking to them, impressing Rocket but was watching him in quiet, godlike awe which Herbert was unaware of, noticing the grin on his prince's furry face finding it sweet but later, they were done so could take a break getting a snack, seeing Rocket was quiet hoping nothing was wrong.
"You aren't hearing that music again, boy." he heard Herbert ask shaking his furry head.
"Nope just thinking, thanks for the hot cocoa." he replied to him.
"You're welcome, plus you did a good job observing, and helped others relax." Herbert said.
Later that afternoon, Rocket awoke from his nap after playing with Teefs and Floor after lunch and observing his dad with their people and how his dad helped them which made that feeling of awe come back and got up rubbing sleep from his eyes and going to find Herbert relieving him that his prince was awake, making him a snack seeing that strange look on his furry face asking Rocket about this.
"I-I just like quietly admiring you, daddy, that's all." Rocket replied to him.
"Ohhhh Rocket buddy that's so sweet, but you okay and had a good nap." Herberttold him.
"Uh-huh, I did and needed it, after everything and playing." Rocket replied.
"That's good buddy as you need yohr rest to grow." Herbertreplied to him.
He knew Wal-Rus and Bun-Bun had tokd him that Teefs and Floor were excited about the holidays too, just like Rocket and they'd been talking to Herbert about putting Rocket in pre-school only Herbert said he'd think about it only he'd worry about his lil prince being away from him taking deep breaths.
