Sitting down on one of the comfortable couches in the oft forgotten break room in Lastation's basilicom, Uni played with her thumbs as she mused to herself, hearing a humming of some sort of tune, she looked up, as she saw another raven haired woman in the room… but unlike her or even her own sister, this woman did not share her piercing red eyes, instead, her's were a cool blue
Perhaps ironic considering the life this woman had led…
"Hmmm… my lovely Noire~" K-sha mused, as she continued her crocheting, her hands moving shockingly swiftly and with no wasted movements she continued making an intricate scarf… big enough for two.
Looking at her, Uni bit her thumb. Eventually glancing down at her own hands…
Maybe that was it…
But on the other…
"Hmm? Uni?" K-sha eventually asked aloud, as she continued her happy humming, after all… today was an amazing day!
It was her and Noire's one year anniversary!
One whole year since Noire had accepted K-sha's feelings. How could she not be through the roof?! This had been the best year of her whole life! Even better than all the others since she had met Noire.
Since Noire had freed her of the shackles the Order tried to instill in her since birth. How ironic… the girl they had trained to be a human weapon against the CPUs… was hopelessly in love with a CPU. Served those bastards right. Not that K-sha particularly paid it much conscious thought. They weren't worth the ATP in her neurons.
"Eh?" Uni perked up in surprise
"Is something the matter?" K-sha asked again, her hands not slowing in the slightest as she glanced at her 'sister-in-law to be'
"O-oh… it's nothing" Uni laughed it off as she waved her hands. But of course, as with any matter involving the sisters of Lastation, it was never that easy. And K-sha knew that perhaps better than anyone. Narrowing her eyes, she looked Uni in the eyes, her blue meeting Uni's red. Cupping her chin, she began again,
"Hmmm…" She furled her nose, as Uni gulped, before K-sha shot to her feet, sprinting over to where Uni was seated before Uni could even react, throwing herself around Uni in a tight hug, she began in her shrill voice, "Ohhhh I know, Uni, you feel terrible about not getting me and my Noire something for our anniversary! It's ok! I promise!" She cooed as she rubbed her cheek on Uni's as Uni cringed, using all her strength to push away the shockingly powerful woman,
"No! Get. Off. Of. ME!" She yelled as she threw K-sha off her, as she looked down at the woman, "Why on earth would I get you two anything!? Isn't that supposed to be between you two anyway!?" She asked, dumbfounded by K-sha's conclusion, turning her back, she added, under her breath, "Not that Noire would even care one way or the other" she said before starting to leave the room, feeling way too pent up at the moment. She needed a break… and maybe to call Nepgear…
Soon finding the task impossible, as the powerful woman she had thrown to the ground had grasped her hand with her full strength, causing Uni to quickly flip her head, only to be met with K-sha looking her dead in the eyes with as fierce a glare as she could. It made Uni's spine shiver.
"What do you mean by that?" She asked with no emotion behind the words at all, which made it all the more terrifying to Uni…
She had seen this look before…
But back then… K-sha was holding an uzi to her head.
"Wha-" Uni tried to manage out, yet, K-sha cut her off as soon as the words left her lips,
"Are you suggesting that Noire would not want a gift from you? Or that she won't notice that you wont give her something?" She asked, before she pulled Uni in closer, her tone somehow dropping even more, "Or are you suggesting that Noire doesn't notice those sad eyes you wear around all day?" She asked, as she cut right into Uni's soul, as the young woman could feel her very being crumble, as her eyes, and lip began to quiver
"I- I-" Uni tried to manage out but her words simply did not leave her mouth, sensing this, K-sha let out a sigh, letting out a deep breath, she softened her features,
"You two really are cut from the same cloth… it's cute~" She chuckled, before adding. "It means it's something you're scared about" K-sha deduced as Uni gasped, "Right on mark" she pointed out,
"..." Uni still couldn't find the words.
"Should I get Noire or-"
"No!" Uni snapped as she soon gritted her teeth, realizing she had backed herself into a corner. There was no way she was leaving this room without spilling what was on her mind.
"Oh?" K-sha asked, almost a hint of smugness behind her tone, as if she had planned on backing Uni into proverbial corner,
"...why does sis love you more than me?" Uni eventually quietly managed out as she stared at her own feet, "Is- Is- is… it… because…" Uni's voice began to break,
"Uni!" K-sha snapped, her voice laced with anger… and disappointment, "You… you sound just like me back then!" She yelled, as Uni began violently shaking her head,
"No! No! Nonono!" She yelled back," "It's… always… been like this… she was just looking for an excuse…" She soon thereafter lost her voice as her tone was reduced to but a husk, K-sha gasping, not just because of the words she heard, looking behind Uni for but a moment, she gently raised her hand,
"NO! YOU DON'T GET IT!" Uni soon snapped again, "Noire… she thinks you're so beautiful but…" She gritted her teeth, her emotions spiraling out of control, as she lost it, a bright light enveloped the room, as Black Sister replaced Uni where she stood, "Sis…" she began, taking deep breaths, as Black Sister felt tears pour from her eyes
"SHE HATES THIS" she yelled, pointing to herself, quickly falling to her knees, the transformation breaking almost as soon as it was there, Uni soon sobbing into her hands, "She's so ugly… Noire can't even stand being next to her… it's why… it's why…" Uni couldn't even get the words out anymore through her sobs
Noire had simply replaced Uni for K-sha.
If Black Sister wasn't so ugly…
"Uni! I-" K-sha started in anger, yet…
"Uni!" Another voice added itself to the conversation, as Uni gasped in abject horror, and in the longest moment of her whole life, she turned her head to face behind where she was, looking to the doorway to see who she knew would be looking back at her…
"Noire…" She somehow managed out, as she looked her sister in the eyes, and as she looked at her features, she could see how her lip seemed to quiver, yet… unlike K-sha…
It wasn't out of anger.
It was…
"Do… do you really think I think that?" It was out of sadness. Noire's face looked genuinely gutted. "Uni… Uni…" Noire started to feel tears of her own flush her face, "Why… why would I hate your beautiful and wonderful goddess form?" Noire couldn't continue anymore. Shaking her head, she gritted her teeth as she looked at her sister through her own tears,
"Noire. Tell her." K-sha looked on at the scene, trying to remain as neutral as possible, despite the scene in front of her making her want to cry tears she had long since forgotten how to cry,
"Uni…" Noire took a deep breath as she gathered herself "You… you will take over this wonderful country of ours after me… you… you…" She began before, "YOU'RE SO MUCH PRETTIER THAN ANY OF THOSE POSERS SISTERS!" She yelled as she soon flung herself around her sister, gripping her to her chest,
"But… you… you never stand next to me in any of our speeches when I'm Black Sister…" Uni presented as she bit her lip
"..." Noire gritted her teeth, "You idiot!" She soon pushed Uni to arms length away from her as she looked her in the eyes, "Do you really not know why I do that!?" She asked, as Uni shook her head, "It's because… I want you to stand out! I don't want you to just be my sister! You are Uni goddamnit! And when you take over after me, you'll be so much damn better than me that it'll make everyone forget all about me, you idiot!" Noire yelled with fervor, as Uni's eyes widened, before tears wettened her eyes once more…
But this time…
They were out of joy. Flinging herself onto her sister, she gripped to her, as both let out all the tears in their system. The beautiful moment shared between sisters…
Well aside from K-sha. Who had already taken several photos of the embrace, had already made it her lock screen, and had bled almost a liter of blood from her nose…
Welll... sorry that one only is passingly about Black Sister, its tough thinking of ideas about the CPU forms lol. Anyway...
Guest- Thank you! It really has been a personal goal of mine to give more character to the twins. There's a reason why my personal favotite story I've ever written is Ram's Greatest Day. I love the twins to death and think they deserve better!
end5- Thank you! They really are kindred spirits, so its only natural they'd become friends
Tony Anderson- awww thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed them. I think they really fit one another really well.
