Snow
David and I walk int our apartment. We don't say a word on our walk home. Both still processing what happened and getting ready to see Emma after what she had done. I don't know if I can look her in the eyes right now without lashing out. What happened to our daughter? I don't know her anymore. I can hear Emma´s footsteps coming closer.
"Mom, Dad where… where is Henry?" She asks in a quiet voice. Seriously? I look at my daughter and see the tears in her eyes. She changed into a pair of grey sweatpants and a white shirt. She put her hair in a messy bun. I look back in her eyes and can feel anger and hurt rising inside of me once again. I walk up to her and look her straight in the eyes.
"Do you really think Henry would leave his mother to come to you? After everything that you´ve put her through?" I can hear my voice rising now and Charming puts a hand on my back to calm me down, but I shake him off and continue.
"You turned his mother into a killer! You made her kill her own mother! How did you think he´d react? Run to you and hug you? Telling you how great you are and that you are his only mother? That you´ve save the day?"
"It was Regina´s idea to put Cora´s heart back…"
"Because she wanted a mother with a heart!" I yell back.
"Snow…" I hear Charming say but he stops talking as soon as I glare at him.
"Don´t Snow me right now." I tell him and turn my attention back to Emma. She looks the floor and fiddles with her hands.
"How?" she looks at me as if to say don´t ask me that. I take another deep breath.
"How dd you do it and why?" I ask again with a calmer voice.
She stays quiet for a few minutes. I shake my head and start to pass her. We are back to back when I hear a quiet voice.
"Gold. I went to him after Henry…" She takes a deep breath before continuing.
"I asked him for help. I don´t know how but somehow he knew of Regina´s plan and where Cora´s heart was. He told me the place and that I should bring it to him. I had no idea what he did with it once he had it, I swear." She starts crying again.
"He called me an hour after I left his shop. He told me to put it back where it was so Regina would find it. I was so nervous that I´ve put it in the wrong place. I was glad about it for a minute or two because if it was in a different place, Regina wouldn´t find it. But.."
"But?" I ask.
"Then I thought about Henry. How happy he was when Regina came back. How him calling me Emma hurts like hell and how I am suffering since Regina left the town. I wanted him back. I wanted him to look at me the same way he looked at me when he first found me. I wanted him to see me as a mother again. I wanted everything to be like before and I thought him seeing Regina kill again would accomplish that." She started to cry hysterically.
I turned around and took her in my arms. She started to cry harder and I let her before talking again.
"Emma. I already told you this once but I´ll say it again. Regina is his mother and you need to accept that. Did you really think Henry would never find out about your part in all of this? I know you love Henry with all of your heart and he loves you as well but after all the things that´ve happened over the past few months. After what happened today I really think that you need to talk to him about your fears. Talk to him and then give him space. Accept it if he doesn´t want to see you for a while. You have to swallow your Savior pride and apologize to him and Regina. After that, sty away from them. I know you don't want to lose Henry so let him decide from now on. If he wants to stay with Regina, suck it up and accept it because if you continue like this you will lose him. If you haven't lost him already." I squeeze her hand and then leave the room with Charming close behind.
