"I really think you should leave now." I tell her while looking back into her eyes for a second.

I dont care if she has my heart at this point. I just need her to leave. I turn around to make my way to the front door. Just as I am taking my first step towards it she starts talking again.

"Granny found me on the floor crying my heart out. I told her everything and she listened. Once I was finished she told me how foolish I was. She told me that everyone could see how you felt for me and not even the evil queen could fake that look. She told me that everything you said about the King was true. When I asked her how she knew that she said that her and a friend of hers found you one night in the woods trying to escape. She saw your bruises and they helped you. They wanted to help you but somehow the King found you and took you back with him."

I smile a little at the memory of waking up in front of a fire place in a little cottage with two elderly women taking care of my wounds. I remember them asking what happened and somehow I found myself telling them everything that happened. They offered to help me escape but somehow the King found us. He threatened to kill them if I didnt go with him. I couldnt let that happen. At that point I didnt know that they were wolves but even if I had known I wouldnt have let them get killed because of me so I went with him.

"Granny said that even in the Enchanted Forest nothing was as it seemed. I realized that that was one of the reasons why she never said anything bad about the evil queen. She always said that there is a reason behind everything that somebody does. That was when I realized that all the stories about your ex-husband were about him. I cried even then."

I can hear her taking a step closer. I take a deep breath and look up for a second. I will never forget how genuine Granny and her friend were that night. Which is when I found out that they were wolves I did everything in my power to protect them.

I want to take another step to the door because I am hoping beyond hope that she's finished with her story but she's not.

"Then you saved Emma and Snow by absorbing a death curse. When I saw you leaning against that tree for support I wanted to run to you and hit you and scream at you for how stupid you were. Risking your life for them nit thinking about what effect you being gone would have on Henry or me."

I am turning around to face her and tell her that its non of her business what I do with my life but before I even get a word out she starts talking again.

"But Snow already pulled me away and before I knew it we were at Granny's. Once I realized that you wouldnt come I started to worry. What if the effect of the curse hit you at home with no one there to help you? So I left Granny's and I made my way to your house."

Wait what? I look at her bewildered. No, she... what? Before I know what to say she starts talking again and I swear she is way closer now than before. When did she get so close? There are only a few inches between us and I have to take a step back to put some distance between us so I can think again and breathe.

"By the time I arrived at your house it was already too late. You were gone. I saw the note for Henry and I knew that you left Storybrook. I wanted call or text you but I knew you wouldnt answer and delete the messages without reading them. So I hoped that you would come back someday so I could apologize. So I could tell you how sorry I am for not believing in you when you needed it the most."

I look her in the eyes and I can see the tears running down her cheeks.

"I am so sorry Regina. I understand why you cast the curse.
