A/N: Not much to say to be honest. I decided to do a Moxxie and Maggie flashback since we wouldn't be getting the Stolas and Via flashback (given this is taught through Maggie's POV) and I know most fans probably already know about their father, but I'm still pretending she doesn't really reveal it until the Exes and Oohs chapter. I think it's in character of her not wanting to talk about it even in narration.

A young Moxxie, about ten years old, was suddenly awoken to the sound of a scream followed by a wail down the hall. His yellow eyes glowed in the darkness as they shot open. He knew what this was. He also knew that if he didn't act, someone would. He rubbed his eyes as he crawled out of bed. He hoped the screaming and wailing only woke him. Down the hall he walked, tiptoeing past a particular bedroom.

"Maggie?" Moxxie called when he got to the bedroom down the hall, "Are you okay?"

He fearfully looked down the hall to make sure there was no movement or sign of waking from the other room. He really didn't want anyone else to wake up because he knew. Oh yes he knew that it would be bad if he was woken.

"Maggie, I'm coming in," Moxxie said, and he opened the door to see his little sister crying as she hugged her blanket, "Did you have another nightmare?"

Maggie looked at her brother, and his presence alone calmed the five year old impling down enough to stop wailing. Moxxie sighed a bit, knowing full well he wasn't leaving this room tonight. With a concerned look, he approached the bed.

"Scoot over," Moxxie whispered, and he climbed into the bed with her, "You wanna tell me what happened in your nightmare? You know you can tell me anything."

Maggie nodded, "I…I don't wanna talk about it."

Moxxie hugged her, "That's okay. If you don't wanna talk about it, you don't have to. But you gotta be careful, Mags. You could have woken Dad up with your screaming."

"Sorry…" Maggie replied, "Will you stay with me, Moxxie?"

"Of course I will," Moxxie replied, "and no matter what, I'll always be here for you."

Maggie smiled, but she frowned again, "Why did Mommy leave us?"

That question caused Moxxie to flinch a bit, and he scratched his neck trying to come up with an answer for her, "I…don't know. Dad doesn't talk about her."

Moxxie sat in silence for a bit with his sister, but he couldn't come up with anything else to say, "It's late, Maggie. We should probably try to get back to sleep. I promise I won't leave your side."

"Okay," Maggie replied, snuggling up to her big brother, "Good night, Moxxie."

Within moments, she was back asleep. Moxxie stared down at his sister, and he gave a warm smile.

"Good night, Maggie."

Years later, Maggie stretched after a decent sleep. Her life now wasn't nearly as luxurious, but it was preferred that way for many reasons. Maggie quickly got dressed, and she headed out to the kitchen where Moxxie had breakfast waiting.

"Good morning, Maggie," Moxxie greeted.

"Morning, Mox," Maggie greeted back, "How did you sleep?"

"Oh, uh, good," Moxxie stuttered, not wanting to share the events of last night with his asexual sister, "yeah, we slept good."

Maggie furrowed her eyebrow, "What's with the stuttering? Did Blitzø watch you sleep again?"

"Surprisingly no," Moxxie replied, "it was just me and Millie."

Maggie then realized, "Ohhhh, you know you don't have to hide if you and Millie uh…you know. This is your apartment after all."

Moxxie blushed embarrassed, "Judging by the fact you didn't ask about it, I'm guessing you slept well, not hearing a thing."

Maggie giggled, "Yeah, and if we can, I'd like to change the subject."

"That's a great idea," Moxxie agreed, his face turning pink, "Anyway, uh, we should probably get going soon as Millie is ready. We don't wanna be late."

"I don't think Blitzø is gonna care what time we show up, so long as we don't have clients. As far as I know, we don't have any clients today. Probably an office day today," said Maggie.

"Mornin' Maggie," Millie greeted as she entered the room, "Ya'll ready to head to work?"

"After we finish breakfast first," Maggie answered, "both of you need breakfast too."

Moxxie and Millie surrendered, and they sat down to eat. Maggie smiled, but then she frowned a bit, "Are you guys sure it's okay that I live here? I mean…you're married now."

"Of course it's fine, sweety," Millie replied, "you're family after all."

Maggie smiled reassured now, and she took her plate to the sink.

"Oh, I'll take care of the dishes," Moxxie replied, "Why don't you get a head start toward the office? We'll be right behind you."

"Okay, see you there," Maggie called out, and she left.

The walk wasn't long, and Maggie felt relatively safe in the neighborhood she lived in. Despite living in Hell, there were some places that Maggie felt were safe.

Moxxie has taken care of me for as long as I can remember. Our mother left when I was very little. I don't even remember having a mom. If it weren't for Moxxie, I feel like my life would be a lot worse than it turned out. When we first met Millie, I was afraid that Moxxie would leave me too. Luckily, though, I was proven wrong as Millie embraced me just as much as she embraced him. I just hope I'm not being a burden, living with them. In some ways, I see Moxxie as a father figure. Satan knows our real father wasn't much of one to me. Huh? You want to know more about him? I don't feel like sharing that story yet.

I remember the night Moxxie and I ran away from home like it was only yesterday.

It wasn't too long ago. Maybe a few years if that? I layed in my bed crying from…well…things. I'd finally fallen asleep when I heard his voice.

"Maggie," Moxxie's voice whispered, and Maggie opened her eyes.

"Moxxie?!" Maggie exclaimed in bewilderment, "What are you doing here? I thought-"

Maggie was cut off as Moxxie hugged her, "I'm so happy to see you."

"I thought you were-"

"I was…but…now I'm here for something else."

"What?"

"You."

Maggie's eyes widened in bewilderment, "M-me?"

"Let's get out of here, sis," Moxxie smiled to his sister, "We can start over away from all this. I've been given the opportunity to work somewhere else, and I want you to come with me. Our lives can be whatever we want it to be. We can do what we wanna do, be who we wanna be."

"Why did you come back then?"

"I didn't wanna leave you behind. I want you to come with me."

"You…came all the way back here…for me?"

"Yes…what do you say, Mags? Will you come with me and start a new life?"

Maggie's eyes got misty as she cried tears of joy, "Yes…yes, let's get the hell out of here."

It's been a wild ride since then, and I wouldn't change it for the world. Blitzø can be a bit much sometimes…but I'm very grateful for the chance he gave us. He even made it so I could work with Moxxie. I haven't really made any connections outside of the office, but I'm okay with that. For the longest time, I only had Moxxie. Slowly but surely, my circle of connections is growing.

Maggie smiled to herself as she walked into the office. Loona sat at her desk playing on her phone while she could see a silhouette of Blitzø in his office. Usually, she'd check in with him to make sure he didn't have anything for her to do. However, today, she just went up to Loona's desk.

"Good morning, Loona," Maggie greeted cheerfully, and Loona clicked her tongue in response. Normal behavior between the two.

Maggie went and got a cup of water, and she took out her phone. She didn't wanna bother Blitzø until he called for her. Not long after she arrived, Moxxie and Millie walked in too. Loona wondered slightly why Maggie went in without them, but then decided she didn't really care.

"See? Sounds like a boring day today," Maggie shrugged.

She could hear a few shouts coming from Blitzø's office, but nothing she could quite make out. There was no consistency either, so it probably wasn't important. Maggie grabbed a clipboard, and she began to calculate the budget for the next month.

Not long after, she could hear a shout through a megaphone, "M n' M, get in here! We're going to Loo Loo Land!"

Maggie had heard of Loo Loo Land, but she had never gone. Moxxie opened the door to his office as he and Maggie simultaneously questioned their boss, "Loo Loo Land?"

Millie then burst through the window of the door, looking excited, "Loo Loo Land?!"

"Loo Loo Land!" Blitzø shouted through the megaphone.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Loona shouted from her desk.

Loo Loo Land…Moxxie mentioned it to me once, but we never went. It was probably all the same since Moxxie was disturbed by theme parks, especially the mascots. I never really showed an interest in going…not that our father would have cared anyway. Mox and I had our reserves about going, but it was a job. We didn't really have a choice. On the way, Blitzø briefed us on the mission. We'd be guarding Prince Stolas and his daughter, Octavia. There wasn't much room in Blitzø's small van. I mean the van is decently sized, but Stolas and Octavia are like…twice to thrice my size. We made it work, though. Millie sat on Moxxie's lap which wasn't anything unusual. Blitzø had me sit on Loona's lap. Hey! It was the only lap available! Loona didn't like it, but what choice did I have? Luckily the ride was short. I always forget Loo Loo Land is in the Greed ring…n-not that I care.

Nope, I ain't telling you SHIT about my past…at least not yet. I promise that I will. Just wait, okay?

Moxxie held Maggie's hand, knowing she felt a little uneasy. He was uneasy too, but he pushed it aside to comfort his sister. Octavia, meanwhile, was annoyed with Stolas' flirting with Blitzø.

"You," Stolas said with a playful tone, bending down to his level, "are so cute when you are serious."

"I'm literally gonna be sick," Octavia grumbled with a disgusted but also deadpan look.

"Oh crumbs! I knew today would be a lot!" Moxxie panicked, grabbing all the medical supplies he brought, "What do you need? Anti-acids? Ibuprofen? Morphine?"

"That was figurative, old man," Octavia replied and walked off.

"Oh, right," Moxxie chuckled sheepishly as he discarded the glowing needles into a nearby baby carriage, and he muttered under his breath but within earshot of Maggie, "But she said it was literal."

Maggie gave a nervous smile to her brother, "It's just something teenagers these days say. Nobody knows why they don't use the term correctly."

"Aren't you still a teenager, Mags?" Millie asked her.

"I'll have you know I'm twenty-one," Maggie defended, "You didn't guess that with all the drinks I have on occasion?"

Millie shrugged, "I thought you just didn't give a fuck, especially since you don't drink often."

"Hm…fair point," Maggie responded.

Millie looked around excitedly at the theme park as Moxxie and Maggie looked around uncomfortably.

Millie apparently loved this place, but honestly I'm on Moxxie's side. This place is disturbing. The mascots are creepy as fuck, the prices are ridiculous and I'm pretty sure there are a million ways people can get hurt! Given Mox and I have never been here, Blitzø decided to let the three of us have some family fun. Millie grabbed Moxxie, and I followed suit. Millie was excited to ride her favorite ride which was called 'The Lawsuit'. It looked fun to me, but the same couldn't be said for Moxxie.

After the ride, Moxxie ran straight to a garbage can. Maggie and Millie pat his back as he threw up into it. Moxxie was definitely not a rollercoaster kind of guy. Maggie enjoyed the ride despite never once riding anything like it. She wasn't sure why Moxxie was affected as such, but nonetheless she comforted him.

"We can do something you wanna do now, Mox," Millied offered.

"Let's just…" Moxxie began and his mouth filled with vomit again and he spit it into the trash can, "walk around. Maybe my stomach will settle now that I'm back on land."

"Okay, sweety," Millie replied, and the trio of imps headed over toward the games.

Maggie looked around, and she had to admit Loo Loo Land wasn't quite as bad as she thought it would be. She probably wouldn't have enjoyed it much as a child, but as a single visit, it was fun as an adult. Maggie was definitely a child at heart, though, so childish things would appeal to her. Maggie saw a plushy in the distance, and her eyes became starry.

"What is it, Maggie?" Moxxie asked.

"It's a-a thing!" Maggie excitedly said, pointing at the thing.

"Oh, you like that thing?" Moxxie asked with a smile.

"Yes! I don't know what that thing is, but I want that thing!" Maggie squealed, and Millie giggled at her childlike demeanor. It was cute.

"Ah, finally, some…thing I can handle," Moxxie said with a confident smile, earning the giggles of his sister and wife.

Moxxie approached the game, and he pulled out some money, "One game please."

Moxxie shot the target flawlessly, and he blew the tip of the gun. Maggie and Millie clapped excitedly, but there was a problem. The game was still lost.

"Ohhhh! Strike one, little man!" the carnie called out.

"But I hit it," Moxxie argued.

"Hmmmm I don't know what to tell ya, buddy. The target, see? It didn't go down," the carnie argued back with a smile, "So yeah…no go, bro."

It was really sweet Moxxie wanted to win me that thing, but I quickly realized what was going on here. This mother fucker was rigged from Heaven to Hell.

"Uh…it's okay, Mox. I really don't need it," Maggie tried to assure Moxxie, but he was determined now.

"Oh no, Maggie, I am winning you that thing. It's now about the principle. I. Will. Win. This," Moxxie seethed, and he continued to try.

Millie and Maggie watched as Moxxie lost more and more money, and they looked at each other.

"Wow! Man, you're really starting to make this sad. Y'know, if you suck, you suck! Guess you won't win your honey here a prize.." the carnie teased.

"Uhhhh…" Maggie was caught off guard, and Millie took the gun.

"Let me try!" she exclaimed, and she shot it.

She missed the target completely, but the carnie smirked. He stepped on a button that would trigger the target to go down. This enraged Maggie and Moxxie.

"Are you kidding me?! You-you-you charlatan!" Moxxie yelled.

"Hey, uh, get lost, pipsqueak. I'm talkin' to the lady," the carnie said, pushing away Moxxie and purring seductively.

Maggie hissed as she wedged herself between Millie and the carnie, "The lady is married to my brother."

The carnie did a double take, "Wait, brother?! I thought you were his other-"

"Oh GOD no!" Maggie retorted.

"Well," the carnie gave a seductive smile, "then I suppose that means you're open."

Moxxie hissed, and he pointed his actual gun at the carnie, "Don't you fucking touch her."

Unbeknownst to them, Blitzø and Robo Fizz were fighting in the background, and Blitzø was thrown into the air. He landed on the carnie as Maggie backed away to Moxxie. Moxxie put his arms around his sister protectively.

"Sir?!" Moxxie exclaimed surprisingly.

"Ohhhh…Hey, guys! You should probably go, uh, make sure Stolas is okay," Blitzø said in a daze, "I've got…some unfinished business to take care of."

The trio of imps rushed off to find the prince. They looked in multiple places before hearing him in the distance.

"Umm, I think I'm supposed to be bodyguarded right now!" Stolas called out annoyed, and Millie shot the imp that was doing a terrible job at gagging him, "Ugh, that's better. Where is Blitzy? He's my knight in shining armor, not you littler ones."

If I didn't know better, I'd say Stolas would have been completely happy if Blitzø was the only one that accompanied them. I am a bit confused, though. In some ways, it feels like this rich asshole actually likes Blitzø…maybe I'm just overanalyzing.

"He's, uhhhh…busy," Millie replied nervously, and Moxxie added with an annoyed expression, "Being a fool."

"What kind of fool?" questioned Stolas.

"The "everything is now on fire" kind," Maggie replied with an annoyed whine.

Moxxie proceeded to hand Maggie the 'thing' plushy, and her eyes lit up. She hugged the plush affectionately, and she hugged her brother.

"Thanks, Mox," she whispered.

Moxxie knew he couldn't do much for his little sister, so he tried to do what he could to make her smile. He always did since they were kids. He'd even sing her little lullabies when she was a baby and even after that. In many ways, Moxxie raised Maggie, not their father. Moxxie smiled seeing her happy over something so trivial. Millie smiled, too, but she didn't quite get the weight of their situation. Maggie's smile was just too adorable for her to take. The moment was broken when they heard commotion outside. Maggie froze up seeing the green flames.

"Stay here, Maggie!" Moxxie called out as he and Millie jumped to action.

The chaos was crazy, and nobody was spared any of it. Robo Fizz suddenly exploded, sending all four imps flying into the air. They all screamed as they landed at the entrance next to Stolas and Octavia. Maggie was the lucky one, landing on top of Moxxie, cushioning her fall.

"Way to ruin another good thing, sir," Moxxie scolded.

"Worth it!" Blitzø replied, "That slutty toy clown had. It. Comin'!"

The two then fell unconscious as a stray quieve began to pull Millie away.

For my first (and probably only) trip to Loo Loo Land, it wasn't bad. I had some good family fun with Moxxie and Millie. Somehow I managed to hold onto the thing Moxxie got me. After everyone woke up again, we brought Stolas and Via home. It was a long day, and we all needed some sleep.

I wonder what adventures await us on the horizon.

A/N: I know I technically gave some other character's lines to Maggie, but it seemed pretty fitting that she and Moxxie would share the same opinion quite a bit. I also changed it so Maggie was the one wanting the thing because it made sense for her to want it. In some ways, this was like a mother and father with their daughter sort of scenario. Maggie doesn't quite realize that yet, but she will. Oh! To answer someone's question, Maggie will have a one-sided crush on a character in the future, and that's all I'm saying there.

Leave me a review to tell me what you think! Thanks!
