3. Chapter 3

The Carousel Murders

Chapter 24th

Major Tompkins had to be sure that his merchandise was locked up for now until he was done with all of the deliveries. In his mind, he had not been able to trust anyone in the organization despite killing three from Naval Intelligence.

And now NCIS was after him as well along with Naval Intelligence and including the woman Suzanne Michaels He had been told that the woman was still alive at Greenwich hospital with security extremely heavy. Even though he was sure that he had seen the woman at the diner following him.

But he was able to take aim at someone from NCIS taking the man down hopefully dead for good. Walking out of the office with his merchandise locked up. He had to check on going back to the U.S.S. Donaldson for now. Even though the commanding officer\captain had been brought up to speed for when it comes to his personnel.

Leaving the warehouse with saying only a few words to his personnel and their orders for when it comes to the merchandise.

Doctor Jack Sloane had gotten up to remove Gibbs mask for now in order for him to try and talk to her. He had opened his eyes after hearing of her voice.

"Come on Jethro, you can do it for me with opening those eyes of yours." she made the suggestion even though Gibbs had been trying to focus with the slight fog in his eyes.

"Leave me alone, Jack." he had ordered strongly.

She had moved in closer to him with venom in her tone of voice. "NO. I Will not do so, Leroy Jethro Gibbs. Every

time I turn around you're always trying to get yourself killed in the process." she says with slight tears falling down her face.

"First of all Jack, where am I in the first place?" he had to ask her the importance of the question.

"Greenwich hospital. We believe it was Major Edison Tompkins having shot you outside the diner with you going after him as with Suzanne Michaels and her associate Maurice working for Naval Intelligence." she responded.

Trying to speak for a moment as Sloane will pour a glass of water for him to drink helping him up slightly in bed. "Take it easy Jethro with drinking the water." she advised.

Gibbs was able to drink enough of the water to help with the dryness of his throat. "Thanks!" he said softly with getting back his voice. "Has NCIS been able to track his location Sloane?"

She had placed the almost empty glass onto the table in order to answer his question.

"Yes, we believe he's heading back to the U.S.S. Donaldson to make contact with others working for the organization." she tells him with checking vitals up above for when Doctor Santini is supposed to be coming into his room soon.

"What about Michaels and the others?" he asked calmly with his question along with trying to get into a easier position in his bed only to feel uncomfortable with both his shoulder and leg.
