Silver was cleaning the windows as Sonic sped inside and out, delivering pizzas left and right as he stopped outside of the Pizza Hut, holding several boxes of fresh pizzas in his hands as it was swiftly approaching nighttime.
"How's the window cleaning?" Sonic asked as he smirked, tilting his head while tapping his left feet.
Silver shrugged as he wrapped his arms around the back of his head. "Well, I'm almost done! I just got this one spot to clean, and I can go back in to making pizzas!"
Sonic chuckled and nodded, giving Silver a thumbs up. "Well, good luck with that! I'll see you later!" And he then sped off, heading towards the northern direction.
Silver smiled, finally finishing off the spot as he headed inside, only to get flattened by several hungry Egg Pawns wanting to eat some pizza. Silver groaned in pain.
"Maybe I should just stick to making pizza." Silver muttered as he grabbed an uneaten plain pizza slice, figuring that he was doing a bit too much for his work ethic.
"Hey Silver, why are you cleaning the windows?" Cream asked while watching the hedgehog doing some business with a bit of window clean tactics.
Silver took a slice of pizza using his psychic power since he had his hands busy with the window cleaning. "Well it's to do something besides making pizzas. I know this is the main thing, but there's more to do here than make things to eat."
"But isn't the point of restaurants are for them to be dens for eating?" Amy added as she had her hands on her dress covered hips.
Silver squinted his eyes at the girls while continuing his window clean service. "Technically yes, but what's the point of just eating if everything else isn't up to shine with that?"
"...I'm lost. You're losing me." Cream said as her ears drooped.
Silver munched through the pizza slice as he used his psychic to get another, saying while eating halfway through, "Oh you'll understand when you get older."
"I fear that won't be the case even when the future arrives in the present." Amy sighed with a bit of irony in her statement as they kept watching him work.
