On the beach, Senku and Taiju were walking home when Senku stopped.

He ran over to the maiden fainted into the sand and put his lab coat over her naked form.

"She must be connected to that alert." Senku said softly. "But where did you come from?"

Kia mouthed something but no one seemed to understand—except Senku. She nodded to him.

"Sure, what the heck, I get the gist." Senku said gently to the Atlantean. "This girl says she's…Princess of Atlantis…and some mercenaries broke in and stole their power source…"

Eyes shining with excitement, Senku knelt down to look at her. "Your symbiotic? Really…and even though your personal technology was taken, you remain alive and well, escaping the water pressure and swimming here safely…"

Kia nodded mournfully.

"How do you understand her Senku?" Taiju asked. "She's not saying anything, and even what she's mouthing makes no sense."

"Well yeah, but it's a root dialect. She's doing her best at Japanese, and I can kinda fill in the blanks." Senku grinned, getting more excited by the minute. He looked down at the girl. "Huh? So that's what you want, eh?"

Before Taiju could stop him, Senku leaned down and kissed Kia. She looked healthier, and then coughed, and finally spoke. "Would…like to go… there."

Kia pointed up the mountain to what looked like a huge ugly ruin. "The Castle of Skye. I-It…It's time to see about defeating Rachelle and her mercenaries who have darkened Atlantis for so long, and raise my city to the surface. It seems, according to Senku's great mind, that this world would do with…with some light."

Taiju looked between them.

Kia bowed. "I thank you, Japan's scientist, for your incredible mental fortitude. Now I go to restore my kingdom to it's former glory."

The girl stood to her feet—and fell back down again. She looked like she had never walked before.

"What…what's wrong will this place?" Kia stumbled. "Is you gravitation and oxygenation generator malfunctional?"

Taiju could see Senku's mind whirring.

"The oxygenator keeping you breathing underwater and the anti-gravity to combat the water pressure." Senku said to Kia, who nodded. "Well its ten billion percent obvious why we dont have those. We're on top. See? That's the sky, Atlantis girl."

"The sky…the sun…" Kia had tears in her eyes. She wiped her face. "Nevertheless. I must get to Skye…"

Kia tried to get up again and Senku supported her to Taiju's surprise.

"Let me help you, princess," Senku said, his tune changed in a second. "I can get you up to the Castle of Skye, and as you noticed, my mental fortitude could be an asset. We can combat these mercenaries with the power of modern science!"

Kia gave him a loaded look. "Our science is superior to yours, S-Senku." She stumbled and then at last let him support her.

Senku wasn't dissuaded at all. "Well fill me in and I'll help you beat these guys and get Atlantis topside. I'm ten billion percent sure that we're better when we're together."

"You are very charming, scientist." Kia seemed to think on it for a moment. "Very well. You may get me to Skye. But I will choose if you are allowed to progress beyond such. You have great value Senku, and as such, I would…be sad if you died."

Senku was silent a long moment. "I promise not to die."

Kia pulled him toward the mountain. "I will think on it."

"Senku! Should I tell the authorities?" Taiju called after him.

Alarmed, Senku stopped him. "No. Don't tell anyone, cuz it could even be our own country sending guys down there. But you can tell my dad to look into it. And ya know I'll be in contact. I look forward to finding a way!" He grinned at the princess. "We're goin' to Atlantis! Get Excited!"
