Gibbs drove to the house number McGee gave him. He was the first one out of the car followed by Tony and Ziva. They approached the dor and Gibbs looked at Tony.

Tony banged on the door. "NCIS!" He shouted before kicking the door in. They spread out in the house and one after another, shouted that the area aa clear.

Tony entered a room as he put his weapon away. "Boss...You need to look at this."

Gibbs approached the room and looked around. There were pictures of the team on a desk with both McGee and Gibbs circled.

"What does this mean?" Tong asked.

"It means he's just getting started."

"You think he has something else planned?"

Gibbs said nothing and turned around to walk out of the room. His phohe rang.

"Yeah. Gibbs."

"Boss, somethinb doesn't feel right."

"What do ya mean McGee?"

"I don't know. But I think you should get out of there. I think it a trap."

"Boss, this place is rigged to explode!" Tony said as he madd his way ovef to Gibbs.

"Everybody out. Now!"

A few seconds later, the house exploded...

"Hello?" Tim said with worry. "Boss?" There was no response. "Gibbs!"

"Stop shouting. I'm here." He heard Gibbs say.

Tim let out a sigh of relief. "Is everyone okay?"

"Yeah. Everyone's fine. Few scrapes and bruises. Looks like your feeling was right. Listen, he might come after you again."

What makes you so sure?"

"Just a hunch. Stay at the navy yard. I'm going to have Tony stay with you for a while."

"But--"

"No arguments."

"I can take care of myself."

"I know."

"Alright fine. I'll wait here. But know, I'm doing it reluctantly. "

"I would expect nothing less."

He hung up the phone and turned to Abby.

"They're fine."

"I know. I could hear Gibbs on the other line. So...Tony gets to be your babysitter." She smiled.

"For the record, he's not my babysitter. Gibbs is just a little overprotective."

"Ya think?"

That night, everyone gad gone home. Tony drove McGee back to his place while telling him the story on how the house they were at blew up. Tim wasn't really listening to the story as his mind was elsewhere. He realized he was just talkingbto himself.

"What's the matter McGee? You haven't listened to a word I said."

McGee looked over at him and sighed. "For a moment today, I thought I lost all of you."

"You were werried about us." Tony said with a smile.

"Yes I was and I'm not afraid to admit it. I'm not the only one. Abby was too."

"Well yeah. I'd expect that from her but not you." He said laughing.

"Its not funny Tony. You could've died."

Tony parked his car at McGee's house and looked over at him. "I didn't. We made it out on time."

"I see that."

"So stop worrying."

McGee nodded and opened the car door followed hy Tony getting out as well.

"What are you doing?" McGee asked.

"I'm staying the night. Remember? "

McGee sighed. "Look, I know Gibbs told you to look after me but I dont think this is what he meant. I'm perfectly safe in my home."

"This is what he meant McGee. If you don't like it, take it up to him."

"I will." He walked up to his front door and Tony took the keys from him. "Hey." He said.

"I'm just checking things out McGee."

"Tony, I'm armed. I think I can handle myself. Now, give me my keys."

"No." Tony said bluntly.

"Don't make me fight you."

"Just let me do my job McCranky. Gibbs wants you alive tomorrow."

McGee rolled his eyes and stepped aside so Tony could open the door. He was the first one in and slowly looked around. McGee followed close behind him with his hand on his weapon.

"Okay. Its clear." Tony said.

"Does ths mean you can go home and leave me alone?"

"That's a negative Probie. Your stuck with me."
