The Patience Of A Teacher Part 3
Lisa was giving an apple to Diablo.
When she saw a message written in the sky.
The message read: RALLY MAX AND DEBORAH.
"I must go now, Diablo!" Lisa called.
Over at Max and Deborah's, Carole was pacing the floor while Gaby sat on the floor playing with Maxine.
"Oh! Where are you, Lisa?" Carole asked.
"Don't worry, Carole," Lenni said. "I'm sure Lisa is on her way."
"You had better be right, Lenni." Carole said.
Just then, Lisa blew into Max and Deborah's front door.
"Just in time for the rally." Jamal said to Lisa.
"What did I miss while I was with Diablo?" Lisa asked.
"This totally bratty little eight-year-old girl showed up at Pine Hollow with her father, she wanted her father to purchase my beloved Sapphire for her!" Gaby said, running to Lisa, burying her face in Lisa's arms, and beginning to sob pathetically.
"Was this girl wearing a Winston Riding Institute school uniform?" Lisa asked Gaby.
"I don't know," Gaby answered Lisa. "I didn't see what she looked like because she wasn't in the ring."
"From what you told me about her, I know who you mean! Celia Baxter-Lynch," Lisa concluded. "and she does go to the WRI in the grade school building as a day student!"
"We can't let the Baxter-Lynch family tear Sapphire from Gaby!" Rob exclaimed.
"No, we can't, Rob," Lisa agreed. "and we won't."
That night at the Lake residence, Lisa and Stevie were already in their sleepwear.
