To those who are wondering why I am writing this fic, it's to fill in the blanks of the main story to Master Xehanort gathering the Princesses of Heart since Maleficent has done so in the original game, just as Organization XIII were to be 13 vessels for Master Xehanort since it's connected to the X-blade and to Kingdom Hearts itself. I mean, I just wanted to avoid some questions that can and will come up when they'll think that there are 13 vessels of darkness and not 7 hearts of light. Also, Pikachu isn't the only Pokemon with Sora and Kairi. There's also Angel the Eevee or did you forget it. And if you did, then you need to go sit in the corner for a few days. Also, Pikachu and Angel are fighting along with their partners. Did you skip several chapters or something? Next time, get the facts straight before you start pointing things out. Anyway, I said what I needed to say. Also, no haters allowed.
After beating Ripper Roo, Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel have come down from the waterfall and explored a bit, keeping an eye out for some Heartless. But there were some monkeys throwing some figs at the dopey bandicoot.
"Ouch!" Crash yelped. He rubbed his rear-end as they kept going.
A little while later, they stumbled on what looks like an old temple. The temple had portions of the wall that kept on moving back and forth. There were times that bats came flying down, so Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel had to duck their heads down to avoid the bats.
There were also Shadows, Jungle Soldiers, Powerwilds, Bouncywilds that appeared and attacked them. They dealt with the Heartless as they attacked.
They entered the ruins of another temple and went through a series of traps such as spears coming out the walls, snakes in the floor, and moving pillars. Bats even flew down at times.
"Ouch!" Crash yelped. He rubbed his rear-end as they kept going.
They were being watched by a pair of green anthropomorphic Komodo dragons with blue-green brow ridges and spiny tails. They each wore small spiked Ottoman-styled helmets, indigo Arab shemaghs, purple robes with yellow scalloped patterns along the hems, and plain white undershirts. One is thin and tall, and has a long snout with two protruding fangs at the end. He also has three-toed feet. The other one is a heavyset character with a short nose and a large underbite. He also has a small beard and two-toed feet.
"There they are, Moe. Those are the kids we were told about," the skinny Komodo dragon said.
"They don't look so tough to me, Joe. Tiny, Ripper Roo, and Dingodile had to be weak if they lost to those two, and those bandicoots," the fat Komodo dragon said.
"They will not be any match for the swordsman skills of the Komodo Brothers," Komodo Joe said.
"No, they won't," Komodo Moe agreed. "We must give them a proper greeting."
With that said, the Komodo Brothers left the place they were watching their targets and waited for them to arrive.
Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel have left the bridge and entered the jungle once again, only for a scimitar flying and impaling the ground in front of them.
"Where did that come from?" Kairi asked.
"From us," a pair of voices said. That was when the Komodo Brothers jumped out and held their scimitars in one hand.
"And you would be?" Sora asked.
"My name is Komodo Joe," Komodo Joe introduced himself.
"And I am Komodo Moe," Komodo Moe introduced himself.
"We are the Komodo Brothers!" The Komodo Brothers said in unison.
"Dr. Cortex has ordered us to eliminate you in order to prevent you from finding the Keyhole," Komodo Moe said.
"So we don't intend to let you leave this jungle alive," Komodo Joe said.
"Great. More of Cortex's goons to come after us," Sora deadpanned.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Looks like we got us another fight on our hands," Kairi said as she and Sora summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Komodo Brothers. Komodo Moe spins Komodo Joe around like a top as Komodo Moe threw several scimitars at their targets. Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt, shocking the slim Komodo dragon. Komodo Joe growled as he glared at Pikachu.
"Take this, you little yellow rat!" Komodo Joe hissed as he swung his scimitar at Pikachu, but he blocked. Sora came to his partner's rescue by swinging his Keyblade and they clashed weapons against one another. Crash attempts to do some karate moves against the chubby Komodo dragon, but it fails to intimidate him. So Komodo Moe swings his scimitar at Crash around. Crash just scoffed, telling him that the sword didn't even touch him, but his pants were cut into ribbons, revealing his white boxers with hearts. Crash covers himself, embarrassed by the boxers. Angel fired a Swift, hitting Komodo Moe as Kairi came at him, but he blocked with his scimitar.
"Not bad for a girl! But you're no match for me!" Komodo Moe said.
"Don't be quick to underestimate me just because I'm a girl," Kairi said, casting a blizzard spell, hitting him.
"Brr!" Komodo Moe shivered. Kairi casts another blizzard spell at Komodo Joe, freezing him.
"It's cold! I hate the cold!" Komodo Joe shivered. The ice broke as they came at them again, but Coco gave Komodo Joe a kick as Komodo Moe came at Sora, but he blocked with his Keyblade and pushed him back. Crash came back in the fray with a new pair of pants and he gave Komodo Joe a spinning kick, sending Komodo Joe rolling and hitting Komodo Moe, knocking them out.
"We lost..." Komodo Moe started.
"...to some kids," Komodo Joe finished.
"It looks like Cortex is gonna run out of goons if this keeps up," Sora said.
"I agree. The Komodo Brothers were formidable opponents, but there are still others to deal with," Aku Aku said.
"Aku Aku is right. Cortex won't give up that easily. We gotta reach his castle and stop his plans soon," Kairi said. Everyone agreed with her.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel continued on their way through the jungle, only to be chased by a giant rolling boulder. They managed to escape the rolling boulder and right into a volcanic area. Crash began to sweat heavily. Pikachu was also sweating.
"I agree. I must have been asleep longer than I thought if I have led us here in a volcanic are-" Aku Aku paused. "What is that?" They saw what looks like a mining operation. They saw some mutated animals, mining some gems. Many of them are white, while there are some red, blue, orange, yellow, purple, and green gems.
"Someone digging for jewels," Sora said.
"Yeah, and I think that someone is Cortex. Those animals must be failed experiments," Coco said.
"Why do you say that?" Kairi asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
"Well, the thing is, Dr. Cortex obviously used his Evo Ray on them, but they take too well to it, so he has them working in the mines," Coco said.
"Just because they're rejects doesn't mean that they'l help us out. They might sound the alarm if they see us," Sora pointed out.
"Sora's right. We could just walk past them. They'll be so busy, they won't even notice us," Coco said.
"We must make haste before any one of them sees us," Aku Aku said. They kept on walking through the volcanic mine, avoiding attention. They made it to a river of lava next to a railway. Mine carts came sliding down, full of coal when Heartless suddenly appeared. The Heartless were Hammer Frames, Driller Moles, Torxes, and Jack Breakers.
"Heartless!" Kairi exclaimed.
"Eevee!" Angel growled.
Sora and Kairi summoned their Keyblades and engaged the Heartless. The Hammer Frames slammed their heads on the ground, creating a shock wave. Pikachu unleashed a Thunderbolt, shocking the Torxes and Jack Breakers as Eevee fired Swift at the Driller Moles. Crash and Coco spins right into the Hammer Frames as Sora and Kairi struck down a couple of Jack Breakers. Pikachu lands an Iron Tail on a Driller Mole as Angel headbutts a Torx. They fought the Heartless until the last Torx was destroyed. Suddenly a roar is heard from somewhere not too far away.
"Crash, that's not your stomach, is it?" Sora asked. Crash just shrugged his shoulders. Something came stomping down, making the ground shake.
Across from them is a gray anthropomorphic koala with a heavily muscular upper body and thin legs. He has small eyes, a black nose, round black ears with pink insides, and virtually no neck. He wears a red sleeveless top with long mustard-colored pants. He wore spiked black wrist cuffs, as well as a spiked black belt with a skull symbol on the front in place of his rope. The koala gave off a loud roar.
"Koala Kong?" Coco asked.
"You know him?" Kairi asked.
"Vee?" Angel asked.
"Yeah, he's one of those animals who takes pride in his mucsles and physical appearance. Also, he has a bit of a speech impediment. It happened after Cortex altered him," Coco said.
"Great, just what we need, another muscle headed enemy," Kairi deadpanned.
Koala Kong started to do some flexes, boasting about them. He does the dancing pecs. He even flexes his buttcheeks.
"Wow. I thought that only happened in the movies," Sora said. He took out a Pokéball. But he's not the only one with muscles to show off! Machamp! Go!" His Pokéball opened Machamp emerged from inside, flexing his muscles. Koala Kong felt that there was some competition with the Superpower Pokémon, so he does some flexes of his own. "Your muscles are better than that guy's, and you're gonna prove it!"
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu called out.
"Wow. I had no idea you had something like that with you," Coco said.
"You'd be surprised, Coco," Sora said. He turned back to Machamp. "Okay, Machamp! Do your stuff!" Machamp shows off his muscles as Koala Kong was also showing off his muscles. Machamp was doing it at a faster pace than the koala until he got tired. Frustrated and having enough, Koala Kong roared. "That definitely set him off." Crash nodded with agreement as Koala Kong threw a boulder at them, but Sora summoned his Keyblade and swings it back like a baseball bat and it hits him on the mark.
"Nice one, Sora!" Coco said.
Koala Kong roared as he pounds his chest like a gorilla. He threw more boulders at them. They were coming too fast for Sora to bat them back, but one is at the edge, so Crash spins and sends it back at Koala Kong, hitting him.
Koala Kong threw more boulders at them as Sora, Kairi, Crash, and Coco kept sending the boulders back at Koala Kong. Sora and Crash sent one more at Koala Kong, hitting him. Angered, he jumped on the railway, pounding on his chest again. He gave out another roar as a cart came and took him in it, sending it down the mine.
"Well, that's another one dealt with," Sora said.
"Yeah. Let's go before we get any more surprises," Coco said.
They leave the volcanic mine and head for the next island. This island had a building with smoking pipes, indicating a power plant. What could be awaiting for Sora, Kairi, Crash, Coco, Aku Aku, Pikachu, and Angel next? Find out when we continue on.
