Sarah had devised a plan to get Kiara and JJ together. Phase 1, get Kiara to admit she loves JJ.
"Damnit" Sarah says as she pops another balloon, "ok you put the banners up I'll do the balloons" Kiara says pushing Sarah aside. "Soo have you talked to JJ?" Sarah asks and Kiara sighs "can't get ahold of him." "Well he's probably busy trying to get Big John" Sarah says and Kiara nods then smiles a smile Sarah has never seen, "what's that smile?" Sarah asks, "just remembered something" "tell me" Sarah comes and sits next to her, "well when we were on the island me and him would sneak off when we couldn't sleep and just talk for hours." Sarah looks at her best friend fondly, "I've never seen you so smitten" Kiara blushes and says "that's what love does" got her. "Did j just say that out loud" Kiara says "yeah. I can't believe you actually admitted it I thought it would be harder than that" Kiara eyes her curiously, "what are you up to?" "Nothing…" Kiara stands up "I do not need you meddling in my love life" Kiara says hands on her hips, "more like lack of love life" Kiara (lightly) slaps Sarah in the arm, "what! Ok do you think without a little meddling that you and JJ can be together" Kiara nods "yes! If it's meant to be then it's meant to be" Sarah groans "bu-" "nope no meddling" Kiara says and ends the conversation saying "now go put up the banners"
JJ's phone is going crazy, he read the messages from Sarah, princess: you need to get over yourself and ask Kiara out. She's not going to do it because she doesn't want to push you he sighs and reads the next message from Kiara Kie: hey can we talk? Kie: ignore Sarah she's meddling he laughs at that last text, he responds to Kiara saying 'k' probably not the best response then he texts Sarah saying 'Kiara said to ignore you' then turns his phone off and goes back to John B.
(At the anniversary party)
Kiara sees John B walk up to her "JJ said meet him in the back" then he heads over to Sarah, Kiara smiles and walks to the back of the building.
"Hey jayge" Kiara says when she spots him, "hey kie." He smiles when he sees her, "so you wanted to talk to me?" She sighs "yeah I've wanted to talk for a while. We need to talk" she takes a step towards him and he backs up, "JJ.." "look that's not what matters right now" Kiara begins to get angry "why do you do that?" "Do what" "act like you don't care! Like I don't care! Like I love you dude" "what? Uh thanks" he takes a step towards her and her breathing is becoming uneven "look, it's never gonna work. I'm sorry. Oh and I'm not sorry about the money clip" he walks away and Kiara feels tears streaming down her face as she walks back to the party, she's trying to get to the bathroom, she walks by Sarah "whoa Kie what's wrong!" She says stopping Kiara, "I'm fine" Kiara's voice cracks "no your not" Kiara is trying her hardest to not breakdown in front of everyone "I just need to go" Kiara pushes past her and her mom sees her and goes after her.
As soon as Kiara gets into the bathroom she collapses and sobs, her mother walks into the bathroom and sees her daughter and holds her as she cries. Once her sobs subside her mom Says "want to talk about it!" Kiara wanted to say 'not with you' but bit her tounge and shakes her head no, "ok. I haft to go back to the party but you will
Be okay" "yeah I just need a minute" after a moment she gets up and walks over to Sarah and John B, "hey Kie you good?" John B asks "yeah. Just next time you see JJ tell him to shove it" Kiara walks away. She felt much better after that.
"Uhhh" John B says when Kiara walks away, "what did the idiot do" Sarah says "I don't know! All I know is he said he needed to talk to her" Sarah sighs "he's probably on the HSM Pouge" John B says "I'll be back" Sarah says and walks away.
Sarah walks towards JJ and when she reaches him she puts her hands on her hips "what did you do" "what?" "Why did Kiara just tell John B to tell you to shove it" he looks down at the ground guilty look on his face, Sarah sighs "look JJ. You can be the guy who runs away. You can. But will anyone stick around for that guy" JJ sighs "now you can change I know you can" "how" he asks tears pooling in his eyes "apologize to Kiara and tell her how you feel. After everything we have been through it is not worth the risk of not telling the people we love that we love them" JJ starts to really cry and Sarah holds him, "you know your like a brother to me" Sarah says "and your my sister" JJ says hugging her back.
(So since the whole John B almost killing topper thing didn't happen and I also don't want to write the whole episode sooooo I'm just gonna write when the are at the chateau which will not burn down.)
Kiara is strumming on her Ukulele when JJ comes up to her, "hey can we talk outside" he asks and she nods putting her ukulele down and following him out.
"So." She says and he takes a deep breath "I'm sorry about yesterday it was uncalled for and I'm sorry about the money clip that wasn't very cool of me" he sees a hint of a smile on her face, "and" he takes a step towards her then another, they are inches apart, "I am not running away anymore" he says in a whisper leaning in, "I love you" she says staring at his blue eyes, "I love you too" he says in a whisper closing the gap between them and kissing her sweetly, "wooooo" they hear and pull apart, "about damn time!" Sarah says walking towards them. "What are you doing outside" JJ asks "I left my phone out here" she points to her phone sitting on the chair, "alright I'll leave you to alone" she goes to turn when JJ says "hey Sarah! Thanks" she smiles at him "always big bro" he smiles at her and she walks away, "big bro?" Kiara asks smiling "it's nothing" he says and goes back to kissing Kiara.
(So the whole kitty hawk thing happened except for JJ apologizing and it being their first kiss but they will kiss out of relief of course.)
After everything.
They sit on the plane, "what are we gonna do with so much money" JJ asks Kiara, she smiles and says "surf trip?"
