[A/N: Sorry for such a late chapter.]

August 16th 2009:

Aureate flecks of tremendous energy flooded the cold atmosphere of the gargantuan city. Naruto Uzumaki blurred across the streets in an indiscernible distortion. Nonchalance covered his whiskered face.

Atlas reached his muscled hand out for Naruto's neck, bulging his muscles and clicking his teeth in psychotic excitement. Front-kicking him straight in the chin, Naruto hurtled Atlas high into the night-sky.

Bending his knees, Naruto followed the titan of endurance from below. A chakra-arm sprouted out from Naruto's shoulder, gathering molecules of luminous lava onto its yellow palm. "Rasenshuriken..."

The Lava-Style: Rasenshuriken produced a strident screech of destruction—but Atlas whirled himself around mid-air. Creating himself an enormous claw of divine-energy, Atlas flicked it downwards.

An explosion of divine-energy, chakra, and lava was generated before Atlas and Naruto were propelled into two different sky-scrapers. Wrenching himself out from some rubble, Naruto grunted in irritation.

"His regeneration is the biggest obstacle in this fight." Naruto pondered to himself, annoyed. "His healing-factor is pretty good."

Molecules of potent chakra flickered on the top of Naruto's calloused palm and transmuted themselves into a Magnet-Style: Rasengan. Atlas wrested himself out from the sky-scraper he had obliterated.

Remaining immobile, Naruto squinted his eyes when Atlas appeared in front of him in a vicious flash of incredible speed. Raising his arm, Naruto drilled the Magnet-Style: Rasengan into Atlas' sternum.

Atlas had been paralyzed by the effects of the Magnet-Style: Rasengan. Impressed, he managed to grin at Naruto and chuckle. "I suppose you still had more techniques up that sleeve of yours…"

A powerful punch was launched right into Atlas' nose. Golden blood streamed out from his nostrils until a roundhouse kick embedded itself into his hip. Naruto elbowed and kicked Atlas in the solar-plexus.

The paralysis from the Magnet-Style: Rasengan faded once another two minutes had passed. Naruto's face was grabbed by a hand. Atlas threw Naruto down into the ground, forming the deepest of craters.

Prying Atlas' hand off from his face, Naruto head-butted the titan of endurance in the nose and impelled Atlas out of the massive crater. Jumping into the air, Naruto tackled Atlas into seven buildings.

Throwing Atlas into a pile of destroyed materials from the sky-scrapers they had eradicated, Naruto back-flipped onto the ground. His senses flared at him to move. Instead, Naruto caught Atlas' ruthless punch.

"What monstrous reflexes." Atlas touched the fingers of his other hand onto his chin. "He keeps proving to me why he is a formidable enemy!"

Naruto ingrained a knee into the depths of Atlas' stomach, punched his fore-head, and kicked his chin. Atlas endured Naruto's assault, slamming an elbow into his right cheek.

Aureate knuckles smacked themselves into Atlas' chin. The titan spat out a puddle of blood while Naruto summoned a Rasengan. Atlas raised an unbothered eye-brow. "What is this boy planning?"

Two duplicates of his opponent appeared behind him. Atlas aimed both of his fists at their chests—but was stopped and kicked upwards. Naruto buried his Rasengan into Atlas: who was exhilarated.

An unmatched burst of chakra was created from the Rasengan and catapulted Atlas into the concrete of an unoccupied sector. Clenching his fists in excitement, Atlas emerged from the large hole in the road.

Naruto tilted his head without a single sign of concern whatsoever. "I'm sure I'll be able to get him to deactivate his divine form."

Atlas and Naruto were somewhat exhausted from their battle of unbelievable proportions. Muscles tensed, the titan of endurance blurred forward. Naruto vanished within a golden outline of speed.

Fists collided against elbows in untraceable distortions of movement. Naruto redirected Atlas' front-kick to the left. Blocking off his thirtieth right-hook, the Uzumaki bashed his fore-arm into Atlas' neck.

Sonic-booms of unparalleled intensity filled the ears of every single individual inside the enormous city. Naruto engraved his luminous fist into Atlas' face. Crashing into a random building, Atlas laughed in joy.

Atlas walked out from the rubble, rolling his shoulders. "I doubt I can maintain my divine-form for much longer. Naruto Uzumaki…"

Concentrating on Naruto and grinning, Atlas broke out into a sprint and hurtled himself forward. An insane shout of aggression streamed into Naruto's ear-drums. "I can't believe you pushed me to my limits!"

Naruto's head snapped backwards at a harmful angle as Atlas pressed his knuckles deep into it. Naruto lashed his leg out and axe-kicked the top of Atlas' head. The entire city shuddered.

Atlas stumbled backwards and Naruto drilled a kick into the temple of his head. Enduring the attack, Atlas materialized obsidian-coloured claws of average size around his hands. Naruto stretched a hand out.

A Giant-Rasengan constructed itself onto Naruto's coarse palm. Atlas disappeared. Naruto sensed a divine presence behind him. The Giant-Rasengan cleaved the claw into black particles of energy.

Dispelling his Giant-Rasengan, Naruto grabbed Atlas by the collar and slammed him against the wall of a grocery-store. Atlas gripped onto Naruto's wrist, twisted it, grunted, and flung Naruto into the sky.

An unimaginable crater of perpetual depth was produced in the ground as Atlas jumped into the air. Naruto's abdomen was kicked. The Uzumaki flew across the city at an unnatural speed.

Naruto clutched onto a lamp-pole bolted into the side-walk, flung himself towards Atlas, and shoved his chakra-enhanced shoulder into him. The two of them were hurled forward in the same direction.

Rolling downwards into a pile of rubble for the umpteenth time, Naruto let loose a sigh of unadulterated irritation. Rising from the rubble, he glanced at the end of the road. Atlas had a wide grin on his visage.

Lifting a single fore-arm to block off a merciless punch from his foe, Naruto leaned himself back and roundhouse kicked Atlas in the hip. Atlas flicked a multitude of punches into Naruto's chest.

Naruto parried all of these vicious punches before chakra erupted onto his palm in the shape of a Wind-Style: Rasenshuriken. Embedding the Jutsu into Atlas, Naruto watched him fly backwards into a sky-scraper.

Annabeth Chase and Percy Jackson were slammed into several trucks by a blood-thirsty Kronos: who had a bored expression on his pale features. Luke Castellan viewed this battle from a safe distance.

Water gushed out from underneath Kronos—but it was slashed by a golden scythe. Gazing at Percy in blatant amusement, Kronos chuckled. "Would you tell me your weak-spot so I can kill you?"

Percy pushed himself out from the scraps of metal from the damaged truck he had been thrown into and scoffed. Riptide glinted a baleful bronze beneath the influence of the starlight. "I'm good, thanks."

Dragging herself out of the heaps of metal and iron around her, Annabeth released deep breaths of exhaustion from her mouth. She pulled out a rune-covered dagger from nowhere. "Let's end this…"

The son of the seas and the daughter of wisdom disappeared in untraceable outlines of agility. Blocking a vicious slash from Riptide, Kronos drove the bottom of his foot into Percy's abdomen.

A Time-Slice was embedded into Annabeth, opening a thin gash on the midsection of her body. Annabeth dove at Kronos, aiming a slash for his neck until she was drop-kicked on the shoulder. "Damnit…"

The heel of Percy's foot sank itself into Kronos and knocked him back. Colliding into a motor-bike parked next to a car, Kronos picked his scythe from the ground and laughed. "What a pathetic kick!"

Another Time-Slice found itself being slashed at Annabeth. More blood leaked out from her already deep wound. Annabeth coughed in concealed pain. "He used this technique to break Charles' knife…"

Percy and Annabeth lunged towards Kronos. Grinning in psychotic pleasure, Kronos batted Riptide into a car. Backhanding Annabeth, the titan of time hummed. "You two are formidable warriors, I must say!"

Sinking into the wall of an alleyway, Annabeth groaned in unconcealed agony. The thin laceration on her midsection increased its size and width. She clicked her tongue. "We have to remove the curse from him!"

"Oh?" Kronos noticed Annabeth engraved into the wall. Amusement danced in the golden pits of his gaze. "Her durability is commendable!"

Molecules of an obsidian aura oozed out from the tips of Kronos' pale fingers. Kronos bounded at Annabeth in a blur of agility, extending his hand out to crush her exposed neck and end her life once and for all.

Clapping his palms into each other and grinding his teeth, Percy controlled the water from the sewage-system underneath him. The concrete trembled for three seconds. Water erupted forth from below.

Kronos called for a magical-dome around himself—but he wasn't fast enough to stop the hurricane of water from consuming him whole. Teeth gritted in unmatched concentration, Percy closed his iridescent eyes.

The tornado of endless water morphed itself into a dragon and flew straight into the wall of a somewhat destroyed restaurant. Huffing to himself, Percy touched the sweat coated onto his fore-head.

An unharmed Kronos meandered out of the remains of the obliterated restaurant, cracking his neck and cackling in insane elation. Golden eyes glistened without a hint of fear. "Such awe-inspiring power!"

Percy clenched his fists, covered his knuckles in a layer of hardened water, gandered at Luke, let out a short grunt, meandered forward, and shot the deadliest of punches into an immobile Kronos' face.

Annabeth had accessed her mana to heal her injuries and watched Kronos stumble backwards, wobbling against the locked door of a car. Laughter erupted from Kronos' mouth. "Your strength is impressive!"

Rubbing his undamaged nose, Kronos chortled. "Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase! Truly—you two are demi-gods worthy of praise!"

A jab to the jaw flung Kronos back. Percy upper-cut his chin, head-butted his sternum, elbowed his abdomen, punched his nose, and roundhouse kicked his solar-plexus. Kronos grinned in delight.

Golden eyes widened in excitement, Kronos shouted. "Good, Percy Jackson, good! You are becoming more immersed in this fated fight!"

"You're such a pain in the ass!" Percy yelled in response, aggravated. "Why the hell are you so determined to take over civilization, Kronos?!"

Kronos had an unperturbed smirk of malice plastered across his pale features. "You ask me why I'm so rooted in my goal, Percy Jackson?"

Malevolence brightened Kronos' gaze of perpetual evil. "I've told you once, demi-god! I live for myself, my pleasure, and my ego!"

"To me." Kronos extended an arm out, clenching his fist in amusement. "There is nothing more important than my pleasure!"

"You're a dumbass." Percy scoffed. "Who gives a shit about your pleasure? Millions of people will die if you reclaim civilization!"

The lord of time shrugged in agreement. "Indeed, millions of pathetic mortals will perish once I reclaim my throne. You are my last hurdle…"

Teeth clenched his righteous ferocity, Percy replied. "You won't be able to beat me, Kronos. I'll be the one to stop you, no matter what."

"Is that so, Percy Jackson?" Kronos lifted an obsidian eye-brow, humour evident in his smooth voice. "I doubt you can stop me…"

"I have to remove the curse from Kronos somehow." The child of the ocean pondered in his mind. "Kronos destroyed that knife, though."

There was no value in prolonging the battle between himself and Kronos—Percy realized this in a bout of deep contemplation. Society depended on him. He refused to bow down to the titan of time.

Annabeth was recuperating from her wounds from Kronos' onslaught of attacks on her. Even Luke was rather exhausted, covered in bruises and blood. Kronos and Percy's invulnerability kept them undamaged.

"What to do?" Percy groused in his head, annoyance instilled into his thoughts. "What the hell can I do against Kronos to defeat him?"

Leo Valdez stayed seated on the leather-padded surface of a decorative wooden-chair. Most of his popcorn had been eaten. Folding his arms, he peered at the night-sky and observed Naruto's battle.

The one who had the upper-hand in this fight was Naruto—that was an indisputable fact everyone who had been watching the battle acknowledged. Golden eyes glowed in aggression and excitement.

"Massive-Rasengan-Barrage!" Naruto unleashed multiple gigantic spheres upon the titan of endurance. "Come on, you damn bastard!"

Twisting himself out of the range of the Massive-Rasengan-Barrage, Atlas conjured himself a pair of aureate gauntlets. Naruto created a Giant-Rasengan, destroying the gauntlets and propelling Atlas back.

They disappeared into the distance as they punched the other in the face, stomach, chest, nose, and neck. Chewing on the last vestiges of his scrumptious popcorn, Leo whistled. "Naruto's a devil in a battle!"

"Indeed." Concern adorned Charles Beckendorf's course face. "I wonder how Percy and Annabeth are faring against Kronos and Luke."

Leo glanced at his half-brother. "Percy and Annabeth will be fine! The real ones you should be concerned about are Kronos and Luke!"

"I suppose you are right, Leo." Charles smiled, patted Leo on the shoulder, and nodded. "I'll check up on you later, don't leave."

Shaking his head, Charles ignored how Leo waved his calloused hand around in the cold air of the war-stricken city and walked forward until he was stopped by Nico Di Angelo: who was irritated and anxious.

"Can we talk somewhere private, Charles?"

Without even waiting for a response, Nico gripped Charles by the shoulder and teleported the two of them into a back-water alleyway. The son of Hephaestus had a confused countenance. "Nico?"

"Is it possible you can create another one of those knives?" Nico asked, a blunt inflection in his tone. "I linked a ghost to Percy to watch over him."

A somewhat nauseous rictus blemished Nico's pale complexion. "Kronos has superiority over Percy and Annabeth right now."

Charles lurched forward, suppressing the urge to shake Nico for answers. "Are they alright? Has Kronos beaten Percy, Nico?!"

"No." Nico scowled in frustration, rotating the ring on his middle finger. "We have to remove the Curse-Of-Achilles from Kronos, Charles."

"I guess we have no other option, then." Charles crossed his arms, letting loose a small sigh. "We'll have to fall on my contingency."

The son of Hades' eye-brows raised themselves, frustrated. "And what the hell is this so-called contingency of yours? We can't waste time."

Charles took in a deep breath of intensity. "The Hecate-Cabin and I constructed two knives capable of weakening the Curse-Of-Achilles."

"I used one of the knives to weaken the Curse-Of-Achilles Luke had." He explained. "But Kronos destroyed the knife I had used on Luke."

"Where the hell is the other one, then?" Impatience brimmed within Nico's vigilant voice. "I already told you we're wasting time."

"I gave it to the one person who I was sure would keep it safe." A calm smile adorned Charles' rugged features. "It's more Kunai than knife."

"You crazy bastard." Nico lowered his head to conceal his blatant astonishment. "You gave the other weapon to Naruto Uzumaki…?"

(-)

A ruthless upper-cut to the chin from Naruto propelled Atlas high into the clouds of the beautiful obsidian-accentuated skies. Tackling him mid-air, Naruto grabbed Atlas' neck and drilled him against a statue.

The enormous statue shattered into rubble before Naruto extended a golden chakra-arm out from his shoulder, a Rasengan on its luminescent palm. Black tendrils of aura escaped Atlas' sternum.

Slamming his Rasengan into the ebony tendrils of divine power, Naruto threw Atlas up and planted the heel of his foot into the titan of endurance's nose. Atlas tumbled across the air and into a sky-scraper.

"I must admit this to myself." A ginormous grin of realization was plastered on Atlas' pale face. "But this child really is a formidable foe!"

All Atlas could see in front of himself was the golden-eyed demon that Naruto was—a monster of incredible strength and prowess. Excitement bubbled forth from the depths of Atlas' battle-lusted mind.

However, Atlas was no slouch himself in the power department. Releasing a hellish scream of demented pleasure, Atlas increased the intensity of his divine form and covered his fists in even more energy.

"I think we're entering the last round of this battle, Kurama." Naruto spoke to his most trusted partner. "Boil-Release: Unrivalled-Strength!"

A multitude of physical blows were exchanged by the two warriors. Drilling the meanest of left-hooks into Atlas' cheek, Naruto let loose an explosion of chakra and hurtled him countless metres backwards.

Crashing through and annihilating twenty more buildings, Atlas produced a black tendril and hooked it around a lamp-pole to slow his descent to the ground. Naruto and him landed on the same street.

Summoning a golden spear and shouldering it, the titan of endurance chuckled. "I must say those techniques you use are powerful."

"Thanks." Naruto entered the stance of an unhinged martial-artist. "Did you hear about Prometheus being defeated earlier by the furball?"

"Prometheus?" Atlas tilted his head at the unexpected mention of his brother. "I did sense his presence fading—but I was preoccupied by a task given to me by my lord."

"You told me you only care about serving Kronos and fighting strong foes." Naruto grunted. "Don't you have any other damn hobbies?"

Amusement twinkled in the merciless depths of Atlas' obsidian gaze. "I can't say I do. Violence, death, and pleasure are all I care about."

Naruto lifted his fore-arm to block off the tip of Atlas' somewhat durable spear. "I was expecting something more from you."

A Giant-Rasengan was created by Naruto and generated an enormous discharge of chakra throughout the area. Stumbling backwards, Atlas laughed as he was punched in the abdomen.

"You expected something more from me, eh?" Atlas twirled his spear, imbuing divine-energy into his weapon. "I'm sorry to disappoint you!"

Earlier on in their battle, Naruto had searched himself for a Kunai and found none. Rummaging through his unchecked pocket, he was surprised to find some kind of cube. An eye-brow was raised.

"What the hell is this?" Jumping onto a random roof-top, Naruto inspected the unique cube. "Wait a second…Charles gave me this."

"I forgot about this weird cube." Naruto tapped the sigil painted into the cuboid object and transformed it into a Kunai. "I guess I'll use this!"

The Kunai was painted crimson and had golden lines carved into it that glowed when it was touched and enhanced by Naruto's chakra. Ascending into the air, Atlas roundhouse kicked Naruto's head.

Grunting in annoyance and being slammed against a wall, Naruto wrenched himself out of it before vanishing in an aureate flash of incomprehensible speed. Atlas was met by a ruthless knee to the chin.

A spear launched itself at Naruto: who used his brand new Kunai to deflect the weapon and shatter it into shards of metal. Strange sensations prickled in the hand Naruto held the Kunai in. "Huh?"

"That Kunai of yours." Atlas spoke up, fascination engraved into his voice. "I can sense traces of a forbidden magic within its material."

"Forbidden?" Naruto—himself—detected a foreign mana inside of the Kunai Charles and the Hecate-Cabin had forged. "Eh, whatever."

Striking a brutal palm into Naruto's right cheek and drawing out globs of blood from his mouth, Atlas raised an arm to parry a front-kick. Grinning, Naruto whirled around and elbowed Atlas right in the gut.

Specks of golden blood were ejected from Atlas' lips. Another elbow drove itself into his solar-plexus. Atlas grunted and coughed out more and more blood. Excitement was evident in his ebony-tinted eyes.

Aureate irises gandered down at Atlas until Naruto was head-butted in the nose. Summoning two spears, Atlas engaged Naruto in a battle of weaponry. Holding onto his Kunai, Naruto rushed forth into the fight.

The two of them moved in a discordant rhythm of strikes, parries, slashes, and blocks. Using his speed and reflexes, Naruto deflected numerous jabs from the ends of Atlas' spear. Naruto stepped back.

Positioning himself in front of the two spears, Naruto unleashed a discharge of wind-imbued chakra from the tip of his Kunai. Atlas was blown back into the ground from the burst of chakra-empowered air.

Pulling himself out from the deepest of craters possible, Atlas climbed to his feet and healed his injuries. Standing across from him at a short distance, Naruto sighed. "You are a really irritating opponent, huh?"

"I don't care much about your twisted ideals." Naruto unleashed his full presence upon the city and widened his eyes. "We're ending this…"

(-)

Luke found himself startled when a demonic and powerful presence tickled at his senses and flooded his mind. Staggering backwards a little, he pressed a palm against a wall to stabilise his footing.

"I recognize that damn presence." Teeth grounded in true fear, Luke grabbed onto his chest. "I guess Naruto Uzumaki is ending his fight."

Even Kronos was stunned by this presence for the shortest of seconds. Morbid curiosity replaced his shock in a matter of minutes. "That blue-eyed boy truly is a monster, isn't he? How impressive."

Percy blinked his green-hued eyes in shock. "Naruto." He shook his head in amusement. "I swear that dude never runs out of tricks."

Having healed herself and mending the injuries to her organs, Annabeth dragged herself out from the hole in the wall. "What a terrifying and strong presence." She grinned. "He'll win his fight."

"Don't underestimate my subordinates." Kronos interrupted them. "The Kyuubi defeated Prometheus, yes, but Atlas is in a different league."

"I'll tell you the same." Unamused, Percy chuckled. "Don't underestimate that friend of ours. He'll keep surprising you for sure."

(-)

Leo fell from his wooden-chair at the devilish presence that penetrated the atmosphere and filled the atmosphere around him. The bag of popcorn on his lap ripped, scattering the snack onto the concrete.

"What the hell is that presence?" Leo's brown eyes were confused, amazed, and shocked. "I'm guessing Naruto's gotten a little mad!"

Nico and Charles were spat out from the shadows, appearing behind the fallen chair Leo had been sitting on moments ago. Nico smirked. "That wild dumbass is getting even more serious than earlier, eh?"

"Indeed." Charles smiled. "Why do you think he was my contingency?"

(-)

Naruto stepped towards Atlas in a much slower gait than one would expect from such a chaotic individual. Atlas was rather blindsided at the ruthless punch being embedded straight into his exposed nose.

A calloused palm was stretched out. Particles of golden chakra erupted forth and materialized into a Rasengan. Crossing his arms, Atlas chuckled. "You've had enough of this battle, I presume?"

Unfolding his arms and noticing the lack of response, Atlas laughed once again before he summoned a black claw of divine power around his hand. The Uzumaki and the titan stopped in front of each other.

"I will kill you, Naruto Uzumaki." Atlas' voice was calm, composed, and blood-thirsty. "That has been my desire ever since I battled you."

"I shall savour the moment your corpse hits the surface of this planet." Atlas declared. "I will claim superiority against you, strongest Shinobi."

Naruto remained silent and raised his hand. Atlas chortled and lifted his arm. Within three seconds, they unleashed unimaginable amounts of chakra and divine-power into their two attacks and techniques.

Shock-waves and sonic-booms of chakra and divine-energy were created from the volume of power these two monstrous individuals had leaked from their bodies. Naruto and Atlas blurred forward.

The obsidian claw and the chakra-constructed sphere clashed—enhanced by boundless amounts of energy. A gigantic, unthinkable, and overwhelming eruption of power was produced.

Bridges, statues, trees, parks, buildings, sky-scrapers, vehicles, and areas were annihilated by the exchange of attacks between the two of them. Naruto and Atlas were propelled back in the same direction.

Slamming into the concrete and being buried into a crater of inconceivable depth, Naruto grunted and rose to his feet. Deactivating Kyuubi-Chakra-Mode and Sage-Mode, he leaped out of the crater.

Blue eyes searched their immediate vicinity, ignoring whatever damage their owner had dealt to the gigantic city. The crimson barriers of the Hecate-Cabin stopped any real casualties from occurring.

A psychotic chuckle of pained amusement was gargled out of Atlas' mouth. Snapping his sapphire gaze to the source of the sound, Naruto spotted Atlas nestled against a ginormous wall of a destroyed building.

Atlas stumbled out of the crumbled wall, giving Naruto an impressed smile of demented pleasure. He clapped his hands. Naruto noticed how he no longer had enough stamina to sustain his divine form.

Even Naruto—while not as damaged, injured, and exhausted as Atlas—was feeling somewhat fatigued from their incredible clash. The Uzumaki spoke. "I'm more surprised you withstood that Rasengan."

"I suppose you would be." A second chuckle of pained humour escaped Atlas' lips. "You forget that I'm the titan of endurance."

"Whatever." Naruto cracked his neck, rolled his shoulders, and stepped forward. "My role in this war is to stop you, no matter what."

"Your role in this war, huh?" Atlas clicked his teeth, amused. "I still have enough power to battle you one last time, Naruto Uzumaki."

Their conversation was stopped as four distortions of various speeds entered the area. Luke appeared on the top of some rubble. Kronos was being pushed backwards by Annabeth and Percy both.

They all paused in their tracks at the sight of a depowered Naruto and a weakened Atlas. Kronos' golden eyes grew rather bored. "I was hoping for a different outcome in the battle between those two."

"Enough." Naruto's insouciant voice punctured the air. "One more time, Atlas. This is going to be the real end of this damn fight."

Naruto raised his muscled arm. Molecules of blue chakra buzzed on his coarse palm into a Wind-Style: Massive-Rasengan. Atlas summoned an ebony claw of divine power for the final time.

Percy grinned at Naruto, called to the water underneath him, hardened it, and created a water-crafted dome around himself and Annabeth: who watched the fight. "Who are you betting on?"

"Isn't it obvious?" Green eyes gandered at casual blue ones. "I'm pretty sure I can guess who you're betting on in this last fight."

Kronos back-flipped, landed next to Luke, manifested a golden shield in front of them, and grinned. The child of Hermes glanced at the titan of time. "My lord, shouldn't we be trying to stop this battle now?"

"I acknowledge that Atlas has been weakened in this fight, yes." Kronos replied. "But I shall not stop him from acting on his desires."

"He is guided by his pleasure and displeasure, similar to myself." Kronos groused. "If this is what he wants, then so be it."

Naruto and Atlas slammed their last two techniques against each other. Bursts of wind whirled out from the variant of the Massive-Rasengan. Rings of black aura tunnelled themselves out from the claw of divine energy.

"This is what I wanted." Atlas had an insane grin on his pale face. "This fight would either end in my loss or victory, nothing else!"

Teeth gritted in annoyance and concentration, Naruto exerted his arm and shot his Wind-Style: Massive-Rasengan forward. Atlas' obsidian claw was overpowered by the sphere of chakra and was destroyed.

Atlas was enveloped by the Wind-Style: Massive-Rasengan, blasted backwards, and was buried into the concrete. Breathing in blood-thirsty satisfaction, the titan chuckled. "I accept this outcome…"

Naruto watched Atlas crumble into golden particles and gazed at the four other individuals on the street. They dissolved their barricades of golden energy and solidified water. Kronos clapped his pale hands.

"Bravo! Bravo, indeed!" Kronos dispelled his scythe, clapping his palms together. "You truly are the strongest Shinobi in history!"

There was silence as Kronos spoke to Naruto. A palpable amusement and avarice glistened in the bright pits of his malevolent gaze. "However, I can tell even you must be weakened from that fight—."

A ruthless knee to the jaw propelled Kronos into a sky-scraper. More and more amusement surfaced in Kronos' gaze as he crashed against a wall before sliding back down to the ground. "Good shot, vessel."

Luke appeared next to Kronos in a flash of impressive speed. Percy and Annabeth convened around Naruto: who lowered his leg. Annabeth looked at her blue-eyed friend. "Are you alright, Naruto?"

"I'm good." The Uzumaki grinned, rolling his shoulders and cracking his knuckles. "I won't be able to undergo K-C-M for a little while."

"That golden cloak form?" Annabeth nodded, clenching her gauntleted fists. "I wasn't expecting you to have a cool-down for that mode."

"Under normal circumstances, there wouldn't be." Naruto tapped his head. "But Kurama ain't letting me access his chakra for now."

"Really?" Percy slumped his shoulders, unimpressed. "Why isn't he letting you use that K-C-M mode? We're in an important battle."

"Kurama wants some 'entertainment'." Naruto shrugged. "Don't worry about it, though. That damn fur-ball has just been kind of bored."

A guttural chuckle vibrated within Naruto's mind. "You can handle the rest of this damn war yourself. Don't forget you're my vessel, brat."

"And I can't be your vessel if I ain't strong." Naruto let loose a mischievous laugh in his mind. "Alright, you two. Come on."

"Percy." Annabeth addressed the green-eyed boy. "You and Naruto will take care of Kronos and I'll take care of Luke. Okay?"

"Yeah." Percy twirled Riptide, noticing Annabeth disappear in a burst of speed. "Naruto, I hope you're ready to fight an invincible foe."

Naruto smirked, tensed his muscles, bounced on the balls of his feet, and responded. "Heh. All we have to do is find the weak-spot, right?"

"You take the lead for now." Percy concentrated on Kronos: who approached them in a casual gait. "I'll support you from the back."

Naruto flexed his fingers until a yellow-eyed silhouette appeared behind him. An elbow blocked off Kronos' powerful punch without any visible physical exertion. Whirling around, Naruto raised his leg.

A roundhouse kick to the hip launched Kronos backwards. Percy grabbed onto a pipe from the ground, batting Kronos' occiput and propelled him towards Naruto. Kronos deflected a right-hook.

Exchanging a series of blows, Naruto parried ten punches from Kronos within an interval of five seconds. Chakra spread throughout his arm and enhanced his knuckles. He struck Kronos in the chest.

Undamaged and undeterred, Kronos back-flipped and was captured by a water-constructed hand—this water-constructed hand took Kronos to where Naruto stood. A palm buried itself into Kronos' nose.

"None of my physical attacks have even reached him!" Kronos chuckled in psychotic exhilaration. "What a monstrous child, indeed!"

"What a pain in the ass." Naruto sighed to himself, somewhat annoyed. "His invisibility is preventing him from being injured."

Naruto felt the atmosphere around him ripple from a foreign sensation. Time itself had been manipulated. Chakra coated Naruto's hand as he swatted the Time-Slice downwards and fissured the ground.

An explosion of water erupted forth from the concrete and hurtled Kronos upwards. Grinning at Percy, Naruto ascended into the air. An axe-kick dropped itself down on Kronos' head. "Rasengan…"

Retracting his leg and following Kronos from above as they descended to the streets of the city, Naruto smacked a Rasengan into his back. Unharmed, Kronos found himself ingrained in a crater.

Returning to the ground and landing close to Percy, the Uzumaki squinted his blue eyes. Kronos emerged from the crater, amusement plastered onto his pale visage. "You are both formidable opponents!"

"It will still take days for me to regain my divine body." Kronos scoffed. "I'll be stuck in this mortal body for much longer than I had expected."

Divine power enhanced his fists before they crashed themselves against Naruto's chakra-empowered knuckles. The ground tremored. Naruto tilted his body to the left as Percy upper-cut Kronos' chin.

A punch to the jaw from Naruto flung Kronos into the sky. Naruto summoned a Lava-Style: Rasenshuriken and threw it in his direction. It expanded and engulfed Kronos in a vicious discharge of lava.

"Now that I think about it." Percy cupped his chin. "How many elements can Naruto put into those shurikens? Oh, whatever..."

Flipping out from the explosion of lava without damage, Kronos lashed his leg out and landed a successful kick to Naruto's nose. Heading snapping backwards, Naruto retaliated and jabbed Kronos' neck.

"Where the hell could his weak spot be?" Naruto pondered, bending his knees and blurring forward. "This fight is dragging on and on…"

"Percy!" Naruto yelled at the son of the seas, amassing chakra onto his calloused palm. "Do you have a method to remove the curse?"

"We did!" Percy shouted in response, slamming an inundation of water into Kronos' sternum. "But Kronos ended up destroying it!"

"What a pain in the ass." Naruto grouched. "Magnet-Style: Rasengan!"

(-)

Charles and Nico waded through the debris within the streets of New-York-City, searching for where their friends were. Nico felt Percy's soul-essence and swallowed himself and Charles in shadows.

Emerging from the shadows of an alleyway, Nico grabbed Charles and pushed him down as Luke flew over their heads. Annabeth panted in exhaustion, flecks of mana flickering around her gauntlets.

"Annabeth!" Charles shouted, wasting no time at all. "Naruto is in possession of the second weapon that can take care of the curse!"

Having accepted the information in a brief second of contemplation, Annabeth nodded. "We'll have to tell Percy and Naruto this, then."

"Isn't he still battling Atlas?" Nico scowled at the pile of rubbles around them. "Look at all the damage their battle caused to the city."

"Nope." Annabeth shook her head, amused. "He already defeated Atlas a while ago. Naruto and Percy are fighting Kronos right now."

"Good." Charles interrupted. "Then we can tell him the news."

Luke charged at the three of them upon hearing this news, keen on stopping them. Glancing at Luke in impassivity, Nico snapped his fingers and the shadows consumed him and his two allies.

"That little…" Luke clenched his teeth, rushing through the streets to return to the area where Kronos was fighting. "I have to tell him…"

Kronos established a humble amount of distance between himself and his two opponents once he had detected the presence of three individuals teleporting to them. Percy's eyes widened, confused.

"Nico, Beckendorf, and Annabeth?" Percy murmured, a little baffled and surprised. "Why are you three—? No, what about Luke?"

Naruto raised an eye-brow. Charles had pointed a finger in his direction. "Naruto, do you remember that cube I gave you?"

"I used it against Atlas because I ran out of Kunai." Naruto pulled it out from his pocket and turned it into a Kunai. "Thanks for the weapon!"

"That weapon." Charles' finger twitched before it was pointed at Kronos: who raised an eye-brow. "Can weaken the curse on him!"

"Surprise." Nico performed a jazz-hands type gesture at Percy, ignoring his evident surprise. "Charles created two weapons."

"Two weapons capable of weakening the Curse-Of-Achilles." Annabeth elaborated. "Naruto was a contingency for him."

"Me?" Naruto flicked a thumb at himself in confusion. "Why would—?"

Nonchalance replaced Naruto's confusion as he fended off a punch from Kronos without even gandering at him. Another punch lashed out towards his face—but Naruto's elbow parried the powerful blow.

Blue eyes gazed into golden ones. Kronos clicked his tongue in excitement, unleashing a Time-Slice upon Naruto. A layer of chakra covered Naruto's hand before he batted the slice into a building.

"Naruto!" Charles shouted. "The Kunai just has to touch Kronos to weaken his invulnerability! Then, you can damage him at last!"

"Silence." Kronos glanced at Charles, bored. "I have no interest in individuals who cannot fight me themselves. One more time…"

Percy appeared in front of Charles and Nico, conjuring a water-constructed barricade around them to protect them from the Time-Slice. Naruto held onto the crimson Kunai, concentrating.

Luke had reached the battle-field, being trapped in a cage of shadows by Nico. Mana erupted out from his body and obliterated this cage. He clenched his fists. "Lord Kronos must have heard about the weapon."

"Man!" Naruto shouted amongst the chaos, grinning. "I guess that forbidden magic Atlas and I sensed in this Kunai meant something."

"There is one more piece of information." Charles told them. "Naruto has to have his chakra imbued in the Kunai for it to work."

Hearing the stipulation and admiring the smooth texture of the Kunai, Naruto channelled his chakra into its material. Golden lines from the Kunai glowed a luminescent light and illuminated the air.

Kronos was somewhat prudent about the aureate glow being produced from the Shinobi-specialized weapon. Knees bent, the titan of time hummed. "I don't think I'm fast enough to evade him."

Time rippled and slowed down Naruto's movements. Kronos was blindsided when the rubble on his left reverted itself back to its original form. The Shadow-Clone smacked its heel into Kronos' head.

Naruto escaped the control Kronos' powers had on his movements and shot forward. Percy assisted him by aiming tendrils of water at Kronos' limbs. Nico had disappeared. Charles stayed to watch.

Luke and Annabeth rolled through the walls of a building, falling off of a bridge. Fist being buried into Luke's nose, Annabeth shoved him backwards. Luke healed his shattered nose and grinned in mockery.

Launching his knee into Kronos' chin, Naruto whirled around mid-air and slashed the Kunai at the titan of time's neck. Golden flecks of divine power formed into a barricade and blocked off the weapon.

"Just give it up!" Percy shouted, manipulating his tendrils of water to trap Kronos in a cage. "You've lost this war, Kronos! Now stop!"

"I beg to differ." Kronos clasped his pale hands. "This is only the beginning for me! I shall plunder this world in a new era of violence!"

Divine energy discharged itself from Kronos' hands and destroyed the water-constructed cage. Moving into Kronos' guard, Naruto flipped the Kunai into his other hand and pushed it towards Kronos' shoulder.

"Rasengan…"

Kronos grunted in irritation as the Shadow-Clone from earlier drilled a Rasengan into the back of his head. Unharmed, the titan of time felt the Kunai bury itself into his shoulder. Blood poured out of the wound.

The Shadow-Clone was dispelled by the original. Naruto had—at last—succeeded in using the Kunai in penetrating Kronos' invulnerable flesh. Grinning, Naruto slanted his head in mischief.

"Kurama ain't letting me use his chakra for now." Naruto spoke aloud, a casual inflection within his voice. "But six-paths-chakra? I can use."

"Atlas called the magic in that Kunai forbidden." Naruto slipped a hand into his pocket, shoulders slouched. "Whatever that means."

"But mana is a type of energy, right?" The rhetorical question was met by silence. "And all energy has various levels of potencies."

"Charles, from what I understand, engineered that Kunai to only be usable if my chakra was imbued into it."

"So." Naruto slid a second hand into his pocket and widened his grin. "I wanted to see if six-paths-chakra would affect you, Kronos."

"Judging by the fact the Kunai still penetrated your skin, it didn't matter what type of chakra was used as long as that chakra came from me."

"If my normal chakra would let the Kunai turn your full invulnerability into partial invulnerability, then what would six-paths-chakra do?"

If these circumstances were normal ones, then Naruto's chakra would only be able to let the Kunai's forbidden mana weaken the Curse-Of-Achilles Kronos had. However, Naruto had used chakra from Sage-Of-Six-Paths-Mode instead.

It wasn't Naruto's chakra that would affect the Curse-Of-Achilles, it was the forbidden magic imbued into the Kunai's material. Naruto's chakra had been used as a method to awaken that forbidden mana.

The knife Annabeth had used on Luke was also in possession of this forbidden magic—but anyone could use it. This forbidden mana had been enhanced and its potency increased by the six-paths-chakra.

In essence, the Curse-Of-Achilles had been removed from Kronos in its entirety. Charles realized this, fists clenched in shock and eyes widened in raw amazement. "Naruto, you are such a mad lad…"

Kronos had also realized what Naruto was implying and shrugged, removing the Kunai from his wounded shoulder. Blood coated his fingers as his tongue tasted the crimson substance. "Mortality…"

"So this is the feeling of true mortality!" Kronos released a shout of unperturbed excitement. "I've never felt such a sensation!"

"He doesn't even care about losing the Curse-Of-Achilles?!" Charles thought, stunned beyond belief. "I underestimated his personality!"

"You've removed the curse fully from me somehow." He glanced at Charles and chuckled. "I presume you created those two weapons?"

"Hm." A low hum of contemplation rumbled out from Kronos' trachea. "You must have created a contract between yourself and magic itself."

"That 'forbidden mana' Atlas sensed in that Kunai was the result of a dangerous contract between mana itself and a person."

"What in the name of my mother did you sacrifice to create such a contract?" Kronos trailed off, amused. "Was it your life perhaps?"

"What?!" Percy—who had been listening to them—snapped his head towards Charles, baffled. "Beckendorf, you sacrificed your life?!"

"No." Naruto rubbed his chin. "Otherwise he would have died by now. Charles, what the heck did you sacrifice to create those weapons?"

"I sacrificed the—..."

Charles was interrupted when Luke propelled Annabeth into him. Fists clenched, Percy rushed at Luke and roundhouse kicked him back. Naruto pressed the bottom of his palm against Kronos' jaw.

Blood pooled out of the titan of time's mouth—but Kronos remained unbothered and slammed the heel of his foot into Naruto's jaw. Spitting out a puddle of blood, Naruto axe-kicked his head.

Time accelerated and healed Kronos' wounds. Flexing his fingers, strings of divine energy hooked themselves over Naruto's shoulder and clenched down on them. Naruto broke out of their grasp and disappeared.

Percy had left Luke alone once ensuring Charles was okay and appeared behind Kronos in a burst of speed. Kicking his head, the child of the seas shot two tendrils of water at Kronos' neck.

Kronos had noticed earlier on around the beginning of their battle how the Curse-Of-Achilles had given Percy's hydrokinesis the power to touch time itself. Touching his neck, Kronos let loose a hum.

"You heroes can be true nuisances sometimes." Kronos chuckled, cracking his neck. "I can still use my chronokinesis to heal myself."

"I'll stop you no matter what." Emerald gaze steeled, Percy grunted. "This is where this war will end, Kronos! Once and for all!"

Golden flecks of divine energy erupted out from Kronos' body. His new mortality was not even a hindrance for him. Head tilted in amusement, the titan of time answered. "I hope so, hero, I do hope so…"

Around the corner of the street in the same area, Annabeth pummelled multiple punches into Luke's sternum. Rubbing the temple of his head, Charles groaned a little. "I was not expecting that at all…"

Deeper into the area, Naruto materialized himself on a roof-top that had somehow remained intact. Blue eyes squinted, Naruto gazed at the rubble inside of the sector. "Man, how much damage is there?"

Gathering nature-energy into his body and activating Sage-Mode, Naruto felt two orange pigmentations appear on his whiskered face. Chakra coalesced onto his palm before he disappeared in a blur.

Kronos was unable to retaliate when a Massive-Rasengan drilled itself into his hip and propelled him somewhere to the right. Crashing into a wall, he coughed out blood and smirked. "Impressive technique!"

Time rippled and healed the damage to Kronos' flesh. Percy unsheathed Riptide while Naruto stayed unbothered. Kronos tapped a finger onto his chin. "His fight against Atlas weakened him somewhat."

"He has a boundless amount of chakra even without the Kyuubi." Kronos snapped his fingers. "Naruto Uzumaki, listen to me."

Naruto raised a curious eye-brow at the lord of time. Smirking, Kronos explained. "I had Prometheus and Atlas create a contingency for you."

The orange pigmentations on Naruto's face vanished.

"Was that what Atlas told me he was 'preoccupied' by…?"

"I had been hoping to not have to rely on this contingency plan." Kronos sighed, unperturbed. "But, alas, I must use it right now."

"I, Kronos, the titan of time, allow Hachiman, the Shinto god of war, entry into this part of the Greek pantheon."

At the mention of 'Hachiman' Naruto froze in his tracks in shock. Hachiman was the one who had slaughtered countless Shinobi and the one who had murdered Neji Hyuga—one of Naruto's old friends.

He was one of the biggest nuisances in the Divine-War, having formed an allyship between himself, Obito Uchiha, and Madara Uchiha. Kurama opened a single vermillion eye. "Oh? What a plot twist."

The ground itself shook the minute Kronos declared his statement. Clouds whirled around and the stars in the night-sky twinkled. A singular black portal opened, a pale hand reaching out at open air.

Dragging himself out of the portal and glancing around his surroundings, the Shinto god of war let loose a cackle of maniacal laughter. "How long has it been since I've tasted fresh air?!"

Hachiman had pale skin, cracked armour, obsidian eyes of deep experience, ebony-hued hair, and a mad grin of psychopathy on his handsome features. "It's been a long while since I visited this realm!"

His obsidian eyes glinted an ominous crimson and blue as he scanned the area, noticing the few individuals in the distance. Familiarity filled his gaze at the sight of Kronos: who chuckled. "Hachiman, huh?"

"You're the one that Atlas and Prometheus serve?" Shrugging, Hachiman gandered at the destroyed buildings. "Where is he—?"

A yellow-haired demon tackled Hachiman and launched a merciless upper-cut into his jaw. Spitting out blue-tinted blood, Hachiman grinned. "There he is! The vessel of that damn fox, Naruto Uzumaki!"

"How the hell are you even roaming around?" Naruto growled in unadulterated aggression. "Didn't Amaterasu seal you away?"

"Amaterasu did imprison me in a different realm!" Hachiman buried his knuckles into Naruto's solar-plexus. "But I was rescued by someone!"

Realization glowed inside the blue depths of Naruto's gaze. "It was Izanami, wasn't it? You bastard! You can't stay away, can you?!"

Numerous blows were exchanged between the two of them. Hachiman tasted the blood on his tongue, sampling it as one would sample the finest of cuisines. "Why would I stay away, huh?!"

"Prometheus told me you would join this war for your friends!" Hachiman lashed his arm out. "I could fight you again!"

Parrying a merciless punch from Hachiman and head-butting him straight in the nose, Naruto grunted in outrage. "I clobbered you once, Hachiman, and I ain't against beating the crap out of you again!"

"Relax." Hachiman blocked three punches from Naruto and grinned. "I can't stay in this city for long since Kronos summoned me for an hour."

"You should be worried about what Izanami's planning in the future." The Shinto god of war laughed. "That lady has some big schemes!"

"He can only stay for an hour?" Naruto's eyes were frustrated. "That's more than enough time to beat this bastard's ass up…"

Kronos maintained a satisfied smile on his features and watched Naruto and Hachiman disappear into the distance. Noticing Percy's palpable confusion, the titan of time released a loud laugh of mockery.

"I summoned Hachiman to be a distraction so Naruto Uzumaki wouldn't interrupt our fight." Kronos explained. "I intend to kill you."

"Hachiman was also summoned to be a contingency if Prometheus and Atlas were defeated." He grinned. "My desires shall be fulfilled."

Water was conjured around Kronos and wrapped him in three chains. Axe-kicking his head, Percy whirled around on the spot before he embedded his water-enhanced knuckles into Kronos' jaw.

"Not bad, demi-god." Kronos swallowed the blood gathered into the cavern of his mouth. "You won't be able to stop me, though!"

"Who cares about what you think?!" Percy roundhouse kicked Kronos backwards and shouted. "I've already had enough of your crap!"

Slamming the heel of his foot downwards, Kronos cracked the ground and Percy lost his footing for the briefest of seconds. Kronos blurred towards him in a flash of speed, ingraining a punch into his face.

Seventeen Time-Slices were directed at Percy's upper-torso—but the child of the ocean remained undamaged from these attacks and clicked his teeth. Kronos adjusted his chronokinesis once more.

"I've been thinking about my own method of bypassing the Curse-Of-Achilles to damage you so I could win this fight."

"I ain't telling you where my weak-spot is." Percy smirked, holding Riptide at a prudent angle. "You've also lost the Curse-Of-Achilles."

"I can't use that Kunai since it only works under the influence of Naruto Uzumaki's chakra." Kronos scoffed. "But I do have a theory."

"If I can adjust my chronokinesis on your skin to a point in time when it was penetrable and not impenetrable, then I should be able to harm you."

"Good luck." Percy reinforced the mobility in his posture. Water wrapped itself around his most trusted blade. "And just try it."

"My pleasure, hero." Kronos moved three fingers downwards. "If I've fine-tuned my time manipulation well enough, then this should work."

Multiple Time-Slices were engraved into Percy's abdomen. On the twentieth Time-Slice, Kronos had been successful in drawing blood out from Percy's stomach. The demi-god grunted. "Whatever…"

"At last!" Thirteen Time-Slices were aimed for Percy's upper-torso—but Percy walked through them. "His tenacity…"

"His tenacity is impressive." Kronos watched how, despite the slashes on his abdomen, Percy kept trudging forward. "I want to see more!"

Physical attacks were useless against Percy because of the Curse-Of-Achilles—all Kronos could hope for was for one of his Time-Slices to penetrate Percy's weak-spot and therefore end his life.

Percy was in a better position in this fight since Kronos was vulnerable to all types of physical attacks—all he had to hope was that he would either be able to eliminate the titan of time or knock him unconscious.

The fight between Hachiman and Naruto was one of complete Taijutsu—Hachiman drilled his knee into Naruto's chin. Head snapping backwards at an unnatural angle, Naruto stretched his leg forward.

A powerful kick to the solar-plexus hurtled Hachiman into the ground. Approaching him, Naruto heard blood-thirsty laughter escape his mouth. "Hachiman, why the hell aren't you using your powers?"

"I can't right now." Pointing an index finger at himself, Hachiman grinned. "The realm I was sealed into weakened my divine power."

"I've been weakened so much I can't even summon any weapons." Hachiman chuckled. "Hell, there's only one real reason why I'm here."

"And what the heck is this 'real reason' of yours, huh?"

"I just wanted to warn you about Izanami's future schemes, I told you earlier." Hachiman smiled. "Let's just enjoy our reunion, huh?"

"Kronos is using him to keep you away from the main fight." Kurama groused. "So, for the time being, I want to see how this unravels."

"You're such a pain in the ass sometimes." Naruto sighed. "I guess it's time for one more battle."

Naruto clenched his fists.
