A/n: I got the idea for this story after seeing a tiktok clip after the show, when Seth Beat Shinsuke Nakamura.
Chapter One -
It was the morning of his fight with Shinsuke after weeks of him getting blindsided, this was something he hadn't even seen coming. This was personal. No matter what happened Seth HAD to win this match, he had to show him that nobody would take Seth Rollins out but Seth Rollins. Ever since Seth had accepted his challenge, Becky had been very wary of it. Seth understood that she was just worried, he loved her for it. After taking a shower, Seth jogged downstairs to the kitchen where Roux was eating some breakfast.
"Good morning, baby girl." Seth smiled, dropping a kiss on his daughter's forehead.
"Good morning, daddy." She smiled at him. Becky emerges from the living room looking disheveled, her naturally fiery red hair into a messy ponytail.
"Oh, good morning babe." Becky sighs, giving his cheek a kiss.
"Are you okay?" Seth pulled her body into his arms, looking over her features.
"Uh yeah I'm just…not feelin it today." Becky clears her throat, in his chest Seth felt like it was more than that. She was worried about tonight.
"I'm gonna go lay down, I didn't get much sleep last night." Becky gives him a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes, walking upstairs after giving Roux a kiss.
"Is Mommy okay?" Roux asked, little kids always picked up on their parents' moods.
"Mommy's okay, she's just tired." Seth smiled at her, hoping he could convince himself that was all that was wrong. After having breakfast, Roux went up to her room to play and Seth went up to check on Becky.
"I'm not going to Raw tonight, I'm way too sick." Becky places a strand of hair behind her ear.
"I didn't know that you were sick, do you want me to take off tonight?" Seth sits down beside her, worried.
"No, you've got a big night ahead of you. I know what you're thinking, your match isn't the reason I'm not going. I just really don't feel good, maybe I've got that bug that's going around." Becky purses her lips. Seth put the back of his hand up to her forehead to see if she had a fever, she was a little hot.
"You do feel hot but, I just want you to know something. I know you've been worried all week but, just know that nothing could ever stop me from coming home to you and Roux." Seth pulled her into a kiss, tangling his hands on her ear.
"Babe, you're going to get sick." Becky chuckled, pulling away after a few seconds.
"I'd be in good company." Seth smirked, bumping his shoulder with hers. Seth spent the rest of the day with Roux while Becky rested.
"Hey baby girl, are you ready to go?" Seth peaked his head into his daughter's room.
"Yes daddy, where's mommy?" Roux asked, knowing on Mondays the three of them always left together to go to Raw.
"Mommy's sick so she's not coming. You should say goodbye to her." Seth sighed, wishing he could stay here with his wife. Roux ran down the hall to Seth and Becky's room, plopping onto the bed beside her mom.
"Hello darling." Becky managed a smile as Roux gave her a squeeze.
"Are you going to be okay, mommy? You never miss work." Roux cuddled against her mother's side.
"I'll be okay, baby. You don't have to worry about me." Becky assures her.
"I love you." Roux kisses her mother's cheek, going downstairs to wait for Seth.
"Call me if you need anything, babe." Seth kissed her forehead.
"Seth, this isn't my first rodeo. I've been sick before." Despite herself, a smirk curled onto her lips.
"Yeah, but the last four years I've always been here to take care of you." Seth nodded.
"Hush, before I tell the whole locker room how soft you really are." Becky smirked.
"Oh babe, not that." Seth mock winced, dropping another kiss onto her forehead.
"I'll be looking forward to watching you kick Nakamura's ass tonight." Becky smirked, she would be there to cheer him on in spirit.
"I knew you would. I love you, Beck." Seth chuckled, leaning down to give her a hug.
"I love you." Becky squeezed him back, a few minutes later Seth and Roux left the house and Becky was alone.
"Ow…my stomach is really killing me." Becky groans, rolling into her side and holding her stomach. As Becky reached down she felt something wet, throwing back the cover she found her abdomen and the bed sheets bloodied.
"Oh shit." Becky fell out of the bed, holding her stomach and making a grab for her phone dialing the first number she could find.
"Becky?* Came A surprised voice from the other end, she knew it had been forever since they'd talked.
"Are you going on Raw tonight?" Becky asks through shallow breaths, it was true that Becky and Charlotte hadn't been close in quite some time but…Becky still trusted her.
"No, I'm on Smackdown. Why? Are you okay?" Charlotte asked, concerned.
"My stomach has been killing me, I just found blood on my sheets and there's still blood pouring from my stomach. Seth already left for Raw and I know you live close. Can you please help me?" Becky wasn't the type to beg but, she was in extreme pain.
"Yeah, yeah…of course. I'll be right there." Charlotte stayed on the phone with her until she arrived, running up the stairs when she threw the door open. Charlotte helped Becky to the car and they drove to the hospital, when they took Becky back Charlotte dialed Seth's number.
"Hello?" He immediately picked up, thinking it was weird that Charlotte Flair was calling him.
"Hey Seth, I have something I need to tell you. It's about Becky." Charlotte cleared her throat.
"Is…she alright? You two are talking?" Seth was immediately concerned, as he paced backstage.
"Well, she called me. Becky was bleeding around her abdomen, the doctors are running tests now. I know you have a big match tonight and everything but, it's your wife. I thought you'd want to know." Charlotte hated to be the one delivering such bad news.
"I knew I shouldn't have left, I knew I shouldn't have." Seth trails off, steeling himself against a wall.
"I promise the second I know anything I will call you. I know Beck and I haven't been close in such a long time but she's still my best friend. Becky was still there for me when nobody else was, I still care about her." Charlotte sighed, noting how Seth was all but silent.
"Char, you both still care about each other. Becky wanted you to be Roux 's godmother, she loves you. Thank you for calling me, I really appreciate it." With that statement, Seth hung up and got ready to walk out for his match. Thanks to the news about Becky, Seth was at one hundred percent capacity and didn't let Nakamura even get close to winning. Not even once. Seth won the match but he wasn't done letting him know exactly how he felt.
"I know the risks I take every day, I know I have a bad back. My wife worries, you ain't gotta make her worry!" Seth yelled at him, continuing to beat him down until the credits rolled. After collecting Roux from backstage, he drove them to the hospital.
"Daddy, this isn't the way home."Roux comments, he should have known he couldn't get anything past her.
"No, it's not. Mommy had to go to the hospital, I need to go and see if she's okay. I'm dropping you off at Grandma's until tomorrow, I know you're tired baby girl." Seth frowned, he had so many emotions going through his mind right now that he didn't know how to act.
"But …you said she would be okay." Roux 's bottom lip quivered as Seth parked in his mother's driveway.
"I know, I didn't think it was this bad. You know I wouldn't lie to you, baby. I'm just as worried as you are." Seth turned around to look at his daughter, she had the same eyes as Becky.
"Okay." Her voice was small, he hated doing this.
"We'll come and get you tomorrow, I promise. Your mom's a warrior, we'll get through this." Seth promised his daughter, after taking her inside he drove to the hospital. Seth went to the room number that Charlotte had given him, Becky was laying down in the hospital bed with Charlotte sitting beside her.
"Please tell me your okay…"
