My worries came true. My sister radiated her way through the professor's hearts. I sat in the Common Alone with Emily meeting with the quidditch captain and Elizabeth studying. "Severus?" He came through the door breathing heavily. "What happened?" I asked sitting him on the

"My brother's been training me. He said the only way Gryffindors understand is through actions and he thinks if I duel and beat Sirius he will stop pestering me."

"Why can't you just talk it out between each other?" I demanded this all seemed silly.

"Lily keeps trying, but James and Sirius won't listen." I sighed, I hadn't spoken to Lily worried that she would block me out of view. "Cass said I need to find a second."

"What? Why won't he do it himself?"

"He wants me to do it myself to show I'm not leaning on him." I thought about it and spoke up.

I swallowed all doubts. "I can be your second, just don't get me in trouble." Snape looked at me with relief. "When's this duel anyway?"

"Cassius said before the Christmas break, thank you so much petunia." I waited a few days until we had charms.

"Why are you making Severus take part in a duel?" I whispered to him.

He sighed. "It's better for him to nip this, before it grows into a larger mess." Cassius said, taking notes. "From what I can gather, Sirius and Severus have a few things in common." I raised a brow and they looked more opposite than anyone in this school.

"But why a duel? Couldn't they talk it out and be done with it?" He turned to me and gave a look to my deepest depths.

"Answer me this, why haven't you talked to your sister since she came to Hogwarts?" Had Severus told him or did Lily ask. "I'm sorry if that hurts but you have to speak to her at least once."

The class ended but the question never ended. "Why" was easy, Because I was afraid of what I would say, I didn't hate my sister but in a few weeks she had grown to be one of the rising stars even if not the sun like she always was. Lily growing above the clouds and blocking me away, if I hadn't had magic I didn't even want to imagine a life like that!

So I decided to pull Cassius to one of the corners in the Hallway. "How do you do it?" Cassius raised a brow. "How can you be so unmoving to everything, Severus is going to be the best achieving first year at this rate, yet you just seem to be happy? How do you do it?!" It was so frustrating.

His face contorted, turning to anger. "Because in my home being special doesn't exist, we were all born with rotten luck. A father who thinks you can beat magic out of you and a mother who can only heal the wounds. We only have each other and that's how I can do it Petunia because I have to be strong." A book fell and we turned to see Sirius staring and he ran.

Cassius sighed. "Petunia, what are you afraid of?" I sighed.

"Being overshadowed, blocked out from my parents' love, my friends and my entire life being nothing but Lily's sister." He looked at me confused.

"I will be honest, ask others. Because unlike you I can't show weakness toward most of my friends and neither of my parents will care." He pushed me aside and walked away.

I returned to the tower and talked with Elizabeth and Emily. "Makes sense." Elizabeth told me some of my Anxiety melted. "Of Course you're afraid of being in a sibling's shadow. I mean who wants to be second place when you're older?"

Emily got out her opinion. "Don't listen to Cass, he's nice but can be a tosser, seeing he always gets called to head master's officer."

"How do I stop it? How do I stop being jealous of my baby sister?" They thought about it.

Emily made a long"Hmm, would she join the Quidditch team?" I looked at her questioningly. "Hear me out! We both know you're good on brooms from our first year." I proudly smiled.

"I was the first to fly in my year." Emilia rolled her eyes, "how about a bit of training, a bit of flying and joining as the seeker next year?" Emilia offered.

Elizabeth was shocked. "That's actually a great idea." Emilia was offended.

"I have great ideas!"

I had to remind her of a great idea. "Like when you smuggled in a flask of your dad's Firewhisky and we cleaned the halls for a week?" Emily chuckled awkwardly.

"Ha ha fine but this one's good! I mean would your sister ever play Quidditch?"

"She wouldn't." We turned and saw Sev.

Elizabeth spoke in a gentle tone "Severus was it?" He nodded. "Why wouldn't Lily play?"

"Because she's horrible on the broom. She kept going down when we had our first broom flying and pulled too fast and rushed up." I fought my laughter back, Perfect Lily wasn't perfect at something?

This had to be some kind of dream. "You need to try out. What better way to stop jealousy than being good at something that she can't take over?" I smiled and nodded.

I stood frozen as the Quidditch captain Wiley Priest Walked in front of us. "I have to say, this is a horrible year for us, most of the Team graduated and I will be frank. I'm desperate, So we need two chasers, three Reserve, one beater, two Reserve, a seeker, a Reserve and a keeper and again a Reserve. Any questions?"

Emily yelled. "Was Dan Dendy a horrible captain?"

Wiley laughed and stopped. "I mean he didn't set up any reserves, most of the team was made up of his friends and now we have this mess!" He let out one long breath. "Ok those who want to be chasers form a line and continue with each position. Then we split into two teams and the best player on each team gets the positions." He finished as we lined up and got into the air. Some of the beaters had to take the chaser's position while others sat at the benches mainly because they were seventh years and Wiley didn't want any of his new team leaving next year.

There I floated in the chaos dodging and threading, weaving through the bludgers and other players. My eyes caught it first I flew after it everything else did 't exist I wanted that snitch! I was lighter than the other seeker who trailed behind me for the golden ball. I got closer and grit my teeth trying to push the broom to its maximum potential.

I stopped and held up the snitch. "I got it!"

Wiley Priest blew a whistle. "Evans! You're First Seeker, Malcolm's reservse! A minute and a half, good time Evans! Seekers can leave, come back after classes tomorrow. For the Rest of you the game ends at Five hundred points!" They groaned and I got to the changing room.

"You were amazing Petunia!" I saw Severus amazed at my talents.

Elizabeth smiled. "Not my kind of game but you got the gift for it." After that I took a few breaths and left the tower to find Lily, only she was in front of me.

"Tuney! I'm so proud of you!" She hugged me and I didn't know what to say. "So that's why you weren't speaking to me! I was so worried." Finally I hugged her back, what was I thinking?
