The Lone Vigilante Issei – High School DxD
Hey everyone, it's me Hide Shinyama.
I hope you have had a wonderful Merry Christmas and wish you all a Happy New Year.
I really wanted to release this before 2022 begins.
I was going to write the chapter for the new arc. But then, I realized that there was one major flaw in this story. And that is the unclear backstory for so many of our characters.
Most of the characters in Nerima are largely derived from their counterparts from Ranma 1/2. For those readers who are familiar with that manga/anime, it should be easy to guess what the characters in this fanfiction are like, in addition to their backstories.
But for those who are not familiar with Ranma 1/2, these characters will not mean much to you. Hence, I want to make sure those readers get a proper understanding as to what the folks of Nerima are like.
Granted, I only gave bits and pieces of background to the folks in Nerima, especially Sanma. But it is clearly not enough. And given what a major character Sanma is for this fanfiction, I intend to give a proper backstory to Sanma (and to that extent the folks in Nerima).
Also of note: I have read much of Ranma 1/2, but not in its entirety. I added and changed some details to the original characters' backstories to fit my imagination of my derived characters to be like.
So, what is Sanma's backstory?
Find out in…
Chapter 52 – Story of Sanma
Sanma Raotome, born on the 5th of February, now aged 15 years old, was a martial arts prodigy that was raised in a family of honor-bound martial artists. His parents were Nodoka and Gunma Raotome. Nodoka Raotome was a strict traditional Japanese woman that demanded that the men in her family be a "Man among Men". Gunma Raotome, on the other hand, was a lazy, hypocritical, irresponsible excuse of a martial master that practiced an art called the School of Randomness.
At the age of four, he and his father Gunma left Nodoka Raotome to go on a martial arts training trip throughout Japan. However, Nodoka made sure to make the two of them sign a pledge that should they fail to uphold their honor and their duties as martial artists, they would immediately commit seppuku.
"Pop? What's seppuku?"
"That… I'll tell you when you're older!"
Thus, a life of hardship began for Sanma. The training was harsh and grueling. His father made him learn all sorts of crazy moves and undergo all kinds of harsh training. One training session involved being lowered into a pit of hungry cats, while covered in fish products. That training scarred Sanma to this very day.
"Meow…"
"GAAAAAK! STAY AWAY!"
In the end, though, all those years of training paid off. Sanma became an accomplished martial artist. He had not become a master of his family's School of Randomness, yet he truly was very advanced and experienced in his art.
Though… his uncontrolled mouth was still his biggest weakness.
"Uncute tomboy…"
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!"
[WHAM!] "OUCH!"
In his time wandering Japan, Sanma would meet Ukyu Kuongi and her father, both proficient cooks of okonomiyaki. That would be the first time, Sanma ever made a friend. They hung out a lot and Sanma would be the first to try out Ukyu's okonomiyaki. Unfortunately, Sanma had unwittingly made a vow to marry Ukyu, while blissfully unaware that Ukyu was a girl. And when Sanma's dad forced Sanma to leave Ukyu behind to continue their training trip…
"SEE YA, UKYU-KUN!"
"WAIT! DON'T LEAVE ME! YOU PROMISED THAT YOU'LL MARRY ME!"
"WHAT? WHAT'S 'MARRIAGE?'"
Ukyu was truly heartbroken.
Throughout his time wandering, he also met his rival and friend Ryuga Nabiki when he was still in middle school. Because of how scarce lunch was during that time and place, they would also fight for the bread in high spectacle sparring matches.
"TAKE MY FIST, SANMA!"
"OW, MY FACE! TAKE MY KICK!"
"OW! THAT WAS A STOMP!"
"HUP!"
"HEY!"
"AND THAT'S FIVE TA ZERO! I'M GONNA ENJOY THIS PUMPKIN BREAD!"
"HOW DARE YOU PIN ME DOWN WITH YOUR FOOT! TAKE THIS TACKLE!"
"URGH! AGH!"
"Wow! Look at Sanma-kun go flying!"
"Yeah, no kidding! He sure smacked that wall pretty hard!"
"How is he still alive?"
"He's a martial artist. They're a whole other level from us normal guys…"
Indeed, the bystander could not have said it any better. Sanma was truly on another level – as well as in another world. For it was because of this that made Sanma feel… quite isolated sometimes… It felt like he had nobody that could understand him among his many peers his age…
Sanma sometimes… felt… lonely…
Especially when considering that he had to leave on another training journey once again… and thus another friend was left behind…
"COME BACK, SANMA! HOW DARE YOU TURN YOUR BACK ON ME THE MOMENT I FINALLY ARRIVED FOR OUR FINAL MATCH! COULD YOU REALLY NOT WAIT FOR MY THREE-DAY-VACATION TRIP TO END!?"
…even though Sanma had waited for Ryuga for three whole days at the meeting place (despite the heavy rain) at the right time. Sanma had no idea why Ryuga had thought that the meeting time was three days later.
But there was not time to feel sad. For Sanma and his father were on the road again.
What had changed was that, unlike before, they were not traveling through Japan. This time they were going to China for training.
And then that fateful day happened…
The day that changed Sanma's life and identity forever… Well, Mr. Raotome and Ryuga (who had followed Sanma to China) as well. Though that is a story for another time!
Despite being apart from so many of the people Sanma had known and cared about, Sanma would not feel lonely too often. He would always be distracted by trying to find the next meal or learning the next martial art… or even fighting new foes…
One time, Sanma and his father stumbled upon an Amazon village and ate the prize food for the winner of a martial arts tournament.
"Om, Nom, Nom…"
"Yum! This food tastes delicious, pop!"
"Yes! Chinese people make good food! Omm, nom, nom…"
The winner of the tournament was naturally not happy.
"YOU EAT PRIZE MONEY! CAT FU KILL YOU!"
"Yikes!"
In the end, it came to a match between Sanma and the Amazon, a girl named Cat Fu.
[WHACK!] "AIYA!"
"HAH! I WIN!"
And Sanma won the match.
"HAHA! I WIN! I WIN! I WI- Huh?"
And that was when Cat Fu gave Sanma the kiss of vengeance.
"Cat Fu kill you…"
"Yikes!"
Naturally, Sanma and his father left the village in haste.
Eventually, they went back to Japan where their long journey would finally come to an end. Why?
Because of something that Sanma's father and an old friend of his made many years ago. That friend was Soun Tengu, a fellow master of the School of Randomness.
What was that promise? To engage their children in a marriage. Their goal in doing so was to continue the lineage of the School of Randomness. According to the precepts and rules laid out by their master, the school could only be succeeded by a man.
So why did Gunma Raotome agree to it when he could have the line continue without the marriage?
Well, for one, for reasons of accommodation. The Raotomes had no proper place to live in, unlike Soun Tengu, who had a dojo. Additionally, Sanma's father had grown weary of sleeping outdoors.
The second was to unite their families, given that the two men were good friends.
The third was because the two of them sucked at being responsible men and had no job and thus, had no income. Thus, they hoped to rely on their children for that.
And thus, it came to pass that Sanma was to be engaged to one of Soun's three daughters.
The eldest daughter was Kasumi (19), a sweet young woman that acted as the mother and caretaker of the Tengu family since the death of her mother. It was hard to find a more beautiful woman in the whole of Nerima than her.
"Ufufufufu… Oh my! Thank you! Hearing you say that… That's so very nice of you…"
The middle daughter was Hibiki (16), a shrewd young woman that is the moneymaker of the Tengu family. Her income mainly came from bribes for information that she had accumulated through her network. She was so shrewd that some consider her borderline criminal.
"Hey! You can't survive in the jungle unless you're the strongest or the fittest… or in my case the smartest."
And the youngest daughter was named Nakane (15), a tomboyish girl with a quick temper. Out of all the sisters, she was the only martial artist. And it was because she was the youngest that she was the one got engaged to Sanma…
"It's not like I wanted to be engaged to that jerk! I hate him!"
…and yet despite saying these things, she constantly wallops Sanma whenever he gets close to a girl other than her.
"SANMA, YOU IDIOT!"
[WHACK!]
"Urgh… stupid tomboy…"
[WHACK!] "OUCH!"
And that was the beginning of Sanma's current dilemma of tangled and demanding relationships.
Not only would Sanma be beaten up for being with girls or insulting Nakane, but also for the slightest and innocuous misunderstandings
Sanma and Nakane were a… how do I put it? They were a mismatched couple whose only common denominator was the School of Randomness and their habit of bickering with each other.
Although, Sanma's relationship with Nakane was bad, they still were friends… of a sort… though those around them believe it is only a matter of time before something changes… for the worse…
At least, Sanma got along with Nakane's two sisters. However, a romantic relationship between them and him was out of the picture.
Speaking of Nakane's sisters, Hibiki would often exploit him for favors and money.
"Can you please stop posting those pictures of me on the internet?"
"Only if you pay me 500 yen."
"Will all of them be deleted if I do?"
"Actually, only half of the most embarrassing ones will. To delete the rest, you have to pay me double."
"Fine…"
Kasumi was always kind to Sanma and always showed politeness to him, yet they never developed feelings for each other.
Sanma, Hibiki and Nakane were students at Furinkan Vocational School and naturally attended classes there. There, Nakane would be pestered by a persistent senior named Takaki Kono, who also happens to be the member of a wealthy family.
"Nakane, my love! I have come to…"
"SHUT UP!"
[POW!]
"…ugh… it is all your fault Raotome… I swear by my family name that I shall…"
"Shut up!"
[Stomp!] "KEUK!"
And this would never end. Nearly every day, Takaki would either confess his love to Nakane or fight Sanma in a duel for Nakane's heart. Every time that happened, Takaki would get beaten up.
Every time... almost every day…
As if that was not bad enough, Ryuga finally found Sanma.
"SANMA!"
"RYUGA!"
[WHAM!] [BAM!]
Of course, they still remained friendly rivals, but then Ryuga fell in love with Nakane.
"Hmm…? Ryuga? Is there something you want from me?"
"Umm… no… ehehe… it's nothing…"
Unlike Takaki, Ryuga was very shy when it came to expressing his feelings to Nakane, hence their relationship did not go beyond being acquaintances.
Because of his feelings for Nakane, Ryuga resented Sanma for his bad behavior towards Nakane, a resentment that lingered deep within the bandana-wearing boy.
To make matters more complicated to this tangled web of love interests and engagements, Cat Fu came into the mix. After going all the way from China, she managed to track Sanma down…
"CAT FU FINALLY FIND SANMA! I KILL YOU!"
"OH CRAP!"
"YAAAHHHH!"
…only for her to fall in love with him.
"爱人, 我爱你 (Airen, wo ai ni – Lover, I love you)."
"Wait… What are ya…? Mmmph…? mmmm…"
And so, the love web grew…
Sanma and Cat Fu would have something of a love-hate relationship, which was more love from Cat Fu's end than Sanma's end. Cat Fu would always try to snuggle up to Sanma, while Sanma would try to resist. The reason for his resistance was his engagement with Nakane. His martial artist's code of honor could only allow him to be engaged to one woman. And thus, Sanma would resist… sometimes… but other times, he would just give in and make out with Cat Fu.
"Mmmm… *chu* Mmmm… *chu*"
"Mmmm… mmm… *chu* mmm…"
"SANMA, YOU JERK! HOW DARE YOU!"
"Nakane! Wait! I can explain! I… AUGH! AAAAAGGHH!"
"YOU DARE HIT MY AIREN! COURT DEATH!"
"BRING IT ON, YOU CHINESE FLOOZY!"
But then the love web grew even bigger.
Komachi Kono, sister of Takaki Kono would fall in love with Sanma as well, while trying to ambush Nakane before a certain competition.
"Don't ever hurt Nakane again, ya hear? She may be an uncute violent tomboy, but she does not deserve this!"
"Oh… you actually managed to defeat me… What is your name?"
"Huh? It's Sanma Raotome. What's it to ya? Huh? Why are you getting closer…? MPPHHH!?"
"*Chu*… Mmmm… *chu*… you are such a sexy man… *chu*"
"Mmmm… *chu*… mmm…"
"Slurp… *chu* I love you… *chu*"
"You… mmm… *chu*… mmm…"
"HOW DARE YOU DO THIS AGAIN, YOU UNFAITHFUL CHEATER!"
"Wait, Nakane… AGH!"
"Nobody touches my Sanma darling!"
"BRING IT, YOU GYMNAST WHORE!"
Like with Cat Fu, Sanma would also have make-out sessions with Komachi if he could not resist. Though given how loony she was, he was far more wary of Komachi. Luckily, they went to different schools and so Sanma could avoid her.
And then, yet another love rival would show up, this time Mouse from the Amazon Village, who cared for nothing other than to get into bed with Cat Fu.
"I'LL KILL YOU, SANMA!"
"SHUT UP!"
[WHAM!] "UGH! I won't give up… OOF!"
"Yeah, the next time ya fight, make sure yer glasses don't break! You just got knocked out by walkin' into a pole, just in case ya haven't noticed!"
But his problems did not end there.
There were powerful martial grandmasters like Grandmaster Happy and Elder Colon who had demands that Sanma found unreasonable.
Grandmaster Happy was a small but powerful martial artist and master of Gunma Raotome and Soun Tengu in the School of Randomness. Unfortunately, a major part of the school's art would involve stealing underwear. And that was what Happy would make Sanma do. Even worse, the old master would even… uh…
"Ah… Sanma my boy… You feel so good…"
"GET AWAY, YOU FRIGGIN' PERV!"
[POW!]
Elder Colon, on the other hand, had no such perverted ideas. As the leader of the Amazons and Cat Fu's grandmother, she one of the biggest sources of pressure on him to marry according to honor. Moreover, as a specialist in Chinese medicine and divine powers, in addition to martial arts, she liked to experiment on him…
"Ehehehe… With this, I can make your skin shine brighter…"
"Please, Colon… Urgh! AGH! It's making me itchy…"
"Hold still, boy! Just a little more… You need to be the perfect husband for Cat Fu."
All of this, made Sanma very irritable, stressed, and annoyed… It wasn't as if he could not relax and enjoy himself, but all this chaos and dilemmas made Sanma feel… exhausted. There were several times were nearly all of the people involved with Sanma chased him at once for various reasons. The last time something like that happened was about two months ago.
Flashback (Chapter 23)
"SANMA YOU IDIOT! COME BACK! TASTE MY CUPCAKES!"
"AIREN, COME SLEEP WITH ME!"
"SAN-CHAN! COME BACK! YOU FORGOT TO TASTE MY OKONOMIYAKI!"
"OHOHOHO! YOU CAN'T RUN AWAY FROM ME, DARLING! OHOHOHO!"
"COME BACK, RAOTOME! I SHALL DEFEAT THEE AND FREE NAKANE FROM THY CLAWS, FOUL MAGICIAN!"
"WHOOO! WHAT A HAUL! WHAT A HAUL!"
"FOOLISH BOY! HOW DARE YOU RUN AWAY FROM YOUR DUTIES!"
"INDEED! YOU MUST FULFILL THE HONOUR OF OUR FAMILIES AND MARRY MY DAUGHTER!"
"I'LL KILL YOU, SANMA AND THEN CAT-FU WILL BE MINE!"
"SON-IN-LAW! YOU MUST COME BACK TO CHINA WITH US!"
Flashback end
And last but not least was the time when Ukyu came back into Sanma's life. Sanma was happy to see his best childhood friend after so long. However, Ukyu was not happy that Sanma abandoned her and was also about to kill him.
"I don't get it! Why are ya so angry with me?"
"You dare say that… after what you did…?"
"I'm serious! What did I do? HEY!"
"Stay still and take your punishment like a man!"
And then, he found out the truth about Ukyu's anger…
"Fianceé!? How can that be? Ya're a guy!"
"I am a girl, you dimwit!"
…and her true gender…
"Let me feel it…"
"Wha-!?"
"Oh… ehem… So soft…"
"HOW DARE YOU!"
[SLAP!] "OW!"
Whatever dispute he had with Ukyu, was then all water under the bridge. Out of all the girls Sanma liked to spend time with, it was Ukyu. Ukyu was the one who understood him the most. She was the one who listened to his problems the most.
Sanma may never have made out with her as he did with Cat Fu and Komachi. But because of how naturally he got along with her, something inside them clicked. As a result, she, too, became a contender for his heart as well.
But that became a problem on its own. Even with the good relationship between them, there was… something in Ukyu's eyes that scared Sanma. And that something was an underlying desire… a yearning for him… his heart… his all…
In fact, Sanma noticed that same look in the eyes of Cat Fu and Komachi, as well.
But what scared Sanma the most was the looks of hurt and betrayal in their eyes whenever Sanma failed to meet their expectations.
Even Nakane, who hid her true feelings in her outbursts of violence, had those eyes, too. They were brief and hidden from sight, but they were with her, too.
Now, that Cat Fu and Nakane were avoiding him, Sanma could feel that pain more than ever.
Although Sanma knew what they wanted, he remained indecisive to their feelings and decided on delaying his answer. And so, Sanma would suppress those feelings in his soul.
And so, Sanma became alone… and misunderstood…
What was worse, was the fact that despite having friends and acquaintances, Sanma could not open his problems to them. They may have been his friends and acquaintances, but Sanma… did not trust them enough as that he would tell them about his problems. As a martial artist with pride, he could not afford to be seen as weak.
Now, Kasumi and Ukyu realized something was wrong with Sanma.
Despite that, they never approached Sanma, as they were quite busy with their own lives.
Ukyu was busy running her okonomiyaki stall, while Kasumi was busy with household chores.
Moreover, Kasumi would eventually become dissatisfied with her own life. She grew tired of wasting away her life at home and desire something more. That was when she turned to Yuda, the Fallen Angel.
"My dear beautiful Kasumi…"
"Oh, Yuda…"
How blissfully unaware she had been about his true evil nature at the time.
Their relationship would lead to Kasumi falling out with her father.
"Young lady, I forbid you from seeing him again. Do you hear?"
"…"
"Kasumi? Where are you going? I demand an answer from you, young woman."
And then, she had been kidnapped by Yuda and would have been sold as a prostitute.
Things truly would have gone downhill for both Sanma and Kasumi and everyone around them.
For Sanma it was emotional and mental. His indecision to decide what he wanted, and the expectations of others weighed heavily on his shoulders. He was lonely and had no one to turn to. Although, he would put up a façade of bravado, it was only a matter of time until he broke. Moreover, his encounter with Yuda led him to be unintentionally dragged into the affairs of the supernatural realm. He may have fought back and escaped with his life, but only just barely. Plus, had Kasumi never been rescued, who knows how that may have affected Sanma? After all, she was not rescued by him.
For Kasumi, it was not only mental and emotional, but also physical – in greater magnitudes than Sanma. Unlike, Sanma, she was no martial artist. She could not fight her way out. She was a weak, helpless, vulnerable woman. On top of that, she had been hypnotized and kept as a lifeless slave, as if being a slave to her household was not bad enough already. Even if she were not, the weight of betrayal and the horrors that would follow from her new sexual slavery would have devastated her beyond repair.
But then a boy came and turned things around for both.
For Sanma, it was not obvious at first. But sometime after their first conversation (Chapter 30), he eventually began to realize that this new boy was… different from the others. Unlike the other people in his life, this new boy knew how to fight against enemies more powerful than himself. He not only had the guts, but he also had the ability to do so.
For Kasumi, it was the boy's character. Yuda, her first lover, was smooth and charming with all his manliness, but that was all a façade meant to lure her into a trap.
That boy was different. He was not the manliest, nor was he her ideal type physically or character. Rather, what captivated her heart was the person she could see within him. The person she saw was one who had care and compassion for her. It was not one of pity, but one of a genuine passion to help her. This person did not flatter her with empty promises or comments, but rather gave her a cold but realistic view on how to solve the problem. And that problem involved going back to her home.
All the boy's virtues were reflected in his eyes – and that was what stood out the most to them. His eyes were ones of determination – determination to do the impossible – and a desire to save the people.
His eyes had none of the indecision or fear or desire that Sanma had seen in other people, but rather they had a will and a goal.
They were not the eyes of a mere boy Kasumi had seen in the eyes of other boys and men, but one of a man in the making, almost as if that boy would become a man unlike any other.
And that is why both Kasumi and Sanma grew close to him…
12th of November, Thursday, 5:33 pm – Tengu dojo, Tengu Residence, Nerima Ward
"You rescued me. You shook me out of my naïve thoughts about leaving my home and helped me find a new purpose, a new goal. The same goes for Sanma, I know it. His eyes no longer have that tinge of loneliness. Sure, he is not happy all the time, but I know that you are the one who gave him hope. For that I am eternally grateful to you…" Kasumi finished her explanation and prostrated before Issei Hyoudou.
Currently, the two of them were in the dojo doing their scheduled stretching exercises. Issei was wearing his gym clothes again, while Kasumi was wearing a white one-piece knee-length silk dress and her usual black leggings. Despite this, they decided to have another conversation about the people close to them.
"Easy there, it's not like I did anything special…" Issei said, as he sought to play down his contribution. He, too, was sitting on the dojo floor.
"No, you did," Kasumi insisted, as she sat up while remaining in a kneeling position. "Especially from my side, I never got to thank you for saving me from those monsters at the park. So, please accept it. That is the least I can do for you."
"No, umm really… you're helping me become flexible, so that's good enough… Although…" Issei suddenly had a thought in mind. "If you really want to thank me, you could hug me."
Kasumi smiled, then she stood up. She walked to him, every step of hers tread with grace and beauty.
"Kasumi?" Issei wondered as to what her intentions were, as she stood over him.
Then, she knelt down before Issei and looked at his face with a sweet smile.
Issei stared back at her, not saying a word, while waiting for her action.
Suddenly, she sprang at him and threw her arms around Issei's neck. This knocked Issei over causing him to fall on his back in surprise, as he was embraced by the young woman in top of him.
"Kasumi, what are you…?" Issei wanted to ask, but Kasumi moved her face closer to him.
"*Chu*" the young woman gave Issei a deep kiss on the cheek, making Issei flush red.
Simultaneously, Issei realized just how intimate the two of them were. Kasumi's entire weight was upon him. Issei could feel her breasts covered in her white silk dress pressing against his chest. Her legging-covered legs were rubbing against his legs. Her long flowing ponytail was covering Issei's face. And Issei himself was feeling… tight in his pants.
"Ka-Kasumi…?!" Issei voiced startled at her actions.
"Does this qualify as thanks enough, my hero?" Kasumi asked as she looked at him in a face, he had never seen her make before.
It was a face flushed in red and her eyes were filled with love and desire.
"Y-y-yeah…" Issei could only reply with a stutter. "Though, if it's okay to you, could you remain like this for a while."
"Sure, we can," Kasumi answered Issei with a happy smile, as she tightened her hug.
'Wow, to think that such a sweet woman could be so sexy and flirty…' Issei thought to himself, as he hugged Kasumi back.
"As I was saying. I really am grateful for everything that you did for me and being a friend to Sanma," Kasumi continued her words of thanks. "That boy has been suffering for a long time."
"I guess he has," Issei replied, though Kasumi being on top of him kept him aroused. "Hearing his life story was truly… shocking to hear."
"Yes, which is why as the person closest to Sanma, you deserve to know this," Kasumi explained as she hugged Issei. "You've helped him move forward, but at the same time, you must be careful when going forward."
"I do? Is it because of Sanma's parents and the Amazons?" Issei asked Kasumi, as he played with her hair, stroking it gently.
"In part, but it is also regarding the feelings of the other girls, especially Nakane," Kasumi answered.
"Her again… of course…" Issei nodded.
Nakane… Kasumi's youngest sister. Kasumi had told him about how she was shutting herself in her room and refusing to come out except for school. She even refused to talk to anybody about her problems, as they are eating her up from within.
How were Ukyu and Cat Fu doing? Were they also like Nakane? He did not know.
Issei knew Ryuga still had a grudge against Sanma because his crush on the tomboy. So, what could he do about it?
Seriously, what could he do?
"Well, I don't know how to approach her, let alone help her. She and I are not exactly close. And Sanma and the gymnast girl are still going out. They're going on a date tomorrow," Issei told Kasumi, as he wrapped his left hand around her ponytail.
"Are they a couple now?" Kasumi asked, giggled as Issei played with her hair.
"I don't know. I have never seen the two of them by themselves and Sanma claims they are just friends," Issei answered Kasumi, as he rubbed her hair against his face.
"I see…" Kasumi voiced, as she laid her head on Issei's chest.
The two of them lay there, as they thought to themselves in silence.
And then Kasumi had an idea.
"I have an idea!" Kasumi spoke up.
"An idea for what? Do you know how to solve Sanma's love web problem once and for all?" Issei wondered.
"Sadly not. What I meant was that I know what we can do to make progress. But first, we need to check the facts," Kasumi explained.
"Check the facts?" Issei asked her.
"Yes. Here's what we'll do…" Kasumi told Issei her idea.
Issei brightened up at Kasumi's plan. He was so looking forward for tomorrow.
And that was the Chapter 52 of The Lone Vigilante Issei.
Long story short, what you read in this chapter was more of a summary of Sanma's life, which as I mentioned before is derived from Ranma ½. Also, it ties in to how Issei helped him – and Kasumi. I really did not expect to write so much about eyes in this chapter, but I am really glad how this chapter turned out.
And I hope the next arc will be better. I have some ideas for them, too.
In the meantime, what did you think of this chapter?
Did you like it?
Please read and review, I would like to hear from you.
And as always, I hope to see you around next time.
Until then.
