Trigger Warning: Abuse & SA
Olivia woke up feeling refreshed and energized from their hiking adventure the previous day. As she made her way to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.
Just as she was about to start cooking, she heard Fitz's footsteps approaching. Fitz walked into the kitchen, his black Nike running shorts hugging his muscular legs and his bare chest glistening with sweat. Olivia's eyes roamed his tall stature and his toned physique, unable to resist the sight before her.
Fitz halted his steps when he saw Olivia in the kitchen wearing his T shirt with no pants and her perky pierced nipples showing through his white T shirt, a smile playing on his lips. He couldn't help but admire her beauty and the way she effortlessly moved around the kitchen. He walked up to her, his sweaty body still radiating heat, and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Good morning, baby," Fitz greeted, his voice filled with affection.
Olivia leaned back into his embrace, a contented sigh escaping her lips. "Good morning, handsome. Yuck! You are so sweaty" she teased " Go freshen up while I make us breakfast."
Fitz chuckled, his arms tightening around her. "I don't mind a little sweat if it means being close to you."
Olivia playfully pushed him away, a smirk on her face. "Well, I mind. Go take a shower, and I'll have breakfast ready by the time you're done."
Fitz grinned, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Alright, alright, I'll go. But I expect a delicious meal waiting for me when I come back."
Olivia raised an eyebrow, a playful glint in her eyes. "Oh, you'll get a delicious meal, alright. Just wait and see."
As Fitz made his way to the bathroom, Olivia got to work in the kitchen. She whipped up a fluffy omelette with extra bacon, knowing how much Fitz loved his bacon. She also prepared a stack of pancakes and a side of crispy bacon, along with a bowl of creamy grits for herself.
By the time Fitz returned from his shower, the kitchen was filled with the aroma of sizzling bacon and freshly brewed coffee. He walked up to Olivia, his hair still damp from the shower, and wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"Mmm, something smells amazing," Fitz commented, his voice filled with anticipation.
Olivia turned around in his arms, a mischievous smile on her face. "I made you an omelette with extra bacon, just the way you like it. And for me, I've got pancakes, bacon, and grits. Breakfast is served."
Fitz's eyes lit up with delight as he looked at the spread before him. "You spoil me, baby. I don't know what I did to deserve you."
Olivia leaned in and kissed him softly. "You don't have to do anything, Fitz. I love feeding my greedy man. Now, let's dig in before the food gets cold."
As they sat down at the table and began to eat, Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She had never cooked for Fitz before, and she wasn't exactly known for her culinary skills. She took a bite of her pancakes, hoping they turned out alright.
After a few moments, Olivia mustered up the courage to ask, "So, how does everything taste? I hope it's not too bad for my first attempt."
Fitz paused mid-bite, a look of surprise crossing his face. He chewed thoughtfully for a moment before a groan escaped his lips. Olivia's heart sank, thinking that her cooking had indeed turned out poorly.
But to her surprise, Fitz's groan quickly turned into a wide smile. "Olivia, this omelette is incredible! It's seriously one of the best I've had in a long time. You really dug your foot in this one!"
Olivia burst into a fit of laughter, her worries dissipating instantly. "Where did you learn that phrase, Fitz?"
Fitz chuckled, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "I picked it up from one of my college buddies. It means you did an amazing job, and I can't get enough of this omelette." He said it trying his hardest to mock her sarcasm
Relieved and overjoyed by Fitz's reaction, Olivia couldn't help but feel a surge of confidence. "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe I have a hidden talent for cooking after all."
Fitz leaned in and kissed her cheek, his voice filled with sincerity. "You definitely do, Olivia. This breakfast is proof of that. Thank you for making it special."
As they continued to enjoy their meal, Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of pride. She had not only surprised herself with her cooking skills but also brought joy to Fitz's taste buds. It was a small victory, but it made her realize that she was capable of more than she had thought.
And so, with their laughter filling the kitchen, Olivia and Fitz savored their delicious breakfast, cherishing the love and happiness they shared.
As Fitz finished washing the dishes, he turned to Olivia with a mischievous smile. "Go upstairs and look under your pillow," he said, his voice filled with anticipation.
Curious, Olivia made her way upstairs and walked into their bedroom. She lifted the pillow and found a single purple tulip and a letter from Fitz. Her heart skipped a beat as she unfolded the letter and began to read.
"My dearest Sassy bells,
I hope this tulip brings a smile to your face, just as your presence brings endless joy to my life. You are the light that brightens my days and the warmth that fills my heart. I wanted to express my love for you in this letter, to remind you of the incredible person you are.
Your past does not define you, Olivia. Your strength, resilience, and determination are what define you. I see a future with you, a future filled with love, laughter, and endless possibilities. I hope you see me in that bright future of yours, standing by your side through thick and thin.
On the back of this letter, you'll find an itinerary for our day together. First, we'll get dressed to swim in the pool, enjoying the refreshing water and each other's company. Second, we'll have a lazy lunch and take a nap, savoring the simple pleasures of relaxation and being in each other's arms. Then, we'll go horseback riding. I know you may have never ridden a horse before, but my horses are gentle, and I'll be there to teach you if you allow me.
After our horseback ride, I'll be cooking you a special dinner. We'll sit by the fireplace, enjoying the warmth and the flickering flames, as we savor a delicious meal together. And for the rest of the night, my love, I am at your service. Whatever your heart desires, I am here to make it happen. Thank you for being the incredible woman that you are, Olivia. You have brought so much love and happiness into my life, and I am eternally grateful. I love you more than words can express.
Yours forever,
Fitz"
As Olivia read the heartfelt words, tears welled up in her eyes and fell onto the paper. She was overwhelmed by Fitz's love and thoughtfulness. She couldn't believe how lucky she was to have him in her life.
With a smile on her face, Olivia carefully placed the letter back under the pillow and looked at the itinerary. The day ahead was filled with activities that she knew would create beautiful memories. She couldn't wait to spend the day with Fitz, experiencing new adventures and deepening their love for each other.
Filled with excitement, Olivia quickly got dressed in her swimsuit and made her way downstairs to join Fitz by the pool. She couldn't wait to start their day together, knowing that it would be filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments.
As Olivia and Fitz enjoyed their time by the pool, the warm sun shining down on them, Olivia couldn't resist the urge to splash Fitz. With a mischievous grin on her face, she cupped her hands and splashed him with all her might, sending a wave of water cascading over him.
Fitz let out a surprised laugh, his wet hair sticking to his forehead. "Oh, it's on now!" he exclaimed, a playful glint in his eyes.
Before Olivia could react, Fitz dove into the pool with a graceful splash, disappearing beneath the water's surface. Olivia's eyes widened in surprise as she realized what she had just unleashed. She quickly swam away, thinking she could outmaneuver him in the vast expanse of the pool.
Little did she know, Fitz had a secret. He had been a competitive swimmer in high school, and his skills had not faded over the years. With powerful strokes, he swiftly closed the distance between them, his eyes fixed on Olivia's playful figure.
Just as Olivia thought she had escaped, she felt strong arms wrap around her waist, lifting her effortlessly out of the water. She let out a surprised squeal, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and anticipation.
Fitz held her in the air for a moment, a triumphant smile on his face, before playfully dunking her back under the water. Olivia's laughter bubbled up as she resurfaced, her wet hair clinging to her face. She playfully slapped Fitz's chest, her eyes sparkling with joy.
"You sneaky swimmer!" Olivia teased, her voice filled with delight. "I didn't know you had those skills up your sleeve."
Fitz chuckled, his hands still holding onto Olivia's waist. "I have a few skills up my sleeve , my love," he replied, his voice filled with playful affection. "But you should know by now that I'll always catch you, no matter how fast you swim, walk or run."
Olivia's playful expression softened, her eyes filled with love. She reached up and gently cupped Fitz's face, drawing him closer for a tender kiss. Their lips met, and in that moment, time seemed to stand still. The world around them faded away as they lost themselves in the sweet embrace of their love.
As they pulled away, their foreheads resting against each other Olivia heard her phone ringing and it was Alexandra's ring tone she got out the pool with her hips naturally swaying fitz groaned feeling his erection growing he ignored it and continued to swim
Olivia Answered the call smiling widely as she seen her sister's face "Hi bug!" Alex says "Hi Ali I miss you how is your vacation?"
Olivia listened to Alexandra's excited recount of her time at Kyrie's vacation house, she couldn't help but roll her eyes playfully at her sister's enthusiasm. "Well, duh, Alex. I told you that you're Alexandra Pope. What family wouldn't love you?" Olivia teased, a smirk on her face. "But seriously, I'm really happy for you. I can see how much you love that man, even if it's a bit disgusting to watch you two make out all the time."
Alexandra laughed, her cheeks slightly flushed. "Oh, come on, Liv. You know you secretly enjoy being the third wheel."
Olivia shook her head, a mock look of disgust on her face. "Please, spare me the details. I don't need to know about your love life."
Alexandra quickly changed the topic, turning the conversation towards Olivia and the ranch. She could sense a rare blush crossing Olivia's face, and her curiosity got the best of her. "So, spill the beans, Liv. What's going on at the ranch? Any romantic developments?"
Olivia hesitated for a moment, her heart pounding in her chest. She took a deep breath and decided to share her news with her sister. "Well, actually... Fitz asked me to be his girlfriend, and I said yes."
Alexandra's eyes widened in surprise, a smile spreading across her face. "Liv, that's amazing! I'm so happy for you. You deserve all the love and happiness in the world."
Olivia's blush deepened, but she couldn't help but smile at her sister's words. "Thank you, Alex. It means a lot to me."
Alexandra's expression turned serious, her voice filled with concern. "But remember, Liv, you don't have to rush into anything past that. I know you've been through a lot, and you may still have some lingering PTSD. Take your time, pace yourself, and don't rush into anything if you're not ready."
Olivia nodded, gratitude filling her eyes. "I appreciate your concern, Alex. And don't worry, I'm taking things one step at a time. Fitz understands and is incredibly patient and supportive."
Alexandra smiled, her love for her sister evident in her eyes. "I'm glad to hear that, Liv. Just remember, I'm always here for you, no matter what. And if you ever need to talk or vent, I'm just a phone call away."
Olivia's heart swelled with love for her sister. "Thank you, Alex"
As the conversation continued, Olivia and Alexandra shared stories, laughter, and sisterly love. They promised to catch up more when Alexandra returned from her vacation, and Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort knowing that she had her sister's unwavering support.
Just as they were about to say their goodbyes, Alexandra took a deep breath, her voice filled with a mix of sadness and hope. "Liv, there's something else I need to tell you. Dad called today from jail. He said he'll be getting released soon and that he wishes you could forgive yourself. He wants you to know that where he is right now is not your fault, and when he gets out, he wants to make up for every moment missed with both of his girls."
As Olivia listened to Alexandra's words about their father's upcoming release from jail, a wave of emotions crashed over her. Memories of their tumultuous past flooded her mind, and tears stung her eyes. She could feel herself shutting down, unable to process the weight of her emotions in that moment.
Without saying a word, Olivia quickly ended the call with Alexandra, her voice choked with tears. She turned to Fitz, who had gotten out of the pool and approached her with concern in his eyes. He pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly against his chest.
"It's okay, beautiful," Fitz whispered, his voice filled with love and understanding. "Take your time. Cry if you need to. I'm here for you."
Olivia let out hard sobs, her body shaking with the weight of her emotions. She clung onto Fitz, finding solace in his warm embrace. He rubbed her back gently, offering comfort and support as she allowed herself to release the pain she had been holding onto for so long.
Minutes turned into hours as Olivia cried in Fitz's arms, letting go of the pent-up emotions that had consumed her. Fitz held her through it all, his presence a steady anchor amidst the storm of her feelings. He kissed her forehead softly, whispering words of love and reassurance.
When Olivia's sobs subsided and her tears began to dry, she looked up at Fitz, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you for being here for me, Fitz," she said, her voice filled with vulnerability. "I don't know what I would do without you."
Fitz smiled tenderly, his thumb gently wiping away the remaining tears on her cheeks. "You don't have to do anything alone. I'm here for you, always. We'll face whatever comes our way together even if Im not familiar with the situation."
Olivia nodded, a sense of strength and determination filling her heart. She knew that healing would take time, but with Fitz by her side, she didn't feel ready to confront her past but she knew one day she would find the forgiveness and peace she longed for.
And so, in that moment of vulnerability and raw emotion, Olivia and Fitz held onto each other
As Olivia sat up against Fitz's chest She wiped away her tears and looked up at him with a determined smile. "You're right, Fitz. It's time to put my past in the back of my mind and focus on the present. Let's get on those beautiful horses. I'm ready to learn, Professor Fitz."
Fitz grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "I knew you'd bounce back, Liv. That's the resilient woman I know. Get ready for a horseback riding lesson like no other."
They made their way to the stables, where Fitz introduced Olivia to his gentle and well-trained horses. He showed her how to approach the horses with confidence and respect, teaching her the basics of horse care and grooming. Olivia listened attentively, eager to absorb every bit of knowledge.
Once the horses were saddled up, Fitz helped Olivia onto her horse and mounted his own. He guided her through the proper way to hold the reins and sit in the saddle, ensuring she felt secure and comfortable. With each step, Fitz explained the different cues and commands, teaching Olivia how to communicate with the horse.
As they began to ride, Olivia felt a sense of freedom and exhilaration. The rhythmic movement of the horse beneath her, the wind in her hair, and the beautiful scenery surrounding them all contributed to a sense of peace and joy. She couldn't help but smile, feeling a newfound connection with nature and the magnificent creature beneath her.
Fitz rode alongside her, offering encouragement and guidance. "You're doing great! Relax your body and let the horse guide you. Trust your instincts."
With each passing minute, Olivia's confidence grew. She followed Fitz's instructions, feeling the horse respond to her cues. They trotted and cantered, gracefully moving together as if they were one. Olivia couldn't believe how quickly she was picking up the skills, thanks to Fitz's patient and expert guidance.
As they rode back to the ranch, Olivia's heart was filled with a sense of accomplishment and pride. She dismounted her horse, her legs slightly wobbly from the exhilarating ride. Fitz caught her in his arms, steadying her.
"You did amazing, baby," Fitz praised, his eyes filled with admiration. "I'm so proud of you. You've come so far today, both emotionally and in your riding skills."
Olivia beamed, a sense of fulfillment radiating from her. "Thank you, Fitz. I couldn't have done it without you. Today has been incredible, and I'm grateful for the experiences we've shared."
Fitz pulled her into a tight embrace, his voice filled with love. "I'm grateful for you. You inspire me every day with your strength and resilience. Let's continue to create beautiful memories together, one step at a time."
And so, with their hearts full of love and their spirits lifted, Olivia and Fitz walked hand in hand back to the ranch
As Olivia and Fitz entered the ranch, Olivia couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over her.
Fitz took Olivia's hand in his and led her to the kitchen. "I haven't started cooking yet, but I have something special planned for dinner," he said with a smile.
Olivia's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "Oh, really? What's the surprise?" she asked, her excitement growing.
Fitz leaned in closer, his voice filled with anticipation. "Well, I thought we could cook together. How about we make our favorite dish, homemade pizza?"
Olivia's face lit up with delight. "I love that idea! Homemade pizza sounds amazing. Let's do it!"
They quickly gathered the ingredients and started preparing the dough. As they worked side by side, their hands touching and their laughter filling the air, Olivia couldn't help but feel a deep sense of happiness. This simple act of cooking together felt like a symbol of their love and partnership.
As they rolled out the dough and added their favorite toppings, Fitz turned to Olivia with a thoughtful expression. "You know, Liv, I feel like we've been on this incredible journey together, but there's still so much I want to know about you. Would you be willing to answer a few questions? And in return, I'll answer anything you want to know about me."
Olivia's eyes softened, touched by Fitz's vulnerability. "Of course, Fitz. What do you want to know?"
Fitz smiled, his eyes filled with warmth. "Well, let's start with something simple. What's your favorite childhood memory?"
Olivia paused for a moment, a nostalgic smile playing on her lips. "One of my favorite childhood memories is when my family used to go on road trips. We would pack up the car and drive for hours, exploring new places and making memories together. I loved the sense of adventure and togetherness those trips brought."
Fitz listened intently, his gaze never leaving Olivia's face. "That sounds amazing, Liv. I can imagine how those road trips must have brought you all closer. I know you used to drive Alex crazy with that little pouting thing you do sometimes."
Olivia reached out and gently squeezed Fitz's hand laughing "Oh baby nothing has changed I still drive her crazy" . "Now it's your turn, Fitz. What's one of your favorite childhood memories?"
Fitz's expression softened, a hint of nostalgia in his eyes. "One of my favorite childhood memories is when my dad taught me how to ride a bike. I remember the feeling of freedom and independence as I pedaled down the street, with my dad cheering me on. It was a moment of pure joy and accomplishment."
Olivia smiled, her heart swelling with affection. "I can picture that, a skinny fitz with a huge head and a huge helmet ."
"Heyyy! Dont make fun of the head, theres lots of knowledge up here" he playfully taps his head
As they continued to savor their homemade pizza, Olivia and Fitz delved deeper into their pasts, their dreams, and their fears.
Fitz looked at Olivia with a curious expression. "What's the most daring thing you've ever done?" he asked, his eyes twinkling with interest.
Olivia chuckled, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes. "Well, once I decided to go bungee jumping off a bridge in New Zealand. It was absolutely terrifying, but also exhilarating. I mean, who needs coffee to wake up when you can just hurl yourself off a bridge, right?"
Fitz's eyes widened in surprise and amusement. "That's one way to skip the morning caffeine, Liv! I'm impressed, and also a little terrified at the thought. I don't know if I could ever do that."
Olivia laughed at Fitz's reaction, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "It was definitely a one-time thing, Fitz. But it was an experience I'll never forget."
Fitz shook his head in disbelief, a smile tugging at his lips. "I can only imagine, Liv. You're full of surprises."
The conversation flowed naturally as they continued to share stories and experiences. They laughed, they reminisced, and they dreamed about the future. The connection between them deepened with each passing moment, their bond strengthening over shared laughter and slices of homemade pizza.
As the evening wore on, Olivia and Fitz found themselves lost in each other's eyes. The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in their cozy kitchen, their hearts filled with love and contentment.
Fitz reached across the table, his hand gently covering Olivia's. "This has been one of the best weeks of my life, Liv," he said, his voice filled with sincerity. "Thank you for sharing your time with me, becoming my girlfriend and for opening up and letting me in. I feel like I understand you even better now, and I hope you feel the same about me."
Olivia's eyes softened, her heart swelling with affection for Fitz. "I do, Fitz," she replied, her voice barely above a whisper. "I feel closer to you than I ever have before. This night has been perfect."
As they finished cleaning up the kitchen, the air between Olivia and Fitz was charged with an undeniable tension. Their playful banter and shared laughter had given way to soft whispers and lingering glances. Fitz reached out, gently tucking a loose strand of hair behind Olivia's ear, his touch sending a shiver down her spine.
He leaned in, his lips brushing against hers in a soft, tentative kiss. The kiss deepened, their bodies moving closer together. Olivia's heart pounded in her chest, her mind a whirl of emotions. She was drawn to Fitz, her feelings for him stronger than she had ever experienced before.
But as the kiss grew more passionate, Fitz moved ontop of Olivia with his thick erection pressing against her panty clad core Olivia pushed him off of her forgetting who he was for a moment "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME" Fitz looked at her not wanting to touch her knowing she is obviously going through something relating to her PTSD "Liv...Its me baby..Its fitz im not going to hurt you" . She looked up at Fitz, her eyes filled with a mix of regret and sadness . "Fitz," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "im sorry..I... I'm just not ready yet."
Before she could say more, Fitz placed a finger on her lips, silencing her. He pulled back slightly, looking into her eyes with a gentle understanding. "Shh, Olivia," he said softly. "You don't owe me any explanation. Your words are enough."
He leaned in again, this time planting a soft kiss on her forehead, a silent promise of his patience and understanding. "We can take all the time you need," he whispered. "I care about you, Olivia. Your comfort is my priority."
Olivia felt a wave of relief wash over her. She looked up at Fitz, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Fitz," she said, her voice filled with sincerity. "I appreciate your understanding."
Fitz gave her a reassuring smile, his eyes filled with warmth. "Of course, Olivia. We're in this together, remember?"
As they settled down for the night, Olivia felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew she had made the right decision, and she was grateful for Fitz's understanding and patience.
Olivia gently extricated herself from Fitz's embrace, crossing her legs and taking a deep breath. She turned to face him, her eyes filled with a mix of emotions. "Fitz," she began, her voice steady despite the turmoil within her. "I want to explain to you why I'm so afraid."
Fitz immediately sat up, his full attention on Olivia. His eyes were filled with concern and understanding. "You don't have to, Olivia," he said gently. "But if you want to, I'm all ears, baby."
Olivia stares into space having a flash back
Flashback:
Olivia was 15, and Alex, was 19. They were in Olivia's room, giggling and painting each other's nails, a rare moment of carefree childhood. Suddenly, the door to Olivia's room slammed open, and Jasper, their mother's boyfriend, staggered in, reeking of alcohol.
"Get out of my room, you drunk!" Olivia shouted, her small voice filled with fear and defiance.
But Jasper didn't leave. Instead, he struck both Olivia and Alex, his movements clumsy but forceful. He pushed Alex out of the room, slamming the door shut behind her. Olivia was left alone with Jasper, her heart pounding in her chest as she backed into a wall.
Jasper lunged at Olivia, his hands reaching for her shirt and pajama shorts. But Olivia fought back. She punched him in his face, and while he was momentarily stunned, she darted out of the room.
Tears streaming down her face, Olivia ran to her mother, desperately trying to explain what had happened. But her mother dismissed her, coldly stating that whatever had happened was Olivia's fault.
Overwhelmed and terrified, Olivia did the only thing she could think of. She ran to the house phone and dialed her father's number, her small hands shaking as she punched in the digits.
"Dad," she cried when he picked up, her voice choked with tears. "Please come. Jasper... he..."
Her father, Josiah, didn't need to hear any more. He was at their house within minutes, his face a mask of fury as he confronted Jasper.
"What the hell do you think you're doing, Jasper?" Josiah roared, his voice echoing through the house.
Jasper, still drunk, sneered at him. "What's it to you, Josiah? They're not your kids."
Josiah's face hardened. "They're my daughters, and I won't let you hurt them."
The confrontation escalated quickly, and in the heat of the moment, Josiah did the unthinkable. He killed Jasper.
In the aftermath, Josiah comforted both Olivia and Alex, holding them close and promising that they were safe now. But their moment of relief was short-lived. Their mother, shocked and angry, had called the police.
The police arrived shortly after, arresting Josiah. As they led him away in handcuffs, he looked back at Olivia, his eyes filled with regret and sorrow.
That night changed everything for Olivia and Alex. Their father was taken away from them, and they were left to deal with the trauma and aftermath of Jasper's abuse. But through it all, they had each other, and they vowed to stick together, no matter what.
End of flash back
Olivia took a deep breath, gathering her thoughts. "My father is in jail because of me," she began, her voice barely above a whisper. "I was the one who called the police on him."
Fitz's eyes widened in surprise, but he remained silent, encouraging her to continue.
"It all started when my mother's boyfriend... he was abusive towards me and my sister, Alex and the last time he tried to sexually assault me ," Olivia continued, her voice trembling slightly. "He would yell at us, hit us... touch us inappropriately and my mother, she blamed us for his actions. She said we provoked him, that we deserved it."
Tears welled up in Olivia's eyes, but she blinked them away, determined to finish her story. "One night, it got really bad. He was drunk and he... he hurt us. I was so scared, Fitz. I didn't know what to do. So, I called my father."
Fitz reached out, gently taking Olivia's hand in his. His touch was comforting, a silent promise of his support.
"My father came as fast as he could," Olivia continued. "He confronted my mother's boyfriend... and things got out of hand. My father... he killed him, Fitz. He killed him to protect us."
Olivia's voice broke, the weight of her confession hanging in the air. "My father was arrested and sentenced to jail. And it's all my fault. If I hadn't called him that night..."
Fitz squeezed Olivia's hand, interrupting her self-blaming. "Olivia, look at me," he said, his voice firm but gentle. "What happened is not your fault. You were a victim, trying to protect yourself and your sister. Your father did what he thought was necessary to keep you safe. The blame lies with the man who abused you and your mother who allowed it to happen."
Olivia looked at Fitz, her eyes filled with pain and gratitude. "Thank you, Fitz," she whispered. "Thank you for understanding."
Fitz pulled Olivia into a comforting hug, holding her close. "I'm here for you, Olivia," he murmured. "You're not alone in this."
As Olivia leaned into Fitz's embrace, she felt a sense of relief wash over her. For the first time in a long time, she felt understood and supported. And although the pain of her past was still there, she knew she had someone by her side who would help her face it.
Fitz gently pulled back from the hug, holding Olivia at arm's length. He looked into her eyes, his gaze filled with sincerity and compassion. "Olivia," he began, his voice steady and reassuring. "I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. I know you don't open up easily, and I understand why. You've been through so much, and it's not easy to trust people with your pain."
He gently squeezed her hand, his touch comforting. "But I want you to know that you can trust me. I'm here to listen, to understand, and to support you. I want to be your safe space, Olivia. You can share anything with me, whenever you're ready."
Fitz paused, giving Olivia a moment to absorb his words. "And I know that sharing your pain with Alex isn't easy either. You both went through the same trauma, but you handle it differently. That's okay, Olivia. Everyone deals with pain in their own way. But remember, you don't have to carry this burden alone. I'm here for you."
Fitz's voice was filled with conviction, his words resonating with Olivia. She looked at him, her eyes filled with gratitude. "Thank you, Fitz," she whispered. "That means a lot to me."
Fitz gave her a gentle smile, his thumb gently stroking her hand. "And Olivia," he added, his voice serious. "I want you to know that I will never pressure you into anything you're not ready for. I care about you, and your comfort and consent are my top priorities. I'm here for the long haul, Olivia. I'll wait for you, no matter how long it takes."
Olivia felt a lump in her throat, touched by Fitz's words. She gave him a small, grateful smile. "Thank you, Fitz," she said, her voice choked with emotion. "I... I trust you ."
Fitz nodded, giving her hand a reassuring squeeze. "Always, Olivia," he said softly. "I'm here for you, always."
As they sat there Fitz holding Olivia close she felt a sense of peace wash over her. She knew she had a long journey ahead of her, but with Fitz by her side, she felt stronger and more hopeful. She knew she wasn't alone in her struggle, and that gave her the courage to face her past and look forward to a brighter future.
