Dawn hurried to him, wondering why she had been called so urgently.
-I have an important task for all combat-ready agents. He announced. - The legendary Palkia has been spotted south of here. Your mission is to find and catch him.
Dawn thought about it. Palkia was one of the most powerful Pokémon. The perfect target for their grenade!
-I'm ready to start searching, sir! She answered. This was a great chance to test the grenade against such a strong enemy.
Together with other agents, Dawn went south. She checked the grenade carefully and took it with her. Palkia will be caught no matter the cost! Dawn and a squad of agents arrived at the location south of the base where Palkia was spotted. Here they were to receive further instructions from the mission commander.
Soon the commander got in touch:
-So, agents, here is your plan of action. Divide into several groups and comb the entire area. Report any traces of Palkia you see. If detected, call for reinforcements. If you have a chance to catch it, use it, don't miss out on the legendary Pokemon!
Dawn and several other agents made up the search party. They moved to comb the indicated area in search of Palkia. Suddenly noise and screams were heard ahead. They rushed there and saw an incredible sight: several Team Galaxy agents engaged in battle with Palkia himself! The powerful legendary Pokémon furiously fought off their attacks, trying to escape. But the agents tried to exhaust him in order to catch him. Dawn realized - this is her chance! While Palkia was busy fighting, a grenade could be used. Shaking with excitement, Dawn took out the device and took aim, choosing the moment to throw. Every minute there were more and more Team Galaxy agents. But the legendary Palkia turned out to be not such an easy opponent - he quickly incapacitated the Pokémon attacking him and their trainers. Dawn realized that attacking him head-on was pointless. She decided to use cunning - to sneak up behind Palkia and deliver a sudden blow. While the legendary Pokemon was busy repelling attacks from the front, Dawn carefully, trying not to make noise, moved towards him from the rear. Her heart was pounding with excitement. Dawn held the grenade tightly in her hand. She knew this was her chance to weaken a powerful enemy and give the agents the opportunity to catch him. Silently approaching Palkia, Dawn prepared to attack. She hesitated, ready to swing and throw the grenade, but something told her that this was not the right moment. After some time, she finally made up her mind and threw a grenade directly at the legendary Pokemon. The grenade immediately exploded, creating powerful electromagnetic waves that immobilized Palkia. From this outcome, everyone present was amazed - both the agents of Team Galaxy and the legendary Pokemon himself. Taking advantage of their confusion, Dawn rushed towards Palkia and threw a Pokeball at him, successfully catching it. As expected, despite all its power, after being hit by a grenade, the Pokemon could not move. Dawn picked up the pokeball with the defeated legendary Pokemon and proudly looked at all the Team Galaxy agents nearby. Then the commander decisively approached her and gave the order to immediately follow him.
Having received the order, Dawn followed the commander to a car parked nearby. She got into the car, the commander took the driver's seat, and they hit the road together, heading to the organization's headquarters. Dawn felt a surge of pride from successfully completing the task of capturing the legendary Pokémon. However, deep down, she had a strange feeling that she had done wrong by attacking this powerful and beautiful Pokemon. "It's probably just the excitement after the fight," Dawn thought, pushing away her doubts. The commander was silent the whole way, looking intently at the road. His sullen expression conveyed nothing. Dawn wondered what awaited her upon her arrival at headquarters, but decided not to ask too many questions just yet. Upon arriving at Team Galaxy headquarters, Dawn was immediately taken to a small waiting room and politely asked to wait a moment. She looked around the ascetically furnished room - light gray walls, plastic chairs along the walls, on a table in the corner - a stack of some magazines. It was clearly not intended to be a long stay here.
After waiting for five minutes, Commander Saturn entered the room. As reserved as ever, he said dispassionately:
-Agent Dawn, please follow me.
Dawn hurried to carry out the order and followed the commander through the corridors of the headquarters. Finally they stopped at a door marked "Commander-in-Chief Cyrus." Dawn's heart began to beat anxiously. The commander knocked and, having received an invitation, let her into the spacious, bright office. Commander-in-Chief Cyrus himself sat at a huge table in front of the panoramic window... His gaze was gloomy and thoughtful, as always. As soon as Commander-in-Chief Cyrus saw Dawn, he calmly and unemotionally said:
-I assume it was you who caught Palkia?
-Yes, I did it. Dawn answered, trying to make her voice sound firm and confident, although inside everything was trembling with excitement.
She took out a pokeball with a legendary pokemon:
-All for the sake of Team Galaxy.
-Very good. I think you will go far with these skills. Cyrus said dispassionately. - I really appreciate your abilities and intelligence.
Dawn felt a surge of pride at the commander-in-chief's praise. Although he spoke without emotion, it was clear that he truly appreciated her success.
Cyrus also added:
-Taking into account your brilliant abilities, I decided to promote you to the level of commander with a special training course.
-I happily accept this decision! Dawn answered. - It is a great honor for me to have a new title and responsibility. Now I can better serve the great goals of Team Galaxy.
Dawn was eagerly awaiting the start of her training in order to justify the high trust placed in her and take her rightful place in the ranks of Team Galaxy.
