"Come with me." Lucas insisted. Putting his hand out for her to take. She took his hand and let him lead her upstairs.
"Let me show you what i've been working on." Lucas said. As they made their way through the hallway.
Lucas opened a door and told her to walk through first.
When she did. Tears filled her eyes. As she turned to look to him.
The room as far as Brooke knew was empty.
But he had managed to turn it into a nursery. Bright. Beautiful. Colors had no gender in mind.
"I want a lifetime with you. To have that big family. In this house."
"I want to spend the rest of my life making you feel the way you deserve too." Lucas said. Closing the door behind him. As he pulled out a ring box from his pocket.
Brooke felt her heart leap into her throat.
He revealed the ring to her.
And Brooke said yes.
He slipped the ring on her finger. Took her into his arms.
Kissing her gently. Relieved that she was willing to give him one last chance.
