Rose pov
Rose woke up the day of her date with Han who is only 7:00 a.m. so she figured she'd lay around in bed I didn't say they were going out until 7:00 that night and then they were going to the race after dinner so she decided to text Han and has how she should dress she figured he wouldn't be up yet so she got up did her morning routine what is breakfast and figured she'd make a phone call.
Rose decided she would call Severus since he's been a couple weeks and he was probably getting antsy ever since the end of the war he had taken the role of godfather to an extreme and she found that once he didn't have the pressure of Dumbledore or Voldemort on his back that he could be quite pleasant so she figured she'd call and let him know how the vacation was going and then she would probably call Ron or Hermione or both she had video chatted Luna yesterday and Luna was talking about going to explore with her boyfriend Ralph for bowtruckles which was one of those more widely known creatures she believed that the creatures luna talk about in the past were real just because she or anybody else hadn't seen them didn't mean that they weren't real and she had told that to Luna and Luna smiled and said to her that Tokyo was really good for her because the nargels had left her alone so she smiled at Luna and said that she would talk to how soon and ended the conversation so here she was now with the phone in her hand to call Severus.
Severus pov(one I wouldn't do a lot)
It was 7:30 in the morning and thank God it was still summer time and he didn't have to deal with any more dunderheads since the war things have been a lot easier and he's been able to be the type of man he wanted to be not what Voldemort wanted or Dumbledore wanted but who he truly was which was a Man who Loved to do potions love defense against the dark arts and actually just like to do research but he had a contractor fulfilled with Hogwarts for another year before he could do his research full time but thankfully Amelia bones who has survived for war and became the head of the department of mysteries told him that he could have some side projects to he was ready to become a full member of the Dom just as he was about to start doing some research his cell phone that his goddaughter Rose Potter yes Rose he was actually quite happy about that to learn that his childhood friend whom he thought hated him had actually forgave him and to know that James Potter actually felt remorse for what he did in Hogwarts made him feel slightly better he felt bad that he had taken a lot of stuff out on Rose but he needed to play the bad guy but the fact is that lily admitted that she had let her stubbornness getting away of taking me apology sooner and forgiving him and that she missed her best friend a lot of people assume that he loved lily in a romantic sense no it had always been a brother sister bond to him and he was just glad to know that Lily had trusted him as a godfather to her daughter even though he discovered it after the war and he promised himself that now that he had this new lease on life that he was going to make sure Rose was safe and happy that's why he had encourage this trip for her but you also knew in his heart that he might be the last time she lived in England she needed a new start but as the phone rang for the third time he realized he should answer it instead of zoning out to pass memories.
As he answered the phone he was greeted with the sound of his goddaughter saying good morning and he greeted her in the same and that's how she was enjoying her vacation and she gushed over the phone with him and then sounded quite nervous and explain to him that she had a date he was quite surprised he knew his god daughter was searching for an intimate human connection other than close friends and that she wanted a partner but most men and even women he did not judge didn't really like her for her they were trying to win over the girl who lived or the woman who conquered and to find that in Japan the whole places and she had gotten a date had taken him by surprise and he knew he was a bit overprotective when it came to her so he had told himself before he answered her back about it that he was going to be supportive so he encouraged her to go out and have a good time and if it was getting serious to let him know and he asked the second most important question that he could think of how is she liking Japan he had known she was using a vacation to see if this could be a place you could settle and he asked if this was where she thought she could stay on a permanent basis.
Rose's pov (long chapter)
Rose thought about Severus question and said honestly I really have to give it more time I've only been here for less than a week but the feel Japan gives off I can find it very peaceful maybe not a very permanent setting maybe travel other places but this connection that I feel with Han I would want to bring him with me if it works out but let me let you get done with your morning and I'll call you in a couple of days and she got off the phone with Severus when she looked at the clock it was only 8:45 not a very long conversation but long enough that she let a sigh of relief knowing that's Severus wasn't going into overprotective mode.
Rose's phone then chime letting her know she received a text Han had texted her back saying that she should wear something casual since they were going to the races after.
Rose look through her bags and realize that yes she had casual but she wanted something a little newer so she decided that she would walk to one of the boutique she saw and look and see if she could find something over there with that Rose put on her flats and set out to do just that.
