Chapter 34

Satoru carried her around proudly.

She wasn't uttering anymore, Yua was awake and coherent by the looks of it, but, she was still silent and unmoving. Nevertheless, Satoru couldn't be happier. Today was going to be an interesting one though. He stayed outside with Yua in his arms as everyone began to run around like crazy.

In fact, he saw his kids running about. "Man, Rook has gotten faster hasn't he?" he said offhandedly. He began talking aloud to Yua in hopes to get a response from her.

But today was different, since after all. Chusi's water broke two hours ago.

He has kept it a secret from Yua about her pregnancy, he didn't want to stir up any sort of memories of the trauma, so he sat back and watched the world go by with her. "I hope you are feeling better Yua. And… I'm sorry again… I let you down." He said gently.

Only to feel a smack at the back of his head!

He turned and saw Suguru doing such a thing. "We spoke of this," he said in a warning tone. "Now, drop the matter."

Satoru nodded as he watched everyone going every which way. In fact, the one most panicked was Sukuna! He appeared almost lost, until Toshi and Choso approached him and helped him along.

Within four hours, there was calm. Then the message came on Satoru's phone.

'It's a boy… God help us all' came from Suiryu.

He smirked and saw other photos taken, there was one of Chusi passed out but holding Sukuna's left hand. He was in a chair, holding the baby against his chest but appeared to be passed out like her. "I doubt he is sleeping… he won't be getting much soon." Gojo whispered to himself.

But then, after a while, he got another message.

'Bring Yua'

That was from Ryomen Sukuna himself.

With a sigh, Satoru brought her to the hospital. Suguru went back and stayed with the children. Gojo made his way into the room where he saw Chusi wide awake now… but… she bore an empty expression on her face LIKE Yua!

"Chusi!"

"It's just hitting her."

Gojo turned and saw Sukuna peering over at her. "The affect of the attack, is just hitting her now." He was worried. Gojo knew it too.

He went to her bedside. "Chusi… you don't have to feel this way… You have a baby to look after now…" he tried to get her to snap out of it, but she paid no attention to him.

Yet, Gojo froze as Yua's hand weakly reached out. He inched closer until she was within range. Gently, her hand coiled into Chusi's. But nothing more happened.

"Yua… are you aware to what's going on?" Gojo asked of her gently.

"She is…" whispered Chusi.

Sukuna sat up rather stunned to the development. "Chusi!"

"Ryomen… the baby… the baby is safe, right?"

"The baby is right here, look. You gifted me a son!" he said proudly. "Satoru, Yua… this is Ryoto"

"After her brother… nice" Gojo said gently. "Yua did the same thing!"

Peering down, Gojo realized, she was looking at the baby. He peered over himself and saw Sukuna had noticed. He was careful in getting out of the chair before approaching them. He looked to Yua and adjusted her arms before placing his son within them. "Sit" he ordered Satoru.

Gojo nodded as he took a chair and sat down, he kept looking to Yua who was now memorized by the baby in her arms. "Wow, to think YOU had a kid?" Gojo snickered to Sukuna. "Aw he has a little tuff of orange hair sticking out!"

"Watch it," he warned. "Or do you want to switch back!"

"No… not yet…"

"I don't think… anyone explained this to me…" Chusi said as she stared at the two of them. "Especially you? When did you get my technique?" she demanded of Sukuna.

"Uh… about that… Mother Tooru let me have it… I suppose she saw this coming…" he muttered.

"Either way, I asked since… I could hold Yua better this way." Gojo explained.

"I'm not upset about it, I am just surprised you actually did this after complaining about it for a month." She said and snickered.

Before long, Yuuji and Suiryu came into the room to check up on everyone. They were stunned to see Yua holding the baby, but they smiled about it as well. "Everything good? Mom and baby are good?" Suiryu asked.

Chusi smiled and nodded. "Yes, I came out of that stupor faster than I thought I would… that was thanks to Yua. She reached out to me, telling me, it's okay…"

"She said that?!" Yuuji asked with excitement.

"She's still mute" Sukuna snapped back. "But, there is something we can do now. She is breaking out of this, we need to get her to laugh." Everyone stared at him oddly. "Seriously, we do. It's a family thing too, when they laugh, it opens up their mind and heart again. Don't ask, it was just how it was explained to me…" Sukuna muttered.

So, they need Yua to laugh?

"I am certain I could do something that will get her laughing!" Gojo decreed.

The room was awkwardly silent. Suiryu and Yuuji peered at each other as Suiryu sighed. "Satoru… I am saying this as a sort of kind of friend… No" he put bluntly. "Better still the reason… I find you as funny as that Takaba guy."

Gojo was going to protest, until Yuuji even nodded! "Sensei… I'm your biggest fan, you know I do find you funny, at the same time. I have been burned by your… humor too often, so I say this… don't try to make Yua laugh."

However, this whole situation got Sukuna and Chusi laughing!
