"A prophecy? Our child is the subject of a prophecy?" Leo was stunned. He and Piper had just arrived home and had immediately been informed of why Xander and Cordelia were visiting.

"This might be why the Elders wanted to talk to you last night, Leo." Phoebe said. "Before Piper did her swan dive."

"That would make sense. And don't get me wrong, I'm grateful you guys are willing to help, but why wouldn't we be able to deal with this ourselves?" Leo asked.

"Normally you would, but our presence here the last time we were here, affected things. You don't know it but Piper has scar tissue on her pelvis. It was broken by the blowback of all that Magic used in one place. It's going to cause issues with the delivery." Xander told the suddenly frightened parents. "Between fighting off demons who know about the prophecy and not knowing about the complications, the baby's life and future are at risk. We're to not only help with protecting Piper and the baby, we're to help with the delivery, if necessary."

"I can orb right now - ." Leo started to say.

"No, you can't." Xander told him. "I'm pretty sure she's already in labor. Magic's going dormant even as we speak."

"How can you tell?" Leo asked.

"We've gained some medical knowledge in our travels. The way she's holding her back and rubbing it and the occasional winch are very telling if you know what you're looking for." He answered, just as a demon shimmered into the room. It tried to manifest a fireball, but it fizzled out.

"I was afraid of that." The demon said and raced at Paige with his arms outstretched. Only be coldcocked by Xander's fist.

"Okay, that seems to confirm Magic's down. At least for demons." Cordelia noted. "Weird, the demons back home are ugly toothed creepazoids, only vampires look human. Right up until they decide to drain you dry. Really different here."

"Yeah, the one that attacked us in the reality we first met Paige in looked human too." Xander said. "Do you guys have rope? We should ask him some questions."

"I've got handcuffs." Paige said. "From my date last week. I'll go get them."

"Handcuffs and date. Faith would love her." Cordelia announced. "And don't think I don't know what's on your teeny tiny brain, Doofus."

Xander tried to look innocent, but failed. Spectacularly.

Once the demon's hands were handcuffed behind him and through the back struts of a dining room chair, Xander shook him to wake him up.

"What's your name?" He asked him.

"Stanley."

"Seriously?" Cordelia asked.

"Yes, my master sent me."

"We aren't even going to have to question you, are we?" Xander asked.

"I'm to deliver a message."

"What message?" Leo asked, glaring at him.

"I am the message. Proof that Magic is down."

"You were willing to die to deliver that message?" Phoebe asked.

"My master says I will be a legend among demonkind."

"No, cannon fodder." Xander told him. "What exactly are the demon's plans for the baby?"

"She could be a force for great good or great evil. We intend to ensure she's evil." The demon answered.

"Oh, no way!" Piper insisted. "I'll kill every demon on Earth before I let that happen!"

"You won't be able to stop us. My master is rallying his troops as we speak."

"Thanks for the heads up." Xander told him and knocked him out again. "We need to fortify the house. There are other ways of protecting the baby then Magic. It's time to break them out."

"What ways? We've always relied on Magic." Phoebe told him. "We don't have any kind of conventional security on the house.

"We need to board up the window on the first floor. Then traps. We need to get Piper into the attic. It has the least amount of windows and only one door. Makes it more defensible." Xander answered. "We make the area as comfortable as we can for her. And according to our parents, there's going to be a unicorn here before long. Because it comes from another realm, it's Magic won't be affected. You guys may be able to do something with it's Magic. They are examples of good Magic, right?"

"They are." Leo agreed. "And we've been getting a lot of baby gifts from the magical community. If someone could figure out how to get us a unicorn from another realm, I'm sure they'd try. I can run to the hardware store and get the stuff needed. God knows I've put this place back together enough to know what the measurements on the windows are. And I've got supplies in the garage too. Between you and me, we should be able to manage it."

"I'll follow your lead, I don't know a whole lot about carpentry, but I have swung a hammer or two. Besides the one I use to call the lightening, I mean. I'll go see what's in the garage and start bringing stuff in."

"And I'll help Phoebe set up the attic." Cordelia said. "And inventory you guy's medical supplies. Paige, why don't you help Piper up to the attic. Until this is over I don't think she should be left alone at anytime. Except when she needs to use the bathroom, of course."

Everyone agreed and scattered to their assigned tasks.
