As he approaches, he notices that Joel's Stand, Iron Army, was able to stop the bullet before it hit Joel. Jotaro lets time run again.

Iron Army summons a sniper rifle and shoots exactly where the shot towards Joel came from… but there was nothing. "What the fuck, a Stand user…"

They groan in pain, this creates an opening for Whitesnake to attack. He redirects his attack towards Joel's head, which makes him instinctively defend himself, but changes the direction of the attack towards Jotaro. Pucci rushes out of the police station, shouting to anyone within earshot, "Help! The BOPE captain has gone crazy and he's trying to kill me!" A citizen who was driving a car sees the scene and the deplorable state Pucci is in and allows Pucci to enter his vehicle.

Joel and Daniela leave the police station and see the Father fleeing in the car and losing them. While Joel tries to get Jotaro to answer him, Daniela thinks to herself.
