Chapter 6: Seeking Redemption - Part 02
Velvet's Revenge here with the 6th chapter of "Love Always Conquers All" and I just wanted to thank everyone who's been giving me their continued support since I first started writing this fanfiction. Anyways, I left the previous chapter on a cliffhanger and now the time has come to find out on what happens next? Anyways, please read or review on what you thought about this chapter?
Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto and I never will because it rightfully belongs to Masashi Kishimoto and Shonen Jump.
A few weeks have now passed and for Hinata she kept on having flashbacks on when she screamed in Sakura's face and making the decision to end their relationship. Because of everything which had occurred, Hinata now refused to leave home for any reason whatsoever, with the chance of seeing Sakura and Karin together and creating more heartache for herself.
On the other hand, Hinata kept on having second thoughts on maybe she might've overreacted. However, she kept on ignoring it because she remembers hearing that fateful saying of "How dare you? Why did you just kiss me?" which did cause her heartbreak to happen.
Meanwhile, Hinata was within her bedroom and was thinking of something to help clear her mind. However, her thinking process was interrupted when Hinata heard the doorbell ringing and wondered on who that could be at this time of night? When she opened the door it left her shocked beyond believe and only because it revealed to be Karin Uzumaki standing directly in front of her.
Before any of this had occurred, Karin was feeling anxious and all because of taking the last few steps towards Hinata's apartment and being unsure on what'll happen when Hinata sees her there? Knowing it was very risky to come here, Karin knew she'll have to take that chance to help fix everything she caused a few weeks ago. Summoning up all the courage inside her, Karin rang the doorbell and awaited for the outcome.
Now an intense atmosphere was developing and that subsided when Hinata slapped Karin and angrily shouted, "Why are you here?"
"I should've seen that coming! Anyways, the reason I'm here is because words can't explain how sorry I am for putting you through all this. After you told me about loving Sakura it changed me into the worst person imaginable and I only allowed my emotions to show betrayal and hatred towards you and Sakura. Unfortunately, this next part will make you angry because I unexpectedly bumped into Sasuke within Hinokicho Park a few months ago and I might've told him about my hatred towards you. Therefore, he used that very knowledge to his own advantage to help manipulate me into teaming up with him and using me in a plan to help destroy your relationship." Karin answered.
"How could you work with that asshole?" Hinata angrily enquired.
"Could you allow me to finish? After committing the evil deed, Sasuke decided to show his true colours and I'll admit it was totally unexpected. He revealed that he'd been using me the whole time, planned to have all the blame shifted onto me and making it look like he wasn't involved. After discovering that revelation, I finally realised that I didn't want to be that person anymore and I started following my heart for the right reasons this time. Finally, I know a lot has got to change before I can be the person I was before everything happened and I'm just praying you can accept my deepest apologies." Karin explained with remorse.
Meanwhile, Hinata had finally calmed down and was paying attention to everything Karin was doing? Thanks to looking into Karin's eyes and hearing what type of voice was being used throughout her speech, Hinata started to believe that Karin was very apologetic for everything and was looking to make amends. Out of nowhere, a smile appeared on Hinata's face and responded with a "You really are stupid at times!" remark.
"I can't disagree with you there! Anyways, we should put this all behind us and look forward to a brighter future as friends again and not enemies anymore. Finally, you don't have to worry about getting revenge on Sasuke because he's already been dealt with by everyone we know." Karin explained and Hinata was left shocked by those final words. Now wanting to move on from this latest chapter of their lives, Hinata accepted Karin's request for friendship and leaving her mightily relieved.
"What did you do to Sasuke?" Hinata questioned.
"It wasn't a pretty sight! After our fight with Sasuke, he got treated for his injuries and found himself being expelled for disobeying school rules. Fortunately, all our friends didn't get punished for anything and I was unlucky to find myself being suspended for 2 weeks. All because I started the fight with Sasuke and then forced to replace the trophy cabinet because it got damaged during our encounter. Also, do you remember when you threw away the necklace that belonged to Sakura?" Karin cautiously enquired.
"What about the necklace?" Hinata wondered.
"I picked the object up from where it had landed and gave it back to Sakura. Anyways, it's probably a good idea to head over to Sakura's place and rekindle your relationship with her?" Karin acknowledged.
Out of nowhere, Hinata kicked her senses into overdrive and knew she needed to speak with Sakura to help repair their relationship. Moving from where she'd been standing previously, Hinata slipped into her trainers, headed over to Sakura's and totally forgetting that Karin was still outside her apartment.
(Location: Haruno Residence)
Over at the Haruno's and weeks had gone by since Sakura endured having Hinata screaming in her face. Because of all that it caused their relationship to end and their wedding being cancelled. Despite getting revenge on Sasuke for everything he'd done, it was still difficult not having Hinata by her side and was hoping Karin's plan was successful.
Meanwhile, Sakura had finished doing her homework and was waiting for her parents to arrive home from work. Suddenly, the doorbell started ringing and Sakura decided to answer the door and when opened it revealed to be Hinata crying hysterically. Without giving her any chance to respond, Hinata wrapped her arms around Sakura, deeply apologising for everything and kissing Sakura which she hasn't done for weeks.
"It's alright! You don't need to apologise for anything because I would've reacted the same way you did." Sakura quietly whispered.
"I just wanted to let you know that Karin showed up unexpectedly at my front door and not forgetting where I slapped her hard and then forcing her into explaining everything to me. During her speech, I began noticing within her tone of voice, that Karin was indeed apologetic for all the trouble she caused and both agreeing to forget that this ever happened." Hinata explained and Sakura breathed a sigh of relief because she's realising that Karin's plan had worked.
"Does that mean our wedding is back on?" Sakura cautiously asked and Hinata nodded for an answer to that question.
Oh, yeah! Sakura and Hinata are together again, their horrible ordeal is finally over and the wedding is back on. My favourite part was having Hinata forgiving Karin for everything and agreeing to move on from all this as friends and not enemies anymore. To find out what happens next, stay tuned for the next chapter and with that Velvet's Revenge out!
